Fantastic experience: Amazing gym Equipment all up to date, on top of cleaning and staff second to none with a welcome and helping people out Really welcoming social gym

Negative experience: Terrible!! I cancelled my subscription in August and the manager asked for a month notice, they took the September payment, but unfortunately in October they sent me an email to pay an arrears payment and transferred me to their credit agency!!! Beware guys , untrustable.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS GYM !!! Good luck trying to cancel your membership without being chased by debt collectors! Sent an email the the club saying that I'm canceling my membership giving 3 months notice. 6 months later I had an email off the club saying that I owe them 3 months membership. I told them I cancelled. Their response was that the club has changed management and they don't have any access the the clubs emails. Then I had debt collector chasing me for 3 months and costs ! Some silly reason I paid it to get rid of them and forget about this awful gym. A year later I had another debt collector contacting me saying that I owe over £200! Luckily I kept my receipt otherwise I would've had to pay again!!! I'm not the only one look at the other reviews!! if you want to be chased by debt collectors this is the gym for you

Fantastic experience: I currently only use if for the treadmill, but it is clean and all the equipment looks in good condition and depending on time not too busy

Negative experience: Went twice, couldn't get a chance to go because of injury, ask to see if I could cancel, and reply was yes as long as you get a doctor's signed letter in which cost more than 2yr membership. When I finally got through to try and sort something out I was told someone would call me back but that didn't happen until 4mths later with your membership is cancelled and dept passed on to collection company who added over £200 on top.is it a nice gym I can't say yes or no because I didn't get a proper chance to use it,customer service 1/10.

Fantastic experience: Been at this gym almost 2 years now and I can honestly say it’s the best gym I’ve ever been to! Having trained in multiple gyms over the years feeling uncomfortable around other members (particularly men), the atmosphere in this gym is unlike any other. The members are always considerate and helpful to one another. The staff are so friendly, especially the gym manager (Tegen) who is also one of the resident PTs there. She has always been there for any advice and guidance I’ve needed along my fitness journey, and the deputy (Jack) and membership advisor (Lois) have always been on hand if I’ve ever needed anything whether that be gym related or not. The gym is always kept clean and tidy and if I’ve ever had issues with broken equipment they’re been fixed immediately. All the negative comments about issues with memberships are nothing to do with the staff at the gym it is simply people not going through the cancellation process properly or attempting to cancel their direct debits before their membership has finally ended; so please don’t blame the staff, it’s out of their hands. Overall, an amazing gym and if anyone’s thinking of joining, then just do it! ☺️

Negative experience: I've been a member for years but 3 months ago I've decided to cancel my membership for valid personal reasons, informed the gym manager and received a link to fill out which I did. Then I've been hounded with phonecalls and messages one after another and explained that to them over the phone numerous time yet nothing has been done and they tried to tell me that I have to carry on paying despite being long time gone. Now they're passing me to some funny credit control agenc, absolutely bonkers. Equipment is good, facility clean but the company itself is awful.

Negative experience: Lovely clean gym, staff are really lovely, however, before signing up I made it abundantly clear that I wasn't in it for long term, I've never really committed to the gym as I should. So given that, the girl said we'll put you on a three month period at £35 per month. I thought that was absolutely great, until of course the moment it came down to cancelling, they'd sent an email on the 3 month mark about cancelling, I went onto the page to fill out the cancellation form, and no matter how many times I refreshed the page, nothing happened, I retried every day for few days later, it just simply wouldnt work. So with that I cancelled my direct debit thinking it was on a three month period anyway. Boy was I WRONG. I had call after call, message after message about my account being in arrears, I do typically avoid phone conversations due to anxiety, but when I called them after being harrassed, I mentioned to them the terms discussed over the phone when I registered, they proceeded to inform me that after the 3 months, it automatically rolls into a monthly rolling contract and that they require one month notice to cancel and that the payment would be still be required, and that this was in the contract I 'signed' . I feel they are MISELLING to get people in, so if you do decide to join, READ THE FINE PRINT and be certain about the cancellation policy before hand. I'm extremely disappointed in the way handled this, they refused to waiver the fee under the circumstances and £35 to me is a lot of money, especially just after christmas, to them, charging what they do per person per month at multiple locations, its pennies. It's just goes to show that it is all about money these days, people don't care about people, it's strictly business and profit margins. Edit: just read a review posted recently, three weeks ago, about their cancellation online form not working. Pretty entrapping in my opinion, they make it easy to join, and hard to cancel. Just avoid, go somewhere cheaper with nice sauna facilities, don't bother with this company.

