Positive experience: I was in Wembley for 2 days so upgraded my puregym membership to get access here. Good points: it’s a gym! It has all the kit I needed & more for a good session. It’s open 24/7. And it was a 10min walk from the PremierInn with a black sheep coffee on the way. So I arrived ready! Not so good: it’s the scruffiest puregym I’ve been in. With some of the oldest battered kit too. And the gents toilets stunk. Hence, just 3 stars. The same squat rack I used on day2 still had the same discarded water bottle there from day1 so daily housekeeping mustn’t be a thing. My local puregym is well kept, clean & tidy and it’s only been open 2yrs so the kit is all in great condition. Perhaps the Wembley one is a very well established one then but they could do with getting on top of housekeeping and cleaning and budget for some new kit to keep it fresh for the local daily users. But hey, if you need a space to workout, and you’re not overly bothered about it being a pristine new environment, then this place will provide you what you need. It was easy to find, access easy, no homeless peeps! I felt completely safe and no worries at all. Though scruffy, I would use it again if in the area again. It does make me appreciate my local clean puregym more.

Fantastic experience: Pure gym is one of the greatest gym I have ever workout and the assistant that Wayne and Sandra gave was on the top its been 2 years I am coming to Wembley gym and I would love to come here all the time

Negative experience: The worst gym in the milky way galaxy, only go there if you want to have a sniff of the biodiversity of different cultures and creatures all in one single room with no air conditioning. Im sure many people have that preference in their daily schedule!. if you got so much time to waste you can come and wait for the only leg extension available in the entire gym which doesnt work btw. i love the daily queue that you have to spend half an hour waiting for every single machine which is wonderful and very time consuming

Fantastic experience: I love attending Pure Gym at London Wembley as it always brightens up my day with the environment of this gym as well as there high and energetic classes are super enjoyable, the staff and fitness instructors in this gym are so loving, welcoming and make each class full of fun which is fabulous, definitely would recommend this gym for anyone of who live locally to Wembley.

Negative experience: This gym is a walking safety concern, it is more rare to not see a homeless person asleep outside the pods in the morning at this point! As a female this is extremely dangerous and there have been instances where a man has tried to get into a pod with members. I understand the door upstairs is not working but this hasn’t worked in over 3+ years! I have been a frequent member for quite some time and have watched multiple longer term members leave the past weeks due to the smells in the changing rooms, the lack of cleaner therefore the gym is a mess most mornings and the general lack of care throughout the gym, it seems to have a revolving door of staff who don’t last beyond a few months. This gym needs an urgent update, there is always something broken or missing. It seems to be going further downhill as time goes on!

Positive experience: Good gym, no music at night, quiet peaceful environment and not too busy. Only downside they lock the stretch room. Would also be nice to have a boxing bag.

I've been out of the gym for over a month due to stress and today I took 2 of her morning sessions one after the other and seriously, without her motivation and positive energy, I would have never got through it. Fantastic experience: Puregym in the heart of Wembley. Lots of parking available nearby. Classes are well worth to attend, I feel safe, ladies only gym is decent size and never overcrowded. Staff are amazing. Gym is always clean and tidy.

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms I’ve been to! Extremely overcrowded. None of the lockers are working. There’s no space to breathe People are just trampling all over each other If you’re thinking of signing up for this gym. Don’t , it’ll be a big mistake .

Fantastic experience: It’s a nice and great and the staffs are friendly however whenever I entered to the male changing rooms it’s smell and one more thing is that when I go to the shower there is only button to press it’s so much hot water

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! very friendly instructors, the atmosphere is wonderful, the gym is equipped with many machines where you can work every muscle, or to lose weight, bicycles and many other cardio classes or lessons that help your body.

Negative experience: Hate this place will never go back. Recently came here to train with a friend of mine & had my locker broken into and someone stole my phone a friend of mine had money taken out of his wallet. Train here at your own risk.

Negative experience: The changing room constantly smells horribly .. I have highlighted this to the staff and apparently were advised to spray it so they can mask the smell.. they only added to the horrible smell that has been lingering around. Very disappointed!!!

Negative experience: One of the worst i’ve ever been too. Too many treadmills and less machines to actually work out and quite small with poor ventilation & always stinks.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this guy for quite some time and I have never met someone as amazing of a trainer as the one you have in Wembley named JanDean Ameen (JD) definitely high star rating I would definitely recommend him to friends and family for results

Negative experience: Messy gym , equipment every where , lockers broken open ,staff rude trying to force a rule of no bags on gym floor when most Uk pure gyms don’t enforce it. Being repeatedly asked and repeating I need to have my bag due to medical reasons on me. Poor communication skills , need more staff training

Positive experience: My membership allows me to use several PureGym in London. The only thing that bothers me about Wembley is that there is no Hip Thrust Machine or Hip Thrust Bench, which means women have to use the Cross box, which is not always available (because there are only one or two) and Wembley only has one Studio as an alternative, and the Studio is not open 24 hours a day like some other PureGym I've been to. Manager, Ryan, is extremely polite, but I can't say the same about other/ all employees, at least my experience so far.

