Fantastic experience: The hotel is lovely with very nice staff. The location is very and quiet just good for people who want to get away from busy cities or crowds. Plenty of parking. If coming with a coach give a call ahead just to be sure for parking. The A46 is few minutes away, M40 10 minutes away. Stratford-upon-Avon is less then 10 minutes drive or you can take the bus, 15-20 minutes to the centre, bus stop next to car park entrance. The spa is very nice, clean and tidy with proper gym right next to the swimming pool. Swimming pool is nice could have deeper end. Sauna is good. The spa always has a staff member. The eating and bar area offerd good seatings and you don't feel cramped in. Check in-out goes easy, but with big groups during summer can take a little longer. The food is tasty. My room was cosy, comfy bed, clean and tidy, wifi is very good.

Fantastic experience: I went to a Christmas party at this venue - first ever visit, and very impressed. Food was fantastic, easily one of the best meals at an event of this kind I’ve had, and all the group I was with agreed. Service was excellent and efficient, staff all very friendly and hard working. The evening was also very well organised. Very impressed, and would return anytime.

Fantastic experience: Great hotel and the staff were on point! I had an incident with one of the irons in the room where it damaged a shirt of mine and I raised this with the hotel staff and they were so prompt in responding to me and making sure that I was compensated and within the space of a week sent me a replacement shirt like for like without any hesitation or arguments. Accidents can happen in all circumstances but how a company reacts to such situations is absolutely essential and I couldn’t fault their proactiveness. My thanks go to the entire team for such a genuine and professional approach by turning a negative situation into a very positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Just had our spa weekend here and it was lovely staff were attentive and friendly, our room was clean and had everything we needed, we had our evening meal and breakfast here too both was lovely and staff was great. Negative experience: The room faced on to the road which was very noisy and the windows weren't sealed so they let in so much cold air. The radiator in the room didn't work and we had to wait until the following morning for an engineer. I reported the problem at 4pm on a Tuesday so we were surprised that it couldn't be fixed sooner. Lack of attention to detail throughout the stay (there was a long black hair in the sink, the shower head leaked, my fish was served upside down, my burger bun was burnt, there were no side plates for sharing dishes, water wasn't offered, the wine was delivered to the table but the bottle was unopened and we were left to pour it ourselves, there were no glasses in the room for water). Not really a 4 star experience!

Fantastic experience: Great place to stop to then venture into Stratford. Lots todo here. Clean rooms. Lovely restaurant. Had breakfast which was so good. Only complaint really was the room doors closed loudly and guests next door and across hall had no respect for other guests. Not hotels fault.

Positive experience: A deluxe room is ok. The rooms are not 4 star to my expectations. The building entrance and corridors are very clean and decor is good. The room we stayed in was a deluxe. Very clean room but a few scuff marks on the walls, knocks of paint off of skirting and wood work. Ok to stay but for the money and 4 star should be better!

Fantastic experience: Spent a couple of nights here with the grandchildren. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with plenty of parking. About 5 minutes drive to Stratford upon Avon centre so well located. We had a family room that was a good size. Pool facilities good with set aside times for children and adults. The pool area is good but needs a bit of refreshing to be excellent. Sauna steam room gymn and spa all here Resturant excellent with well cooked food and a childs menu. A great stay.

Fantastic experience: Beautifully decorated, extremely friendly helpful staff, great spa. Facilities and swimming pool, games room for younger guests, frisbee golf, cinema. They have regular events. Food is beautiful ❤️ The staff recognised we were celebrating our anniversary and sent prosecco on ice to our room along with a card. I would recommend on booking, if you require your room on ground level, there are lifts to some areas but not all. The bar has a light menu as well as a restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. Absolutely loved this hotel

Fantastic experience: Business visit, extensive facilities for company conferences and workshops, comfortable rooms, ensuites with shower over bath, food very good and a well stocked bar. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. About a two mile drive from the town.

Fantastic experience: Stayed recently. Mattress too firm for our liking and I would guess not pocket Sprung, so that needs some investment but a clean room with nice toiletries and bed linen/comfy pillows. Restaurant etc looked like it had recently been refurbished. Marie, the restaurant manager was very professional and welcoming and we had a good giggle. Excellent gluten free options which were cooked fresh to order (fish and chips - tempura style batter, exceptional!) Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Improved mattresses would make it perfect.

Positive experience: Amazing team of staff, very helpful and welcoming. Very dog friendly. Rooms a little dated but practical and comfortable. The dog beds were a hit with our boy. Bar staff make great espresso martinis. Food of a good standard, good variety at breakfast.

