Negative experience: I recently visited Bannatyne Spa Crewe for a birthday treat, hoping for a relaxing and indulgent experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the spa’s ambiance was lovely, the overall experience felt rushed and unbalanced (paid for 3 treatments which were supposed to last 70 mins. All 3 treatments were done in under 45 minutes). My friend and I booked treatments together to celebrate my birthday, and we were taken into our sessions at the same time. However, my treatment ended far earlier than hers. I was left waiting for 25 minutes after my session finished, which completely disrupted the relaxing atmosphere. It made me feel as though my treatment was cut short and less of a priority, which was disappointing, especially on what was meant to be a special day. A spa visit should feel like a luxurious escape, but this experience left me feeling rushed and overlooked. I hope Bannatyne Spa Crewe can work on creating a more consistent and thoughtful experience for all guests, especially for those celebrating special occasions.

Negative experience: I had a really poor experience with my spa treatment yesterday. Me and my friend was booked in at 12:45, we had to find someone for assistance as it was 12:55 and no one had come to us at this point. We was taken through to separate rooms. I am pregnant so I asked for an extra pillow, I was then left for 10 minutes while the therapist went to find a pillow- so by this point by treatment didn’t start till around 1:10 ish. I booked for a foot , hand & arm & scalp massage. At 30 weeks pregnant I was looking forward to a good relaxing massage I had booked this in October so I was very excited. The whole thing was horrible , I was just stroked there was no structure to the massage , no pressure ,no Effleurage , the therapist used 1 hand the whole time, I could of stroked my own arms and feet. I paid for a service I didn’t receive. she put an eye mask over my eyes but when I could tell there was no structure I opened my eyes to see she was in her phone , the whole treatment was broken as I felt stopping and starting and it wasn’t flowing I was really upset by this , the whole thing was rushed and I didn’t feel I got my value for money or what I paid for. When she moved in to my head she wasn’t paying that much attention her hand had actually come that far forward she was rubbing my forehead . At this point I tutted and moved my head , and she then put 2 hands in my head . When the treatment finished I checked my phone any it was 1:27pm so the whole thing which I booked as 3 treatments took her not even 20 minutes. It was actually a disgrace I will never ever use this spa again .

Negative experience: A very disappointing day. We had no email before hand so had to sit and fill in a load of paperwork. Then had to pay for towel and robe. Got a minimal explanation of what and where to go. Got in the changing room and had to go out to reception for a fob for the lockers, no apology. The jacuzzi was Luke warm, there was a class in the pool. The treatments were OK but just lasted the hour and when we got out to the cafe and asked to be served after waiting.. we're told be with you in a minute and carried on with her paperwork.

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Brought my wife this treat earlier in the year via "Red Letter Days" and have just been able to use it due to the Manchester branch closing down earlier in the year. Have to say this has become a bonus for us, as the staff treated us like royalty ❤️. We had wonderful massages and used the full facilities of the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi . Excellently clean and regularly kept the standards super high. The staff in the canteen were lovely and very accommodating to provide us with lunch even though the business had let them down with ingredients. But nevertheless the girls acted very professionally and courteously to us to accommodate our requirements for a snack. Perfect...thank you to all that we met

Positive experience: Treatments and staff were lovely, felt really relaxed. Only thing that could've been improved was that there wasn't a dedicated spa area for the jacuzzi, steam room etc as it is joined with the swimming pool which has loud aerobic classes taking places. Also we chose Crewe for it's double room and booked it on the website but were told on the day it was occupied and that we should have asked reception, even though it was already booked.

Positive experience: Initial thoughts weren't so positive. I had already signed up to this Gym/Spa via my work GymFlex scheme, but customer service was poor from the get go. Even trying to confirm if we needed to book an induction, we got ignored. Then when turned up at the Gym itself, we received our 'B-360' bands and then just got told to walk around ourselves i.e. no offet to guide us around (given its probably the most expensive gym, currently, in the area). The gym, pool and changing areas all look a bit tired and the toilets were 'minging' (Literally no other word to describe it..). There is a 50/50 with staff. 50% are polite and helpful, the other 50% are obnoxious, ignorant and clearly don't give a.... Nothing was explained about booking classes (possibly in the small print), but found we got barred from booking for a month, as we had booked 2 classes back-to-back, then got caught in the remnants of a road accident en route from work. It was a straight 'NO' on the system and again no customer service to try and explain to. Being honest, it'll be interesting how many members move, once the new David Lloyds Gym open near Nantwich in approx 12-18 months time (Oct 25-April 26), but I feel sorry for the few helpful staff here, when it does open (unless they move too.. ).

