Negative experience: Getting fed up of this gym I pay for a premium membership but they never refill the Yanga machine so it’s always plain water coming out. Additionally, there is no cleaning products to wipe equipment down after use. No wonder I’m always getting ill. Sort it out.

Fantastic experience: Very happy, great value, friendly and helpful instructors, classes included (I like HIIT and Lift ...pay extra for Zumba, Yoga, Pilates). Good range of equipment, clean, open 24 hours and you can see on the app how busy it is at any point in time. Works great for me The parking isn't a problem at all, just make sure you put your car reg in when you arrive.

Fantastic experience: I wasn't so sure about it at first but they do have a lot of kit, it's just more spaced out. Found the leg press machine hidden around the corner away from other leg machines. Pretty sure I'll come here again. Parking is on Sainsbury's car park don't forget to log you reg when you get in.

Fantastic experience: Been going since it opened and have enjoyed every minute of my time there. Loads of spaces to park. Nice and clean inside with plenty of space and equipment to train on. I generally go for the classes which are led by friendly and helpful trainers that help me get the most out of the sessions. Highly recommend it for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The staff is Friendly, the Place is very clean with diverse and high end equipment to do my workout routines.i love the fact that the floor is split into different areas depending on the type of workout and the mood I am in. Worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: First time of signing up to a gym and i love it, i have been with my husband who also attends this gym and worked out together which gave me a boost of confidence. I attended my first class yesterday of Zumba and for the ladies out there if you want a workout and to sweat loads them Zumba is a must do class. I love dance and music and this was fantastic Lindsey was lovely to say i wasnt confident when i first started out but i soon picked up the foot work and followed her. The showers are also fantastic. They have a hair dryer which i definately need for my hair being long and thick. Plenty of lockers also. So far this gym is great for everything.

Positive experience: It's ok. Not a lot of weight equipment, a few machines, this is a commercial gym. Classes, cardio, and that. Like the gym group. It'll do until you max all weights and machines out.

Fantastic experience: Got myself a three day free pass to try it out as it is closer to home than my normal gym. It's quite small and was really busy when I went but I managed to get done what I needed to without waiting for machines amd the staff were friendly. The place is nice and clean and equipment is fresh! Would defo recommend if you don't need to train at busy times.

Negative experience: Bad layout, most of the machines are no good, poor ROM. The classes are held out in the open which must not be very nice for the people taking part and it’s certainly annoying for everyone else in the gym.

Fantastic experience: A great gym! People who are complaining about the parking, it says everywhere on entry to the gym that you need to enter your reg into the tablet as you go into the gym. The equipment is great, the instructors at the gym classes are friendly and not intimidating at all. Overall a really nice gym with 24 hour access :)

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Welcoming atmosphere, no judgement from any of the trainers who work there & classes make a great addition to any training plan with all the instructors bringing a different feel to the studio. PureGym Colwick has made me fall back in love with training.

Fantastic experience: Joined the first week Colwick opened and have really enjoyed it. I mainly do the classes, my favourite has to be Step with Brian, who works us, but makes it fun! Classes are shorter in length than other gyms, but they are more focused, working harder in a short time. Plenty of good equipment, always working!

Fantastic experience: Aside from not liking the fact that the steppers face the wall which makes me not use them as it is really demotivating, i'm really pleased with this gym. Never a problem getting on equipment. No meatheads, ooofing, groaning and hissing. Most important thing though, is how spotlessly clean it is! It feels like a nice hygienic environment to work out in until the odd mindless w%nK3r sweats all over the equipment and doesn't clean up after themselves! The staff are great, the cleaners do an AMAZING job and its really great to see the staff including the management rolling their sleeves up and doing their bit! Also glad to see that some of the rather sleazy PTs have not migrated, you have got the good ones from what I have seen :-) Keep up the great work! :-) One small recommendation - please get a social media presence, so we can tag you to say nice things about our experience :-) I can't keep saying i'm in Basford!

Negative experience: Like a sauna inside. Thick horrible air with no air con for some reason. It’s also pretty small with only one of most non-cardio equipment

Positive experience: Car park is a hot topic where you have to register your car when you go in, especially outside of Sainsbury’s opening hours or you get fined. The gym itself is decent, changing rooms are small though compared to others.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, enough equipment. Very quiet during late hours. All of these reviews about getting parking fines are from people who clearly can't read. At the entrance you have MULTIPLE printed messages saying to put in your registration, literally as you walk in, on both doors. Missing the cleaning products, apart from that, great.

Positive experience: Good gym, it's new to the area and I have recently joined. Definitely better that everlast. There is plenty of equipment which means I am not having to wait long when wanting to do certain exercises

Negative experience: I don't have to register my car when I visit the Sainsbury's or the Starbucks so why do I have to do it when I go to the gym? It's easy to forget to do it or make a mistake when typing it in. I've got two fines from Euro Car Parks already.

Positive experience: Clean Gym, gets busy in the evenings but you usually don’t have to wait too long for any machines. Take note of the car parking machine on the right hand side of the entrance.

Negative experience: As several others have mentioned, members are never told to register their car reg every time they enter the gym. As a result several members have received parking charges of £85. The management never took responsibility when it is clearly evident that 1) no free parking is allowed at the only available access to the gym and 2) no mention of the parking situation is included in the joining instructions and terms. Instead, when the problem emerged, management silently added A4 paper with warning about the need to enter the car reg at a tablet that is almost hidden behind a wall. Do not waste your time, money and above all sanity to become a member. I am cancelling mine.

Negative experience: I've been using the gym for 2 weeks and I've already received an £85 parking fine. Now they ask members register the car reg EVERY SINGLE DAY to avoid parking fines, that's ridiculous. UPDATE: My appeal has been rejected and PureGym still doesn't help. Customer service says it's nothing to do with them.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym- spacious, new equipment (obvs), mix of different people and no grunting clowns. Parking is free too (if you put your reg in when you arrive- ignore the bad reviews of people who didn’t do their homework or ask)

Negative experience: Poor show from pure gym. Posted on social media 5 times a day for 8 weeks trying to get people through the door stating free parking at Sainsbury’s and forgot to mention the caveat that you need to put your registration details in. No signage to state this just a small pad not easily on display if you aren’t looking for it and no communication via email. 12.99 a month sounds fantastic until it’s 85 quid to park. Should have put a bit more focus on your social media/ communications in emails to let customers know, quite clearly reading the reviews and on Facebook this is a communications issue from pure gym and quite frankly customers should be reinstated for your lack of communication, putting it on your website now is too little too late

Negative experience: Just had a £85 parking ticket through for training less than 2 hours, can be doing without this stress, I pay a monthly membership and expect parking to be free when it says its FREE PARKING

Fantastic experience: Brand new gym..really well equipt and designed. It feels higher end. There are signs on every door to remind people to register their car registration. The staff are really good , led as a strong team by a great manager

Bryan was a legend in his own right It was a very pleasant experience, as I had never been active in a gym before, and the trainer explained the benefits as well as how it may improve my well-being and my physical appearance. So yes off to download the App and sign up. Thank you Brian
