Fantastic experience: I came across this place as I was looking for somewhere to train thats not intimidating. The group sessions are really good, small groups of around 8 people. The workouts are hard but good and the coaches are really friendly and knowledgeable. If can afford to pay for a 121 pt then thats great, but this place gives you the same but for half the price!

Negative experience: Don't waste your money. It is not as advertised (it's a group circuit in a warehouse). I requested a refund after explaining I did not receive anything of what was promised upon purchase (coaching, nutrition, personal training etc). I also explained I never received my login details to make bookings and had to remind them multiple times for a week (it was a 4-week program with a week wasted chasing them, that's not what you want). They responded via email with an "I'm sorry you feel that way" but I was just happy I would receive my money back (£157). After 5-10 days passed, I chased them up with no answer. Waited another week, and followed up with another email. I have now accepted that I am being ignored and will go through my credit card to dispute. I'm really disappointed that there are people taking advantage of those who are trying to better their life and seek services like theirs to do so. Anyone that works for this company and knows what goes on should be very ashamed.

Negative experience: Hello sweat Clubs do you have any contact email or phone numbers or you are fraudulent? I live in Victoria and you are in canary wharf how could you take money from my account without my knowledge I never met you or subscribe anything from you how? Please refund my money back ok 29.99£ now Thanks Oli Deniro

Fantastic experience: Experience was great, love how the heart rate monitor connects to the displays in the room so you can keep an eye on heart rates. Brilliant atmosphere and work outs are intense.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend you join, best gym I've been to. Coaches really keep you motivated, and are they to support you on your fitness journey.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would! Unbelievably unprofessional and appalling customer service. Paying premium prices for being treated like a second class citizen. Liz is the most unapologetic, entitled and patronising person who will rather lose clients than to actually try to understand their needs and work towards it. I ended up getting my money back by going through my bank and actually filing a dispute, because otherwise they would’ve charged me £250 after I had not gone to the gym once (not even for a premise walk around), when they had to close down. Avoid at all costs! You’ll be much better at Third Space or honestly even PureGym!

Fantastic experience: I am a very anxious gym goer and it took me a while to get back into it after stopping a few months ago. As soon as I walked into the gym for the first time, i felt very welcome and comfortable. The trainers are lovely but also they push you to make sure you achieve your goals. Its an amazing environment which i haven’t experienced anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I came across SWEAT by chance one evening scrolling through the internet looking for a place that would help me get fit and motivate me to continue, been with SWEAT for 4wks and it has been one of the best decision I made, I have seen a huge difference in my fitness levels, the team are great initially had reservations didn't think you would get that personal touch but I was wrong they are always on hand for questions or concerns you may have and once you start seeing results you want to carry on, the workouts varied you never know what you will be doing when you attend the session but thats the fun of it as you never get bored. I can not wait to achieve my goals and i know with SWEAT teams help i will soon.

Fantastic experience: After working out at the gym and then at home during the pandemic, I had lost that drive and motivation as I was on my own and didn't have that support and push to carry on. Since joining Sweat Clubs, I have seen my level of motivation and actual enthusiasm towards exercising coming back - the team is genuinely nice and care about you and helping you achieving your goals. The format is really interesting as you will train in small groups whilst still maintaining that personal support and accountability factor. The sessions are varied and the programme changes every week, so there is not that feeling of always doing that same 'Pump/LBT/Abs class' over and over again. The coaches also help you with your nutrition objectives by explaining and providing a tailored meal plan, they also check on you via the app and during the session and do regular measurement checks to keep track of the progress. Overall a training/exercising format that really works for me and my fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: Amazing space if you’re looking for varied small group sessions in a chilled atmosphere, while still being highly effective. The coaches are very welcoming and are amazing at adapting the sessions to everybodys ability, so that you get the max out of your workout. The 6 week trial is a great way to test the waters, but you’ll probably stay for way longer anyway :)

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my decision to go for a trial. In 6 weeks I’ve seen changes on my energy levels and my body. Everyone made me feel very welcome and answered to any question I’ve had. Looking forward to the sessions. Thank you Sweat Team!!!!:)

Negative experience: After being a member of the Gym for over 5 years, I requested to cancel my membership as due to Covid and working from home I have only been able to get to the gym once in the last 6 months which was confirmed. I then started to receive emails which stated that i was in arrears. I responded that i had cancelled my membership. I then got an email threatening a debt collector. I responded back on the email, I also sent a message to the manager of the gym with no response. I also tried to call the gym but the phone number that is listed on the website and google doesnt connect to anything. After 2 weeks of going out to them I still havent had a response and still getting chasers for the payment.

Disha Vasyani 5 years ago

Negative experience: The staff is too pushy. Rates are too expensive and they wouldn’t even let you try the gym like most gyms do or offer discounts

Marcos Bergagna 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Super happy !!! After win my challenge, great atmosphere , personalised service , profesional team. % recommended. They help me to find a balance between my unhealthy lifestyle and the good routines and good habits in my exercise and diet. My weight were 104.8kg / 23,5 % body fat and after 6 weeks the result is 97kg with 18% body fat. Fantastic result of 5,4% down. Thanks again to everyone who help me reach this goal and let’s go for another one ;)

Christel Garcia 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: I’ve never gone to the gym before, but I felt curious about the challenge at Sweat. I saw how my body changing fast only in 6 weeks going 3 times per week. I lost 4kg and drop my body fat 5,4%. Obviously, after the challenge I joined Sweat, and I’m happily healthier! The sessions are just 45 min, and the personal trainers are truly amazing, they push you to get better. Totally recommended.