Fantastic experience: Room was really nice and very clean (118) only thing I didn't like was the shower, hot or cold it couldn't make it's mind up ! Service from the staff was fantastic they really work hard and always polite with a smile on. Treatment I received was really good (fit for business) definitely recommend restaurant, the food, the staff are amazing really enjoyed it Overall I'd definitely recommend anyone to go.

Positive experience: We went for a spa day. The facilities were outdated and it felt more like a council swimming pool than a spa. The treatments from the girls were good but the rest of the experience was pretty lacking. The lunch was decent.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for one night to make a long journey a little less arduous. Turned out to be possibly the highlight of the trip, if it’s got a swimming pool and a sauna I’m in . The steam room wasn’t working which was a bit gutting. The service was excellent as was the food.

Fantastic experience: A huge thankyou to the wonderful team at Stratford Manor who made my best friends hen celebration so special. There were 12 of us to manage, alongside another huge group and another hen do too who stayed at the same time! From the moment of booking back in February, the team were so communicative with me, arranging menus, times, checking in with the plans and making sure all was okay and if I had any questions. A special shout out to Rally who was just amazing and really went above and beyond for us. We booked the Girls Night In package (8+ more people) and I couldn't recommend it enough if planning something special with your own group of ladies. We were really well looked after, and our spa treatments, food and cocktails were wonderful. The breakfast had fantastic choice too. The only negatives I would mention is that the water pressure of the showers in our rooms was really poor - though it may be because so many of us in ajoining rooms were trying to use at once. Of course the illusive steam room that is forever out of service was a negative but we managed fine with the lovely sauna and pool to chill in.

Negative experience: A mixed bag! All Staff (bar the General Manager who is terrible at Customer Service and friendliness) were lovely despite being overstretched in a full hotel. Decor was a bit dated and needed a revamp. Bed was comfy but parts if the room were falling apart and we had a problem with the cold water supply which we reported twice but wasn't rectified during our stay. Good breakfast. Room was a good size and only a short drive into Stratford. Dark and quiet room so I slept...unusual for me! No aircon but provided a fan. Won't return here.

Fantastic experience: Just spent a fantastic week at the hotel at a Bootcamp - food , service, and location was excellent. Everyone at the hotel was amazing. Great spa facilities too, and very cozy bedrooms. A special Shout Out to Megan from the events team who looked after us for the week I was there . She was fabulous, patient with all the special requests, and bright and friendly every day. I’ll be back next year for another Bootcamp .

Negative experience: Pretty tired no air conditioning in rooms, bathroom tired, corridors dingy and battered. No restaurant open in evening had to eat in bar, breakfast not available till after 7am.

However all rooms are provided with a fan which can be found in the wardrobes. Our restaurant is open from 6pm and last orders at 9:15pm and food is served from mid day till 9:15pm in the lounge area. Our breakfast also starts from 7 until 10 on the week days and 8 till 11 on the weekends. We appreciate all the feedback that is provided. Once again, many thanks!

Positive experience: I give this hotel review 3 Star because that's all I think it was worth, I do not believe its upto a 4 star as they claim. The rooms were no different to a Travelodge infact not as good as some of their refurbished sites. The beds were only double size and were pretty uncomfortable and the duvets were feather down and we found then very heavy and uncomfortable. The rooms were really hot even thou they had a fan in them. The showers in the rooms are also dangerous as the water is red hot and even with the hot tap turned of on the hand shower is still red hot and could burn someone. The Spa was really dissapointing, there's no hot tub and the steam room is broken The swimming pool was dirty and had grease and scum around the tiles on the side. Only 1 staff member stood out to us and that was the guy with the beard serving on the bar. They brand the hotel as pet friendly yes no where on the site is there a bin to put doggy bags. Return - No I don't think we would and its not worth the money....

Positive experience: I stayed for two nights for business. Overall stay was okay, ruined slightly by customer service experience. Comfort 7/10 Facilities 8/10 Customer service 5/10 Overall 6/10 Pros: nice pool, sauna, steam room and gym facilities (although gym a little basic compared to other 4 star hotels). Comfortable and clean rooms, especially the pillows. Quiet location, ample parking including for electric vehicles. Cons: no air conditioning in the room meant it was a little uncomfortable at times- hard to control the temp in the room. Either open windows or use a rotating fan. Amenities in room could be better- basic TV and channels, coffee facilities could be improved. My customer experience was poor- checked in 45 minutes before pool closing time but was told it’s too close to closing time so not allowed to use these facilities. Next day again denied entry to the pool- first told that it is shutting early but in the same conversation then told last entry is at 9pm. So which one is it? This left me quite angry, frustrated and disappointed. The staff member on both occasions was the same and I felt was not honest, clear and accommodating. I expect better from a “4 star hotel”. I cannot comment on the other facilities as I did not use them. I enquired about the games room and cinema room- have to be booked in advance, extra fees apply. I paid £120 for a standard double room (after getting a discount through a 3rd party). This did not include breakfast- £12-15/day. With all the extra surcharges and overall experience I did not think this was as good value for money as other spa hotels I have stayed at in the same area. I think this is a good 3 star hotel but lacks some of the things that would make it as good as other 4 star hotels I’ve stayed at before. Stratford Manor- please train your reception staff to be more clear, for them to give time to go through the different facilities that are there and to be more accommodating. Also please consider longer opening times for the gym and pool (0630-2130 weekdays).

