Fantastic experience: I’ve been with this gym since 2016 and I haven’t changed since. It might be small in comparison to others but I wouldn’t change it for the world. That fact it is 24hrs is the best thing about it and the early community we have there makes it all that better. The staff are extremely responsive and helpful. Never take it away from me.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym Experience! I recently joined Anytime Fitness in Enfield and I must say it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly professional staff, which immediately made me feel welcomed. The gym is little in comparison to other gyms but very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Not the best anytime fitness gym. I would say it is the oldest looking AF gym I visited but it is the once closest to me. Some gym equipment is lacking, but overall, the members and employees are polite and the gym is kept clean. Please not that this gym has no lockers

Bogdan, the manager of the gym, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition to his managerial duties, Bogdan is also a personal trainer at the gym. In the last few months of personal training sessions, I have seen a huge improvement in my overall fitness. He creates workout plans according to what you want to work on and pushes you to do your best, he makes the workouts fun and makes you achieve exercise’s you never thought you could do. His knowledge and experience in the fitness industry shines through in every workout, making each session challenging yet enjoyable. Thanks to Bogdan's dedicated efforts as both a manager and personal trainer, I have been able to tone up and make noticeable progress in my fitness journey. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive environment.

Positive experience: Pleaseeeeeeeee can you move that speaker from above the stepper?? It’s very hard to use that stepper while there is loud music on top off your head!!! It gives me a headache .. I can’t even listen to my own music :(. So, if them speaker can be moved else where that would be great! Other than that good gym to go too!

Negative experience: I was a member for 5 months in this gym, everything was ok but I got a knee injury , i had to do x ray and i had to cancel membership but i got charged the next month because i was told by staff is company policy , but i don’t see it fair to pay for something im not gonna be able to attend and not getting an explanation why is this policy like this for what reason , their only answer was we can’t refund but you can use the gym until end of the month

Fantastic experience: What a great gym! I am currently a member of this gym and find it perfect as it’s got all the equipment I need to get a good workout in. Once you join you will get given a key fob which you can use anytime (gym is 24hours). This is perfect sometimes I don’t finish work till 12pm which means I can train at 1am!

Negative experience: The air con is never on in a packed gym this is makes it unbearable to work out in I do not know any gym which has there air con off very annoyed as this has been consistently a issue.

Negative experience: i have had a membership with this gym for more than a year now took a break from the gym because i got sick from the ac and how cold the gym was everyone in the gym complains about how cold is but there’s nothing done about it.

Negative experience: Been to this gym a few times and thinking to sign up but the gym was f freezing cold I asked the manager bogdan about it and he told me he can’t do anything about it and he said anytime fitness if greedy and they don’t let him change the tempature if a manager is able to speak like this about a company he’s working for then there is no point of me joining this gym

Negative experience: Bad experience did a free trial and was very cold in the gym I got sick and didn’t stay 10 Minutes in the gym.

Fantastic experience: Never really thought about leaving reviews… maybe it’s my generation of just ‘turning up’ and seeing how it is. However, something led me onto a Google search and the reviews for the gym and noticed a couple of bad reviews. As a trusted member for about a year I’m considered one of the ‘loud ones’ and have got to know at least 98% of the members by name basis and have regular chats, whilst we’re hard at training of course! With this in mind please allow me to set the record straight with both positive and negative feedback from me and on behalf of the other members…. The gym is kept very clean every day, equipment is up to date and exactly where it should be. Obviously (and I’m guilty of this) we use plates then put them down wherever is easier… it’s then you’ll see one of the staff members place it back to where it should be. The gym as whole has a friendly atmosphere and everyone is at hand to lend a spot, offer advice or a helping hand where needed. Staff members are nothing short of amazing… I have to say a special amazing to Bogdan the manager. When he’s not giving out some of his expert advice (coming from a kick-boxing background) to how a rep should be done correctly, you’ll regularly see him putting plates away in the right place, outside in the cold touting for business, doing his computer work in the office, man, you’ll even see him checking shower rooms and the gym floor! Of course the other staff members do their part but I’d say Bogdan is at the heart of it all. I’d go as far as to say Anytime Fitness owe him as he’s a real credit to the company. Negatives……. Music!! God awful, it’s the same playlist you’ll hear over and over again and none of it is music you can train to. In fact it’s a playlist I can only describe as something blaring out a 14 year old schoolgirls bedroom. It’s uninspiring to say the least. Walk into any gym anywhere in the world and you’ll hear deep/funky/disco house music pumping and people training hard to it. What you’ll get at Anytime Fitness is everyone training with pods in their ears because they can’t train to the dross being played. So there you have it, the honest negatives and positives. All in all everything is positive except the one negative which is music…. If you can call it that!

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness back with a bang after Covid! Shout out to Bogdan, always making sure the gym is on point and a welcome environment. The equipment is up to date and always clean, and the service is excellent with everything being done promptly.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym last year and my experience within this gym has been so amazing, theres multiple equipments for every muscle group and the hygiene of every equipment is always clean, the owners and workers of the gym are very attentive to all gym goers needs and concerns, is a gym that suits everyones needs (Time and Money). Negative experience: Word of warning, the owners of this franchise also owned the Ilford branch, for the last few months they let that gym deteriorate (broken machines, no AC, ripped benches, removal of equipment for 'servicing') and today we received an email advising that they had closed that branch down with immediate effect - no prior notice given and no consideration towards long serving members, disgusting way to treat your customers!