Negative experience: I booked a meet and greet trial with this gym. For securing the booking they asked me for a refundable deposit of £10 so to make sure i will not drop off. I agreed, paid the money, went to the appointment. The gym (or warehouse) is in Canary Wharf. I had a brief introduction but i was not happy with the location and the schedule so we did not go through the whole meet and greet session (which includes body measurement etc). The gym instructor or secretary ensured me that they will return the money back to me ASAP. For your information this gym advertises FREE 6 or 8 week challenge if you manage to lose weight but they ask you to pre pay £700-£800 pounds for 6-7 week "personal training". The personal training though, is not "personal" as you are joining a group of 4 or 5 people and you're doing a circuit exercise. The funny thing is that they are trying to make you book by your first visit claiming that "there are only a 3 spots left for this month". Of course i wouldn't pay £800 for a circuit training in a warehouse. I was not happy - plus the whole thing smells like scam. A week after my visit I called them to ask them to pay me back the refundable deposit. The lady over the phone said that it takes 5-10 working days. (Very strange for a deposit). 10 days later of course i had not received the deposit. I called them back again asking for the deposit for second time. The lady said that the manager was on leave and she forgot to do it and you have to wait for 10 days more. She did not even apologise! In any means, please avoid this scam, unless you have spare £800 cash to waste. I never leave negative feedback but this "club" or whatever claims to be, is disgraceful!

Fantastic experience: I joined sweat wanting to be regular and inculcating the habit of proper exercise. I like being to the gym first time since this is a very friendly environment and while the exercise that they put you through isn’t fun (who loves exercising after all), the atmosphere sure is! I must say I am impressed with the class size and the trainers and I like it so far! Good work

Fantastic experience: Sweat Club is a real game changer! I joined the 6 week challenge and have since completed a summer shred strength programme and they were super! One year in and the small group sessions are continually changing so you're never bored and they run sweat games and test weeks to keep you motivated! The dedicated trainers push you and tweak the workouts to best benefit you and there's no opportunity to slack! It's an amazing club and you see the results from the programmes and diets. Five stars and definitely worth the fees!

Fantastic experience: I started with the 6 week challenge and saw great results in a short amount of time so I decided to stay on for longer. Two years later I am not only in much better shape but I have built up muscle and still loving it. It’s a great place to train, with engaging sessions that push you to reach your potential. All the trainers are super friendly and genuinely care about helping you reach your goals.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous gym! I joined Sweat as training is given in small groups which ensures a personalized attention. I love it as the trainers are very friendly and the sessions are full of enthusiasm and motivation as well as well as technique.. highly recommend:)

Fantastic experience: Joined the 6-week challenge a few months ago after reading the reviews, thinking I'd try something new given I was never a fan of the gym, and was pleasantly surprised and ended up signing up for a membership. Sweat goes beyond by just being a gym, it promotes a healthy lifestyle and accountability for your own wellbeing. There are also nutrition talks to ensure that we understand the importance of our diets and there are regular check ins and tests so we can track our performance over time.

Fantastic experience: I joined Sweat to loose some weight as one of the challenges. Once the challenge was over I was so happy with the training, being fitter, the atmosphere I decided to stay. Two years later, I am fitter than I ever was and I can use trousers I used when I was 17!

Fantastic experience: 7 years I injured my right shoulder while skiing. I been to doctors, been to PHYSIOTHERAPIST but didnt help me at all. It was getting worse. Then one day i met Sweat through Facebook. Was a little bit worried as its hard to trust anything from Facebook but I thought lets give a try and see. Yes its been over 3 years now. I am with Sweat. SWEAT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE..THE PAIN THAT I HAD , IS GONE. I had no idea about certain supplements and exercises that can heal you. SWEAT TAUGHT ME ALL THIS AND MANY THINGS. PEOPLE ARE VERY FRIENDLY , INSTRUCTORS, RECEPTIONISTS EVEN THE OWNER LIZ PENNY AND ELLA.. VERY NICE. ITS NOT JUST A PLACE FOR EXERCISE . ITS A PLACE WHERE I MET MANY NEW FRIENDLY PEOPLE..THEY DO ORGANISE MANY EVENTS LIKE HALLOWEEN CHRISTMAS , EASTER PARTIES AND POPULAR SWEAT GAMES...ITS FUN.. YES ITS EXPENSIVE COMPARING TO SOME GYM OR SPORTS INJURY CENTRES BUT ITS WORTH IT.. BUT SOMETIMES KONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING WHEN YOU ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT2. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH SWEAT. YOU SHOULD TRY ONE DAY AND SEE HOW IT IS... THANK YOU RIZZI MINAJ

Fantastic experience: This is indeed the place to be if you want that physical and mental kick in the rear to get yourself where you want to be physically and mentally. The staff there cater to you as an individual and they push, motivate and advise you not in a general sense but specifically to your goals. The workouts are intense, but only as intense as you make them, and the staff will always be there to push you on and guide you accordingly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Give it a go if you want change now. Regards, NG

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym it’s So different! They make sure you give the most of you, hard work and amazing team. Really enjoy to go there.