The reservation that was made was a Room Only Rate that doesn't include breakfast and this was booked third party. We are sorry to hear that the spa facilities timing were miscommunicated to you, you found your room to be hot and coffee and TV channels were disappointing. Our Front of House Manager has been made aware of the miscommunication of times regarding the spa facilities and has ensured that our Reception Team are made aware of the correct times. In regards to last facilities entrance, we don't have a cut off point, as long as all guests know the opening and closing hours. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning however a fan is provided in all bedroom wardrobes. We shall also take into consideration the TV channels for guests. Fantastic experience: A great location for Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, and Birmingham. Friendly staff and a lovely buffet breakfast. The room was perfect for a mini family break, and we made the most of the swimming pool and they supplied towels which is bonus so you don't need to worry about taking your own and drying them in your room. There are plenty of car parking spaces which you don't have to pay for.

Fantastic experience: Went for a short break, staff were very helpful and service in all areas was excellent. Maria and Zoe in the restaurant were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and comfortable, nice view over open field. There were a lot of families with children and dogs they seemed to be well catered for. Spa games room and bookable cinema. Lots of social space with comfortable seating which makes a very pleasant change to a lot of hotels.

Positive experience: The hotel and rooms are showing there age could do with some updating. We ate in the bar and waited over a hour for our food. The sevice is inconsistent the bar and reception staff are super friendly and efficient the couldn't do enough for you. The waiters they are rushed under staffed and know interactions with customers which is a shame. There is plenty of things to do like the spa, games room, frisbee golf, large chess. Also the hotel is dog friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean hotel. Nice room with comfy double bed and table and two chairs. Staff all friendly and helpful. Loads to do at the hotel - swimming, table tennis , arcade games, pool table and a friendly bar inside - sun loungers , large chess set and frisbee golf outside. Few minutes drive to Park and ride to access Stratford without any hassle.

Positive experience: We booked for the early May Bank Holiday due to it's proximity to Stratford Upon Avon. It's a couple of miles from the town centre, Shakespeare attractions and the river although not walkable (no footpath on main road). Rooms nice with added bonus of complimentary drinks and snacks. Main restaurant is elegant with good gluten free options although the bar next door has alot more gluten free options. Breakfast the first morning we informed a member of staff we were both gluten free and were asked if we wanted gf toast. We were shown the buffet. I quickly realised nothing in the buffet is labelled with allergens so not very helpful. I asked for help again and was told the only item on the food buffet we could not eat were the sausages. I asked for clarification on the hash browns and was told they were gluten free but then informed they are cooked in the same fryer as the fried bread.... So not gluten free! I asked if they could be freshly cooked and a lovely lady called Julie said they could turn up the separate gluten free fryer, which they did. She brought us some freshly cooked gf hash browns and we then went to the buffet to grab other items. We then realised that there was huge cross contamination due to other customers using the same utensils to get gluten and non gluten food items. We used forks etc to get our food. I explained to Julie the risk of contamination due to the utensils and she took it on board and apologised. The second morning I grabbed Julie and straight away she said our entire breakfast would be separately cooked and plated up in the kitchen so we didn't have to deal with contamination again! A beautiful cooked breakfast, cooked by chef Daniel, was delivered. Delicious. So if you have allergies, ask for Julie and she will sort everything out for you! Thank you Julie and Daniel!

Positive experience: Friendly staff, good service, decent facilities. The best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time (and I now have to travel around the UK and Europe so I’ve experienced a few). The bed was quite comfortable but the bathroom is very old fashioned, not only with a shower over bath but with a curtain around it! Who on earth has a curtain around their shower these days. Not good. But the breakfast compensates for that to a large degree. Oh, I nearly forgot, they served Halloumi at the restaurant, something I love and have/cook on a regular basis. What they served was not Halloumi, it was some strange set silicon textured thing that was slightly translucent. It didn’t have the taste or texture of Halloumi but also wasn’t offensive in any way, just strange.

