The External Auditors- PKF Littlejohn LLP have completed their review of the AGAR for year ending 31 March 2019. A copy of their report, along with Sec 1 & 2 and the Notice of Conclusion of Audit can be found on the Parish Council Noticeboard and on the Annual Return 2018-2019 page

Residents welcome to attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish of Islip- where various organisations will give a report on their activities during the year
Islip Parish Council are to delighted to announce that the refurbished recreation ground will be officially re-opened on Saturday 6th April at 11am by the Chairman of East Northants District Council- Cllr Wendy Brackenbury.
Please note that the litter pick will now be on 14th April meeting by the village sign at the top of Chapel Hill, time to be confirmed . Gloves pickers bags etc to be supplied with tea or coffee and bacon rolls afterwards!
Gigaclear, in conjunction with a County Council initiative will be installing fast broadband (up to 900 megabytes) to the North end of the village in the Summer. Currently there are no plans for the rest of the village, but if residents register their interest, and enough do so- it may be considered.
4th to 10th February 2019 Covering Raunds, Thrapston, Rushden & close surrounding areas The canvassers are recruiting new members to join the weekly Air Ambulance Lottery. They will not be collecting any cash or taking any donations whatsoever, the new members they sign up agree to play/join via Direct Debit or cheque. The canvassers are dressed in hi-visibility jackets with Air Ambulance displayed front and back or grey fleeces displaying Air Ambulance on the front left breast or yellow polo shirts with Air Ambulance displayed both front and back and carry picture ID cards. The canvassers usually operate Monday – Friday between the hours of 10am and 8pm and occasionally at weekends. Further clarification can be obtained by calling the Air Ambulance Lottery office on 0844 567 0844 during normal office hours.

Fantastic experience: We went for our lads goalkeeping training, nice place, clean toilets, bit of a trek for us but it's worth it
Fantastic experience: Really good and organised place for football ⚽
Positive experience: It is the new venue for WW went well and a great location
Negative experience: Not very good more like a prison
Fantastic experience: A good place for meetings, under floor heating so nice and cosy, dish washer so no washing up of cups after meeting, and parking.
