Positive experience: Very good, clean enough, staff are friendly and not too busy. Nice atmosphere too and a lot better than Hammersmith PG which is gross.

Fantastic experience: Clean, well maintained gym and changing rooms. It’s never been overcrowded when I’ve been in there unlike Hammersmith Palais which is where God sends you if you’re really naughty. There are lots of concept2 ergs in there so a good gym for rowers and they are well situated rather than being shoved awkwardly wherever they’ll fit. There is a TV playing old music videos which is nice when everything starts to hurt. Overall no complaints.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with Enid a while ago. She made fun of how “bad” I was and how slow my times were. A trainer should make everyone feel comfortable regardless of their starting times and skill levels. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and motivated after she she kept saying how slow I was and how out of shape I was and there was a lot to be done. She wasn’t encouraging mainly negative about my skills. Not sure how anyone trains with her and gets results.

Negative experience: I had given the gym a four star review in the past but I am afraid due to the recent lapses in care of the facilities, I am marking it down. The lack of toilet paper coincides with the gym not being manned over the weekend - due to staff cuts to keep running costs down? Whatever it is, it needs to be fixed fast or I am out.

Negative experience: Probably the worst Puregym I've been to. 3/4 showers didn't work, and the one that did had a peg to hang the towel on the opposite side to where the door opens. Limited equipment, and a generally poorly thought out gym overall. Go if you must, but there are better Puregym options.

Fantastic experience: One of the cleanest Pure Gums I’ve visited. Sadly there is limited opening hours, but there are lots of treadmills, weight zone, CrossFit zone, studio. Enough space for demand. 5 starts if compare with other pure gyms in the area.

Negative experience: I visited today and walked out after 5 minutes. This is a poorly thought out gym. PureGym have been getting better in most of their gyms at improving the ratio of cardio to strength equipment. However, this gym seems to have missed the memo. Row after row of unused cardio machines. Meanwhile the free weights area was completely packed. One squat rack in the entire facility too. Make changing room was also out of toilet paper and soap.

Positive experience: Local to me , easy to find a parking spot between 10.00 - 15.00 hrs. Don't overstep the mark, it could cost you £65.00. Equipment usually in good nick , but repairs sometimes take weeks. A good gym for the money we pay. Ample Kit for me.

Fantastic experience: I go here 4 times a week. Tends to be busy after 5 but people are respectful. Classes are good and they are well equipped. There was no hit water for a while but that is solved now.

Negative experience: The gym is very dirty. On almost every machine the weight plates are glue together with dirt and had to use my hands to divide them ( very dangerous). Not enough space for dead lifts and the changing rooms are very dirty, wouldn't shower there.

Negative experience: Joined this gym yesterday so I just came to use the gym at 6.08am the gym is shut The opening hours are advertised at opening 6am Update review. The equipment is poorly maintained. On the weight machines it is nearly impossible to select desired weight as plates stick together

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a couple of years now, and I am more than happy with it. It is very well maintained and looked after. The level of hygiene is also great. Staff is very friendly as well. There is one member of staff,however, who shouts so loud during group training sessions, so it makes my ears bleed Great gym anyway. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Not the best or new machines but they work. Terrible wifi, not fast enough to load Spotify music or YouTube. You’d have to listen to the music the gym has on. There is also leaks from floors about which has gone on for years.

Fantastic experience: Approximately 5 weeks ago I entered pure gym for the first time and was extremely fortunate to meet the assistant manager Dafni whom I found professionally warm, knowledgeable and positively inspirational. I informed her that I had a few female colleagues who would also like to join this gym and that after speaking with her I was in no doubt that she would be an excellent personal trainer for them. Positive experience: Relatively small, but lots of machines. Water fountain (free to use), two vending machines, locker room. You know the basics. But I think they should add an arm wrestling table. I’d bring so many friends.