Fantastic experience: If I ever get through to spa and experience what looks like a amazing day I will gladly give 5 stars but for 3 weeks Iv tried to book spa on line with voucher from Red letter but no availability I rang spa se real times no has ever answered or replied to my several messages left or emails I even rang reception abd I spoke to 3 different receptionist all gave me different emails which non worked so I nice girl acknowledged my email went to sales and she replied saying manager of spa will be in touch that was a week ago still waiting it was a gift so Iv only got limited dates now as 3 weeks ago we had more dates to choice as Iv waited this long I don’t no if we will get a appointment this year I was told that there is availability but not showing on line please can someone help me with this Mrs Cole I need of lovely relaxing spa a day which Iv paid for already well I did get to experience the spa and treatment and I can say it was worth the wait from entering the spa the staff were friendly and helpful , we had mini facial , mi I back massage and mini foot massage it was lovely relaxing perfect , we had a coffee and scone included in are package it was perfect the girls heather and Jessica were professional and charming and excellent thank you so much only pamper was pool was out of order in which staff did inform me off early before my appointment but I would of enjoyed a swim but it was a lovely experience definitely recommend

Negative experience: Booked in for a spa day - arrived and the whole check in process was messy and disorganised. The email we got before attending stated that robe and towel hire was £10-£12 each. They failed to mention the deposit on top which brought it to £44 with £20 returned. The facilities are dated and dirty. Every wall in the building had some form of mould growing on it and the toilets were filthy. Ultimate we decided that if they cannot clean the building properly they cannot be cleaning the pool, hot tub or steam room so we left 20 minutes after arriving.

Fantastic experience: Popped in to this Bannatyne gym on my way down south to freshen up on the long drive from Scotland. I'm impressed with this place. The jacuzzi seems bigger than my local Bannatyne (Dunfermline). Seems you can fit 10+ people in to it and it was lovely and hot to sit in. When I'd finished in the pool, steam room and jacuzzi (they have a sauna too, but I didn't go in there). I walked in to the cafe area and asked for a chicken mayo sandwich that was listed on the menu. It was bought to me being sat at a table and I was surprised at the quantity of filling in the sandwich. When I bit in to it I was surprised that the filling was warm. Enjoyed it here.

Positive experience: It's always been a really good place my daughter goes to Swimstars swimming lessons. Recently the pool seems to be getting colder, which isn't the end of the world if you keep swimming. The showers are really cold, I'd recommend avoiding them and getting a shower at home!

Negative experience: I'd give 0 star if I could. I had voucher which I tried to book through at the beginning of January. They didn't have anything available until May, but then suddenly called to say they have 1 spot for end of February. Then called me few days before to say they don't have a slot anymore but will sort something out with manager and call me back. 2 days later no phone call so I call and get receptionist transfering me somewhere in a middle of the conversation and the other person saying that manager will call me back. Of course they never did. Such a bad customer service Edit as there's no option to reply to what the spa wrote in their reply. I'm so disappointed in ypur reply. You should have been looking into this and making sure your staff including managers get proper training! I posted on my social media about your spa and I had many replies confirming they had bad experience too!

Fantastic experience: Went for a spa day on Thursday 8th Feb with a friend for her birthday. Can't fault it one bit. The place was very clean the staff on entering were lovely and friendly. The lady who did our massage (Sarah) was sooo lovely and friendly. And is fantastic at her job. Would definitely be back just to go for the massage with Sarah xx

