Fantastic experience: Good facilities, gym is expansive and fairly cheap for nonmembers

Fantastic experience: Easy parking. Lovely facilities with lots of changing rooms for swimming. Easy access through the showers with a toddler. A few more play toys for the toddler splash would be nice.

Negative experience: Bourton pool shut...where I normally go. Never coming back here. Over complicated way to have to pay for single swim (need to download an app and register with all details, for a swim!?!)... expensive for a single 50min swim... No one at desk so waited ages until I found a small note on the desk about registering ... Great that no one was at reception too, as that's the place to find first aid!! ... No info about lockers and didnt have a pound coin... So couldn't secure my belongings. Showers are public, not private, pool stunk of raw sewage! Nothing to like about it.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to this leisure centre and I have to say its a good one the swimming pool is really good it's a shame they don't have a sauna or steam but it's all good the Gym is small but I'm only there for the swimming good fitness they have also got fitness classes yoga badminton football ⚽

Positive experience: The astro pitch flood lights are not great. The nets In the goals are poorly maintained. If you lose a ball into the school you cannot get it back.

Fantastic experience: Very good facilities. Nice little soft play area & sitting area with drinks & snacks machines. Swimming pool with plenty of individual changing cubicles & lockers. Water temperature very pleasant at 29.5°

Negative experience: Safety concerns, couldn't get a locker so they suggested putting my (overnight bag and my valuables) belongings on the side so I could keep an eye on it. And there was 'nothing they could do' no thanks I'm not risking my belongings being open like that. If anyone else is or has fewer items to worry about then fair game. Location is pretty rough for anyone who dosent drive so was already red hot by time I got there. Felt like my basic needs weent met sp going back to witney leisure centre.

Negative experience: Staff are fine, they where doing some ‘maintenance’ in the dry side changing rooms and a note said to use the ‘disabled toilets’…I’m sorry for anyone who steps foot in there, please tell me how this is okay!?

Positive experience: As an amputee using a wheelchair I wanted to go and investigate what was on offer for me... the staff were so friendly and wanted to help and make sure I got info on the gym equipment that I can use and the times that would be best for me to use the swimming pool... I will definitely be going back...

Negative experience: Very disappointed especially the swimming pool. I do not agree with circles because there are strong swimmers who will want to swim properly but you won't get anywhere from that. This needs to be changed. I have been to reception and waited for a few minutes and no one turned up.

Positive experience: Decent gym, kept clean apart from the rotting roof. Changing rooms are vile. Far too many children aloud in gym during peak hours. The building is literally falling apart. Staff are lovely

Negative experience: Terrible communication and service, paid for 2 year long memberships, now due to a house move we are no longer able to attend we applied for partial refunds, I got an email stating I couldn't get one even after providing proof of house move and my other half got an email with a link to a refund request, how does that work? She filled hers in and sent it off and I also sent one in, refund was requested by end of December and no communication at all, what has happened is not far from theft, all of this was first requested months ago.... avoid using Better

Positive experience: Only visited the swimming pool and think it's a fantastic idea to take the kids, tire them out for a morning of good exercise. Had a walk around, good facilities - squash, gym and personal training rooms.

Positive experience: A great local resource with really helpful people, badly let down by the better.org app you have to use to book activities.

Negative experience: Gym closes for the school to use multiple times a week (but not advertised..!) , facilities are comprehensive but dated. Gym machines could use a service and the pool would benefit from a good clean.

Positive experience: Good gym equipment and swimming pool. There is a reception area there but you need to have the Better app as it's often unmanned. Not easy to contact ! Also limited opening hours in the day in termtime

Fantastic experience: Been around few gym in the uk including David lloyds, Bannatyne’s etc but this is the best one I have come across for its value (compare to the overcharging ones), staff, facilities and maintenance. They are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Ryan and his team are great asset to the club. Keep up!

Fantastic experience: Oh to back in our second home- a morning coffee in the Crown & Cushion followed by a walk around the great shops then maybe lunch at the Fox or Blue Boar.Ifnstating the night no better place than the Crown & Cushion and look forward to that amazing buffet breakfast of theirs in the morning.

Negative experience: The gym conditions are not the best and it us full of unrespectfull boys who just don't care about the other gym users. They change in the gym, spray themselves in the gym area, put there dirty feet on the bench. Really disappointing for that price...

Negative experience: Took my 2 year old daughter here instead of the usual place so first time here swimming. I never review on places but this place is a total dump the smell of urine in the changing rooms was horrific!! We wasnt anywhere near the toilets either . Could even smell the stench of urine whilst in the pool . All the walls and floors in the place are filthy, Basically it's a dated building in desperate need of a refurbishment ..I feel cheated that I have to give it 1 star because it deserves 0 .

Positive experience: Ok facilities, could be a lot cleaner.

Positive experience: The cardio suite is well enough equipped and I normally go around 8pm so not to busy but the weights room has only 3 incline benches which when you get 5 or 6 users becomes a queuing game. Also, why do people complete a set then insist on sitting on equipment on mobile phones texting etc. Unless using to listen to music, ban the things and just train. You can do Social Media in the foyer when the vending machines are.

Negative experience: if you take training seriously or you're on a schedule don't bother. from 9-11 you get kicked out to let children in there's one barbell and one rack in there and a queue to use it and on top of that there are only 2 sets of 20kg plates the staff are friendly at least

Fantastic experience: Often go swimming of a Saturday morning as its normally quite. Staff are superb and always friendly (and it would be understandable if they weren't given the time of day!). I've been to a few better gyms and this is definitely the best.

Fantastic experience: We used the swimming pool of the centre and it was immaculate- clean all around, good locker space and changing stools, pleasantly warm pool water and hot shower water. All long hair visitors be aware you'd need 20p coins if you need to use the hair dryers

Fantastic experience: Love this facility, has that community feel but still has some quality facilities. My favourites are the pool and gym (especially after the new refurbishment). It's also pretty clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I have been coming here a few years and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, which is part of the 'Better' group. All the usual facilities, including a large heated swimming pool, where classes are held for all ages. Fees are middle of the road.

Positive experience: We go swimming with our children on the weekend and the pool itself is great a little cold for a family session so the baby doesn't last the whole hour as she gets cold. Pool is clean and changing room is generally clean. Only 1 useable baby changing table which is a nightmare for people with babies, there is a second baby table but it's been broken for at least 5 months. I also find a lot of people use baby changing room without a baby so this needs to be looked at as the floor is not clean enough to change baby on. The rest if the centre is great though and they hold a lot of good sessions.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff and trying their best to satisfy customer. Always have been to the pool and now extended my membership for the gym. There is always something to say as reading the comments but that is everywhere you go. I find it great being able to walk to the gym and having such a center with all in one. overall I'm very happy and if I do have something to "complain about" I kindly notify the receptionist.

Negative experience: As a frequent user of the pool for the last 8 years or so I've seen the pool facilities go down hill. There are several family changing rooms without doors or with other faults that are never fixed, some of the pool steps broke and have never been fixed. In the past I've reported problems which are addressed very slowly - for example in one changing room a screw was sticking out where a child could fall on it. Having reported it I checked it the following week and it hasn't been dealt with. The staff are nice and try hard but the overall impression is that the pool side of the centre is poorly managed and badly maintained.

Fantastic experience: Used the swimming pool, whilst away on a break. Great facilities, nice location with plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Great changing facilities and great pool - thank you. Wet side pre-swim showers need some maintenance as some were not working - other than that - great

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Squash court (1) is getting a bit tired and needs a repair to the front wall. My main gripe is that after showering the changing room is so humid you cannot get dry - any chance of an extracrion fan being turned on?