Robert Kaner 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! Very personal small classes with lots of variety (different circuits every day and in almost two years I don't think I've done the same workout twice), lots of support from the instructors both with your technique and with diet/general well-being, and you get great results! This place feels more like a community than a gym - they have competitions every few months to bring everyone together (with prizes), and everyone who goes is very friendly. One huge plus for me is the accountability. The instructors know everyone personally and they know when you train, so they keep you honest. That motivation really helps drive you to get up and go, rather than the "I'll do it tomorrow" mentality that's very easy to slip into when you're only accountable to yourself, and also means you push yourself harder than in other places. Very happy to train here!

Surabhi Lamba 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Get set SWEAT! Sweat is hands down the best gym in UK. Every class has something new to offer and you are guaranteed to burn those calories and fat. The PT classes are really educational and worth attending. In the past 6 weeks I have seen the change physically, mentally and in my energy levels. The trainers are amazing and very knowledgeable. If you are looking to get in shape or just feel good after a long and tiring day of work join SWEAT today!!

Laura Dawson 5 years ago

Negative experience: I joined SWEAT Clubs in December 2018 thinking that i'd join for 3 months to give myself a boost. But 3 months turned into 18 months because I enjoyed it so much. The trainers are epic, they really work you hard. SWEAT quickly became part of my lifestyle. In terms of admin and membership, I’ve been disappointed by the level of communication from the club. I’ve had difficultly changing my membership to a different package last summer. And now I’m having difficulty cancelling my membership all together due to health reasons. I’ve been trying to cancel since 25th of August. It’s now the 25th of October and I’ve still not received confirmation of cancellation and I’m still being charged. I’ve sent 12 emails, 3 Facebook messages and spoken to one of the trainers on the phone who said they would sort it nearly 6 weeks ago. Now when I dial the contact number online the number is out of service so I can’t get hold of the club over the phone.

Olivia Whelan 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: I recently started the 6 week challenge and only have fantastic things to say! The workouts are intense, the instructors are friendly and will push you to keep going, and the small class sizes really allow a community feel to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing my 6 week results!

Sabina Ribena 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: New to HIIT I joined Sweat to improve my health and get results. The 6 week challenge the gym offers upon signing up is great and delivers results if you really want to see change. This gym is not like any other I have come across. The PTs at the gym are very friendly and approachable, extremely knowledgeable, great motivators and really support you every step of the way, not just with exercise but with nutrition and lots of advice and tips to help get the best results for you individually. They offer a lot of content via apps to help keep you on track and motivated, as well as accountability for those who need it. The gym also host nutrition/ fitness seminars often that really help you to understand what you are doing and why, which helps you make sustainable changes. The classes are held in small groups and have a lot of variety, as well as being challenging for all fitness levels and the PTs really look after you and pay attention. All of this at no additional costs, which is why they stand out and are the best!

Fantastic experience: I'm currently doing the 6-week challenge and have already signed up for a membership! The support and guidance from the SWEAT team has been great, the sessions are challenging but the trainers are so encouraging and push you to work hard - I always leave every session dripping in sweat and with a smile on my face :-)

Fantastic experience: SWEAT gives you the small team/personal training atmosphere that most of London’s boutique gyms can’t. With only a handful in a class, you feel less like a number and have no fear of being intimidated. It’s a no frills workout where the results really do speak for themselves.

Assad Ullah 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: I've always known I need to eat better and train properly, having joined Sweat Club I now know I should have done this a long time ago! Class sizes are great and everyone is on the same page.. Who knows, maybe I'll achieve my goal of looking sexy af when I take my shirt off!

Negative experience: I was a member of this gym from Nov 2018 to June 2019. At the time I was training daily (when work and travel commitments allowed). June 2018 I severely injured myself. I saw two physios and two specialists (spinal & shoulder) who all recommended I stop training while they investigated the severity of my injury. It turned out I had three broken ribs and injured my spine. At this stage I was within my rights to cancel my membership but I requested a "hold" while I sought treatment. The owner (Liz) was not flexible at all, she tried to use bully tactics and then sent my account to a debt collection agency. Thankfully I was able to challenge the debt and the collection agency accepted the medical recommendations from my physiotherapists and specialists. Until the owner takes a step back and hires a competent person to run the club, I would avoid this gym. The only redeeming factor for SWEAT are the male trainers. They are great motivators that know how to push their clients to get results.

Vivek Laddha 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Did the 6 week challenge with some damn good results, but more importantly I feel great: very visible physical changes, increase in strength and fitness levels and just generally feel much better. Have signed up for further 6 months. The sessions are tough and you push yourself, I felt much more at ease after working out for couple of weeks. Big shout out to Adam & team, excellent innovative sessions. You train, you sweat, you burn and you feel good!

Darin Taitz 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Great gym! After trying out so many different types of London Gyms I have finally come across one that really cares about each and every one of the members. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and non judgemental which makes the gym feel like a kind of home. There is no intimidation or doubt that I may be doing something wrong because the members are always being guided and are encouraged to ask questions. Definitely a special place amongst all the other London Gyms. Highly recommended

Navin Agarwal 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Its exactly what it says on the tin. You 'sweat' in a 'club' of like minded people. On a serious note, i have been a member of many gyms and the hassle of motivation, what to do, which days, which food etc etc meant that i was always unsure if i was doing the right thing. Here though you dont need to worry about anything really. All the exercises are planned and take care of as long as you show up and help is available at hand for any queries regarding your diet.