Negative experience: Went here yesterday for the first time, I had a gift voucher. I was suppose to come to the spa last month due to being ill and having to go hospital. I sent an email explaining several days before my treatment, unfortunately I had no response so I contacted Crewe and spoken to a member of staff called Kate. Who stated she had rearranged it and assured me everything was fine. Two days later received an email from a female stating she was a manager and if she could have my details. Which I told her, I already provided on the contact us form, which I filled out. I provided the information explained if given the information, hence how she was able to contact me. I told her staff, had told me been sorted, after that she never came back to me so thought everything was still fine. Night before the spa day I received a email to check in. Then in the day arrived to spa filled out another form which had the same details as the one online but shorter. Paid for my bag, was shown around the spa. When I went to have my treatment the staff advised me that the voucher had expired, she needs to talk to her manager prior to treatment was told to wait in relaxing room. She was taken ages so I decided to go to the desk but in the way to the desk she appeared saying it’s fine go into the treatment room. This delayed me having the treatment done, when I had the treatment done she never said straight away she hadn’t spoken to her manager as yet whether it was ok. She told me not to worry it would be sorted and find her before I leave. After the treatment she left the room a few minutes later only to came barging back into the room telling me her manager told her she needed to take payment. I was annoyed especially as it was a gift voucher I had proof I emailed them, spoken to member of staff less than a month ago. She kept saying they had no trace of email sent. She said the payment was £47.00 then jumped up to £49.50. I found this very deceitful and should have been confirmed at the desk when checking in or before the treatment taken place not after. She then gave a speech saying she’s sorry. I need to take it up with head office, as they deal with the payments and vouchers ( here she is collecting payment) Also saw mould all over the walls when entering the spa near the females changing rooms. The steps and area around the hot was dirty, there’s a sign in the wall saying have a shower before using the steam room, sauna and hot tub, due to hygiene (but cannot clean the area around hot tub or steps- why wonder they don’t want you to have phones in there) There was also mould in the steam room near the door on some plastic white thing. Broken coat hangers, throughout the facilities. there were areas that was run down that needed revamping. ( certain parts of the ceiling had water marks as if there was a leak and dried out but no one bothered to paint or replace the part that had water damage. Then u was sent a survey to fill out which I completed wasn’t aware my details was out against and out online which I want removing also. Due to this poor experience I was unable to relax - service was poor was ripped off the reason why none of the staff said anything about the voucher as they knew if they did I would had but stayed so that why they did what they did. When leaving I ask the staff if I taken the towel with the dressing gown back to reception she responded yes and the band around your wrist. As if I was going to steal it. First of all I don’t steal and it would be no use to me I have nine logged a complaint head office depending on how it’s dealt with with determining whether I use this spa again or just the treatments.

Negative experience: The spa was great although the lady had a good hands it's was cut short and wasn't 45 minute long but it's was nice. We were disappointed we couldn't go at the same as they called us explaining we will be going at different times as a couple. We were so much disappointed as there was only one jacuzzi to use and there was lot of people in and we couldn't use it.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely relaxing spa day today at Crewe. Gym session, followed by swim, sauna, then healthy lunch. Freshly cooked omelette, light lunch. More relaxation, coffee then a mini spa package by Sarah using Elemis products. Staff attentive and friendly, spa clean and welcoming. Relaxation room was a treat too as not busy today, Tuesday. Sarah was experienced and talented. Would recommend .

Negative experience: Gym was great for a couple of years. New Sauna and steam room renovations were excellent, but the hot tub, is cold. Extremely disappointed with management/ company on leaving the gym as we were moving away, and had to pay an extra 2 months membership even though we gave notice on the 04th Jan that we would be leaving on the 01st Feb. Clearly dont value clients / longevity of members.

Positive experience: Came here with my partner after we bought a buyagift promo voucher for a couples spa experience at Bannatyne locations. We originally were planning on going to the Blackpool location but it didn't have any availability. The steam room and jacuzzi are a decent size, we didn't go into the pool or the sauna. I had a full body scrub as part of my treatment and I would highly recommend it if you are a fan of the exfoliating type of thing. My massage was also good. Finished my treatments feeling relaxed and I was very happy with my time at Bannatyne Crewe as was my partner with her treatments. You can hire robes and towels but there is a hire charge and deposit so I would recommend taking your own towels. Robes aren't a necessity.

Negative experience: Had a red letter day spa day for 2 people booked with 2 x 40 mins treatments my husband was given more time but my time was cut short. She was over 20mins late then massaged me for 15mins and said I had 10 mins left I tried to explain she had been late taking me in but she couldn't work out the timings I asked to see the Spa manager who was no help either we will not be going back. Very disappointing!

Negative experience: Just ok. Jacuzzi poor wasn't working the only day I can use. Not very clean the machines. Was my first time on Sunday bit disappointed but it's ok .

Fantastic experience: Had a great spa experience. The staff attended to us was very lovely. Louise, attended to us with much care. The facility is great. The relaxation room is plus! Will definitely come again and sign up for their membership.

