Positive experience: Not a gym for serious or intermediate lifters as free weights only go up to 30kg and there's limited benches and no platforms. Good for those just wanting to use cardio machines though. Irregular opening hours so check in advance. More serious gym goers should try Trifitness in Galashiels instead.

Negative experience: Lazy and grumpy staff, limited free weights. I got banned from this gym because I was using free weights/resistance machines, hence the 1 star. On the website it advertises the "teen zone" as a supervised intro to the gym. That is not what I received. There was no supervision and the "access to the gym" was more like access to treadmills and bikes. Poor stuff.
