Trilogy Active at Danes Camp Leisure Centre

Negative experience: This summer in August I started to go with my son for swimming lessons with monthly membership. In October they started to call me with one hour before the lessons starting and cancelled it. It happens 7 times in a row. Actually he didn’t go for swimming about 2 months but they still charge the money from your account. Reasons was always that they short of staff or instructors are sick. My question is why they still make contracts for people? Very rude and unhelpful staff. They don’t give you any informations about anything. They ask you to call customer services all the time. When you call the customer services they says to email them. This is crazy. I was so angry about this pool.

Negative experience: Beyond disgusting. And it’s not due to a lack of staff. Loads of staff stood around doing silly tasks. Poor management.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place for swimming activities

Positive experience: Great for kids still,just no provision for parents,coffee shop only open at 4pm in the school holidays? Shame really as there are other pools that have more extra facilities for after or for the non swimmers there

Positive experience: The entrance is kind and infront is the changing village but the hair dryers need help but still good. I love the toilets and the swimming pool. The swimming pool is big with deep and shallow areas.ans I love the flume ride which is clean

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Emily and James for their hard work and support with my son’s 7th party here today! We had a disco party and Emily was our host she was fab with the kids and the games kept them entertained the music was brilliant even the adults were having a little dance, would defo recommend I was running late so they helped set up and made sure everything ran smoothly! All the kids went home happy and my son had the best time James was great from booking the party up until the end friendly staff throughout and and all round great facility! Also really good value for money! Worth every penny! Thank you all again for today

Negative experience: Swimming pool changing room are very cold.

Fantastic experience: Worth buying a member ship I go there every day but staff could improve I have never forgotten the man who kicked my dad out 30 years ago he still works there now

Negative experience: Gym staff are rude and disinterested. Gym itself is filthy, and in desperate need of upgrading. You often cannot physically get into the building at opening as no-one has turned up to open it up.

Fantastic experience: Very quiet, had an uninterrupted hour of badminton.

Negative experience: They didnt allow us use a snorkel and definately wouldnt reccomend

Fantastic experience: We went to the swimming baths and it was great fun for the children There's a wonderful water slide that looks imposing but even our 3 year old granddaughter loved it. The water's quite warm too.

Positive experience: Took the kids swimming here before and had no issues. The pool is a bit chilly for kids. However I went today and asked if I could just leave my buggy round the corner and the staff member wanted cash in exchange for a key to lock up my buggy. Said I was happy to leave it but no she said I had to leave my phone with her in exchange? I wasn't planning on stealing a lock or key for God sake. Then the sign said hand over car keys or £5 cash for the buggy lock. I didn't bring cash because the website clearly states (when I looked) they only accept card. Wasn't very impressed and made me feel a bit uncomfortable and now feel like I don't want to return again.

Negative experience: Kids were accused by lifeguard of making fun of another child which they weren't. Were eyeballed the whole time they were in the pool by said lifeguard making them feel uncomfortable

Negative experience: The pool is in need of serious modernisation or better yet, knocking down. It's dirty in and around the changing rooms and the pool is freezing. We had to leave after 15 minutes as my daughters lips were blue. The water play area doesn't work properly. The cafe is never open. Not an enjoyable experience and I wouldn't return. If you want to take your children swimming avoid this place at all costs.

Positive experience: Cold pool. Kids loved it though..

Positive experience: I spent more time catching the bus than going there. But the heat,spoil everything in the sauna. I won't be going again.

Negative experience: Pre Covid lockdown I was a member of the gym at Danes Camp and really enjoyed it. In the past couple of months I have tried to join a scheme at the gym at Danes Camp. It has been a nightmare. The whole saga over the past 2 to 3 weeks has been a very stressful, protracted process. All I have needed to do is re-arrange an induction appointment. I’ve called numerous times to secure a new appointment, have been promised a call back to sort this but have had nothing. It seems that the central customer services centre runs on stonewalling and obfuscation. I tried to ask to speak to someone to get a refund of the £15 I paid and to cancel the scheme I was to join. It seems that, yet again I’m being stonewalled - being asked to call customer services again tomorrow or e-mail. This is completely unacceptable. Based upon my nightmare experience, I’d advise avoiding Trilogy off you want to join and gym and look at other gym providers in town of which there are many.