Negative experience: It is ridiculous to just leave equipment broken for months on end. The bench press (of which there is only one) has been broken since the new year (4 months now) and likely will not be fixed for another 6. Other equipment is also fraying or breaking down. Surely, if your supplier cannot supply you can source from a 3rd party. This is insulting to both the membership and the PT's who have also demanded the equipment be fixed. I hear the management has time to call meetings on gender neutral toilet use, but has no time to put workout equipment in a GYM!? Regardless, there should not just be 1 bench in a large gym. How can you raise membership prices and PT rent with inflation but not be bothered to fix equipment and support your hardworking staff and membership that pay for your business model? If there was a rival in the immediate area, the gym would be finished. Puregym Head office should be ashamed of itself.

Negative experience: There is only one bench press which is broken for the past 2 months. Another machine got broken couple weeks ago and I should say I am really disappointed in the maintenance of the equipment. That made me cancel my membership with pure gym and upgrade to a proper gym.

Positive experience: Been going to this gym since i was 16 and it's always been great. However, the last few months since this new year has felt way more overcrowded and packed than previous years. I understand around new years time there are more people joining which is a good thing as it is always a good thing for people to take their health serious and start working out. However, there are not enough equipment targeted to weight exercises. Two bench presses and three squat racks in a gym that holds 150 people is not enough. There is always plenty of unused space on the 2nd floor by the treadmills (Two rooms) that used to have cables in there. Those have been removed. We only have 3 Cable machines now. The female only section used to house multiple machines for everyone in the gym to use, but now it's locked off for the rest of the gym that are waiting to use machines while girls can get their own part of the gym. There are also alot more people filming their workouts with tripods set up which seems fine but people need to understand that not everyone wants to be filmed in the gym. People go to work out, not be broadcasted on some instagrammers fitness page. 4/5 gym, just a couple of issues.

Negative experience: Recently joined and had troubles already as was using a PIN number a friend gave me. Couldn’t sign up apparently as it was linked. Tonight I’ve tried to come in but my pin didn’t work. Clearly didn’t see the clause of the off-peak membership ( visually impaired and dislexic ) the woman who tried to help was rude and belittling me with snarky comments. I’ve explained this was the very first time I’ve come by myself and travelled about 40 minutes, as a one off exception she could have made a bloody effort.

Fantastic experience: Signed up and had my 1st session today.. really really enjoyed it and the lady that helped me sign up on Friday was really helpful and friendly. Thank you

Negative experience: Raised a complaint due to the lack of weight-focused equipment, general untidiness, and rude attitude of staff. I’ve held memberships at 7 different gyms and this was by far the least equipped for its size - it’s definitely not the gym for you if you’re serious about resistance training! I was offered a full refund and cancellation, which I accepted. 4 months later, not only have I not had my refund but they neglected to cancel my membership and charged me AGAIN! Customer service have ignored my last 6 emails and still owe me £65 in refunds, so let’s see if a public 1-star review sparks them into action…

Fantastic experience: I arrived here last June. Before that, I worked out at the Pure Gym of Orpington. I'll never change it: all the people here are so friendly and the stuffs are also quite good. Abs approved!

Positive experience: Friendly gym with trainers always on hand that are willing to offer help and advise.When the gym is busy there can be a wait and a shortage of some equipment.

Fantastic experience: Nice smallish Puregym, never seemed to be particularly busy over summer though which was great. There's a good range of equipment and all areas including showers and changing rooms were kept clean. There's a great variety of classes - I highly recommend Enid's Legs, Bums and Tums, Ashleigh's Cycle, Ahmed's Pump and Emma's Zumba in particular. Only down side is some of the classes were cancelled as I was the only one booked on! I recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Gym with a lot of room, plenty of equipment and good lockers. The instructors are all amazing, special thanks to "Jo" for a great induction and for giving tips and advice. The gym is clean, well cooled; everything is disinfected and the showers are great. Not too busy around 1600/3PM.