Fantastic experience: Spoke to receptionist Charlotte on the phone. I was very stressed as had a voucher and needed to change the date very last minute but she was very helpful and rescheduled a new therapist in. Customer service is really good.

Positive experience: Sarah from the spa was amazing, so helpful and accommodating and the treatments left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. Sauna and steam room are good facilities but a little on the small side for the amount of people using them at once.
Fantastic experience: Great place to unwind
Positive experience: The treatments were lovely and very relaxing. The only downside is that you have to pay £8 + a £10 deposit for towels and bathrobe. You do get a canvas bag and a pair of flip-flops to keep.
Fantastic experience: Enjoyed a lovely relaxing spa day at Bannatynes Crewe today Beauty therapist Heather was amazing the treatments were so relaxing and great value for money. The changing room facilities were excellent and everywhere was kept so clean and tidy. Would highly recommend it.

Positive experience: Good gym, nice range of equipment and love the pool facilities. Only thing that is very annoying is when parents bring their children in to teach them to swim in the general public pool section, especially when there's actual swimming lessons happening in the other lane at the same time.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful pregnancy massage at Bannatyne Crewe today. The atmosphere was relaxing, the treatment and Louise the therapist were great, the relaxation room was zen and a lovely smoothie to top it off. Really do feel rejuvenated.
Fantastic experience: Been Bannatyne Crewe member for 6 months now and really enjoy coming here daily. Great atmosphere and really attentive staff. Serving pizza is always a bonus after tough workout. Big shout out to my girl Kirsty in the reception, she is always positive and happy to help. Also Liam thanks for helping, you are great!
Fantastic experience: Today my friend and I went for a spa day. Wow, the facilities were fab and the treatments wow. The two therapists that did our treatments were so lovely and have made us feel amazing. Thankyou so much for a lovely day.
Positive experience: Recommendation: excellent spa treatments but DO NOT use as a 'spa day', the swimming/ steam room side is public baths level. However the spa treatment and relaxation room are great. I had Heather who was amazing, talented, and professional. Would definitely go again just for the spa treatment, but would advise against them advertising as a spa day or using vouchers that sell the concept as a spa day. The rest of the gym, ice cold swimming pool, and Jacuzzi etc were not up to standards.
Positive experience: Best gym around but could do with a little update in pool area.
Positive experience: Booked a spa day with 25 mins treatment. Mini facial was nice but scalp massage was not great. No real pressure applied. I wasnt given a consultation or asked any questions about my skin or how I prefer my massage. Facilties in the club , except for the spa, were dire. Everything is so dirty. I felt like I needed a shower after using the showers. Mould everywhere and gunk around door handles and other places. Get your act together Bannatynes.
Fantastic experience: Came as a guest, staff were very good. They were on hand to help with the various activities and seemed to genuinely be happy to help their guests. Would highly recommend anyone trying this venue if they get chance.
Fantastic experience: Lovely massage and facial - super relaxing. It was nice to be able to use the facilities (pool, steam room and jacuzzi) beforehand. No pressure to buy the products afterwards. Looking forward to have another spa day here soon.
Negative experience: Unfortunately there's been no investment in this clubs facilities within the last 5 years. Swimming pool overtaken with groups of idiots jumping in and play fighting, avoid if you're there for fitness. Staff are friendly but seemingly disinterested in keeping it an enjoyable experience for people using the pool.

