Fantastic experience: Great gym and friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Everlast gym is great. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Everything seems to be cleaned regularly. It feels very open and welcoming with lots of machines and workout areas and plenty of classes to attend also. The swimming pool and steam room are great. No glitz and glam, what you see is what you get.the pool is all one continuous depth. The pool does have selected hours for bringing children along with you to swim as well as lessons available. Great place to start or enhance your fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: Everlast gym is one of the best gyms that I have attended. Staff are very friendly, helpful and encouraging. It has a very positive atmosphere and it promotes healthy competition amongst gym goers too. Cant complain with the facilities. I occasionally use the pool and sauna but even the sauna is not working sometimes due to issues, it does not put me off going. Group classes are .

Negative experience: Went once on a free day pass just to try it. Had to fill in details of course name number etc, i get it, health and safety, but what I did not appreciate was the ENDLESS spam texts, calls and emails from everlast i received after. i opted out of emails and blocked the original number that called me, however the texts would not stop. i searched how to stop the texts on the everlast website and it says ‘just simply text (number) to opt out of calls’ with NO mention of a charge, i do so, given i have tried to block the texts and there is no option to opt out and they’re very annoying spam. Given i didn’t even like the gym in the first place, found it to be so loud even through my headphones at full volume, members were rude and left all machines loaded with zero gym etiquette, the machines are so tightly packed at the back of the gym with little space, about 3 benches crammed in total and the rest of the gym is essentially a cardio zoo, the absolute audacity was astounding when i received a CHARGE of £3.41 just to simply STOP the texts from coming, which again, was not advertised at all on everlast website. everlast gave the impression it was free. A complete and utter scam, appalled, do not go unless you want to be harassed with calls texts and emails you will have to pay to not receive.

Fantastic experience: I feel at my happiest when I'm in the pool here... I love the treadmills too and the general feel of the place.. the staff are always helpful and friendly and take time out to encourage, support and guide. As an older gym member, I always feel positive when coming because of the community feel..and comments above about the staff.. seeing the staff engaging in positive relationships also follows through with the members. It's a clean and tidy gym and the pool is always a very high standard for my Mike swims. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I love everything about this place tbh :) The staff are such a laugh on top of being super knowledgeable, each one of them is a pro at their specialty! They take the time out to get to know the members & their needs/abilities. It has pretty much everything you need as far as equipment/weights. The classes are awesome if you want to find out what you’re truly made of. Always good vibes in there, I can’t wait for the addition of more of them! I don’t use the pool enough honestly, but when i have been in there I’ve had 0 complaints. Best gym in Lincoln by far x

Negative experience: Went on a trial day and wasn't impressed. Venue is lovely if only a bit dark, music is RNB on loop which maybe pleasant to some. Sauna not functioning (and were told by another displeased guest that this had been the case for some time now). Worth £35 a month?

Negative experience: I travelled down the country so I visit a lot of Everlast Gyms along the way and I can say hands down the Lincoln one is the Most embarrassing of them all Let’s start with the staff rude unhelpful lack quality in their job skills Now the equipment out of date after the Refurbishment from DW kept all the same equipment just a Lick of paint Now let’s talk about cost as it’s not a budget Gym at £35 a month with no blue roll available To clean equipment down soap shower gel conditioner in the showers and £1.50 for a cardboard cup is ridiculous I have been training at DW Everlast for 18 years. It won’t be 19.

Negative experience: Tried to enter the gym at 15:20 knowing full well that on a bank holiday it shuts at 4pm so was only planning on a little quick session. But as i got there i got refused due to being 5 mins later that the last entry time that is 3:15 which is outrageous. If the gym was busy at that time i get it but it was dead and barely anyone in there. I think they she look into either making it stay open later or let you in whenever regarding the time knowing full well that it shuts at 4 and i will be leaving before that . My only complaint

Positive experience: Great Gym facilities, pool and food selection of weights. Be warned that you will struggle to find equipment between 5-6pm as peak hours. Very loud also but not personally huge issue.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Very tidy, almost new, all equipment in a working order. No bad smell, at shower there are shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, good quality. Perfect customer service, reception staff very customer friendly. Many thanks to Danny who made my day and helped me to make a decision for membership! Keep going!

