Fantastic experience: The gym was nice for me but its closed now does anyone knows when its going to ipen back please answer

Positive experience: Just to update: gym is now permanently closed. The gym was not able to reopen following closure by the landlord. A shame as it was the closest gym which made it super convenient. Place was getting a makeover aswell prior to closure.

Negative experience: Gym has shut and still being debited, I have no point of contact since the gym is shut. What do I do? Head office won’t reply, anytime fitness on Instagram have said they can’t deal with this over social media and told me to go talk to somebody at my gym (which is shut, so I obviously cannot do this). If I cancel through my bank account, they will start send my name to debt collection as they have done to other people. Does anyone know what I can do?

Negative experience: Not a bad gym however you’ll see a ridiculous amount of staff turnover. This is a franchise so really counts who is invested in this particular site. They don’t care about members just sales once you are in a contract that’s it. As you can see here they won’t even notify you if the building is repossessed will just print an A4 sign with a bit of tape no information online or email. We are not in the 1940s and they are quick to take your information to sign you up but not as quick to send you a curiosity message.

Negative experience: Gym is closed due to financial issues Landlord is negotiating a new financial amount with them to reopen no deal struck yet it’s a bit like the football transfer market.. the only issue is the current loyal members are still being Charged their direct debit whilst the gym is closed, told to go to other AF but distance is a issue Will it open again or is this the end time will tell… Crazy times!

Negative experience: This gym was closed today 03/08/2023 as the shutters were down with a notice attached stating a forecluresure of premises by order of a law firm. Anytime fitness chadwell heath staff have NO prior warning for this and as paying customers I demand to know what is going on. ANYTIME FITNESS please reply

Negative experience: I've always tolerated this gym because of its close location to me. But I turned up today, and it's shuttered with no information This is the second AF gym I've been to that has shut down with no warning

Fantastic experience: The recent refurb is awesome, always clean, and well maintained equipment. Good environment and friendly too. Never to full where you have to wait for an exercise. Keep it up

Negative experience: The worst gym ever! It’s absolutely disgusting from the toilets, lockers and the gym itself! The staff are appalling and have zero respect. Honestly I have been to third world countries with better standard for hygiene than this gym. It’s amazing that they are able to even operate.

Negative experience: their staff dont know any rules,when i joined in the gym they clearly said i can cancel the membership.when i spoke with them to cancel its mandatory to tell the procedure for cancelling but they didnt told me nothing and ask me proof when i spoken with the staff and i said date ,there saying sorry in the office they dont have any cameras ,is that way they talk with coustomers and taken 2 months extra money,even though i said to cancel membership.

Negative experience: Disgusting gym!!! Stay away on all cost!!! Been contacted after 3 years of cancelling membership due to the Covid lockdown that I own cancellation fee of 35 pounds. In the situation I did cancel my direct debit because my contract had month left to run out and didn’t want to pay for services they couldn’t provide . They carried taking direct debit payment from me even when their were closed . Tried to contact them but no answer due to the pandemic .I didn’t want to Cary in paying for God knows how many months till they reopen so I cancelled the payment . They never gave me the money back for the time been closed and still charging me and now they are sending me to debt collector for cancellation fee . Avoid on all cost !!!!!

Positive experience: Decent enough local gym I generally feel they do need a massive upgrade especially with gyms that’s coming up like the newly Romford Anytime fitness, Golds Gym which is always recommended to me. I’m loyal as I can be to this gym no one puts the weights back and really and truly they need a rapid uplifting it’s like a morgue. Krisia, T and Cassie are missed they were great staff members.

Negative experience: Rude staff, Unhygenic and dirty . I joined used that gym around 3 months and I am very comfortable for rating this gym as one of the worse gyms in this area. I wish I can rate it below one star for bad customer service and rude staff. It is a very dirty and unhygienic gym. With no soups and hand washes in the bathrooms. No cleanliness in the gym and less equipment. If one machine is out of order it will remain out of order for the next few months.

Negative experience: The gym is always dirty, no soap or disinfectant wipes. Most of the time you need to clear your own space before being able to do anything. Theres a girls only section, but it doesnt have much equipment and half of the time guys just take it in the main area. And there's an awful drain like smell in there

Negative experience: Worst gym experience to date. Put membership on hold for 3 months because I had a life threatening attack on my health. Sent management doctors notes over to prove this In that time incurred 116 pounds for not having a direct debit set up. Had the cheek to then pass my details on to debt collectors. No compassion. Couldn't care less, just after your money. The owner can't remember his name now but I do remember a book he wrote called "Be the man" couldn't be the man and call me or ensure his gym is run properly though. Constant emails telling me to pay no one told me when membership frozen would incure additional fee etc completely unprofessional staff. One class a week, lockers don't work, no hands soap while was there. What else is there to say. Stay away from this place!!!!

Fantastic experience: Been a member at this gym for around a year now and it’s the perfect spot for me. I’ve tried other gyms locally but this gym is up there for me. It is a good size with a wide range of equipment and space available to mix up your workouts. Super friendly and helpful staff too.

Positive experience: Pros: Very quite gym and not as pact as other gyms which allows you to workout in peace. Cons: Double the price of other 24hr gyms.