Positive experience: This is a nice hotel in a lovely location just outside Stratford. Rooms are clean and well equipped with good Wi-Fi access. Good friendly service from staff. Bar nice but not a lot of character. Food was disappointing- I was there on business with a party of about 16. We had hot buffet at lunch time which actually was ok but small selection. Treacle tart delicious. Evening food was more disappointing- we had to preorder given party size - felt a bit like it had been left on hot plate a while - dry and not that exciting to be honest. Meeting room during the day was good size, basic but functional. I’ve knocked it down on my ratings because of evening food. But do remember lots of nice restaurants in Stratford albeit a short taxi drive away.

Negative experience: My recent stay at this hotel was a tale of contrasting experiences, featuring both delightful highlights and significant disappointments. While the warmth and attentiveness of the staff members were undoubtedly commendable, and the breakfast offerings were diverse and satisfying, there were several areas where the hotel's performance left much to be desired. Beginning with the accommodations, while my room was adequately clean and furnished, I couldn't help but notice the lack of attention to detail, particularly in the bathroom where the shower pressure left a lot to be desired. It was a minor inconvenience, but one that detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. Moving on to the spa facilities, I found them to be rather underwhelming. The space felt cramped, and the steam room, which I had eagerly anticipated, failed to deliver the rejuvenating experience I had hoped for. Instead of a soothing steam, it felt more akin to stepping into a damp box, lacking the invigorating atmosphere I had anticipated. Furthermore, the hotel's advertised amenities failed to live up to expectations. The cinema room, which had been promoted as a highlight, turned out to be a significant disappointment. Not only were the seats visibly dirty and sticky, but the absence of proper cleaning tools for the provided sweets meant guests had to resort to using their hands, raising concerns about hygiene and cleanliness standards. Similarly, the games room, which had promised entertainment aplenty, lacked the promised basketball hoops, leaving guests feeling shortchanged. These discrepancies, coupled with the subpar gym facilities, made it challenging to reconcile the hotel's purported four-star rating. Despite being advertised as a feature of the establishment, the gym was disappointingly basic, with minimal equipment and limited options for guests looking to maintain their fitness routines. While there were certainly bright spots during my stay, such as the aforementioned friendly staff and enjoyable breakfast options, the overall experience fell short of the expectations set by a four-star establishment. It's clear that improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to detail are necessary to bring this hotel up to the standard its rating suggests. With some enhancements, it has the potential to truly shine and provide guests with the exceptional experience they expect and deserve.

Negative experience: Never shared any details of our spa booking with us nor did they pick up the phone when I tried calling days beforehand. When we arrived we were informed that of our 4 hour relaxing spa usage, 2 hours of it would be without the pool, as they had children's swimming lessons. This information was never given to us before booking. Then, when they said we could have a refund, they then backtracked saying they couldn't as we needed to give 48 hours notice. They only gave us a refund after they had to clear it with head office. Shambles of a hotel. Avoid and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: After careful consideration and reading reviews I've decided to book this hotel for couple of days when traveling for holiday with my child to the historical town. And unfortunately we were not happy. We were hoping to use all the facilities for kids this hotel highlights on their website-and that's why I mainly booked it for. Our room was standard but for 4* hotel was really poor. No fridge, which if staying for couple of days with a child is something you kinda need. No bathroom kit or handsoap. Again that's something mostly 4* hotels provide. No basic glasses for a watter either. Room was located on ground floor and was super noisy, housekeepers happy banging and shouting out loud at 7.30am, I was hoping for a lay in since we had a busy days ahead. Breakfast was ok, had to wait for eggs 15mins and had to ask twice for a sweetner for my coffee. Also most pastry and fruit was gone too. Thit was at 8,45am-breakfast is till 10am. Kids game room really needs updating,loads games didn't work properly which was disappointing . Cinema room was fully booked for our whole stay. My child was so excited when I told him the hotel room has a cinema ,and after we found out it's fully booked he was really upset . Swimming pool was dirty,water was cold, over chlorinated,and over crowded so we didn't stayed long. I had a rash the next day from the pool watter. Dinner again you have to prebook, probably prior your stay as you risking you won't have a solid meal when you arrive. Food was in my surprise really nice, after the horrific time we had was glad to have a nice meal . The reception staff is not really friendly ,and pretty ignorant to solve any issues ,and the spa staff is nowhere to be seen... I would not recommend this hotel if you expecting 4star or if you traveling with a child. Highly disappointed and will definitely not come back again.

