Queen's Leisure Complex: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Great centre and awesome staff
Positive experience: The leisure complex specifically the gym has most of the equipment you would see in much more modern centers. They hold various activities in the sports hall such as pickleball and badminton. Some of the facilities like changing rooms, weights room are out dated and the equipment requires servicing. However there is great parking, good value offers for starting out and is easily accessible for all ages. I’m currently a member and enjoy going here. The staff are helpful & friendly!
Negative experience: Beware. Tried to cancel online and no one got back to me. Cancelled the DD myself. Then all of a sudden they got in touch to state I missed a month and it’s £15 for DD cancelled. Only in contact when they want your money and I work with clients who miss or cancel direct debits as part of my own job. We don’t charge £15 or any fee because an email chasing such doesn’t cost £15 as an “admin fee”. Facilities are under run and practically no contact or sense of community whatsoever. Was going to go back here when I wasn’t busy but will use the better facilities nearby. Pay more for more. Hope £15 was worth it.
Fantastic experience: We teach karate here. Customer service is great and at a good price for hire. Good parking, too.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, quality!
Fantastic experience: I joined this gym to build up strength after Covid. Very handy, never over busy, friendly and relaxed. Machines good and has all equipment etc you might need. Also classes included in membership makes it excellent value. The best thing though is the staff. All friendly and Phill has been super helpful in providing a program to help me achieve my goals. He has great knowledge and has a seemingly inexhaustible supply of patience! Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Really enjoying this gym, tried their free 7days. Nicely updated, has all the equipment and classes I need, friendly and professional.
Fantastic experience: I was awesome, this is the second year I went back to register Great for losing weight and strength
Positive experience: Good facilities and always kept clean with helpful staff. Parking is free but can be difficult at busy times. No air conditioning in changing rooms means it can be hard to cool down after a strenuous workout.
Positive experience: Great instructors for classes
Positive experience: Good service.
Positive experience: Good facilities
Positive experience: Sixties style community centre with gym, CAB office, lift to main hall
Negative experience: This is not a bad gym, if you don't mind half the TV falicities on the exercise machines being defective in some way, for instance the earphone sockets being broken, no paper towel, water fountain half working, and the gym being closed on public holidays.. Remarkably poor service.
Fantastic experience: Hello there from Tenerife. Hope everything is good with you. We're having a lovely time here. Relaxing and not doing much I have to say but it really is lovely that we have time to do that. Anyway, just thought I'd send a wee message to say hello, and as I said, hope everything is good with you. Take care and speak to you soon. Bu-bye
