Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience what I thought was walking football turned out to be full blooded competitive football! Be very careful what you advertise! Will never use the centre again.

Negative experience: Shocking twice I have been up and thay are closed due to flooding (how that's even possible flooding a swimming pool I will never know) but did the management not think to let the fine people of Loughborough know on the website thay WILL be SHUT Clearly not ! I braced the cold twice for nothing but disappointment and disbelief ! It's the 20'st centrey a note on doors just a massive INCONVENIENCE to say the least.

Negative experience: Vending machine took my money and did not disperse money... When I spoke to a mamber of staff they said they did not have the key!!! dont watse your money.

Positive experience: Staff were ok and the cafe upstairs is nice but avoid these idiotic machines. Ripped me off and then of course the number doesn't actually get answered, it's a premium phone number too so be warned.

Fantastic experience: I got my spinning fix and the class was amazing, location was great as it was near the hotel I was staying at and the facilities were perfect.

Fantastic experience: Its a wonderful place my only gripe is gym membership should come with free parking.

Positive experience: Excellent gym induction today with a couple of friends this morning led by Jack - who was super friendly, thorough and patient with a great sense of humour. There was a really inclusive feel to the gym floor, which we liked. Will definitely be back soon to try out our favourite machines - the Powerplate was a particular hit with one of my friends Thank you, Jack - appreciated your time and energy!

Fantastic experience: Very compact but nice for little ones

Positive experience: No complaints so far. Only use the squash court but staff are friendly and prices reasonable

Positive experience: Well equipped gym but changing facilities need an upgrade too. Showers are disgusting and the toilet is always broken. Reception staff are friendly and helpful

Negative experience: swimming pool water smelled vile so we left after 20 min, even after showering we all smelled like stagnant water. Changing area was visibly dirty and smelled strongly of urine. Would not go back.

Fantastic experience: The leisure centre is nice and clean, The staff are nice and polite and will help you with anything you need. I only started coming here a couple of weeks ago to use the swimming pool.

Negative experience: I fedback to the management team twice about the cleanliness of the gym and changing rooms and they said they were looking to address my concerns. This was over 2 months ago and nothing has improved. Since the refurbishment of the gym it's become dirty in places. Machines are thick with dust and have become grubby. The gym is quite untidy at times, due to no member of staff being present. The changing room especially the lockers require a deep clean.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. Couldn't ask for anything else.

Negative experience: Pool was like an ice bath. Went today for family swim in the training pool. It was far too cold. Our little one was shivering. We ended up having to get out. Very disappointed. A few months ago we went and it was warm. Has definitely put us off going back. Might as well go Beaumont leys if it’s going to be that cold

Fantastic experience: Great for the grand children

Negative experience: Wasted £2.10 trying to get a bottle of water out of vending machine. The bottle got stuck!! When my husband spoke to a male member of staff about it he was told that they didn't have a key to open it!!!! He also said to ring the phone number on the machine yeh right as if someone was going to come out to get my water for me!! Lesson learnt I will take my own water and snacks from now on. What is the point of having a vending machine in the Leisure centre if it either breaks down or runs out of the snacks??

Positive experience: Clean, but the swimming pool was really cold.

Positive experience: Dated pool facilities. Tiny cubicles in changing rooms. Showers are hit and miss. Hair dryers not always working. Staff lacking any kind of personality. Booking app has a mind of its own. Regularly receive phone calls the day before my booking to cancel due to "technical issues". Place needs a massive overhaul. Looks like they've spent millions on the gym facilities but are neglecting the pool side of things.

Negative experience: Editing to downgrade from 2 to 1 stars. I've cancelled membership, I've never been so uncomfortable in a gym ever. None of the hand sanitiser stations work, and nothing is being cleaned so I'm back and forth from the bathrooms washing hands so I don't catch anything. The gym has kids vaping whilst working out, it's unreal. No staff stopping them? This is not gym culture. The gym itself is kind of cool, they've put a lot of money into upgrading it so the kit is fresh, and the staff are helpful and kind for the most part, but that's where my positives end. There is an out of order toilet in the ladies that hasn't functioned in months now. That means just one toilet for us. The kit is often not where it should be in the gym (kettlebells and the upstairs dumbbells) so I don't think staff are sorting this often. We used to badminton here but now it's impossible to get a slot during non-working hours. Parking is charged, albeit only 50p but if you're in 4-5 times a week that basically adds a tenner a month to the membership price. They recently put prices up but with the state of facilities there's no way I'm paying more so I downgraded to gym and swim only. Still extortionate just for gym access but there's a lack of choice in the area that isn't commercial gym rubbish.

Negative experience: The gym is always full too small for so many members, not enough equipment's

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre . Lots of choice of exercise classes , and well equipped gym . Instructors are very professional and give you advice on how to use the equipment correctly.

