Negative experience: joined online, a year upfront. couldn't get in with the supplied pin in the early hours and was locked up, went back during 'staffed' hours and no answer from the front door, phoned a dozen times and left a voicemail and no answer or call back. AVOID!! hoping I can stop them taking the payment. update... they get debt collectors involved rather than call back or get in touch....disgusting

Negative experience: ******SHOCKING UPDATE After Jamie Connell cancelled my membership, I am now getting emails demanding payment for a membership I cannot use!, what a bunch of thieves! ***** *** Because of my review, my membership was cancelled!. Considering we put up with cold showers for three months. Seems they cannot take criticism. The gents lockers are disgusting. Caim to be cheapest gym in the area, NOT true. "The Gym" Northampton is £2 a month cheaper, including classes, and Cardio kit.*** **UPDATE: The showers have been fixed for some time now. Most of the equipment has been replaced, not so good now for aerobic exercise, the weights have taken over. No classes any more. The only aerobic machines to have been kept, seem to be the rowing machines, but they are not in great shape *** The showers seem to be constantly faulty. Avoid until they are fixed.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very polite and helpful. A great gym whether you are using it for just for exercise or your dedicated to working out. Since the renovation there is a decent amount of equipment to suit many different types of people and whatever you are looking to do.

Negative experience: I would give it none if I could!, Not impressed. Really gone downhill. The slamming of weights into the floor on every rep, no respect for equipment, weights just left all over the place, tissues on the floor, people hogging machines for 45 mins+, others just sitting on benches chatting absolutely no consideration. No wonder it’s only £20 a month - think I’ll be cancelling!!!
Negative experience: Just cancelled my membership. Staff are friendly, but have been once since lockdown ended, to find no cleaning equipment to wipe down before or after training, and far too many people in the weights section, making social distancing impossible. Further more, people can run next to each other on treadmills, without 2m distance. It's a covid outbreak waiting to happen. It's a shame though, as that's the only issue I found - beyond no parking, meaning I was having to walk to isolated car parks alone at night

I can assure you that we provide wipes and spray for members to use on the equipment before and after use. This is always available. In regards to the the capacity in the Free Weight, we have marked out the equipment to ensure that Social Distancing is followed as it is one person per each machine/area. Also in regards to the treadmills, we have notices for the treadmills that are out of use due to Social Distancing. The treadmills in use are COVID safe. This has been confirmed by our Head Office. We wouldn't be able to open without their authorisation. With this said, we are always risk assessing when necessary Warmest Regards energie Fitness Team

Negative experience: As I am disabled I cannot use the aparatus there.It is pointless to me as I would be wasting my time and what energy I have to get around in.
Positive experience: Does the job, easy in with everything you need to stay fit. Lots of testosterone -- need to get air conditioner working or condenser. Sometimes music is very loud and wrong beats to workout to. Otherwise friendly staff and great space.

Negative experience: I went into the gym today and it definitely smells in there. Asked around and word is the manager doesn’t like to put on the air con to save money. I abruptly left shortly after.

Negative experience: Good gym but beware they use a debt collecting service to administer their monthly payments. If your late with your payments this company send you a letter and charge for it.

We have always used a Third Party company to take payments on our behalf as this would take a very long time for us to do with the amount of members we have. With the charges applied for missed payments, this is something we don't do. This is the Third Party who add the charges. However we try to help the members avoid charges. Positive experience: Good gym but they NEVER put the air conditioning on. Fit4less? Its the most expensive fit4less compared to others and PLEASE put air con on!!!!!!