Romy Van Der Merwe 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Thank you Adam, Rhys and Ramos for helping me fall back in love with training! And Amy for really selling the challenge to me and the team for sending me cards over the 6 weeks to keep me going :) I was going through a really tough time when I stumbled upon the sponsored post on Instagram and really needed something to kick start my fitness regime again. The circuits are fun, quick and no two sessions are the same which keeps things interesting (I get bored easily)! What particularly stood out to me was how NICE everyone was, from the trainers to the clients, everyone is so welcoming! I lost 5.2% body in 6 weeks and gained 3.5kgs of muscle but also lost 1.5kgs in total. My metabolic age went down from 36 to 27 which I am also really pleased about given I just turned 30!! Overall, I’m super pleased! I have decided to continue with the training and become a member - I can’t wait to see how the next 6 months turn out. Thank you all so much :)

Fantastic experience: I have come across SWEAT club accidentally on Facebook. Over the last couple of years, I have gained a bit of weight particularly around my stomach area. It started causing me a bit of discomfort and lower back pain. The HITT training is something I have been avoiding for a long time, so the six weeks challenge was definitely the right challenge for me. In the beginning, everything was explained to me and there was no pressure for me to sign up. They were accommodating to the fact that I only could do four weeks as I had a holiday booked. They were very happy for me to do extra sessions in the week. It was really hard, especially the first couple of weeks, when every muscle in your body hurts, but the instructors were always incredibly friendly and encouraging. I was also give a balanced food plan, which I followed closely. There were regular sessions to ensure I was on track. I have lost 3kg and got to 67kg, but more importantly I have lost 5.8% body fat in four weeks. It wasn’t easy, there was lots of sweat, but it shows that with great support, encouragement and discipline, anything is possible. I would like to thank the entire team, particularly Adam for being so fantastic. I honestly can recommend this challenge whether you would like to lose a bit of weight or simply improve your fitness level.

Giordana Leonzi 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: After finishing the 6-week challenge, I decided to continue with a full membership: definitely worth it! The guys keep following you closely in your development, they tweak exercises based on your needs and are always available for advises and suggestions. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience: working as a production asssistant i didnt have much time to focus on my health and fitness therefore was getting very tired and gainning weight as a result. when i came across sweat i thought it was a great challenge and therefore joined u straight away. i was lacking motivation however liked the companies policy on accountability. the only reservation i had about joining the six week challenge was that i didnt know if i could commit to it or not however i managed to work around it and proceeded. the first three weeks went went an di loved every minute of it however struggled with the nutrition side side of things. luckily i managed to conquer that too over time. At the end of the six weeks i felt trimmer and had lots of energy. i had also lost 6.3 percent body fat aswell. i would recommend anyone to join up and give sweat six week challenge a go.

Arnau Reig 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: I did the 6-week challenge at Sweat clubs. Being a student can be quite “static” sometimes, sitting all day and going to classes. After 3-4 months of university, I had gained a lot of body fat and I didn´t like my physical condition. So, I heard of Sweat clubs and its challenge. It was interesting, so I signed up. My first couple sessions were really hard, as I got tired very quick, but day by day I started to feel with more energy. Following the meal plan was hard, but I got used to it and I even liked it. The sessions were quite private, as many of the classes were of 3-5 people, so that gave me the opportunity to have someone who make me push harder and don’t lose the motivation. I really saw a change in terms of well-being, that’s why I would recommend SWEAT to anyone who struggles with eating correctly or training hard. In less than 5 weeks I lost more than 5 kg and 5.7% body fat! After the 6-week challenge I became a member of Sweat to keep training every day.

Dayna Kosega 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: I just did the the 6 week challenge at Sweat clubs. I found this programme to be highly addictive and motivating. Having the ability to work out in a small group with the trainer allowed them to focus a bit more on me which gave me the best result. Having the chance to choose my 3 classes to suit around my lifestyle was very convenient. It gave me freedom to not sacrifice my daily tasks. The nutrition plan was easy to follow and staff were always willing to give advice on it. I enjoyed having a heart-rate tracker which I have not used before which kept track of my heart rate as well as motivated me to smash my best results each time. Having the incentive from this challenge showed me what I was capable of physically and mentally which I am very grateful for. I would highly recommend SWEAT to anyone who needs that needs a push. All you need to do is show up! In just six weeks I lost nearly 4kg and over 5% body fat! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Negative experience: Just read the other reviews giving bad score, you'll understand how you're getting scammed. And don't let yourself be mislead by the "perfect" ones

najma Hersi 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: my name is Najma Hersi, my age is 34, am a support worker for young people. Before I joined sweat, I wasn't exercising or eating well, before sweat, I always felt tired, had no energy but now I feel like a completely new person with their help. The encouragement, without your guidance and push, I wouldn’t have been able to get the results that I needed, without them I will still be the same. I saw sweat on facebook, and the reason I join is that am getting old. It was hard for me to stick with exercising but it became easier with their routine. I felt very proud of my self and I thought I wouldn’t stick with it but I did. I look much slimmer, have more energy, and feel good about myself. I feel 10 years younger. Everyone says that I look much healthier and better, I’m two size smaller, A great place to train and fantastic workers. Thank you with everything guys, with out your help and your motivation I don’t think I would had Succeeded. When I started sweat I weight 59 kg and had 36.3% Body fat. When completing the program after six weeks My weight was 56 kg and my body fat was 30.1 %. That means I loss 3 kg and also loss 6 % of body Fat.

