Fantastic experience: Best staff ever pure gym Dewsbury as

Fantastic experience: Having been at kal for many years which was amazing i joined pure from day one, love the 24 hour concept and i find the staff very friendly and approachable, its a work in progress as pure try to adapt and change to suit custumer needs. Great inovations like alway having a senior management staff on hand during busy times, looking forward to many years of workouts.... .hopefully

Positive experience: This gym is great the women's section is lovely, a little disappointed as there r some male workers that walk in and out through the ladies workout section, heads up the hijabi ladies to cover up as I have seen male cleaner walk around the ladies section to clean the area.

Negative experience: Main entrance door is so badly desingned and installed poorly in such an position that brings inside the Gym only cold air from outside.. And when you are warmed up from your exercise does not makes you feel well

Positive experience: It’s ok for a commercial gym 1st timers & older gym users. Plenty of cardio upstairs, big floor space for classes, stretching etc. my opinion not enough machines for back and shoulders. 1 calf raise machine, as I say for a commercial gym it has everything you need. Prices are really good. Gets busy at peak times like any other gym.

Negative experience: I gave one star due to staff being rude when asked if the air con was working I had many people complaining how hot it was during the summer you couldn't breath it was like a greenhouse. The staff are arrogant and unprofessional I've seen them walk past young guys who haven't a clue how to train safely or what they are doing a serious injury waiting to happen. The bars are always full of chalk the toilets stink awful with urine on the floor at times I've had to leave to use the toilets in sainsburys

Negative experience: Freezing cold in the morning "no heating" might as well train in the car park. also some of the staff are so rude including the assistant manager she speak to some gym members like her own staff or something. she suppose to lead by example... she might need some training about a good customer service it might be benefical for her. instead of going out and walking with that monsterous sign on her back she can try be more polite and welcoming and helpful to existing members that alone might bring more customers. if you can't look after your existing members how do you expect to go get more?? generaly I dont rate this gym. a lack of more experienced staff.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. So clean and so tidy. The ladies aerea has everything you need, the changing room and bathroom are spotless ! Favourite new gym!

Fantastic experience: The Best

Positive experience: Great gym generally although was a little disappointing when nothing was said to the 3 guys in ill fitting flipflops leaving weights and empty bottles all over the shop

Negative experience: no air conditioning and the changing rooms always stink of eggs and sweat, always stinks like heck in the gym, the sink is unusable if you have big hands, u can barely fit ur hands under the tap and not hit the sink, might aswell remove the dryer as it barely dries ur hands better to air dry at this point, big pee stains on the sides of the urinals, beard hairs always left on the sinks, staff always yapping to put ur stuff in the lockers like let me work out in peace no one’s dumb enough to trip over it if i place them out the way, chalk always on random barbells or on the floor, stinks of eggs again near the water fountain, bathroom smells like a war zone every time u go in there needs better air circulation in the bathroom to get the smell out as it’s unbearable

Negative experience: What a con! Took advantage of the opening offers at Dewsbury for 12 months at 16.99 because it was the closest one to my home and I could use the Runcorn one when visiting my parents which I have to do a lot because they are quite unwell. Tried to access the Runcorn one yesterday morning and could not. Managed let me in and told me to email member support which I did and got an automated response. Contacted them on Messenger instead to be told because Dewsbury only costs 25.99 a month but they have decided to put the price up at Runcorn to 27.99 a month my only option would be to cancel my membership and join Runcorn so basically pay 27.99 a month for what I signed up to pay 16.99 a month. Total rip off! I guess you get what you pay for which in this case is not a lot.

Positive experience: New, clean, friendly staff. I've not seen it busy yet whether going at morning or night. Good selection of machines and weights. Changing rooms clean, tidy and more than adequate. Would recommend.

Positive experience: Standard gym and a complete sweatfest due to the lack of aircon

Fantastic experience: Decent, well-maintained gym with attentive staff. The equipment is modern and allows for well-balanced workouts. I also appreciate the 24hr access as I frequently wake up with the lark.

Negative experience: Friday 26th April. 05:30. Not open. Enjoyed the walk down to this '24 hour' gym. 0630. The group of people waiting outside are getting fed up and are leaving

Negative experience: Brand new gym and the electrics blow and we all get kicked out. 2 weeks it's been open great start.

Fantastic experience: Great addition to local area, everything you need, clean and inviting and as a female training alone, feels really safe.

Fantastic experience: A good new gym with most of the equipment you would expect at a gym. Weights section is good. Have a separate women’s area, fitness studio and changing rooms. No steep incline treadmill. Free parking.

Positive experience: Standard Puregym.

Negative experience: Waited months for a gym to open only for the CEO to come up with this. Disappointed, no other local gyms.

Negative experience: Think it’s great £10.99 a month but then after a year almost double tempting to join for 1 year but then leave.

Positive experience: Would love to know when this place opens beyond a vague 'coming soon'! Edit: Now coming some time in April!