Fantastic experience: I've not even stopped here but I won't be. I've made a reservation for the 16th of February, I've rang up 3 weeks inadvance to ask if I can move the date to the 17th (so only a day later) because I have had something come up, the lady on the reservations line was very condescending and almost sarcastic about not being able to move our date or refund it because it was booked on there Xmas offer. I can't find an option to book without the offer. I run a business and if I spoke to someone like she did I would expect a bad review. I have to retract this statement. My wife rang q hotels a few days later and got through to someone significantly more helpful. Our room has been changed and date and upgraded which we really appreciate, sometimes abit of common sense and a human touch goes along way, not just computer says NO, Maybe it was just a bad day

Fantastic experience: Had a Day Spa with the girls. The Spa staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a spa venue. Its not a huge space, but plenty of space to sit and chill. The only downside was the bar staff were not the quickest, but the food was tasty and fresh and we were not in hurry as we had finished our treatments.

Positive experience: Stayed for 2 nights, overall we had a good stay. Nice hotel a couple of miles outside of Stratford. We stayed in a deluxe double room. The room was big enough and clean, but for a deluxe room at a four star hotel we would have expected a fridge, glass tumblers (not plastic), glass bottles for the water (not plastic) and a soft closing toilet seat. There was a safe but it wasn't bolted down so could be moved. Unfortunately the breakfast didn't live up to our expectations. There were not enough continental choice. No fruit, meat or cheeses. Most of the cooked offering was either cold or hard as it had been left too long under the hot plates. The high point were the amazing treatments we had at the spa. The points may seem a bit picky but this is what we expect from a four star hotel.

Negative experience: Rooms are OK, grounds are nice and some staff are friendly but food is awful - cheap ingredients, poorly cooked and presented at premium prices. Also, at breakfast check your plates and cutlery carefully. We found 1 in 4 to have old food still attached. Better places to go for the money in this area. If you do stay, go into Stratford for food.

Fantastic experience: A friend and myself had afternoon tea, then foot, head, back and full body scrub massage, a swim and sauna, a gym was also available then dinner before staying the night and a buffet breakfast. Staff were very polite and helpful. Close to Stratford upon Avon.

Positive experience: Walking into reception from the nice grounds and meeting the friendly staff is a nice experience. Check-in was handled profesionally and quickly. The room itself on first view was nice, with a choice of foam or down pillows, king size bed and two chairs and a desk. Wifi was free and relatively quick for a hotel. However, the devil was in the detail. The detail is where this hotel falls down miserably. I used to travel a lot on business, but not much these days. I have stayed in grungy 2 stars and opulent 5 stars. This hotel is most definetely not a 4 star. The wallpaper in the room was peeling in places, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. There were lots of knocking/hissing/gurgling/flushing noises throughout the night from various machinery and applicances that sounded like they hadn't been maintained in a long time, or were very, very old. The food is utterly horrendous and over priced. Tasteless, chucked on a plate with zero preparation and almost indeible. I tried multiple different dishes just to be sure it wasn't a fluke, but each time I ordered a main or a small sandwich, the same drab, tasteless and utterly processed food was presented. It wouldn't surprise me if most of the fare is brought in from Tesco and plated. The hotel is ok for a one or two night stay on a discounted rate. If you pay the normal rate and expect a 4 star experience, you will be dissapointed.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for a long weekend using our Tesco vouchers to pay for some of the cost. Good check in. Our room was easy to get to. The breakfasts were everything you would expect. We enjoyed the use of the pool, sauna and steam room. Didn't have any other meals as the menu was limited and drinks and food were expensive.

Positive experience: Easy to find and accessible parking. Setting is pleasant. Nice welcome on reception. Corridors leading to rooms are a little tired decoratively. Room spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed for the night. The bathroom was a little dated but clean and usable. Towels provided. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice, and everything was topped up throughout the sittings. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly, polite, and helpful. A lovely place to stay this weekend

