Fantastic experience: All staff are lovely. Nice, welcoming gym. Nice vibes. All the PTs are always really obliging and helpful. Nothing is ever too much effort. The cleaning standards in this gym are outstanding. Can get really busy especially early evenings.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant. Normally really quiet first thing! More expensive size than my closest Pure Gym and not much bigger but nice it's on 2 floors.

Fantastic experience: Can’t fault it. First time user going with a climbing buddy. No equipment out of commission. Clean space, good layout and split level for a balanced configuration. Sufficient equipment to reduce waiting, short if at all. Easy access via the app. High quality kit and some items I’m not able to use at everyone active. Temping me to change to Pure though the cost is higher for my use case as I don’t need the 24hr access. Sled push is really effective for push and pull (for the knees). Lots of cardio and weight machines with free kit in sufficient quants. Interesting and sensible layout with no hot spots across the levels. Water station at each level and bring a padlock climbing style lockers.

Negative experience: It’s really gone down hill since it opened. It is SO hot in there. Why is it so hot? There is no circulation of air it feels stuffy and it’s horrible when you’re exercising to the point it makes me feel ill. PLEASE put the air con on!!!! Also why is there always rubbish lying around? For example I’ll see a water bottle or a tissue on the floor and then visit later in the week and it’s still there!!! Needs better hygiene standards.

Positive experience: I've only visited the gym due to a particular circumstance, and not to use the equipment. It looks well equipped for those energetic and wannabe toned guys that use the place. It was also clean and the staff were friendly.

Negative experience: Few key machines still needed (delt lateral raises, lat pulldown, triceps ext, incline chest press), some grip variations as well… Gets very hot inside wich makes it uncomfortable

Fantastic experience: Josh Stevenson the personal trainer at pure gym gave me really good advice with my training and we had really good intense training session working on certain aspects of my health and fitness I highly recommend for every body

Negative experience: The gym is ok, limited equipment but generally not to bad. The HUGE downside to this gym is the intense heat, when asking the staff to make it cooler you simply get told ‘no’ ‘we cant’. Compared to loosing members this is a minimal ask. Other gyms being considered as this is an ongoing issue not being resolved.

Positive experience: Lack of any real cleaning, no hand gels stations at all and no paper towels. Gym temperature is not comfortable at all to work out in and this is reported and known yet they won't change it.

Positive experience: Gym is great, well equipped and clean with friendly staff. My only gripe is that the music is far too loud in the downstairs area that it is impossible to hear my own music above it. Would be great if the staff kept it to a more acceptable level so that those who prefer to listen to their own music are able to do so.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, apparently able to cancel online which I have been unable to find, or they just recommended you cancel your direct debit.

As per the terms and conditions we advise all members read before joining, to cancel, you simply need to cancel the direct debit with your bank at least 4 working days before payment is due. Negative experience: Very poor air conditioning. Makes it very uncomfortable working out, even doing weights not cardio. Usually better in other Puregyms!

Positive experience: There are pros and cons it's alright, but the showers were cold, a lot of the equipment has changed since it opened and a lack of cleaning stations. Felt like the place has gone downhill since it has opened. Not so new anymore the removal of the cleaning stations is a deal breaker for me.

Positive experience: Equipment is great. Shower water temp is just teppid.

We want to provide our members a safe space in which they can get a great workout in with a broad spread of kit and do so confidently, in a clean and friendly environment. We have recently made slight changes to the water temperature, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. Our showers are now set at a temperature of 33oC and have a flow rate of 5 litres per minute. These parameters are regularly monitored and we also have regular checks carried out on boilers and associated equipment to ensure the units are operating as they should be across all of our gyms. On occasion, we can get faults on our water system which is normal. When this happens, there is a process in place to ensure we arrange for our contractors to attend, investigate and resolve the faults and return the systems back to full working order within a timely manner. All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes. Positive experience: Not bad. I’d you’re expecting a fanats if fun with a heated tub, sauna, swimming pool and all that you can forget it’s a 24 hour gym which means these facilities are not allowed. I preferred LA fitness as gym before Puregym took the over and renovated the high meant getting rid of the pool, steam room etc but I guess you can’t have everything. The best thing is the No contract for me. The 24/7 is also good but I’m not entirely sure how safe that is for customers. I often see people on weights on their own at the early hours of the morning and if there no one around to assist them. I’m not sure how they got away with 24/7 but they did. I believe the he cleaners are trainee up in health and safety. To what extent I have no idea. Th wise part of the fun is the lack of things like tissues and cleaners for equipment. I doubt the machines are ever cleaned but I’d love to know. M issue is because there is often a lack of cleaning products around to wipe stuff, it’s not the most hygienic gym. Men are also quite disgusting when I visit. Often picking their nose and then touching equipment. It’s very off putting The biggest complaint I have though is the he men in machines and use of mobile phones but I doubt this issue is pure gym alone. Too many people use machines as a long for using their phones and I have to always ask them if they are using the machines I want to use. This is always last resort as I use other machines and then come back maybe half an hour later and they are still there. If Puregym could Notify customers about this it would improve my experience as I realise people are addicted to their phone. It’s very sad they are working out just their thumbs. Pros 24/7 Good web site Can freeze a month or more. Poor membership free. Mine is £6.99 extra No contract Good variety of machines Classes available Vending machines available Lockers Massage machines often available Not very hygienic compared to some other gyms Cleaning products to wipe down equipment is not always available Health and safety issues. The gym might be covered by the contract you sign but injuries must be happening as no one supervising They repair of broken machines is reasonable I guess Cons Can be expensive for what you get. La fitness was same price but you got extra facilities as wasn’t 24/7 No access to other gyms depending on membership you choose and need to you pay extra but it costs them nothing None of the facilities like sauna, swimming, hot tub No punching bags No space to skip when gym is really busy Limited access to toilette area after a certain time don’t lock your bag in a toilette locker with car keys, etc as you might be stuck Not the best clientele but depends on area Members system could be better. If being abused they put the price up which is what has happened North Finchley gym has no parking but that’s not their fault but mentioning for awareness

Positive experience: Great gym with friendly staff. But it's been 2 weeks and the lift still isn't fixed making it difficult for some and impossible for others to use half the gym.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, very clean and full of great equipment. The classes seem great and they provide the equipment. The atmosphere is really positive and the people are welcoming. I’m usually very nervous going to a gym but there are all sorts of ages shapes and sizes and nobody is judging you, would recommend

Positive experience: Pretty small gym really!! Gets absolutely rammed so I go very early to avoid this .. The main issue is the heat there … not sure why but it’s around 30 degrees inside which makes it horrible !!! Please please can you turn up the aircon etc there is 0 airflow

Fantastic experience: Buzzing for this to open yate has needed a decent 24 hr gym for ages I used to use barrow road and Brislington but left because it wasn't near work anymore when you say spring is there a chance of being open any earlier?

Negative experience: The gym that no-one in Yate wants. Greedy landlord Cushman & Wakefield have cancelled the lease respected Little Giggles children's play centre who cater for kids with special educational needs. @puregym should think about the negative impact this will have on the local and wider community and abandon their plans. Cushman & Wakefield are a disgrace
