Positive experience: Gym is fine, although broken equipment takes 3+ months to fix and also the weights don’t go up high enough because I’m too beast

Positive experience: Sports centre staff not especially welcoming with a couple sadly lacking basic common courtesy.

Positive experience: Decent gym, staff are always friendly and it is kept clean. It could benefit from more equipment such as Olympic weight plates, etc but there is enough to get a good workout. If there could be an autism hour it would be greatly appreciated as I often experience sensory overload due to how loud the music is played (to the point I can’t even hear the music I’m playing through my headphones) even at 6am when there is hardly anyone at the gym.

Negative experience: Great gym and was all good until I tried cancelling my membership after several years. Kept being told by the staff that I had to cancel my membership via the app but the app kept telling me my membership was already cancelled so clearly a problem in the system that nobody wanted to help me with. Finally decided to cancel my DD so that money was not taken. Got emailed by the collections team to say I still owed a final payment so of course contested this and explained the cancellation issue but they were not having it and went on to add late payment fees even though I was in conversation with all parties about the issue of not been able to cancel in the app. Can’t understand how their issue has caused so much admin and £45 of extra costs and nobody wants to help get to the bottom of this problem and now they have sent the debt onto a debt collection agent. Appalling service especially as all the various departments are outsourced to third parties who have no interest in resolving issues. No wonder SLL will not be running the centre from April 24 and contract given to a new company.

Negative experience: Poor service , classes cancelled when we arrived several times , non plus staff , shrug shoulders . Eventually had enough and cancelled membership now fighting with debt company because the sharks charge admin fees , suggest you drop this jobworth facility

Fantastic experience: Stumbled across this hidden gem having moved from London to Baldock in Feb 2022. A great gym with decent equipment availability, good vibe and very nice fitness staff. Would highly recommend to beginners, intermediate and advanced athletes.

Positive experience: Well located for local people. A varied programme of classes and never seems overly busy, so you get better availability of the equipment. Doesn't have a steam room or sauna though, which is a shame. Great that they have a 5G all weather football pitch.

Positive experience: Great little gym for a small town. Been a member since 2018. They lost some people that seemed to really care and some others are just sitting there in apathy. Listen to your clients and turn down the volume of that awful music.