Fantastic experience: Good Gym !! My wife loves this gym because of the ladies area. However, we both have been struggling to check our weight in the gym. There is no weight machine in the gym accessible to gym members, which I found totally strange. A weighing machine accessible to all gym members is a must in gym. There is one in the washroom which only accepts coins, 70p for weight. I did try with a 50p coin and then a 20p coin , however, it did not return my weight. I asked few gym trainers and they clearly said , the equipment to measure weight in the assessment room is not for members but for clients. I could not figure out what he meant. Still unable to find a weighing machine for gym members.

The weighing machines in the assessments rooms are for the use of the PT's only for their clients that pay for PT sessions. We would advise speaking to the Gym Manager for further information. Positive experience: I got a one-week pass at PureGym Wembley while in London for a short stay. Although there are plenty of gyms in the area, I find PureGym's to be pretty consistent so I know what to expect. After purchasing the pass, I noticed a lot of reviews talking about bad odours which was pretty off putting, and I wondered if I should have done more due diligence before buying my pass. However I had no issues with this whatsoever. The gym is in a basement style area just off the main highstreet. It's a little smaller than most, but it had everything I needed. All of the equipment seems to be clean and in decent condition. I normally trained early in the morning, and once in the afternoon. At all times it was busy, the atmosphere was friendly and there was little waiting times for equipment. The main issues are true of any commercial gym. The ratio of cardio to weight training equipment doesn't seem balanced. The free weights area is very busy and cramped, but there are tons of cardio machines with lots of availability. As such I opted for weight machines over free weights, which I wouldn't normally do. The changing rooms were surprisingly big, and there are a few vending machines selling water, energy drinks and protein shakes that all accept contactless payments. It's right next to a number of transport links, and for me, it was a short walk from my hotel at Wembley Stadium which was ideal.

Positive experience: The gym is alright, clean I like that , but need to be improved one most important think , that the staff who work in there to be more between the customers cause alway when you want to pick up some weights always they are in the floor everywhere never in the place , always mix you have to search 10 min to find your weights, the kids who come to the gym always reserve the machine for more the 1 hour, looks like is no staff working in there , and what was like a surprise for me was that some of the people don’t pay for the contract and they come in together like 2 in the same time , definitely the staff need to be more in the shopfloor instead in the office .

Negative experience: I went to pure gym with the motivation to gain something out of physical fitness on 21st for my tryout. My friend helped me to get the guest visit and take a few tryouts. But someone took £250 from my wallet and when I tried to report it to the Gym manager Ryan weller he said that there is nothing he could do about it because there is no camera in the changing room. Whereas the time when I went to the gym there were just 3 people doing the workout and after few minutes it was just me and my friend. Had. The worst of the worst experience about a gym in my life. When I asked the gum manger to check the CCTV he said that he can guarantee that his gym is safe whereas when you go to the changing room you can see a lot of lockers that a broken and the locks are lying on the floor. I was shocked to see that how can a gum be called or considered as safe when there are things like that happening. Never gonna recommend to anyone when it comes to safety of their personal belongings. Please try to avoid going to wembley central pure gym because of the horrible gym conditions and staff like ryan weller

Positive experience: Good gym with a nice range of equipment, including a ladies only area and generous-size studio. The changing rooms are fairly clean, often there's no hand sanitizer. Staff are very friendly. Lots of people (including personal trainers with their clients!) always working out and leaving their equipment in front of the emergency exits. Signage and communications with members could be improved...

Positive experience: I use the gym regularly as there’s a ladies gym there. Everyone is friendly. However, I’d like to see more air co’s in ladies area and more equipment such as dumbbells, plates that remain inside the room at all times so they are always available. It’s unfair to have to always enter the other side when it is mixed and to bring heavy equipment so far to the other room. Sometimes the equipment may be broken and it’ll take a while for it to be fixed. Also, a good investment could be to make the ladies area bigger and the changing rooms smaller. The positive side, the gym is close, easily accessible, positive attitude around.

Positive experience: If someone could clean the intake pipe grills they are around 4 on the big aluminium hvac pipe to the right of the gym the fins are covered with thick dust and dosent looking hygienic... Other than that the gym is value for money.