Positive experience: I’m a member for the past 3 years now and at the beginning everything was ok. However, recently it seems like the gym is falling apart, the cable is down for past month now, there is no soap at all in the changing room. Many times already the gym was extremely overcrowded, the gym cannot hold such a large capacity of members with so little space and so little equipment. I hope something will change in the near future.

Fantastic experience: It's clean, all the machines work and defo quiter then 'The Gym' 2 miles up Uxbridge road. Just wish it was 24/7 But still small I want a big gym with everything you can think of and more spacious which a lot of London gyms don't have.

Positive experience: Pros: Overall good budget gym, good availability of equipment and good range of machines. Cons: At peak times - Busy. Couple of testy middle aged guys here who think they are hot sheit after discovering TRT. Also some lads play fighting now and again.

Negative experience: The quietest pure gym I've been to. However its not 24hrs, location feels dodgy and the majority of machines are worn out

Positive experience: Large PureGym about 10 minutes walk from Ealing Common station, 12 minute walk from Acton Town station. If you looking for cardio, this is your place, plenty cardio equipment. If you like free weights, be prepared to wait for benches no matter what time you come. Gym can Seriously benefit from turning some of the empty cross-fir section space into a bit more free weight space.

Negative experience: Went here today to see the gym; first impression is not so good. Still I will go here out of convenience. I waited 5 min outside ringing the bell called the number they display twice but it’s a recording after the recording is over it cuts the line. Apparently there’s only one person working there; and giving a class. The gym looked normal at first, but noticed they are mainly focused on endurance training. The area for weight training looked uninspired and small, during the day the wait for a unit is probably excruciating.

Positive experience: Can't fault this gym. Has everything you need and even in busy times you can get machines. Free weights seemed a bit busy but overall decent. The monthly price and no membership ties are really good. Would recommend

Negative experience: Air conditioning is so poor. When the gym is not busy it's like they turn it off. Cheap cheap cheap you get what you pay for. --------- Still not resolved! I have athsma. 2 of the vents are always closed. the gym smells of weed at times. Benches are not steady for doing weights and too close. People leave dumbles around and no one says anything or puts them back. It's health and safety hazard. Equipments are not very stable. Hence the one star not just the vent. Staff are nice and that's the only 1 star it gets otherwise none would apply. ------- So now spamming me with emails after my visit, ac still doesn't work and when I left a genuine feedback, they did not publish it saying it has sensitive information, but it really didn't. Cancelled membership. Worst gym in existence. Instead of actually actioning the feedback they rather lie about fixing the issue. Can't believe how they are just manipulating their reviews and only publishing positive ones. My feedback response to thier email: I've said it many times to get the ac fixed. False promises 2 of them are always off. And the rest of them are weak. Cancelling membership. Weight left all over the place and people don't puts stuff back, it's unsafe. Staff don't do anything. Worst gym ever. How is that against guidelines. Are you kidding me. Scums

Fantastic experience: Lots of machines and free weights, easy to access and great service overall

Negative experience: I've had my share of good and bad days at the gym. 1- The vending machine was not working properly, someone called Laura helped and fixed it. 2- I got stuck in the automatic entrance door, got trapped half way and the door wouldn't open. Again a lady called Laura helped unlock the door. Thank u Laura. But today coming from work, i realised that i forgot my wallet and my water thermos. I was very thirsty and almost dehydrated from training, but none of the available staff would help. Not Kay or the new PT (5:54pm). I even asked for an empty bottle. I wanted to leave the gym, the gym that i have been exercising in for the past 3 years. This is so disappointing, so sad.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy going to this gym, the equipment is nice and the facilities are great! A massive thank you to Kay, my personal trainer, he is the best person around. Very bubbly, friendly, funny and professional! I do enjoy our sessions together. He is very knowledgeable and can motivate anyone! I recommend him 100%!

Positive experience: Enjoyed my first visit but it is incredibly small. It was not busy AT ALL bc of the England game, but even then, we had to wait to be able to use equipment. Not enough sadly, gym is too small.