Negative experience: We had a booking for 6 hens. Wanting a nice relaxing time to celebrate our friend getting married. Arriving on 17th June, We book a spa package which included bed, breakfast, dinner and spa treatments. Everything was lovely to start with.. nice rooms with everything you would need. They were very clean. The spa just wow. We all had spa treatments and the staff was incredible. We all couldn’t believe how amazing we felt after our treatments and then to relax in the in pool. It was just perfect for our bride to be. Beautiful garden lovely reception staff.. this made us feel like we could stay there enjoy ourself and just have a relaxing time.. everything was goin great till we got in the restaurant for dinner… we did have a lovely server called Abbie and she did a brilliant job. She took our order and everything was goin well. After an hour from our order being taken we was wondering where our food was. Then we had a waiter come to the table and delivered some food which turned out not to be ours. He then picked up the food from us then delivered it to the right table, this happened twice. Which made us doubt that they even had our order. Our food finally arrived and what a disappointment that was… stakes not cooked to what we asked for, the bergnaise sauce was just mayo with mixed herbs. One our party asked for gravy was told it was fine but didn’t arrive to be then told no. One of the guests orders cauliflower dish which turned out to be rock solid with only 5 pieces, one ordered a salad with truffle oil to which it had non. Each of our dish’s had a supplemental from our allowance of £28. The food was that bad that we even had to head in the town centre to actually go and buy food. When all we wanted to do was stay at the hotel. We did ask to talk the restaurant manager who was called Patrick. He was busy dealing with another customer who complained about a the food that was taken from our table to his. Once Patrick finally come and spoken to us. All he could say was oh I’m sorry that shouldn’t have happened. I have never been so disappointed. I have worked in hotels most of my life and never left somewhere with such a bad taste… which is sad because everything was great up until this point. It’s sad to think that we would have had a better experience of dinner in a youth hostel.

Negative experience: Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. Food is horrendous, dinner overpriced and chicken disgusting. Breakfast terrible, cold and burnt. Staff are lovely and Spa staff are great. I had a facial and massage it was very relaxing. Would return to spa, but would never eat in this hotel again. Lay out strange, restaurant is dark and has no window view. outside terrace is to far from the bar itself.

Negative experience: Decided to stay here today as stayed before many years back but wow.. upon asking reception at 2am if they had any spare rooms which i was more tbsn happy to pay for as my hubands snoring was probably the worse it's been in 5 years to be told we're fully booked dispite there being around 15 to 20 cars in the car park... maybe he didn't realise I was already a guest in the hotel and not just a walk but I was shocked after saying to him il have to go sleep in the car park.. he just walked back into his room behind reception. Not even anything to try and help me out at all consideringweve paid £130.00 for one of there "superier" rooms I'm really not happy. Looking back back at other reviews if you need to switch rooms your also told the hotel is full. Editing to top it off house keeping let themselves in to clean at 9.12 in the morning dipsite checkout being at 11am. What kind of clown show are you running!!

Negative experience: Definately not a 4 star hotel. Beds very uncomfortable. Mediocre at best. Went for breakfast. Only hot veggie option was beans on toast. Was better off not paying for breakfast and eating out. Most expensive beans on toast I have had. Not even hashbrowns!!!! I would have got a better breakfast at premier in which is not a 4 star. This hotel needs to step up. They should be embarassed that several food options such as bread and butter ran out. Even ran out of orange juice. So many other visitors were left dissapointed!!!!! After now reading all the reviews it is obvious the hotel is good at apologizing and not making changes based on these reviews.

Fantastic experience: Overall, it's a decent hotel - comfortable room, clean, easy check-in and good facilities (spa etc.). However, it's let down by the food. Initially, a group of 7 of were going to have dinner at the hotel, but we were told a group of that size needed to pre-order a couple of weeks in advance, so we decided to make alternative plans! Perhaps 7 is a large number!!! Returned to the hotel in the evening for a few drinks and desserts. Had to send the dessert back - not very good. Breakfast choice was substantial, but the scrambled eggs were so over-cooked they would have had to be sliced, and the fried eggs had sat for far too long. The service was good! As I said, overall it was ok but let down on the F&B side.

Positive experience: Generally the property is nice, the outside area looking a little tired in places but maybe a spring spruce up will improve things. We had a private function and although it wasn’t set up exactly as agreed, the organiser stuck with it. The staff were generally very nice but not overly proactive which can be viewed either way. Being in a private function room sometimes left one feeling slightly neglected ….. no offers for further drinks from the bar which given all prepaid drinks and water were cleared away, was a little surprising. Staying over the weekend, restaurant staff starting to clear breakfast items an hour before closure was really unprofessional verging on rude; they were quite slow to replenish some items like scrambled eggs and pastries which are pretty basic desires of most people when coming for breakfast. Our real disappointment was our Saturday night dinner. Not only are they charging more for weekend dining but not being offered a full drinks menu, having to ask for table water and being told they couldn’t provide further gravy for a meat dish and taking over 2 hours for mains, dessert and the bill, all was very disappointing. I do have high standards, but really feel I am being quite fair. Good games room for the kids, although they should advise parents about restrictive pool times for children in advance so that parents can plan their day better if they wanted to offer their services in a professional manner; can’t help feeling that this place needs a stronger management team and some good in-house or professional training to raise their game.

Positive experience: OK place to stay. Tge young blond receptionist is not very helpful. We all know when someone is h Just trying to Fool you into thinking the hotel is full and can't change rooms. We needed to change change room as there were too many steps to get to the room. My wife had suffered an injury so she couldn't use steps. We asked another receptionist and she was really helpful and understood our concern. Rooms were OK but really not Star. The hotel needs a bit of an update.