Negative experience: Father In Law on £25 a month, mother in law on £30 pound a month, girl friend on £30 a pound a month, I'm on £35 a month, all have same facilities, questioned it and got nowhere, jacuzzi loss a big shame, music far to loud, can't get on equipment and no cleaning stations, took it up with manager and head office, got fobbed off. Whole family moving to a different a gym when contracts end, how is it fair that people pay different prices for same gym. Real shame was willing to compromise to make it fair but they was not interested. Got a year out of us all but will not repeat. Looking at previous views we are not the only ones, would take a look at other reviews on here before entering into another contract as reviews speak volumes. Would recommend posting on trust pilot aswel if you have had no joy sorting it out amicably. Thanks Pete and family

Negative experience: FAR too many people at a time in the gym

Positive experience: Since the refurbishment it'slije workinv out in a night club!!! It's dark an the music so far too loud. If you don't like what they are playing (which I don't cos I'm over 15!) you have to turn the volume up on your own ear pods so high that it will probably damage your ear drums!!! However that aside the equipment is all pretty good and the staff friendly. It's not too expensive. Cleaning stations would be nice and I wish the other blokes in the changing room would learn to dry themselves properly when they come out the shower instead of just dripping all over the changing room floor so the rest of us get wet feet!!!! It's what you teach your kids from age 5, but still some of these muscle bond morons can't work it out!!!

Positive experience: Good looking gym but always packed up in the afternoon until late night hours, only 1 flat bench is not good enough, no matter what time you coming you have to wait for it sometimes far to long ..... no butterfly machine it's a real loss I'm really surprised about this one. They spent fortune for refurbishment but missed one of the main machines at the gyms these days.....

Negative experience: Too busy and wasn't able to cancel membership

Negative experience: I been trying to get into spin classes all the time , every time I look nothing available, morning, evening , weekend its very frustrating . I am permanently on a waiting list. There needs to be more spin classes available. Would be good if there were more variety in the other classes, there just isn't enough choice. When I do look they are also booked up as well. Shame there isn't other available fitness, like dance fitness, bounce trampolines etc. When your tied into a contract and you can't use it properly your not really getting the most out of it either.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Lincoln, would recommend to all. The atmosphere is elite and you will be surrounded by lots of kind and wealthy individuals. Yes it may be expensive but it is worth it and you will not regret your time here. ❤️

Positive experience: Newly modernised gym , lots of friendly staff and some great classes to choose from. Nice warm swimming pool and the place is really clean . Real mixture of ages and levels which is a real positive as well

Positive experience: Had a Sunday morning session with my Lad who is a member. Great no pressure workout on good clean well mantained equipment. Enjoyed the steam room and swimming pool afterwards.

Positive experience: I'm really new to going to the gym and only started a few weeks ago. I've been enjoying it I like how it's set out I like the changing rooms. Not overly keen on the pool last time I went swimming there was young people messing about splashing each other when I was trying to swim rather annoying. But on the whole I really like it

Fantastic experience: I have recently had my leg amputated and was looking for a safe place to go swimming and I gave it a try the staff are very very helpful and attentive they really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and safe i would definitely recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Nice, modern and clean

Negative experience: Find a different gym which is actually supportive to people's health. Ironic how they post about how the gym promotes wellbeing. While they are currently charging me money for freezing my account (due to medical reasons) despite being given evidence. But also wanting to charge me for a month's membership because I need to cancel due to the medical issues because they have failed to 1. inform clients of the changes to the gym classes before or even during the 'elevation' and 2. have not replaced those services which I signed up for. I cannot attend the new, high intensity work outs for medical reasons (which I have also evidenced to them), yet I am being penalised for changes to the gym that make it unusable for me. I am now in the process of lodging a formal complaint before forwarding this issue to the Ombudsman services.

Negative experience: It's so dark, and the treadmills are facing the cross trainers so awkward it was much better facing the window and being nosey it past the time and gave us natural daylight

Negative experience: I am totally not happy with that club. They charged me for March, but closed swimming pool and jaccuzi around 7 th of March and reopen around end of April and didn't send me email about re opening. So from 10th of March to end of April I didn't come to club. They told me that gym was close from 20 of March for 4 weeks, but I have never used gym in that club, only swimming pool. I am very disapointed. I was only once to swim and once for Zumba in March and I was charged for that full month. Joke! And Ethan wished me a lovely day. What a sarcasm!!! Another thing - I joined here because of Zumba and jaccuzi and they finished with thatAnd I have to pay for another months???I will never back here and refund me money for March!!!I will send you to the Court! I feel scammed by you!

