Fantastic experience: Clean both changing room and water , great spacious pool with lanes very quiet at night and exceptionally good value at £4.40 for a swim , parking outside but tall vehicles are not allowed (to prevent you know who encampments) but plenty of roadside parking. Very helpful staff.

Negative experience: The managers run this place like a dictatorship not allowing members in the spinning room early to set up the bikes by locking the door

Fantastic experience: Love it i I go swimming lessons here and it's so clean but sometimes iys booked but I love it still

Positive experience: The pool is good although can get busy at times. Clean changing rooms surprisingly, only downfall is the badminton, tried to call to book but didn't call back and are so hard to deal with, this had happened twice.

Negative experience: Nothing on the internet stating it’s closed, got two children ready and walked there to find out it’s not open, tried calling numerous times in the morning, should have an automated message on the phone if closed and or state it in on website even google said it was open

Negative experience: Unprofesssional and rude staff at the reception. Always late with preparing the courts ready for pre-booked games. Poor management. Blackpool Council should invest more in training the staff and teach them to respect the time.

Positive experience: I've only just joined the leisure centre, the facilities are very good, however when using the area's for changing into dry clothes when coming in from swimming seems to me to be a bit fragmented, unless you want to change in a puddle of water where the very small changing rooms are.

Negative experience: Car park entrance now has a barrier made worst by the ramps. Reception staff will not open the barrier, either too lazy or totally unhelpful, it's clear to see that management are frightened to say anything to the reception staff. On their website it states carpark open to all. Why on earth did anyone spend money to restrict paying customers?

Negative experience: Went for swimming and got told an hour in that you have 15 minutes left as someone has booked it, ermm why not tell us before we paid so we can go somewhere else also one of the lifeguards constantly watching the women entering and leaving the pool instead of watching people in the pool

Negative experience: The receptionist, a bald guy was rude and unhelpful. Was told if we didn’t have a physical leisure card with us he couldn’t do anything and refused to search us. When it wasn’t a problem for another receptionist 2 times previous that week. Was so rude we ended up leaving and going to another swimming pool. Needs training in customer service. I work in customer service and would never be so unhelpful and rude.

Fantastic experience: (Breast Screening Unit.....) at Palatine Leisure Centre. (since my phone picks up where I've been and asks me to leave a review on here!!) Staff keep well 'abreast' of any problems and handle them with tender care and respect! My 'two girls' and I will definitely return!!

Fantastic experience: Family swim session was busy but we used both baby and big pool. Football's, noodles and floats were out so much fun had by all. The changing room and pools have recently been refurbished which is great as everything is clean and well maintained.

Positive experience: It would speed up access to activities if there was a point where individuals can swipe leasure prepaid card. Indeed it would be quicker for payments if they had access to contactless payments. LONG OVERDUE!

Negative experience: Not sure where you've employed the 2 men on the desk today but they need some customer service training. Rude and ignorant. First person ignored me to answer the phone despite the fact I've been in a queue for some time and it being the start of a childrens class so the busiest time for the desk. The second took payment but ignored me as I'd needed to ask a question and instead continued to serve the next person whilst blanking myself. So in summary I have come away feeling like the invisible woman. Not a smile or any level of customer service or acknowledgement given to people.