Negative experience: Female Swimming instructor should be ashamed of herself for humiliating 5-year-old children and making them have low self-esteem!. Disgusting and unprofessional conduct and I do not recommend anyone to waste their money, I'd of given no stars had that been an option. The staff require training in dealing with customers and assessing children

Positive experience: Small leisure pool, quite full as it's school summer holidays but good fun for the grandkids. Still looks very much the same as 35 years ago when I used to take my kids swimming their.

Negative experience: Got kicked out for a week for defending ourselves. Bad place, don’t recommend.

Positive experience: Always love going here, it brings back so many childhood memories & now I get to share them with my own kids. All in all the place is nice, clean & tidy plenty of parking too.

Negative experience: Took my oldest and the water was freezing complained to the receptionist and manager in emails wasn't resolved was freezing again when we next went with the 2 year old lips turning blue

Positive experience: The swimming pool is perfect for families and made for a magical childhood. On Fridays, they hold a session for children, supervised so that parents don't have to attend with them which was very fun back in the day. They need to make their website clearer. Having moved to Cornwall, I missed skating here and had been waiting months to return and skate. At reception, I was harshly told you must book it online (first I've heard of it, I've skated here since 2014). I was turned away, they wouldn't make room for one person. As a neurodivergent, this embarrassingly caused me to have a meltdown. I had checked the times of the session before going, if their website was clearer in there being a booking rule, this could have been avoided.

Positive experience: I use the gym and it certainly meets all my needs us. The equipment is kept in good condition and the instructors are always ready to give advice and help when needed. I really appreciate the regular hygiene and temperature inspections, a great move by Trilogy Danes Camp.

Fantastic experience: Decided to come to this pool instead of towcester for a change and was pleasently suprised at how much better it was for the kiddies. Water was warmer, and with the children's area of the pool they absolutely loved it! Will definitely be returning

Positive experience: Took my grandchildren, 16, 9 & 8, first time we've been, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though it was very busy. Pre paid on line, very easy to check in when we arrived. A great hour and a half of fun.

Positive experience: Slide was working today which was good , would be good to have added things there , wave machine - inflatables - price for 2 kids and 1 adult was 13.50 cannot beat that price for 1hr 15mins!

Negative experience: Can’t even book online and it isn’t even easy to do, so annoying why can’t you just pay by card (knowing they’re cashless) at the venue?! It’s absolutely ridiculous

Positive experience: Go there weekly for my kids swimming lessons. The teachers - brilliant. Reception staff v friendly. The changing rooms... smells like you're changing in the toilets! The few larger changing rooms always 'claimed' with someone's bag! Always frustrating when you have 2 children to sort!

Negative experience: Funny smell when you go in, not the usual chlorine smell you would expect in a pool. Not very clean at all. People walking around in shoes in changing room. No cover for shoes provided or told to take shoes off before entering. Very dark and dismal. Needs modernising. Changing cubicles very small. Waiting area, the tables could do with being cleaned regularly. Car park hard to get out of and planters with tree stump in at low level that should be taken out as not necessary and a hazard. Trying to find a positive .... Staff are friendly and approachable. Don't like leaving negative reviews but have left to go somewhere else due to these factors unfortunately and feel strongly enough to leave a review. Would suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant pool for kids and adults, friendly staff and well looked after, this is more of a leisure pool though, no good if you are training.

Fantastic experience: Pool is a lovely pool, staff were extremely helpful. Beach access so good for wheelchair users. Website for booking needs improvement. Pool and changing rooms were clean.

Positive experience: Good for the kids for an hour for swimming however the place needs to be spruced up. Hasn't been changed or brightened up for 25 years plus. For how busy it gets, there isn't enough showers. The changing area smells quite rank as well.

Fantastic experience: Great child oriented swimming. We go regularly with our 6 year old niece who loves it. You need to book your time slot but that way you get a fair amount of time in the pool and it doesn't get too crowded. There are both mum and toddler as well as dad and toddler changing rooms on top of the individual changing rooms. Some of the facilities are a little tired but it is 30+ years old

Positive experience: Nice place to go swimming ‍♂️. But wish they was to play some music whilst swimming

Fantastic experience: Have joined mainly for the gym. My son who's nearly 13 wanted to join, but needs to have an adult with him until he's 14. Luke initially gave us a tour and Ollie gave us the induction when we joined. Both were very patient with us and made us feel welcomed and relaxed. We have use of other facilities at the gym with our memberships, and look forward to doing so in the near future.