Fantastic experience: I did the 6 week challenge at the Canary Wharf Sweat Club with positive results. Initially I was skeptical but found the workouts, even though very challenging to be doable even by me. Who knew I would be able to do a clean push up or box jump? The staff is great, they motivate and provide hints and tips, monitor correct execution of the exercises. They always answer questions about exercises and nutrition and track your progress. The atmosphere is very friendly and group sizes are very small. The facility is conveniently located, changing rooms with lockers and individual showers and even basic styling products available. The equipment is state of the art and the organisation is very professional. During the training you wear a heart rate monitor which provides a cool visual representation of how efficiently you trained, which motivated me even more. The challenge included 3 session per week and a meal plan, which was discussed bespoke for body types with meal suggestions. It required meal prepping but is very flexible even with vegetarian options available. I never felt hungry so I didn't feel like I was on a diet. The goal is to build muscle after all and thereby losing fat. I'm very happy I did the challenge and would recommend it to everyone! It sounds very difficult and may scare some people, but if I can do it, anyone can!

sara mariani 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Sweat is a gym like no other, sweat is family! Each one of the trainer is amazing, knows you and cares for you and adapts the excercises to individual needs (especially if you're not sweating enough). They always push you to test your limits and make you progress. Every training is always new and different (other than burpees! Those are always there :P), never boring and always hitting a different muscle! After two year it's the only gym where my motivation has never left me and I look forward every morning to sweat it all out and start my day with much more energy!

Negative experience: whilst I loved the programme I am hugely disappointed that SWEAT don’t stick to their part of the deal..I lost 7% body fat so decided to take my money back..have been trying for months and months but they just won’t return it and repeatedly lie and say they have. Very dishonest of them and very disappointed

M S 6 years ago

Negative experience: I received facebook advertisement from them saying that they have free training programme, so I signed up. I was invited for free consultation during which I was shown an empty hall with a few weights, a skipping rope and a ball. It was called 'the gym' worth my 'skills'. I was weighed and measured and told that my biological age is 31 which is way too much and I shall reduce it. In fact I was 31 at the time. I was also told that I will get diet programme but for now 'macro and micro' elements is too much for my head. I am PhD in biological sciences. The total price for monthly training was £1500, and when I told this is the equivalent of my monthly stipend I was told to go for a run as this is for free. Or I can attempt to exercise for free under the condition I will loose some ridicoulous amount of weight. My BMI is normal 22.5 so I could only change my body constitution (convert fat into muscles) which probably would increase my weight but improved fitness. I was given unachievable goal for my body type just to attempt ssuck money from me. I am glad I have my own sufficient knowledge about exercise and nutrition. I can easily imagine people who never been to gym easily getting into the trap. Sign up into regular gym with good equipment and well educated fitness advisors. Or, if sbd looks for good 'free gym' in the area I recommend 'everybody's active' programme, which is paid by local council to keep people fit as it is cheaper than paying NHS for lifestyle conditions (in well equipped gyms: sauna, swimming pool, cardio, weighlifts rooms etc). Works in Southwark for sure, not sure about other boroughs. Stay wise, normal gym should not be more than £30-40 per month and should be well equipped. I can only edit review not continue the thread, so this part refers to the owners reply below my initial negative feedback. Firstly, 'based on my reply I never broke a sweat' Well I did tough mudder, I cycled from London to Paris, I hiked to Everest base camp. I train Krav maga I did broke a sweat in my life. And I hold PhD in biological sciences, so I know bibs and bobs about human physiology, I don't need to 'ask google' I go to PubMed. 1. The room I was shown was empty. If the line which was on the floor was not a skipping rope, then apologies, but also you should get one. It is awesome cardio and stamina exercise. 2. I was asked 1500GBP for the 'program which aims to burn my fat' I went there only because of an advertisement saying that if I complete a challenge those exercise sessions will be for free... I said 1500 is how much I earn per month and I was told to have a run instead. 3. I haven't wrote you measured my BMI. I said myself how much my BMI is. You weighted ma and measured my height, gender, age, and you used weight with electric impulse passing through the body which uses fat muscles and water resistance to estimate body composition. Indeed, if you want the super exact measurement you will need MRI machine, or post mortem autopsy. NHS would be grateful if you get MRI :) 4. No, I will not get personal trainer, nutrition plan, access to gym and swimming pool at 'everyone's active' scheme for 40 GBP, I'll get it for free. NHS signed a deal with canada water borough because it is cheaper to prevent type 2 diabetes than treat type 2 diabetes. I asked about the nutrition and I was told micro and macro elements are too much to know for my head. I mentioned I am biologist ... well... goog microsurgeries are not too much for my head. No, I haven't made this up. Why would I spent my time and effort writing this instead of having fun stuff to do? This if feedback and you earned it. You can improve and receive positive feedbacks from happy clients. But scamming people on FB with 'fantastic programmes', which are not that great won't reach your target. Simple.