Positive experience: We attended a family swim. The reception staff were lovely. The Changing room was clean. The small pool wasn't very warm and there were bits of debris floating in the overflow. The young life guard was rude and obnoxious. My 5 year old nephew asked if he needed to go through the shower before going in and his reply was sarcastic and unnecessary.

Negative experience: Gym is shut after 4pm on a Saturday, not much better on a Sunday, wet dirty floors in changing rooms. Carparks a joke too.!

Positive experience: Great gym with a wide range of equipment. The showers in the changing rooms are too few and generally run down.

Negative experience: Phone never answered, submitted a complaint regarding a children’s party we had there which was badly organised and not clean and no response.

Fantastic experience: This sports centre is for sure the best for Loughborough town especially when you want to explore different activities under the same roof. Me and my husband enjoys Tennis, Squash and Yoga

Positive experience: We are lucky to have this facility in Loughborough, but it is very difficult to reach them on the phone and there are so few swimming places, it is often at capacity (capacity is limited by there not being enough lifeguards)

Negative experience: I had a swim slot for 6.30pm and was suprised how unclean the place was and left at 7pm. Locker areas smelt, the place seemed run down and in need of a serious face lift. Looked like I'd stepped back into the 1980s. Its a cheap membership but you get what you pay for.. not clean, be warned!

Negative experience: Staff are lovely and friendly, just a shame about the cleanliness of the swimming area, changing rooms often smell of wee, hair and muck on the floor. Can see grime at the bottom of the pool, looks like it doesn't get vacuumed often.

Positive experience: First time I visited this place to play basketball with my son. The Staff where very helpful.the only thing that's not straight forward is the parking meter.i was helped by a very kind person.

Negative experience: We cancelled swimming lessons in Dec 2022. (We provided them with proof) As at June 2023 they are still taking money every month from our account!!!! Poor service really….

Positive experience: Not usually any complaints or problems. However last Friday, there was a group of us playing squash & the heating was on in the viewing balcony, overlooking the squash courts, where we would go to change pairs and have a drink of water between games. It was probably the warmest day of the year so far, so seemed very unnecessary and a waste of money to have the heating on. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for that.

Positive experience: Very friendly & helpful staff especially to a newbie using the sauna & steam room.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful location for my son's 4th birthday. All his friends (and parents) loved it, no need for any entertainer or extra activity as they were fully occupied with running around (as 3-5 year olds love to).

Positive experience: Soft play is good but could do with some new building blocks

Positive experience: I have only used the training pool recently but found it warm and large enough to have plently of space. Since I was with my youngest we used the mens group changing room and unfortunately a lady walked in without realising (not the first time).

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff especially Lilly at the front desk!! She answers all my questions and trust me I have loads!! And Rebecca is always great to talk to and helped with my induction. Thank you lovely ladies xx

Negative experience: manager was very rude and dismissive was trying to aquire a membership however she took a lot of convincing to even begin the process at that point I thought their was no bother after receiving such an awful experience. had better customer service at mcdonalds or kfc, I mean christ they aren't even busy behind the till why was my membership less important then her phonecard.

Fantastic experience: Great gym

Negative experience: Managed to book 1 family swim in last 4 months (only 13 other people in pool), app not set up to book kids in without paying again. Paying 110 a month for swimming lessons that is meant to include family swim time and an admin error had them booked into another leisure centre so no space for them now, even though space when I booked they haven't honoured it and taken responsibilty for their error . Terrible terrible service.

Fantastic experience: The best place ever

Negative experience: Website and app are most non user friendly I’ve ever used. Tried to sign up for a membership twice now and doesn’t let me, try to ring up and the lines are busy. I’ve tried booking swimming sessions before and have had issues with payment not going through on multiple accounts. It’s as if they don’t want you to actually go, they need to sort this out soon as I would sign up but honestly so fed up of the amount of time I waste trying to actually go.

Positive experience: Difficult to get through to on phone. James was very helpful when I did get thru. Booking system needs revising; staff on desk told me I couldnt use Fusion app because I dont have email on my phone! Also not helpful with reimbursing parking fees; told responsibility of CBC yet they are in partnership with Fusion!:

Positive experience: Toilets, smelly and Dirty. Poolside very hot for spectators. Teacher for Grandaughters lesson is Lovely (Holly). Reception were polite. A very hot day and drinks vending machines were completely empty.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities but really cheap and easy to book online

Positive experience: Changing area not very clean, no obvious policies in place to ask people to remove outdoor footwear. Annoying that you have to register with all your details to use the facilities when you are in the area on holiday and probably unlikely to return. All that said, booking was relatively easy, pool is a good size despite being the small training pool and they have shower cubicles for a more private shower after using the facilities. 50p for parking when using the centre as its close to town, pay at the meter.