Positive experience: The hotel is beautiful from the outside and has a really nice vibe and it’s well serviced. Our room was clean and spacious even though it was on a lower level than the ground floor. Staff are really polite and friendly. We Didn’t really like the food at the restaurant. Chicken was bland and the rest really smelled. Definitely not value for the money. The English breakfast smelled of rotten fish and we only had eggs and toast. I might have given it 3 stars but we didn’t get to use the spa and pool and we only stayed for one night.

Positive experience: The hotel is nice, but it does not quite live up to its 4-star rating. The exterior and interior of the hotel are attractive, but the rooms are not quite up to the same standard. The best part of this hotel is that it is dog-friendly, and there is plenty of space in the lounge area for your furry friends. The breakfast was abysmal, with limited options and an inconvenient layout that required guests to navigate through a crowded space to get their meal. Breakfast was not nice as it was cold and the sausage were burn and bacon was hard. One breakfast I saw a hair in the sausage bowl so I complained to the manager who was there and he took the whole bowl away and bought fresh one but to me it didn’t look fresh. The staffs are friendly and nice. The hotel room was not bad because there was three people in the room they gave one double room and one sofa come bed but we didn’t pick it as the images shows two double bed so that was deceiving and disappointing. The sofa come bed was not comfortable. The showers was good. The food at this hotel is just terrible and not nice like we had pizza and fish and chip and they were horrible. The chips was soft and not crispy and the pizza was hard and over dosed of tomato base which was disgusting. So probably might come back here as it’s dog friendly and staff were friendly but not have the food or breakfast.

Positive experience: Room and hotel reception was nice, leisure facilities very disappointing. Small pool with those cheap shed style sauna and steam rooms, no hot tub, dirty tiles, not very up market or relaxing. They didn't enforce the children's swim hours they advertised - in fact there was actually someone running children's swimming lessons from the tiny pool so again not very relaxing if that's what you're after. Food was disappointing and very up sold on the menu! Crispy fish finger sandwich with crispy fried capers and rocket was basically frozen birds eye with iceberg lettuce. No grounds to walk around as you might expect from a a place called Stratford 'Manor'

Contrary to your assertion that the pool is tiny, it stands at an impressive 14 meters long and 10 meters wide. This is one of the largest hotel pool’s in the Warwickshire area. We do hold small swimming classes of between 1-5 Children during the children swim hours however they are in the shallower end of the pool area and still allow for length’s to be swam in the vast area not affected by these during the hour session. I am at a loss to explain that you found no grounds to explore;. we are nestled within the heart of Stratford countryside, with 21 acres of land freely accessible to our guests. I am terribly sorry that your food was not up to standard in the bar, however I am certain that should a member of the team on site been made aware of this they would have been able to rectify urgently and professionally. Comfortable warm rooms ,well equipt with toiletries, iron, tea making facilities etc. Large bar and lounge, a room suitable for large parties and a big dining area. Breakfast included traditional and continental food. Adequate parking and disabled parking out of the front door. Steps to the front entrance. ( Wheelchair access not seen but may be available).

Positive experience: Stayed here with family for one night as we visited Stratford, which is 5 minutes drive away. The place is well maintained, good size swimming pool and sauna facilities. Nice touch of a games room for children. Rooms clean and for families there is a pull out bed for children. The service is marked down because it all seemed uncoordinated. Plenty of staff trying to be helpful, but not quite knowing what is going on. E.g. told pool closes at 5 so rushed in, and at pool it closes at 6. Food service literally took nearly 2 hours for 3 courses and the restaurant was 30% full. Waiters were standing around with plates of food not knowing where to take them. This hotel has all the makings of being a good 4* hotel for families and tourists. From my one night experience I cannot recommend the restaurant, but at the same time, we liked the pool, the games room, good breakfast selection and location.

Negative experience: Still here but want to leave. On arrival i waited 10 minutes before someone came to reception to check us in were here for the one night new years family celebration. Before coming we double checked to make sure all of the details were right and that everything would go to plan. When we got into the spa area it was clear you couldn't book treatments which we were ok with but would have been nice to have a massage but the female changing rooms smelt of strong urine. The pools tiles were falling off it hadnt been maintained and cleaned. We took ourselves to the bar and there was a clear lack of staff one woman said she works on reception but could try help us but had no idea of the wines (some sold out) and one even managing smash bottles. We were still unclear about the cream tea time, 4 course meal or disco times we went to reception again to then be told the cream tea needed topping up because it had all gone and that it was no longer a 4 course meal but a buffet at 7.30pm. We've spent nearly £500 so far to spend most of the time in the room. All of the residents are complaining too about various different issues. Absolutely would not come back. Not impressed.

