Woodford Green Library & Gym

Negative experience: Extremely slow service. Asian lady with the hijab and glasses at reception has an underlying attitude problem with black customers. Not helpful nor welcoming

Positive experience: Great and a warm place to study, but the toilet is very cold and could be cleaned more often.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, good atmosphere, clean and friendly stuff. Doesn’t get super busy, could just do with some heavier weights

Negative experience: The first one Is too expensive, and isn’t not have - enough machine

Negative experience: I pay £60 per month for this gym, and half the running machines are broken and none of the machines have internet connection or functional bluetooth. There are only two changing rooms, which are also the toilets and also the showers. I need to shower and go to work after a workout, and every time people are banging on the door and rattling the handle. I pay a luxury fee for this gym, and shouldn’t have to queue up for something as a basic as a running machine or to go to the toilet/shower/changing room. There aren’t even simple bathroom scales!

Positive experience: Small library.. clean, tidy, helpful staff

Positive experience: Nice little library. Not the biggest selection of books, but the library was fairly busy for a Fri evening.

Negative experience: Gym costs almost double what it should do and it’s always so busy especially if you’re looking do any weights !

Negative experience: I have been calling them for the past hour! They keep hanging up the phone. Then wonder why no one is joining their gym!

Fantastic experience: Great little gym! Allows walk ins. Well equipped, great air con and not overly busy. Great equipment for both serious lifting and cardio as well.

Negative experience: This library doesn’t have enough plug ports, so annoying!

Positive experience: Took my son here for Rhyme Time; we both really enjoyed it. Could perhaps do with some musical instruments to make it more interactive and more chairs! Fantastic for a free class, we will be back

Fantastic experience: I live in barking but I come here to text my friend who li es on the high road so good library even I have to walk 10 minutes but still good ex cerise 100 percent this library is good only problem they have no toilet but at least Costa is next door where you can go toilet

Positive experience: Can't help thinking Redbridge council is trying to make this library less appealing as they have with Hawkey Hall. In the 14 years I have been using this library I've seen the book selection reduced and the over and above services the staff used to provide disappear. This is still a good library and the more people who visit, the more chance there is of this much needed facility staying open.