Positive experience: Great place to train very friendly staff, unhappy to hear that membership is going up £5 in February to £29.95 that’s more now than gyms with a sauna & steamroom in the price : (

Negative experience: I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received from this place. I cancelled my contract 3 times over the phone as I couldn’t do it online . I was told it was cancelled and I find out again today that they have not cancelled my contract on a few occasion. I have now had another 40 pound from my account from clubwise!!! This is absolutely disgusting never go with the company!!!!!!

Negative experience: Joining isnt worth the hassle and threats you'll get when you leave. Used to just be one phone call. Try the fitness studio in Gorseinon, much better customer service and equipment.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant gym, I have been coming here for around one and a half years now with no intentions of stopping and I have never been disappointed. The staff & local community that come here are very welcoming, friendly and supportive. The equipment is high quality with plenty of variety so no matter what you goal is you can achieve here! If you are in need of extra help the resident PT's or coaches can ensure you hit your goals.

The big improvements from new equipment, to minor details such as air fresheners in the toilets are what makes the difference. Staff are always there to help and are extremely friendly. 5/5

Negative experience: Disgusting, money-hungry bullies who are hounding my partner for money when he was made redundant and is unable to pay. He cancelled his membership within the commitment period by showing proof of redundancy and these evil vultures are threatening him with debt collectors even though he hasn’t used their facilities in months and that can be proven by his fob key. DO NOT SIGN UP!!!! Unfortunately I am still within my commitment period but as soon as this YEAR*** is up I am leaving and regretting every penny I spent here. Facilities are nowhere near good enough for £25 a month, no customer care they only care about money!

Negative experience: Left this gym 3-4 years ago and I had debt collectors asking for money! Paid the money for some stupid reason a year ago and told them I was disgusted! Had another letter again! Do not join this gym as they will hound you for years to come! They are threatening to take me to court! Maybe they should to show how wrong they are! This hasn’t only happened to me it’s also happened to my partner and friend…

Negative experience: Used to enjoy this gym until they hiked priced by 50% with no prior notice. They have said an email was sent to all members to notify them but this was not received by myself. Member for 3 years and not a single increase until now. I can accept a slight increase but a 50% increase for a bog standard gym is ridiculous! Caio

Fantastic experience: Great gym and great staff. The plates are organised and the members are friendly and many very experienced. If members request equipment the gym will supply it because they care about the members.

Fantastic experience: Great 24hr gym, loads of parking because it's in the retail park. There's a good range of equipment and a nice atmosphere in there. The gym is always clean, and there are some decent changing and shower facilities (although I'd still wear flip flops in a public shower). There's a cold water fountain which is essential for sweaty workouts. They have a room that they run classes from and it's available for boxing or floor workouts when not in use. Tegen the manager (who was the resident PT) is really helpful and gives her all to the place. I feel safe and welcomed as a woman in the gym, and although there are a lot of male weight trainers that go to this gym, there are also plenty of other people of ages, genders and abilities. Highly recommend this gym, its great (especially for the price!)

Negative experience: This company sold me a 3 month " rolling contract 3 years ago i used the gym for 6 months and cancelled and has now sent a debt recovery company to recover £269.59 it states I owe them to make this worse the company they use has a premium rate contract number and thkeeps you holding anytime fitness won't respond to complaints on the matter avoid this company at all costs ..take a look at trust pilot for more reviews

Negative experience: In the process of trying to sort out an error that the gym has made with canceling have debt collectors trying to take money when cancled the membership was confirmed and had no arrears and magament told they will not do anything, they say new management witch is a joke. They do not care about people. Wanted to cancle my meter ship as got pregnant and could jot afford it. So stressful. Please do not bother signing up.