Negative experience: We have received a lots of message , email and letter about asking money from us until now. We really don't understand why . We have been cancelled our membership since Oct 2020. We did speak to someone of your team and said they will pass it on to head office and will get sorted but looks like not as you guys said. We did pay during first whole lock down period and we understand we need to support our local business. That's why we did pay .Unfortunately there was lots of lock down and we can't effort anymore . Please do the proper way and try not to scam from us. If there is zero star available in google option we will definitely choose that .

Fantastic experience: Love the gym, it's very quiet and has everything you want for any kind of workout. It has a separate "Ladies Only" room, love it.

Negative experience: A lot of 5 stars will be due to the gym offering a monthly discount in exchange for a good review. The whole staff is a joke including the manager and the owner. The place is always quite filthy and lacking basic equipment/accessories. At one point I moved so asked for a refund for my remaining months as agreed in the contract. First they took quite a while to reply. Second the manager refused to accept my docs without giving a reason despite me asking many times. They also can't seem to speak professionally, basic grammar and punctuation seem to allude the staff here. I eventually got HQ involved including the CEO and how the tone changed so quickly, the branch were so eager to help me out after. Months later I get spammed with to re-join and despite me saying I have no intentions, they continued. I ended up raising a SAR to remove my data but this was ignored which is breaking UK law. I needed to quote ICO before I got a response.

Definitely by far the best anytime fitness I’ve visited for a while. Would highly recommend to all. The toilets are always clean and the gym has such a great atmosphere!!

Fantastic experience: I rejoined the gym after a shoulder injury and wanted somewhere closer to home. This place is great. I went down and visited before I joined and the staff were really friendly. The gym has good equipment and you never really have to wait to use equipment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good local gym. Also, they've got some bangers on the playlist!!!

Fantastic experience: Had my membership over five years still as impressed as the first day! Huge variety of equipment and some quiet areas for people who prefer some privacy. Very clean and tidy, lots of cleaning equipment available if you need extra assurance for covid. Free parking is very convenient too. Staff are welcoming and so friendly! Manager Kem is doing a great job here. Very professional gym would 100% recommend!!

Negative experience: A bunch of scammers.i have made a cancellation request 1 year ago because i cant afford to pay anymore, paid off the last month and cancelled my direct debit. after 1 year they've still not cancelled my account and have now passed me on to a Debt Agency. They have not once contacted me to tell me whether they have approved my cancellation or not. last time i spoke to someone they said they will pass it on to the head office and it will get sorted. 2 weeks later i get a letter saying i have been passed on to the Debt Collectors. disappointing. i have not even used their services ever since.

Negative experience: Anytime fitness Chadwell heath is OK I guess not worth the £35. The same thing you're doing in this gym you can do in any other gym etc the gym, pure gym. The reason I'm giving this gym 2 stars is that it's FOREVER DIRTY, equipments are never put back, weights are always left in the wrong place. Imagine cleaning your section wasting time before you start your session. You'll think cause of covid it will be cleaner no no. The tissue on the floor is not hygienic!!!. Hopefully a change will be made cause it's not the first time!!! YES I've contacted the gym few months ago regarding the same situation and nothing was done ?

Fantastic experience: Honestly such an amazing gym im surprised about the 2 negative reviews with the contracts . I have been a member for 3 years and everything is always explained . Clearly the people below do not know English very well and just want to make excuses to cancel there membership . They have 3 month 6 month and 12 month options . I love this gym and the members and staff if you look through the reviews the positives out weigh the negatives by a mile :D

Fantastic experience: Went to this gym for the first time ever today, my usual branch is Hounslow. What automatically gives this gym a 5 star rating is the simple fact that it has a female only room! Like hello, does it get more better than that? Very clean gym and spacious. Friendly staff and doesn’t get too busy. Also free parking. Can’t go wrong here.

Positive experience: Pros and cons like any gym. Huge plus, even at the 9-5 rush hour, not many people in! So getting a good session in isn't a problem. Downside, new members seem to have no respect for cleanliness, reinforcing this would definitely give it a 5 star rating, I'd easily consider it the best gym in the area. Re-racking after using weights etc is an issue for many people, can be quite a state sometimes which is a real shame.. it really is a decent place to train. Long term members are friendly, as are staff. Real good community vibe here

Fantastic experience: Read some bad reviews but tbh I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's quiet so no queuing for equipment and I didn't find the toilets and showers to be unclean as some have suggested. But that's my experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! I had joined 4 different local gyms before joining Anytime Fitness Chadwell Heath and didn't feel comfortable in any of them. I've now been a member here for nearly 3 years and it's still just as fantastic. The staff are wonderful! They're so helpful, take the time to assist you in anything, answer any questions you might have or show you how something works. They're always cheery and welcoming and give everyone a little confidence boost! I have been working with Kem the manager for a little while and he has helped me so much! Not just with losing weight but with feeling confident in myself and with using the gym. All the members are lovely too, there's never any judgement, anyone will help you out and everyone always feels so welcoming. The gym itself is really well equipped, they have a brilliant ladies only area with all you could need if you don't want to work out in the main gym. It's always clean, private showers are great and there's lots of cleaning supplies available to clean machines and areas yourself before and after use. It really is the best gym around here!