Negative experience: Had an awful time with a not so gentle giant. Rushed the whole way from start to Finnish. Rude to me and friend. Deliberately rubbing oil in my friends hair. Cocky attitude, and hands like a 6ft5 basketballer. Won’t be back again any time soon l.
Fantastic experience: I joined yesterday after months of contemplating. I an registered severely sight impaired so was extremely anxious about coming even with the spa facilities being my main focus.. just leaving the house is enough! BUT the staff have all been so reassuring and lovely from the moment i rang up yesterday and spoke to Max. Who definately helped me gain the confidence to make a visit lastnight and he was so welcoming and helpful showing me everything i needed to know and see. Had such a lush time lastnight the spa facilities are so nice compared to others ive been to in the area.. LUSH. TODAY i had my First Gym moment and had the pleasure of having Lisa guide me through the area and equipment after a lovely chat and reassurance at the start! Again nothing is too much trouble for the staff here as Lisa put me at ease and was so thoughtful i wasnt expexting to feel so much calmer being there so quickly. I had thought it would take a few weeks of visiting before i took the step for the gym but im so chuffed thats not the case! And to finish today off i indulged in some spa treatments. MY FIRST EVER. And the staff at the spa were again so lovely and welcoming. I am in heaven here! And Heather and Louise both gave me such an amazing experience for both treatments so soothing and relaxing with such warm and kind hearted ladies. Thankyou so much for helping this journey of mine start off so well i cant thank or sing your praises enough so glad i decided with Bannatynes. Thankyou! X and the relaxation room ?! WOW.
Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool area, really enjoy my visits!
Positive experience: Facial and mSsage were nice. Only the lady in the spa had a smile for us. Didn't feel welcomed or at home or relaxed. Pool, sauna and stem were ok
Negative experience: Poor customer service that simply don't care. Booked valentine's day treatments for my partner and I that were postponed due to their staff being sick, resulting in me scrambling on the day to try and find something else. Then took them months to find me a new date due to lack of availability. Upon reaching the postponed date, we then fell sick but because we gave them less than 48 hours notice they won't rebook them again. Basically just robbed me. Would they have preferred us to come in and infect their staff?
Fantastic experience: Large gym, with essential gym equipment. Large number of cardio machines and separate functional area. They have multiple squat racks, chest press benches and cable machines. Large mens changing room with ample cabinets for storage. Will be working out here till I stay here in Crewe.
Negative experience: We couldn't get there as we had broken down they were if no use would only change to a couple of hours later, as we had broken down and live two hours away this was not an option as I explained. Totally not interested at all ,this was a gift for Xmas a total waste of money would definitely not recommend as would not accommodate us on another day I'm sure as it was already paid for it shouldn't have been a problem we let them know a few hours before we were due to arrive

Positive experience: First time visiting here after I was gifted a voucher for 3 mini spa treatments. Had a mini back massage, scalp massage and foot massage and was lovely. Very clean environment and lovely calming atmosphere in the treatment rooms and relaxation room. Spacious and clean changing area and sauna and pool were very clean too. Also used the steam room which was lovely. Had a lovely morning here and would visit again.
Fantastic experience: We had a really great experience here, the spa facilities are a very good standard and the place is spotless and clean. Sarah and Becky are a credit to the spa team they was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Keep up the good work

Positive experience: A big improvement lately, remedied issues with the showers, changing and pool areas that were annoying a lot of members. A mark down because I still think the layout in the gym needs work, too many cardio machines that aren't fully utilised that could be replaced with more in demand equipment such as free weights, racks, cable machines and more isolation machines would be most welcome. And another mark down as my mother also goes here and joined soley on the basis that the gym offered 5 aqua classes a week but that number has reduced to 3 a week now. This represents a substantial loss of value for my mother though memberships has gone up (very slightly). Last of all I just want to say the staff in here are all pleasant and friendly for the most part. In particular one of the reception staff always goes out of his way to greet and say goodbye to members, and one of the cleaners always says hello too. That sort of thing is always appreciated when it's not forced and you can just tell they are friendly people.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic place value for money I go here twice a year for a spa day, I have tried other places but compared to here they seem like a rip off. Fantastic place as you get use of the amenities while you wait for your spa treatment truly a relaxing experience. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership as I've found a better gym, for some reason they need over 30 days to turn off my access and cancel the direct debit. I contacted them in the middle of the month, they managed to reply within a day, but need another month and a half to click 2 buttons. Why would they need over a months notice to cancel the membership? Simply to get more money out of you. "This is all in our pages and pages of T&Cs you signed up to" - typical response. My wife will also be cancelling as they continued to charge her £10 a month when she had a baby - why oh why would they continue to charge anything during this time?! That's right, simply to get more money out of you.
Positive experience: Great gym and lots to offer. Classes, Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym along with 2 studios to go to hosted classes or do personal virtual classes. Alongside a great spa with great treatments on offer. The staff are all really friendly and will help the best they can and the training that the team can help with when starting out in the gym is great and extremely helpful

Fantastic experience: Both myself and my mum had a massage treatment with Heather who has only been with bannatyne a few weeks. She was absolutely brilliant, we both felt so relaxed afterwards & we would both 100% recommend her to anyone.
Positive experience: The Crewe branch is in need of refurbishment. Changing rooms are tired.