Positive experience: Nice venue but the yellow lighting was difficult to navigate and uncomfortable

Fantastic experience: If you are going to use the car park, make sure to pay and display otherwise you will get a ticket. Nice customer service attendance and lovely swimming instructors for the children section.

Fantastic experience: Kids swimming lessons I go for, they have a gym, soft play, showers, sports halls and 2 pools, it's pretty good tbh and always has been. Great staff absolutely down to earth, their systems aren't 100% but the staff know how to get round the problems

Positive experience: Needs to go back to earlier and later opening times for people who work and do shifts.

Negative experience: Discovered on arrival that you have to download an app to use the pool (fine). But when encountered difficulties with the app and went to the desk to ask for some help (was politely and friendly) staff were obnoxious and rude. Proceeded to the 'Family Pool' but had to leave after 5 mins as the water was so cold my 1yr old was shivering. Pretty ropey experience.

Negative experience: Cafe shut all the time .you can’t enter the building until 10 mins before your class You can not pay for a session more than a week ahead . Facilities are good otherwise plenty of parking .50p for 2hours if your using the leisure centre….staff on the tills always busy due to online booking not easy to set up .

Positive experience: It is quite a good leisure centre. The facilities there include: two swimming pools, a gym, a sauna, and a sports hall. I come here often and I am satisfied when I come, but the swimming pool changing cubicles can sometimes not be cleaned properly.

Positive experience: What a place had everything you need football netball basketball courts yoga classes every evening trampolines and a gym 2 swimming pools a kids pool and a half Olympic swimming pool and lastly a mini soft play and a cafe one bad thing is that the big pool is absolutely

Positive experience: Went to the adult gym with a friend and enjoyed using the different machines.

Positive experience: Good leisure centre, group classes are great and motivating as well as the instructors all being nice and different. It would be great if the health suite wasn't out of order so much and investment made in this area.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym with help and support where needed. Not too busy on a weekday. Parking only 50p if a session is booked.

Positive experience: My son goes swimming here and enjoys him self the fees are Reasonable for the month, The only down side is when you try to phone and contact them there is never an answer but it seems every time I go in they are on the phone.. I can’t get down to the centre at the moment hence trying to phone everyday at various times

Negative experience: I've had 12.50 coming out of my account for month going to fusion. I have no idea why. I've tried repeatedly to call them to ask why. No one answers. I cancelled the payment through my bank and immediately get a text threatening court action. They cancelled my children's swimming lessons coming out of lock down - despite me paying a retainer. I've tried to call them 3 times today - no answer, no ability to leave messages. I'm happy to pay for a service I'm receiving but it's a bit much to pay for a service when I don't even know what it is I'm paying for!!

Positive experience: Went to soft play with grandkids. You need to book in but I didn't know this but staff sorted forme. Only 6 children in the areas so felt safe.

Positive experience: Busy, but good value.

Negative experience: Took my great granddaughter to soft play and we were the only ones there, it was like a ghost town all over the centre. She was really enjoying herself when she came to the outer ring of the play area and fell. Immediately her head had a large lump and a bruise on it. We looked for a first aider but could not find anyone. By this time the 2 people that were behind the desk had a few people waiting so we decided to go home. Why is the outside of the area which is all very child friendly not carried on the outside. Children do fall and trip when they are running and enjoying themselves. Also the cafe was not open so we had to get a packet of crisps from the machine, bad idea the date was July 2021. Not very good at all. A reply to this email would be appreciated, thank you

Fantastic experience: Really good swimming pool for students as their student membership is very affordable!

Negative experience: Ridiculous checking in system. Allow half an hour just to queue.

Negative experience: The pool is great , been coming for years but not offering enough sessions at the moment - either early in the mornings or later in the evenings when people aren't at work. The sessions that are offered, because of limiting numbers, get booked fast. If there were more sessions this would give people a chance & be more convenient.

Negative experience: They offered themselves as a place to collect Covid lateral flow tests. They're still listed on the NHS website. I tried to call them to check they have some and still offer them. Nobody answered. I drove there and they said they don't do them anymore. That's fine, but just update your website and/or answer your phone.

Fantastic experience: We came for soft play - so only commenting on that. It was great! It's not huge, so only really suitable for younger children. Clean, not hot and sweaty! You can get discounted parking when using the leisure facilities.

Negative experience: Some one had urinated all of the toilet roll and on the wall in the male bathroom.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant soft play area and quite cheap for the time slot. Perfect family swimming in a pool that's deep enough for adults but perfect for kids to learn In.

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym and very nice clean pool, lifeguards were very good at their job and the people working at the reception were helpful, 9/10.

Positive experience: If you want to play Squash then booking is essential

Positive experience: My kids take swimming lessons here and it's mostly really good, though some teachers are better than others. The cleanliness has improved since my last review, for which everyone is grateful! A lot of friendly staff here too