Fantastic experience: Hi. This swimming pool (which it is palatine leisure centre) (well everyone should know how to pronounce these words). I can hold my breath underwater for over 20 seconds (I know it is not that long but if I keep practicing I will get better). So the swimming teachers, did you have a good Christmas? And a new year? Well it was very good Christmas and a very good new year. So when it's 31st December 2022, we're all gonna watch the fireworks and the new years countdown. Basically, my birthday is on 1st february (which it is in Tuesday, I will be swimming in my birthday. Which it is pretty much cool. I hope the swimming teachers wishing me a happy birthday! The swimming teachers must wish a happy birthday to me (which I will be 10 years old). So in April 4th to April 8th Years 5's are going to go to the waterpark. But year 6's cannot go to the waterpark because all year 6's are now going to highschool in September, (which you always go to a new class every September every year). I love you swimming teachers. You are really kind and you help us teach lessons. When you give us a few minutes of playtime, I will be doing a synchro fit (which I watched it before). In fact, there a going to be a football thing in the palatine leisure centre. Anyways, my favourite thing to do is to play video games and football. Make sure that you bring in your swimming kit. If you don't bring in your swimming kit, then you will get consequences so please bring in your swimming kit. I do not want you to get in trouble or get some consequences by the teacher. Negative experience: Visited pre covid and found it to be a good swimming facility . Not so today Please note the Times on the website don't currently match the pool times. I asked for help from the receptionist to explain and was handed a paper copy of the times and told to get the App. I explained I was only visiting . I feel the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful and would benefit from retaining.

Negative experience: Just to let you no people about palatine pool My daughter been going there for the last 4 weeks and been letting her in she want there on a Saturday and refusing her to go in the pool so i want down there to see what the problem is and the reason was she needs a adults with her at weekend but she can go in the pool in the week days on her own also because she only got a leisure card you need a adult with them at weekend but if your a member and pay 15 pound pm then you don't need a adult with them what a joke

Positive experience: Much improved during covid shutdown. We hold our archery club there Sundays 3.00 to 5.00pm. Swimming pool and other indoor and outdoor facilities including cycle training area.

Fantastic experience: Nice clean kids pool. Reading people reviewd about the staff. They were really friendly I spoken to about 5 Staff members all polite. I can’t fault them.

Negative experience: Cheap n cheerful. A few times I've been to classes and they've not been covered, due to staff holiday's/illness. A txt or call to say its cancelled is better than having people waiting around. Unorganised. To bring up dwindling numbers, a recruitment advertisement is needed. Instead of stopping classes try to bring the public in, it needs a big overall

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to post a comment for a few weeks and am sorry it's taken so long. Nobody wants to see the lifeguards in action because it means someone is in difficulty, unfortunately that happened at palatine recently, it was so reassuring to see Hugo and Connie spring into action, they were amazing and so professional calmly talking to the lady supporting her in the pool then when the lady was ready expertly extracting her from the pool like a well oiled machine, hats off to you both, you did an amazing job and it's good to know that if needed your there, thank you for keeping our pool safe I salute you

Negative experience: Baby pool freezing cold Moore Park is warmer but now they have took the later one way so now at Moore Park on Monday morning tiny tadpoles is on at The same time as aqua aerobics

Positive experience: I loved the center most staff were helpful and didn't bother us the baby pool was warm but the adult pool is cold I would recommend going here. There were teenagers going around swearing but that was quickly sorted out be staff .

Positive experience: i lost my chain here and although the staff tried to find it it wasn't there, if some one finds it post back, it is a thin silver one

Negative experience: I am a regular customer and been trying to phone and got no response. Somebody needs to be on the desk from opening time to closing time. Why is there such lack of communication?

Positive experience: I attend classes and the gym every week. Aqua jog is wonderful and I really enjoy Body Pump. Reception staff are helpful and now I use the app its great for bookings. I've lost weight and feel healthier thanks to Palatine.

Negative experience: Freezing pool full of young (8-13) loud rude teenagers (all unsupervised!) who thought it would be fun to bang lockers & cubicle doors whilst shouting & swearing. Staff had to tell several people, multiple times but yet nothing was actually done as a result of it an the kids were left to run riot. Receptionist ignorant an not keen to assist when questioned how we leave feedback. Would rather travel further an pay more an actually enjoy the experience, our own kids are horrified at what they've witnessed an heard today! Not in a hurry to return!

Negative experience: dont bother staff are idiots swimming was full of kids swearing they were also smashing lockers when speaking to the male on reception i might as well of spoke to the wall our family will never go there again.