Negative experience: AVOID THEM! I have successfully got a judgement against them. They falsely advertise the six week challenge as free and when you turn up for it they ask for a £497 deposit. The diet plan that they give you does not work, they claim it is tailored but all it did was make me fat so I stopped following it. They claim to give you a personal trainer but they are just class instructors. I had to take them to court because Liz Penny (the owner) refused to weigh me at the last week of the challenge, as she knew she would have to hand back the money, and also I told her I would no longer be carrying on past the 6 weeks. She repeatedly ignored my calls and sent emails 3 weeks after I sent them asking to weigh me but she and her team refused to do so. In the end I took her to court and got judgement in my favour. This is not the first time someone took her and her company to court. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Positive experience: Sweat gave me the incentive I needed to get back into a healthy exercise routine, paying the large deposit made me stick to the eating guidelines and I really enjoyed the small group personal training - I was usually only 1 of 3 people in our circuit classes. I lost weight, gained muscle and got back in the habit of leading an active lifestyle.

Negative experience: After the 6 week challenge, I signed up to a 3 month membership of the club, with the first 6 weeks for free, as an incentive to join. I felt that the service I received went quickly downhill after I started paying for membership and although the actual trainers/classes I got were ok, they are certainly not worth £175 per month. After my paid period I decided not to continue my membership. Without my authorisation, Sweat Clubs set up a new direct debit using the initial mandate which I signed upon joining and withdrew an ADDITIONAL £175 from my bank account, I repeat - without my authorisation. It's a shame I had to write this review as I got along well with staff members, but what they are doing in terms of taking people's money is just wrong. It is both immoral and illegal and I would recommend avoiding SWEAT at all costs.

Fantastic experience: When I first went to sweat, I was sceptical of the programme and wasn’t sure I would reach my goal. This gave me reservations about putting money down. How glad I am that I did! I was determined to succeed where I had failed in many other programmes. I stuck to their nutritional programme and put in the gym time and I lost a total of 6% body fat. The hardest part for me was the first 2 weeks because my body craved all the things that I needed to cut down on. After those two weeks my mood started to lift, I started to see physical changes and I had energy that I hadn’t felt in 6 years. Going forward I am performing better at work and in life as I have this new eat up and go attitude. I would thoroughly recommend sweat to anyone!! Just stick to the programme and you’ll see results.

Negative experience: As per multiple reviews below, the sales person at Sweat mis-sold the 6 week challenge and never informed me about the 5% body fat clause. He was very quick to take the deposit and didn't go through the clauses explicitly. Rather, this was made clear to me during the 3 week review. I tried multiple times to resolve this and come to amicable agreements which fell on deaf ears. Had I known this before, I wouldn't have signed up for the challenge as I am already quite active and reaching the 5% goal wasn't realistic. Trainers are fine and nothing to do with this, but stay clear from this company to avoid losing your £495 money and wasting your time. When I approached the company with this issue, they were nasty in communication and tried to reply in ways which blamed it on me and it was all quite stressful.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to be healthier, fitter and to lose some weight, Sweat is the place for you! In just a few weeks I have: - lost 5 kg -improved my eating habits, having healthier food, eating breakfast and rarely having sweets (which for someone who used to have a large amount of sweets every day is quite. a big change) -have considerably more energy throughout the day and get more done -have made the commitment to go to the gym 3 times a week -had lots of fun training with the best personal trainers

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They have made me so upset that I'm sick. I was pressured into signing a contract that i didn't want. Then I legally cancelled the contract before it began and a couple hours after but they still took my money and then have not refunded me. They took ages to respond initially and then have refused to respond to me despite promising to do so and won't respond to my numerous emails or requests for information. I have been left in limbo and distraught.

Lucy Moyler 7 years ago

Negative experience: They lure you in with offers of free trainers etc then after a 45 min consultation, slap a £500 bill on the table for a 6 week fitness course. If they're as good as they state then they'd be more upfront about their fees and less of the time wasting.

Anastasia Sevostyanova 7 years ago

Positive experience: Was a member a while ago. Semi-private means just circuit training which is good but it is too expensive. The gym is not comfortable and the changing rooms were not always clean, lockers lacked keys and were quite small. Changed them for a nearby big chain with swimming pool where for cheaper you have more similar classes in a better setting. The club is not bad but it is too expensive.

Fantastic experience: The Sweat 6 Week Challenge was a transformative experience and one that has totally reshaped not just my body, but my entire approach to working out, eating, my health and well-being. I have never been involved in a programme like this, the classes and challenges that I was put through tested me to the limit and through each session I could see a complete transformation in my fitness ability and strength. The team at Sweat are a fantastic bunch and really help to encourage you to constantly push yourself that extra 10/20% you wouldn’t normally do at a regular gym. I was delighted to lose 6% of body fat and the results are totally visible, especially with the muscle mass that I added. Massive thanks to the Sweat team, I couldn’t have made the progress without their guidance, support and encouragement.