Negative experience: Would give -5 stars if i could. Walked in and asked for a day pass and the woman lied to me and signed me up for a YEAR LONG contract. Spent the last month trying to cancel but they make you reinstate your direct debit to cancel. Scummy company

Tegan has taken over day to day what a difference it has made Tegan has brought new machines and more coming in the future, plus New staff who are incredibly helpful & knowledgeable great for new an old members! Weekly/monthly challenges bring fun back into working out like how long can you hold 10kg plate! Unlike the other gyms around swansea ATF atmosphere is fantastic, very friendly welling to help anyone, love seeing new & regulars around the gym! Can't wait to see what's coming in the future of this brilliant gym!

Fantastic experience: Have been a member for several years now - my second home. I love the place - full of lovely people, both fellow members and staff. Great choice of equipment. Things have noticeably improved recently with new management and equipment. Special mention to the manager Tegen, she's amazing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member now for just over 2 months and can say I’ve loved every minute of it. Having the gym open 24/7 helps massively as I finish work late and go straight there! Nice and chilled there with good vibes and really welcoming and helpful staff. With the new equipment installed, it makes it even better! Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym with great facilities and even better staff! I initially started using Anytime Fitness as I was having boxing classes. Once I got talking to the staff and other members, it wasn’t long before I joined. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the facilities are great, the fact it’s 24/7 and that I have to work shifts as a train manager made it even better, I never have to miss a session. If your looking to restart your fitness kick, I would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Swansea is a brilliant gym. I’ve been a member since the day the doors opened. It’s the perfect location for me and having access to a gym 24/7 allows me to keep on top of my physical and mental health. During lockdowns the club made me feel part of their community by sharing my home workout videos and the current staff are just so lovely, caring and approachable. I am also loving the new equipment they recently installed!

Negative experience: They took 147.50 out of my sister's account without consent. She only agreed to 1 months membership and was assured that no money would be taken and account details were only for administrative purposes, then proceeded to debit her account. Do not trust them!!!

Negative experience: I was staying in Swansea for one month and needed a gym. I paid cash for one months membership, however the 'manager' insisted on my bank account details in order to join, he persuaded me that" No Money would be taken from my account" Now in June, I have just realised that they have taken 147.50 without my consent out my bank account! Money i cannot afford. I don't live anywhere near Swansea!!! I have tried contacting them and just been palmed off- this is not a way to run a business ripping off customers! Avoid like the plague!!

Negative experience: Good gym, awful staff. Unhelpful unless it's in thier interest. Once you're registered they are useless.

Negative experience: WARNING: Good luck cancelling your membership. Gave a notice in advance that i was relocating so unable to use the gym and nothing was done about it. After speaking to the manager i paid a cancellation fee and was told not to worry. As i was still receiving letters, I spoke to the manager yet again who assured me everything was sorted and that I have nothing to worry about. 2 months later, i have debt collectors after me. Its a shame i cant give more stars as its a great gym with excellent facilities, but the sheer incompetence at handling a basic instruction after following the "procedure" in the contract is what lets this place down massively. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this greedy company who will still continue to charge you after cancelling to try and scare you into paying. You would be much better off looking at your independently run gyms, or other brands such as snap fitness who offer similar facilities, and hopefully more competent staff as well

Fantastic experience: I can't rate this gym enough the staff are so helpful I'm limited to when I can actually use the gym with work & child care commitments but Rob designed a payment and workout program that suits me the gym has everything thing you need from modern equipment to private shower room's I would and have recommended this gym.

Negative experience: be aware when you sign up... I sign up on a monthly basis and because I was not going, try to cancel and I was told it was a 12 month membership and I wasn't able to cancel. Try to explain why I need to cancel but no luck, and now they threatening me with debt collectors. Do what you got do but I'm not paying not even a penny more fed up of that.