Negative experience: Went for the first time since refit. Unfortunatly no Jacuzzi anymore, and freelance classes have been stopped only in house trainers are being used fir classes . Aimed at the younger generation loud music and bright lighting with spotlights cleanliness of changing rooms left a lot to be desired.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Lincoln!! The recent elevation is incredible, it looks so good and the equipment has improved so much! All of the classes offered are intense but so rewarding, the studios for them are very cool! The staff here are super friendly and make you feel very welcomed; the PTs are very knowledgable and helpful, pushing you to what they know you can achieve. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a gym, it’s a very positive environment! Amazing for students too!! Loveee

Fantastic experience: Been at the gym since October 22 and loved it, then the elevation came and WOW! Everything you could want and more! And not to mention the amazing staff <3 would recommend for students especially!

Fantastic experience: Lovely refurb and new features - the staff are lovely and helpful and the gym looks fantastic! Pool is quieter too now the jacuzzi has gone, which is a bonus for me. Also the new smoothie bar is fantastic- had one today and it was delicious and 35g protein!

Fantastic experience: Came to Everlast for the first time today since the refurb. All of the new equipment is superb and the I cannot fault the cleanliness of the entire gym. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this gym enough!!

It’s an amazing gym for anyone from beginner to intermediate with a clean and well maintained facility!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Love the refurb. The music, lights and vibe is amazing. I tried the new boxing class and the instructor was really motivating. I also tried one of the new protein smoothies from the bar and staff were really helpful in talking to me about which one would be best for me. Definitely the now the best gym in Lincoln, you would be mad to try anywhere else

Positive experience: Recently been revamped which it needed. A lot of equipment now but when busy you will feel definitely crowded. Lockers are nice and the showers are good, you can change the temp and it has shampoo, conditioner and body wash available.

Positive experience: Everlast gym Lincoln has the best combination of haymaker, hustle and crank classes. A new class BREATHE has been added. It's more like a yoga class and very good for the core. Highly recommended. It's quite a good and affordable price for a gym with a large pool and sauna. Management needs to find a solution to the smelly toilet situation asap... It's disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I've just started the gym a few months back, and this gym has everything, they even have a pool. The equipment is really good and this place is so clean. Deff worth the money not to expensive and you get alot. Definitely recommend this gym for everyone who's looking for a quality gym for a good price. And if your interested in swimming aswell thn that's just a bonus. The place is huge. Only thing j wish for is that he would be open longer maybe even make it jnto a gym that's open 24/7 but that's just a personal preference. go have a look and see for yourself

Fantastic experience: Really friendly gym love the classes

Positive experience: Refurbishment is five steps forwards, two step back. A lot of new machines. New cardio sections. Except for the part where that they've removed the dips bars that everyone was using, leaving the old, sticky, borderline disgusting weight assisted dips/pull-ups machine that's needlessly limiting. Also, the equipment bag is gone now, so if you forget your own pads, need a step ladder or anything else, can't do. Such a weird thing to remove. Was essential to more niche variations or exercises. First week of opening was plenty of room, hopefully won't be too busy like back before the refurb, can see possible lines waiting for benches in the free weights section, saw only 4. Even 5 would still not be that many. Jacuzzi is gone, but that's of no real loss, was out of order more than it was turned on. Changing room is a bit better now, shame lockers have gotten a tad bit smaller compared to the old 2 shelve ones. THE BEST upgrade however is the showers. FINALLY we are able to adjust the temperatures that we want. This is a crux in many gym's that make showering a hassle, always tuned to the point where I feel like I'm burning up. Also comes with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Great decision and worth it. Probably will disproportionately convince me to keep my membership.

Positive experience: Good gym. Plenty of equipment. Swimming pool is good if a bit cool just have to get timings right to avoid it being too busy. Have done a couple of classes which have also been good.