Positive experience: It was quiet in the hotel as it was half term week. The pool was a bit cold and needs a bit of investment. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and that counts for a lot. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and the food was lovely. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Would be nice to go back again sometime.

Negative experience: I attended an event on Monday and Tuesday.. and thank goodness it was paid for. The staff at lunch were terrible, there was no drinks on the tables, no cups and when we asked for clean forks the answer back was 'why do you need them, you have cutlery on the table' bearing in mind I was sat on a table of 15.. and the food in the evening to wasnt much better. Waiters took drinks orders and wrote them on the back of their hand. We were a large team of 28 and the service was shocking.. The gym was dirty and had not been sanitised. The following day a bigger well known company was also there for a training event, of which they had supplied better food, had better service skills and even had cake and biscuits produced on a regular for their tea and coffee breaks.. Definitely would not make a trip back here in a hurry, which is a shame because on the outside it looks quite nice.

Negative experience: NOWHERE NEAR 4 STAR QUALITY Too short of staff to service rooms but told you can request this if you want. When I asked for a couple of biscuits, I was told they were waiting for a delivery. Nothing in my room such as a Welcome folder or menu, so I assumed no room service was available. If you get stuck in a room a long way from reception, as I was, then expect poor WiFi. For dinner on the second night, I ordered Grean Pea & bean soup with toasted caramelised onion loaf. I was especially looking forward to the caramelised onion loaf but was presented with a plain piece of toasted loaf with the soup. When I complained, the waiter told me they were out of stock and the delivery was 3 days overdue. I asked if the chef could make caramelised onions himself, but after the waiter went to ask him, he came back and told me "No, the chef can't make this himself!" A hotel restaurant with a chef who cannot cook from basic ingredients has no right advertising itself as 4-star. My main meal was haddock with chunky chips. It was obvious both had been in the freezer. The tartar sauce pot was the same size as the portion of mushy peas. Nearly £18 for something no better than Wetherspoons, you're having a laugh! Pointless battery powered imitation candles on every table. My salt & pepper grinder was empty of salt. When, at my request, the restaurant manageress changed it with a grinder from the nearest table, I pointed out that was empty of salt too. Laying tables and making sure the salt and pepper condiments are topped up, is a basic requirement. Presumably, the fact only 5 out of the 20 tables available had anyone seated at them, is because my dining experience was the norm not the exception. Wouldn't stay here again and probably not in this hotel chain given this example.

Negative experience: We visited for evening dinner. They were so short of staff that the whole evening was very disappointing. Several staff had gone sick was the excuse. The Staff that were present worked so hard that I felt sorry for them. They did their best but had zero chance of meeting the needs of the customers , which lead to many many people complaining.

Negative experience: Convenient for a business trip however with the hot weather outside the best the room could offer for cooling was a portable tower fan with a 2hr wind up timer and a window that opens 3 inches, not great for a night's sleep. The breakfast was still being brought out at 7.30am even though it was supposed to start at 7am. The nail in the coffin for me though was I left an item of clothing (expensive cycling shorts) hanging in the room after I checked out. When I realized two days later and called the hotel, the shorts have disappeared from the room... So either the cleaner stole them or was incompetent enough to throw them away or leave them for another guest to find who then kept them! Either way the hotel wasn't much help and I'm now £175 down for having to buy a new pair... Thanks Stratford Manor, but I won't be staying again.

We are sorry to hear that your room wasn't adequate for the recent high temperatures we have had, we could have supplied another fan for you if you needed. Our hospitality, food and beverage team usually work quite hard to ensure our guests enjoy their stay. Positive experience: Stratford manor was a lovely hotel with plenty of facilities large car park with welcoming staff everywhere . Nice bar area and restaurant with nice food . We had two adjoining rooms both rooms were nice but a little dated with no air con and it was 28oC but a fan you can plug in plenty of other stuff in room like iron hair dryer clean towels and a good shower. I would stay again. Lovely terrace area to rear . ONE STAR TAXI This is not the Hotel review it’s Chris the taxi driver, recommend by the hotel very nice chap apart form he never picked us up on the way back from Stratford evening out , being left and 24 calls no reply kids crying and no answer is not recommended. Chris . Othello Taxis from hotel and uber back worked best and loads cheeper than the Hotel Recommended company in my experience.

Fantastic experience: Great venue, modern & fresh feeling. Loads of space & parking too. Staff were super friendly, and dinner was really tasty too. Comfy bed & free wifi made for a good stay too.
