Fantastic experience: Lovely pool and friendly team.

Fantastic experience: This place offers a variety of sports facilities, including a gym, pool, and courts. It’s affordable with friendly staff, though some areas could use modernisation. Overall, a solid local option for fitness and activities.

Negative experience: Very tired building esp the changing rooms. A couple of the swimming teachers are unnecessarily scary,and when I brought this to another teacher's attention they agreed with me but seemed unable to help. Reception staff can't always be found, as they're off working other roles in the building. But when you find one they're always super helpful.

Negative experience: 2nd ever visit, to say this place is run down is a massive understatement! Car park dark , no lighting. Step inside, no staff, walk through unlit inside corridor ( I kid you not!) to find outside pitches, navigate unlit concrete play/court areas full of puddles to find astro that's probably 5 years past its sell by. How on earth is this place still operating!? Whole site needs demolishing and rebuilding. Woeful.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting toilets and once my sons course is finished I will never book into this place again! The cleaner has clearly not cleaned the toilets in months! The cobwebs talk for themselves!! And one of the toilet doors hasn't had a lock for weeks if not longer!

Positive experience: Difficult to leave a star rating as only used limited facilities. I left dorcan school in 2010 and if I'm honest the place hasn't had a revamp since we left!! AstroTurf is like a rented property carpet that hasn't been changed for 10 years! In dire need of a refurb and an update!

Positive experience: Helpful staff, unsure about the refurbishment. Unsightly barriers, non fixed benches in the pool changing rooms, very tatty pool cover. A half hearted refurbishment by 'better'. This has slightly put me off from returning.

Fantastic experience: Walking netball in the Dome out the back. Plenty of helpful staff to show me through the building. Lots of other activities going on too, all ages. Tons of parking.

Positive experience: Basic badminton courts. Basic lighting and nets. Expensive for the basic facilities. Website for booking is terrible.

Positive experience: It's basic. No frills. Vending machines are the most modern thing here. It's like stepping back in time. I use this for my daughters swimming lessons for convenience and that's it

Negative experience: Took my boy here from the age of 5. Was good until a screaming little child ruined all the lessons and on a constant basis taking the focus of our children. When u pay 7 pound for half an hour u expect quality. I work alot and my son missed alot of lessons. When we came back there was 3 children in the pool (used to be 9)says alot...we are looking elsewhere

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Sports center for racquet sports and football. Keep a water bottle close by they don't have water on tap strange for sports academy. You won't die with thirst vending machines but bear in mind only cash.

Positive experience: Nice small complex serving the local community. Really is the only place in the area to swim and the swimming lessons for children are excellent. The buildings are looking a bit tired now as the complex has been here for years, but still serves its purpose well.