Positive experience: No nonsense. Good clean gym. The tiniest entrance I have ever seen but overall a good gym. Not the ideal when you've hit legs and your legs are wobbly because there are only stairs to enter or exit the gym

Negative experience: Good facilities and nice gym but I booked personal training sessions with Reanna and I explained that I needed motivation and help reaching my goals. I felt assured but immediately after paying, there wasn’t much interest in helping. My sessions got cancelled and moved loads of times with short notice, she never contacted me and so I was have to chase for sessions and I could just tell she didn’t really care. Very disappointing as I spent the money hoping for a routine but it didn’t happen

Positive experience: Overall very clean and the staff are nice, but I don’t get why wearing trainers is enforced.. wore sliders and was told to leave the gym. I don’t get why people can’t workout in what they feel comfortable in? I’m sure me wearing sliders won’t harm anyone. After all gym community is all about positivity and feeling comfortable whilst working out. So please change this rule of strictly trainers allowed.

As per the gym rules, correct attire must be worn when exercising i.e. suitable comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear. Negative experience: You have a problem with the lighting and the club is dirty and the weights are not tidy scattered all over the place and this thing is really disappointing and I hope that I could get the money back because you describe your club as one of the best clubs in London but you are very bad and I do not expect to continue a subscription with you

Fantastic experience: Pros: The gym is so tidy and organized. The Management have done an amazing job. I go to around 5 different puregyms and this one was by far the tidiest. They are also very polite and kind. Deffo will come back. Cons: The Gym could do with another Lat Pull-down machine and an Ab Crunch machine. But now I'm just nitpicking.

Negative experience: Rubbish gym for ladies and beginners if you are serious about improving go to a mans gym go to a gym that allows men to be men and throw weights after racking the whole thing

Negative experience: Equipment in dire need of maintenance. Air Con hasn't been fixed since last year. Almost impossible to use the studio as constantly booked for small classes. The smell from the toilets fills the room

Negative experience: Super dirty, especially the men's locker room is absolutely filthy. I can't believe people just litter on the floor. Most of the lockers are damaged. Edit1: the weights are almost never replaced by the gym members and the gym staff don't seem to care. I was searching all over the gym for a set of weights and it was lying near the treadmills. I couldn't find any staff available to complain on the spot. Also, there are no mats provided to stretch in the common area of the gym. There was just one mat. This gym needs to improve their standards big time. I was in puregym coventry last year and it was 100 times better managed in every aspect. So disappointed! Edit : I still see weight lying around, people just don't care. The hygiene has improved though. In the morning, the weights are just lying around, theres the room where there are equipment kept which is locked till 7-8 am, which is annoying coz I like to go to the gym at 6 am Edit2: the equipment has started to wear and tear. Hope management takes notice of this

Positive experience: This gym is the female only gym that's affordable to my location. The womens space is small and the equipment is sometimes damaged. It was okay when I went on quiet periods of time. They have a bigger changing room and lots of showers which I liked! One wierd thing was female side had cameras so as muslim hijabi that was a concern, who watches it?

Negative experience: For some strange reason, this PureGym locks away the mats after 4pm on weekends and after about 8pm during weekdays which means you can't stretch! Never been to a gym before that doesn't provide mats to allow you to stretch so this is very odd. Surely, you should be wanting and encouraging your members to workout safely instead of preventing them from stretching? I suspect it's because the mats are in the studio but the logical and smart thing to do would be to simply move the mats outside the studio after 4pm so people can still stretch and workout safely when the studio is locked. I had to do back stretches on the rock hard and dirty floor the other day which doesn't seem right. I can't give more than 1 star because this is a basic requirement in any gym.

Negative experience: This must be the dirtiest gym I have ever trained in, anywhere in the world. Without fail, the mens changing rooms smell of sewage and stagnant water every time you enter. There is always used blue paper dumped on the ground throughout the gym, as well as used water bottles. The clientele, trainers and staff of this venue in Wembley clearly have absolutely no respect for a tidy environment to train nor work in. The level of cleaning undertaken in this PureGym is significantly substandard compared to other locations across the U.K. The majority of lockers in the mens change rooms and on the gym floor are damaged, clearly from people slamming and mistreating them unnecessarily.
Thanks for your review. Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each day to carry out. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. Fantastic experience: Only giving it 5 stars because of Mark. I used this gym when I moved for uni so was only at this gym for about 6 months and I asked Mark how to use the smith machine and he happily helped me and with my form for free. I wanted a personal trainer but I can't afford it being a student. The puregym I'm at now, the personal trainers here won't even show me how to hip thrust with a smith machine unless I pay £50 per a training session. The womens area at Wembley is small but has decent kit, gym overall wasn't too bad!

Positive experience: Arite, typical pure gym, free weights limited to 50kgs, no parking at this particular gym. Space is OK, nothing overly exciting if you're a pure gym member.