Negative experience: Been told that I didnt pay 3 months of membership via email.Proved I paid one of them and told them that the other months the gym was closed for lockdown so I shouldnt be paying as promised.They haven't responded 1 week after multiple email and phone calls.I have also tried to cancel my membership because I move out but they wont do it.Seeing all the five star was really questioning after that but I saw a post where they would give free protein milkshake for 5 star reviews so I see how it happened.I recommended pure gym,my friend has been there its about the same price,they wont promise you anything they wont do,they wont overcharge you and you can cancel easily.

Negative experience: The Manager Mandy is rude and unprofessional this gym are charging members whilst they are closed. Expect further complaints.

Negative experience: This gym have been acting in bad faith, they are charging customers when the gym is shut due to Lockdown. They are a nightmare to get hold of, the manager Mandy is awful. Every other gym chain has stopped payments but this gym is still charging customers. Report them guys and make sure they return your money!!!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyable!

Negative experience: When gyms were closed in March during lockdown, I went on their website to see my options. I could not get through to the office number and no email address was provided. There was a message confirming that all members would be contacted to discuss their membership options however I was not contacted. I completed their website enquiry form to confirm that I would be terminating my membership and cancelled my direct debit. I continue to receive messages saying my membership is in arrears even though my account was balanced at the time I cancelled. I've tried to give them notice several times however it has not been processed. I filled out the enquiry form on their website again in September to confirm my cancellation however when I called their Enfield franchise on 18 September, I was advised that my message had not been received. I was advised to email them as I could not cancel on the phone. I sent two emails on 19 September however these emails were ignored. I've even tried to fill out the cancellation request form on their website but it did not recognise me as a member. It has been pretty much impossible to contact them over the past few months to confirm notice of my cancellation and I continue to get texts saying my account is in arrears. The communication is poor and your messages frequently get lost. I've been running around in circles trying to communicate a simple message.

Negative experience: This is how they are getting their 5 star reviews. It's the only way anyway. The worst gym in the whole country. It's the only way anyway. Stay away, it's always dirty and they are chasing you for payments while their gym was shut down!!!! Go to pure gym down the road and save yourselves.

Negative experience: I see the reply from the owner now let's get factual about his replies .After countless recorded and logged calls to the gym ,and countless harassing texts from differing texts,which are numbers that dont accept calls ,failure of the gym to cancel ..lets see who is lying ive the records ,so why no response and why have u failed to contact me ,you or your staff ?.You threaten with debt collection .I suggest anyone has similar problems to contact trading standards.and keep records of your dealings.

Negative experience: I stopped going to this gym five months before my membership expired. There were two new managers during which time, buckets frequented the floor to catch the drips leaking from the flats above and they charged me after my 12 month contract had expired. Apart from that, everything else was pretty good. Staff were helpful whilst you were there.

Negative experience: Awful gym been here for two years and its deteriorated drastically. Toilet skins about to fall off, showers are not clean and the shower doors don’t close. There is mould at certain areas of the gym. Do not sign up.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and a good selection of machines and equipment. Open 24 hours which is good. Biggest let down is the lack of dedicated changing rooms. Toilets and showering facilities are rather poor and dirty. Equipment cleaning sprays, wipes or tissues hardly stocked up they always appears to be out of it.

Positive experience: Good gym only criticism is that the machines are more updated at the freshwaters road one in chadwell heath apart from that all good not busy at all and you dont have to wait to get in machines

Negative experience: I have not attended this gym since 2017, and they confirmed on more than one occasion via phone and email my membership was cancelled. However, 2 years later I am still receiving emails that payments are going out via DD. This is totally unacceptable and fraudulent!!!

Positive experience: Anytime Fitness Enfield - Fitness for Purpose I like to visit different branches of Anytime Fitness for the thrill of a new environment. I happen to like the Enfield branch as there is a good range of equipment - including punch and kick bags! With a key fob, you have access 24/7! The cost of membership is £35, which isn't too bad. Getting back in shape has saved My Life! The atmosphere at the Enfield branch is quite chilled. Occasionally, you get people sneaking in their friends in illegally and that can spoil the atmosphere somewhat. Fortunately, that kind of thing doesn't happen too often. Somewhat annoyingly, you get members that give unsolicited advice. Other than that, one can get to the equipment fairly easily. Another gripe is that the TV signal isn't present in all the treadmills and cycles. It's annoying when you wanna catch up on what's happening via the TV when working out. Still, I can't say I've noticed broken-down equipment when I've been there. The weights area is stocked up well. There's a good balance between free weights and weight machines. The staff are fairly friendly. Although there are antibacterial sprays, you just might wanna bring your own as sometimes they run out. The toilets and shower rooms are mostly clean. Again, because it's 24/7 you can pick a time when it's not so busy, and it's like being in an empty shop! It's great! Well, that's My review. I hope you found it helpful. Blue Bear Gene