Negative experience: Complete nightmare company, I used the gym once and had the pleasure of paying a cancellation fee. Even after evidence was provided in the form of sick notes and advising them I was in the process of having life changing surgery. Do not use this gym, they don’t care about their members at all!
Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic day at this Spa. My wife and I were both booked in for a spa day with treatments. The ladies who dealt with us were Amazing!!! I had Demi and she was absolutely outstanding, very friendly, listened to my needs and was caring throughout my treatment!! I would recommend having treatments with her again to anybody!! The rest of the facilities were good and keep clean throughout our visit by the friend cleaning team!!! Highly recommended!!!
Positive experience: One of the cleanest and well equipped gyms I've been a member of, however, staff communication is a little poor. Biggest downside is the cost unfortunately.
Negative experience: Husband treated me to a spa day with the hopes of lunch too- Belated as they cancelled my birthday present 2 weeks prior with not enough staff, no offer of refund or discount. Turned up early as prompted with the spa reception closed so went to the gym receptionist who clearly was more interested in chatting up one of the men that was having a general conversation about the prices of places to eat.. then told to sit in the spa waiting room and someone would be with us shortly.. after being asked by several gym users if I could do their lashes or nails (I can but I don’t work here) someone finally came from the gym reception and told us to go and wait in the relaxation room. When we asked where we could get changed and find our robes we were told it’s a charge for robes and you have to pay to use the towels? Strange but we did as we wanted to use the sauna and steam room afterwards. We didn’t in the end as they are not in the spa but in the noisy gym and it wasn’t what we wanted so wasted of money there! The massages and facials themselves are to die for. The girls really looked after us and made sure everything was perfect, the overall cleanliness was fab although there are some pretty big spiders and they could scare even the bravest of people. We asked about lunch but was told they don’t cater for lactose or gluten so we were probably best eating elsewhere. strange place to go for a treat and will be sticking to private spas from now on so the experience can continue all day not just the 90 minutes you pay for.
Negative experience: Bought voucher just before lockdown not knowing what was around the corner. Went into lockdown and voucher expired during this time. Spa didn’t honour this considering their facilities were out of use at this time. A lot of money down the drain
Negative experience: Once a great gym and club, was a member for a 10+ years but cancelled due to the demise of the club in the last 12 - 18 months. It's not a fraction of the club it once was, the recent invasion of a certain community of new members that I can only describe as non-desirable has made some area's in the club a no go zone at times and very intimidating through their behaviour and lack of respect for rules and hygiene in the changing rooms and pool areas. The changing rooms have really deteriorated, out dated and constantly stink of stagnent water, the showers are disgusting to a point that I refuse to use them but they are due to get refurbished in October 2022 which will make a big improvement hopefully. Also it frustrating that the hot tub constantly breaks down, it needs replacing or improved servicing to maintain it's reliability. The weights area that I predominantly use can be so over crowded at times that I've cut many sessions short due to lack of equipment available. The cardio machines are hardly ever full so they could improve things replacing some cardio equipment with some new weights machines. There is zero atmosphere in the reception area now yet at one time there used to be regular social nights organised with live bands etc which were fantastic, nobody really seems to eat and drink there anymore during the times I've visit. The Manager can often be seen laid back in his chair with his feet up on the table in his office talking loudly on the phone which is completely unprofessional and gives an arrogant impression for anyone to see who walks past. Its a shame that this once fantastic gym and club has let it's standards slip so far. Time for a big refurb and reshuffle otherwise long term genuine members like myself will continue to leave. Once Pure Gym opens I anticipate that there will be significant numbers cancelling their memberships at Bannatyne's.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym !!! The changing rooms are outdated and absolutely filthy ! If you're thinking of using a relaxing spa area then forget it as kids public swimming lessons have completley ruined it for everyone. Also classes are being taken in the gym area which means weights & machines are out of use. I tried to close my membership and the manager Paul Axford Makes this incredibly difficult for you which is disappointing after being a loyal member for many years and all through Covid. Avoid !!!

Positive experience: Gym is very good. Loads of equipment. Swimming pool needs a bit of cleaning as well as changing room but generally okay.
Negative experience: Over crowded and not enough equipment, just interested in getting as many members through the door, which then makes it over populated especially in the free weights area, certainly doesn’t have enough free kit for people that do weight training, prefect if your a runner as they have 1000s of running machines for no need, definitely not worth £50 a month
Positive experience: A decent club. The changing rooms feel rather grubby though
Negative experience: Disappointed that a spa day does not provide towels and does not tell you in advance. If you don't bring your own there is a £6 pp additional charge