Positive experience: Good pool to take little kids.

Negative experience: The water pump was broken. Meaning this was just a small pool. The staff didn't tell us. £10 for 2 people to be cold and a bit bored feels steep. Bit dirty too. Sad.

Positive experience: A great fun pool, but not for swimming lengths for fitness. Water slide is good fun. Not all the water play equipment was working today which was a shame.

Positive experience: Had great swimming and changing facilities especially accessible for parents and babies/ toddlers. Noted the dads and toddler changing room making it useable for male and female with very younger children.

Fantastic experience: This was the most futuristic building in the world when I was a kid, but it looks a bit dated now. However, the facilities are fine, but the car park can be crowded if there are special events on.

Negative experience: Never seen anything as dirty as this place. The smell of toilets in changing areas is overwhelming, the floors are absolutely filthy and the overall standard of hygiene is just shocking.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a swim go here 5 times a week keeps us going

Positive experience: Why can't you fix the locks on changing room doors, this one has been faulty as long as I have been using the facility which is 3 years now...... Lots of staff who could be more attentive in maintaining better standards rather than swanning around doing god knows what

Fantastic experience: Brilliant pool, friendly staff. Hpwever, some of the changing room areas are dirty, we have witnessed parents letting their kids wee on the floor near the drain in the shower and one of the changing rooms. The drains smell awful too. The life guards often look bored and don'tseem to stop small children who cant swim from going in the deep end. Nice health suit and gym, good equipment.

Также я видел классы для аэробики. А ещё есть небольшая сауна. Сауна хорошая, без бассейна с холодной водой. В комплексе довольно чисто и там приятно находиться, но не понравилось, что фены для сушки волос платные (£0,20) и в душевых у бассейна нет шампуня. Исправьте эти минусы и я поставлю 5 звёзд .

Positive experience: Great for swimming with children. However most of the larger family lockers are broken with no lock. So you have to try to squeeze everything into one locker. There is a mum and tots changing room but with only one baby change in it. It would be great if there were a few larger changing cubicles so families with young children could change together. Parking can also get busy sometimes but I always manage to get a space.

Negative experience: booking system is terrible and nobody EVER answers the phone if you need to contact them for any type of enquiry at all. Non-existent customer service

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool and leisure centre. Great health suite with a sauna. The pool can be awkward to swim properly in as it's an odd shape and oriented for families. But it's warm and great for a gentle swim. It's clean and has good safety precautions in place. Staff in masks except in the pool. Friendly staff.

Negative experience: "Lest we forget" I was very disappointed that the 2 minute silence was not observed at Danes Camp leisure centre yesterday at 11am, other years the announcement has been made beforehand, and after the 2 minutes is up.It is an international tradition that has been observes for many years.

Positive experience: Nice for kids messing about in the pool but everything needs a good clean.

Positive experience: Joined the Wednesday badminton club (19.00 -21.00). Had a really good evening. Good place. Nice pool.

Negative experience: Rip off you get 45mins in little square even worst they charge children same price as an adult

Positive experience: First time here, exceptional customer service. The lady on the phone when we called to book was very helpful. When we arrived we were well informed where to go, what to expect etc..pool was not over crowed at all, lots of exciting things to do for the grandkids. Lovely swim and really good value compared to where we travelled from (local pool in crick) we def will be back here x

Negative experience: All bookings are non amendable! Which is quite a joke nowadays, when things change so quickly and you want to do the right thing because you have received a notification via Covid app. Customers are being penalised for wanting to do the right and responsible thing!

Negative experience: About a month ago I decided to go to this gym, unfortunately the website was not mentioning any monthly subscription (never seen that before) so I said I will try the daily pass and see if I like it. The daily pass was £5 but when I asked they actually said that it's not really a daily pass, once you leave you need to pay again to come back. I went anyway and it was okay for the days I went. Today I went again and to my surprise the daily pass is now £10 claiming that it's peak hours (Same hours I was going until now) and it's Not even a day pass, is this a joke? Even though gyms in London don't price £10 for that. And what is the reason that you don't even offer monthly plan?