Negative experience: I regret ever getting in contact with Sweat. The manager and sales person just care about the money and not about their customers. Sweat advertises their 6-week challenge as free. But during the consultation I was told the first time that a 397 GBP deposit has to be paid. After asking the sales person two times whether I will get the money back if I provide the required pictures, videos and attend all sessions he agreed to it. However, after 3 weeks I was told that I have to hit 5% fat loss in order to get my money back which wasn’t made clear to me. I would have never signed up for the challenge, if I would have known that before. I have met several other people who also felt misinformed about this clause and didn’t know about the 5% before. The manager was not willing to talk to me and emails were not responded.

Fantastic experience: Lost 8.1% body fat and 15 years off my metabolic age in 6 weeks! What else do I need to say? My experience with SWEAT gym has been fantastic. The trainers are knowledgeable supportive and very friendly and as it is a small niche gym you get to know everyone pretty quickly and don't get that 'i shouldn't be here feeling' that you get at some larger gyms. The challenge is designed around a strict regime of 3 training sessions per week with a maximum of 10 people. Every session I went to varied in the combination of exercises which kept it challenging and interesting. Using the recipe book was a must for me and I now regularly bulk cook the chilli and the chicken rice pepper pot for the freezer for when I am in a rush or don't feel like cooking. The fruit and nut porridge has also become a favourite. I also cannot recommend using myfitness pal enough to log your food and ensure you are maintaing the right balance of carbs, healthy fats and proteins. Basically I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to re-energise their health and fitness routine and get incredible results in just 6 weeks!! Thank you SWEAT - this challenge has been incredible for me and I definitely will not be going back to my old ways!

Marko Petrov 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: The SWEAT team is great. I have managed to lose 6.6% of body fat during their 6 weeks challenge, I lost 5kg of total weight but also gained 2kg of muscles which means I lost 7kg of pure fat!!! Important is to come to the sessions three times per week and follow their nutritionist advices, eat healthy, drink plenty of water and the results will come. Really there is no philosophy your body needs certain number of calories when you are not doing anything, if you create a calorie deficit (input less per day than you are spending during trainings and other activity) you will inevitably lose weight :) The team at SWEAT will measure that for you. Highly recommended! Good luck ;)

Tammi Gough 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: Honestly if I can do this anyone can!! Thank you Sweat clubs for the last 6 weeks your encouragement has been amazing Ask anyone of my friends I was not someone who went to the gym or classes. The main reason was I was scared of looking stupid because I just had no idea what to do other than run on a treadmill (and even then I wasn’t sure if I was doing that right), the other reason was just laziness, making excuses and the fact I would rather go out with my friends for a drink I can’t say this challenge is easy but it’s possible The things I did to make it work were that... 1. I made the decision to commit to it fully 2. Followed a healthy eating plan to fuel my body correctly and support my workouts 3. Attended 3 classes at Sweat a week 4. Drank plenty of water 5. Believed I could do it I needed to make a change and that’s exactly what the six week challenge has made me do I’ve even built some upper body strength that I’ve never had before. Ask any of the trainers at Sweat who asked me to do a press-up in the first couple of weeks, I gave it a go but I’m not sure they were impressed (they had to keep making the exercise easier to give me half a chance of doing it) I’ve genuinely learnt so much through the programme and the trainers have pushed me where their felt I could do more. They are so supportive and keep you going, offering advice when I asked. I would recommend Sweat’s six week challenge to anyone It’s the best thing I have done for myself in a long time to actively improve my health and fitness

Negative experience: Whatever you do don’t go anywhere near this club. I have just been granted judgement in small claims to get my money back. Sell themselves as tailored to you but actually provide generic advice and terrible service. “Semi-private training” is just circuits... spend your money on an actual private trainer and stay well clear of this waste!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed the new 4 week Strength Program after 18 months of the HIIT sessions. I was pushed beyond my plateau and gained muscle while losing body fat. I loved the sessions with Ella and highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next challenge.

Fantastic experience: Sweat offer small instructor led classes that focus on different body parts each day of the week. I had been doing regular exercise but was not losing weight from particular areas. with the diet plan alongside more balanced exercise, I started to see positive results pretty quickly.

