Negative experience: Decent basic get what u need to get done staff polite apart from one lady called Karen very rude and not polite to customers

Fantastic experience: Very clean, spacious changing facilities.

Negative experience: I don’t usually like leaving bad reviews but the blonde haired woman on the front desk in the gym has a proper attitude. Put me off my membership, considering cancelling. Many times I’ve let it go thinking she may be having a bad day but time and time again she’s blunt, rude, shakes her head and huffs if you scan your card whilst trying to sign in and she’s “doing something” (how am I meant to know) maybe put a sign up to say don’t scan until we’re ready or leave the scanner on your part of the desk. Even my guest who I brought has decided not to sign up because of her. Will look at moving elsewhere. I recommend customer service training or move to less customer facing role.

Negative experience: Turned up but was not allowed in as we are not local!(Sittingbourne) seemed sesion is run by a charity for islanders so was asked to wait 40 minutes.Was then told children's pool was closing. Won’t be visiting again!

Negative experience: Christmas opening times says 3pm finish for today. Got there and they said the sheet is wrong and it’s 2pm. Why is the sheet wrong? 2pm finish when most gyms are 24 hours or at least 6pm is poor hence the 1 star.

Negative experience: Gym and staff fantastic, can't fault them at all. Swimming pool and certain gobby swimming instructors and the awful timetable for adults to attempt to swim.. shocking. Was informed "Lane Swimming" at a certain time and two thirds of the pool wasn't available due to childrens swimming lessons, was informed by a rude member of staff that it's ok that 10 adults of different swimming abilities can all swim in one lane. Whilst she teaches two children in a lane during the lane swimming session. Not fit for purpose for people who actually want to swim. If you're a child or someone that wants to float about doing nothing then this is the place for you

Negative experience: Our 3 children had swimming lessons here, lessons constantly cancelled, dreadful instructors apart from a couple, facilities are extremely basic and unclean. I wouldnt bother with this place or it's swimming lessons it's a waste of money!

Fantastic experience: Really really helpfully staff!! especially Gina, I was really worried as I have previously moved and paying for a membership I don’t use, however gina made sure she sorted my contract out . This has been a massive help as this is something she did not need to do but she went out of her way to even ring me back up later after speaking to head office. Could not reccomend enough, the best customer service I have had for a long time!

Negative experience: Very, very expensive if you want to use the gym without being a member. I paid 2.40 to park (which I got refunded some of) then paid about £10 for using the gym for one hour. I wanted to use the gym whilst on holiday for a week. They had no weekly deals either, so i would have had to pay around £70 to use the gym for 1 week. The gym itself is what you would expect for a council run gym.

Fantastic experience: Lovely facilities...we are so lucky to have that near by..they truly are amazing , the staff are good too...sometimes you will get racist staff but that's normal, not everyone is same, lifeguard are doing great job in swimming areas as it's always clean and young people are working with smile on which is amazing. Thank you for giving lot of facilities and clubs and fun activities.

Negative experience: My kids are using the swimming pool (small one) and it is most of the time very cold, especially during the lessons. Why can't it be warmed up for the comfort of children and teachers?

Fantastic experience: I visited Sheppey FM radio station which I think is all part of the complex. Top community radio station. They do a lot of good work behind the scenes for local people which is probably why they were chosen for a royal visit in front of other local stations. Recommended.

Positive experience: Good decent gym with the basic equipment and a sports hall. The parking lot gets a bit busy. Nice location close to the Sheerness beach front.

Positive experience: Generally a good gym with good and various equipment, shame some of the equipment has been lost since lockdown and apparently might not return, such as the power plate, which was really popular with members. Staff are friendly and professional although somewhat lacking in interaction with gym members but are happy to help out if requested. Good range of classes at reasonable cost and at various times to suit everybody's schedules. There are better gyms around but these are more expensive and frankly don't really offer much more to the average gym goer. All in all a great place to work out and get a little fitter.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely a hidden treasure, they have sandpit for kids all ages with slides swings etc skate park and a little splash park as well. The beach has been given 4 stars blue award with actual lifeguards plenty of benches to sit on and enjoy the view as well walking

Positive experience: A well used sports and recreation centre with the addition of a doctors surgery, healthy living centre, on the first floor. Several rooms to rent for classes or exercise classes, fitness gym with all the usual pieces of equipment to get fit. Changing rooms and toilets / showers. Large main hall, split into several smaller areas for multi use. Paid parking to the front of the centre with the sea wall to its rear

Positive experience: I have been to the swimming pool. The staff was very nice to explain me the covid 19 procedures. They were very organised between the groups of people and the changing rooms and corridors were dried and cleaned in between. I would have put 5 stars if only the showers were private.

Positive experience: Good place to go swimming in Sheerness and perfect for people who have young kids and can't get off the Island easily.

Negative experience: No heating, changing cloth after poll is terrible expireance if you are not polar bear.

Positive experience: Given the COVID 19 situation the gym has tackled it very well by maintaining social distance, putting up a pre booking section before members can come workout and is very helpful with the cleaning process. The gym can have a few more equipment but has more than enough to get a good workout in.

Positive experience: First day under new covid restrictions. My son enjoyed it. We had both missed it. New one way system easy. And changing rooms open for use on way out only. Will be going back again. Website had a few problems but hopefully that is sorted now. Staff we re very helpful on the phone with website issues. Would like to see childrens pool open too though. I can t see any reason to have it closed personally.

Fantastic experience: It's open! Whilst other places are closed. Wide range of activities if you can book in early enough. Reduced numbers in classes which makes it difficult to get a slot in the busy periods But it is Open for business!

Negative experience: Went for a day out , wasn't much to do and everything around looked depressed, we returned home after an hour there , the journey was lounger than actually stay !

Negative experience: Seriously outdated!! Was shocked after swimming here for the first time since being a child. It's exactly the same minus the fun stuff the walls are peeling the floor tiles are all cracked (dangerous) how is this place even still open to the public? AVOID AT ALL COST

Negative experience: Sports hall facilities: Below average facilities, often refused entry as the roof is "leaking" as they're in the process of getting a new roof (they have been for the last 15 years according to the staff) and they only tell you when you arrive despite it apparently leaking all day. The equipment door on the indoor pitch never closes properly often causing disruptions. When you book a court online for any racquet sports you pay for the court, and are then charged entry apon arrival too (why is this not displayed/included?), meaning that instead of paying £10 for a court for 4 on a weekday evening you actually have to pay £18 for an hour on quarter of a court for less than the hour you've payed for (as the nets will inevitably not be set up/taken down at the end, so you'll have to wait while this is done during the time you've payed for). This review is not aimed at the staff as they are often helpful despite being poorly organised.

No WiFi I’ve been in there nearly 1 year now and never work and when you ask the stuff working in there you can’t get no answer and the men’s toilet is not good at all. And I can’t wait for my Contract to finish so I can go and find better gym place. And it’s lots of another stuff is .....Thanks

Positive experience: Shower rooms a little out dated not individual cubicles, lockerooms felt like anyone could just walk in, machines were outdated also. This place is in desperate need of a renovation. We would go to the gym to be told that they were closing because not enough people were in the gym I think staff just wanted to go home early. If you live on the island don't go to this gym go to Snap fitness in Queenborough.