Positive experience: Love this gym been going to it for years, but why are the opening hours so poor? Especially on the weekend? In the week there are many people who start shifts at 6 or 7 o’clock typically meaning 6am opening time is obviously too late to go before work if you want to actually make it worth going. And on the weekend why do the hours have to be shortened? The time most people are free on the weekend is surely the evening which is when the gym is closed? I don’t get it

Positive experience: Went in today for a swim, steam room and relax in the jacuzzi. Pool was too cold to swim in and apparently they're removing the jacuzzi in a couple of months - is this due to increased energy prices? Not nearly as relaxing an experience as I'd hoped for.

Negative experience: Gym itself is not bad. 2 stars as me and wife signed up so we can take kids 2 times a months for swimming free - so we have been told at Lincoln gym but now it is no longer the case, we have to pay 5 pounds extra each time per kid as I was told today.

Negative experience: Decent price. Stayed for around 4 years. Slowly declined. Ran largely by kids joking around all the time and doing little else. Music way too loud so you can’t enjoy your own music, changing room unclean most of the time and always hot with no air con. Really lost its way but used to be better.

Negative experience: + £30 a month (2022) almost half the price of Total Fitness + generally clean and plenty of parking + plenty of cardio machines + swimming pool at this price + Big steam room - Gym Equipment is very dated (but mostly works) - No TV on screens just repetitive adverts and odd music videos - Music so loud it overpowers in ear headphones (everywhere in gym) - massively oversubscribed classes - jacuzzi is small and rarely works I rejoined this place because my work location changed. They promised imminent complete refurb of equipment (and painted a wall). Since I’ve been there they increased the loudness of the music and when I complained said it was company policy. Positively it’s now not as crowded as I presume those who were transferred, when other local gyms in the chain closed, voted with their feet? Turn the freaking music down and put actual TV back on the TV and I might stay. If not I will happily pay more and leave this place to the teenage customer base it aspires to (old guys rule!).

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve been to in Lincoln. Recently moved away from the area but the gym has been awesome to me over the 2 years I was a member and if I could go back to train I would. Their staff members are exceptional (noting the excellent customer service by their staff member Chelsea), the equipment fantastic and overall vibe is great! I had nothing but good experiences. I would definitely recommend Everlast to my friends and already had a few sign up through my recommendation!

Negative experience: They need to do something about the music here. It's awful, too loud to the point you can hear over your own headphones. It certainly doesn't need to be piped into the changing room and toilet. You can't get away from it, even when swimming. Please sort this as it's not a pleasant experience.

Positive experience: Very Equipped gym although quite cramped and tight for space between machines and people. , Steam room, pool , jacuzzi have a 50% chance of being out of order at any given time. friendly staff behind the front desk.

Negative experience: Can't cancel membership over the phone, and have to give 3 months notice.

Positive experience: Not bad equipment could do with more on the body building side bt hey is what it is f the price gets busy evening time bt with everthing else closing down there's not much choice for your bucks

Negative experience: Terrible gym & customer service. My girlfriend gave them two separate bank details to take payment via direct debit only to be told she cancelled when she didn't at all! Has been in numerous times to try resolve the matter just to be mugged off. So now she has been charged an extra £20 for doing nothing wrong and can't attend the gym until they take payment! They have two separate accounts n still haven't done anything to take any payment. I attended the gym a while back. Its small and overcrowded most times of the day and the equipment isn't upto par with other gyms in the area.

Positive experience: Been a member for nearly 6 months. At the beginning I'd give it five stars but now unfortunately it's too busy due to the other Sports Direct Gym closing down. I've tried coming at various times of the day but always find myself now waiting for equipment. Also the steam room and jacuzzi are frequently out of order.

Negative experience: I haven't been a member here for long and I don't intend to be either! I have been 4-5 times now and every single time I have had to queue for a treadmill and a cross trainer. I don't even attempt to use the exercise area as it is always rammed!! You might think we will go do a class instead but not here! It is always fully booked for everything! Oh ok we'll have a swim then.....nope 30 people already crammed in that little pool and then throw in a kids swimming lessons at the same time! Brilliant, loads of screaming kids while trying work out. I hear you...use the jacuzzi instead, nope thats out of action too....with 4000 on the books from closing the other 2 gyms this place is over full, over booked and has no where near enough equipment or space! I would definitely recommend joining some other gym!!