Devon Hettiarachchi 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I have recently completed the 6 week challenge and have enjoyed every second of it. SWEAT club is nothing like I have experienced before, gyms I have been to in the past are unwelcoming with limited direction and zero encouragement and SWEAT is the exact opposite. I have learnt so much from the instructors, not just about what I should be doing in the gym but also outside of the the gym. The sessions are varied and keeps you on your toes and I have managed to achieve the body fat loss I was aiming for because of joining SWEAT. Overall I have had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic experience: SWEAT EAT REPEAT is the new mantra of my life SWEAT has changed my life in a very very positive way and i am very passionate about it.. I am a 35 year old mother of two boys aged 8 and 3 , always being underweight till i was expecting my first baby when i was just 50 kg i've never had health issues but due to hormonal changes my body suffered a lot of trauma post birth with both of them , had to undergo emergency c- section in 2013 and recovery was long and gained approximately 12-13 kgs in a very short time and my weight had reached 83 kgs meaning more stress, tiredness, aches and pains in the body specially my legs , became a member of a elite gym in canary wharf , but it never motivated me , even for the amount i was paying every month for a year and never used their gym floor ..anyway i remember my dad used to say things happen for a reason and they happen at a time that is right for you Yes, SWEAT happened to me at the right time when i actually needed something very positive , the sudden loss of my father gave me the biggest shock of life , the man i loved the most was gone , leaving me with anxiety, heavy palpitation, sleepless nights ,was prescribed sleeping pills etc, i remember the morning when i was sitting at the corner of the couch browsing facebook first thing i saw was an advert from SWEAT the BODY TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME , i don't know what struck my head but the name SWEAT itself sounded so exciting that i filled out the form and that was it , the FIRST step to changing my life was taken :).. I received a call from Musty (club manager) after a brief talk scheduled to meet him at the club , i will never forget the day when i first met Musty , his detailed explanation of what to expect from the programme was amazing, i laughed when he said i wasn't eating enough, i now know why ;),the confidence he build in me was appreciating , my imagination had no boundaries when i entered the club as it was not like the gym i thought would be , it was DIFFERENT , i just loved it ,the club felt so welcoming ,warm and cozy ..one of the best INVESTMENT decision i could have made for my body . My journey with SWEAT has been awesome involving a lot of hard work, the 12 week programme is designed beautifully it helped me get into a better lifestyle routine gradually and made the transition easy , its designed for everyone, i enjoy the small group trainings and later took up on PT sessions as well, the atmosphere is so peaceful and calm , the trainers are very friendly, and so are the members, exercises are demonstrated prior to each session which helps me understand the right technique required so no worry of injury , the team is very approachable , they really care for their members and constantly reminds us for nutritional calls and measurements to keep a good track of progress made , the quality of services received is excellent ,one can never be bored here, there is always something to look forward to ,like different challenges to participate in , live webinars on health related topics by Liz Penny (the founder )are so educational ..to conclude have dropped down from dress size 16 to 12, weight from 83 kgs to 74 kgs, lost massive inches and looking fitter day by day , leg pain and anxiety was sorted without medication in just in few months of working out ,i have come a long way from not being able to squat at all to a full squat, lifting weights and always challenging myself sweating out at SWEAT has proved to be positive in every aspect helping me achieve the lost me , making me fall in LOVE with MYSELF ..it is more rewarding when people see the physical changes in you and compliment, my friends and family , teachers at my kids school praise me for my hard work and recognises SWEAT for helping me achieve my goals, my boys are so so proud of their mommy , my younger one when he was just 2 1/2 could read SWEAT ;))))) massive thank you to my husband and kids for dropping and picking me from SWEAT in the initial few weeks and supporting my decision, i would STRONGLY recommend SWEAT to anyone .

Melissa Christie 8 years ago

Negative experience: If I could have given them 0 stars I would, if this was an option. I was sold a three month gym membership program for £850, for a "small group" training (max 8 people) to be used for 3 times per week. The training is essentially a circuit training where you rotate around equipment and lasts 40 min including stretch outs. Musty the seller called me after I had filled in a form online to get a "free" consultation session and I went (wish I never did). This was actually a sales meeting where the program was presented to me as if I was saving on a personal trainer and he promised me customised nutrition which turned out to be a 30 min quick call with generic advise that I could have found online. I was given a PDF document with some diets that can be downloaded for free. Musty made this program sound like the best super exclusive VIP program, when what it really is a £283.33 monthly gym fee for some group training which barely varies from class to class. I was sold this program as if I was going to get personal nutrition and almost PT for "only" £283.33 pm. I wish I had just signed up to Pure Gym for £39.99 pm and I would have been happier. The program is not designed for beginners they tell you to lift heavy weights and I ended up with a knee injury. I went to the doctor and got a note of the injury. In the T&C they say that if injury happens you are entitled a refund, but the specifics of the injury are not defined. I delivered my note only to get rejected and almost made fun of when Musty said "I am sorry you are in this situation, but no refund can be given because this is not an injury" when they never even define what an in jury means in their T&C. Afterwards, I managed to get my money back thanks to Master Card (in fact £800) still pay them £50 (what they actually are worth with a bit of luck) and they sent me a horrible email harassing me as if do not have an injury when I have proof of it. Sweat clubs also refused to provide an escalation contact to take the matter further. Email below (she doesn't even know how to spell): Dear Mellisa, I am writing to you in relation to a charge back we have just received for a 12 week training program you purchased in June 2017. I am sure this is just an error on your part, however I am informing you that we will be defending this dispute in full in line with our terms and conditions of service. I would strongly advise you to contact you back immediately and rectify this issue before 20th August 2017 and provide proof to us that the chargeback has been cancelled before this date. Should you not retract the charge back, and in the unlikely event that we are unable to successfully dispute the charge back, we will be issuing county court proceedings against you for the sum of £800, plus a daily interest of 8% starting 7th August 2017, WITH IMMEDIATE EFECT and WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE. You will also be liable for all of our legal fee's and expenses. All interested and fees incurred in dealing with this from 7th August 2017 will be issued. This is not something that we take very likely and its very sad that you feel that you can purchase a service, use it and then claim a refund via your bank. I would stress however, that you have agreed to a contract, you have used our services and this will be upheld in court and as a result you will incur a CCJ. I do hope this can be resolved before 20th August. Kind regards Liz Penny. Those people even dared send me a small claim court in the post when they don't even read their T&C that say that you can get a refund with proof. Now I have this paper work to do. They are super hostile and horrible. Once you slightly disagree with them they will do anything to put you down. My worst experience ever with any purchase in my whole life! Avoid them at ALL COST!!!!!!! Thanks.
