Positive experience: Been going here for a year and for the most part it has been good but I feel like I should mention the fact that one of the personal trainers is suuuuper touchy with his female clients. Have seen some very suspect stuff and two of my friends that went to the gym have similar experiences

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ude a personal trainer at Pure Gym, Shoreditch, highly enough. I have been to his classes and he has given me guidance on the gym floor when needed numerous times. His extensive range of knowledge and skills is truly impressive, but what sets him apart is his ability to genuinely understand and support individuals with unique challenges. As someone with multiple health conditions, I often find it difficult to feel seen and understood in fitness spaces. However, Ude has been one of the first people to not only acknowledge these challenges but also provide thoughtful and practical advice on how to overcome them. His compassionate approach and encouragement have made a world of difference for me, and I feel stronger and better equipped to achieve my goals. Usually I would not have the confidence to come to the gym alone but knowing the staff at this gym are friendly, supportive and knowledgeable has changed this for me. I really recommend Ude if you're looking for a trainer who truly cares, listens, and knows how to help you succeed no matter your circumstances. I would like to add that every staff member I have met has also been very welcoming and friendly making this gym a great environment.

Positive experience: Very affordable priced membership with a good range of facilities, there's something available for everyone here and it's a great safe space to take some out time for yourself and nurture your wellbeing. Staff here are friendly and knowledgeable, although I've been to many classes, in addition to using the machines and the studio, I must say Ude has been a godsend in encouraging me along my fitness journey (I'm a more recent gym covert). He is an accredited professional PT who has a very warm and calm manner, and broad range of knowledge which he's always happy to share with you even if you don't book a session with him. Including advice on food / recipes that may work well for you as an individual, he has a fine tuned attention to detail and rather than just telling you some exercises to try he will always teach you how to do them properly so you get the most out of each workout, AND on top of all that, he's an experienced yoga teacher too so a great person to chat to no matter your personal goals. I must also give props to Marco who's a more recent addition but also a really positive spirit with great energy - check out his classes too! If you're thinking to join I'd definitely recommended here, it's a rolling membership and there're always offers on so you won't lose anything but could definitely gain. Come along and join the Pure Gym family and if you are looking for PTs or just some advice I would personally definitely recommend them both! The only reason for 4 stars is that it would be good to increase the amount of cleaning spray around the building to make it more widely accessible and help support cleanliness but other than that no complaints - and unlike mentioned in other reviews I have not yet managed to fry any chips on the apparently sufficiently well-greased machines (that comment did make me chuckle) Although if chips are on the menu, there's a great chip shop across the road on Redchurch Street, have a few for me too as chips do hold a special place in my heart <3

We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols, including the introduction of cleaning stations, to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment. Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym for about 1.5 years. The gym is no-frills (like other pure gyms) but has a decent amount/ range of machines and equipment and is clean enough. All of this is expected for the price, which I think is very affordable. I am giving a 5 star review to my PT, Ude. Ude has been my PT for 1.5 years. I didn’t know how to lift any weights and I wanted to get proper guidance to do it effectively and avoid injury. Ude listened to my aims but what I really appreciated is that he noticed aspects about my posture, body alignment and movements in general and tailored the exercises to make them easier or more effective for me. He even bought a special bar to enable me to squat with a better posture. Ude is always in a good mood and I really enjoy training with him because he pushes and encourages me the right amount while also adjusting to my needs and progress. It’s a testament to him that I originally intended to get a PT for just a few months until I knew the technique for the machines but I have carried on because I still see the benefit and I enjoy training with him. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for some time, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The facilities are great, always clean, and there’s a good variety of equipment for all fitness levels. What really sets this place apart is the staff, especially Ude. He’s an incredible personal trainer who goes above and beyond to help clients. Ude is always approachable, ready to offer advice or assistance without hesitation. His positive attitude and genuine care for people make a huge difference. Even when he’s not officially training someone, he’s often encouraging members or sharing tips to improve their workouts. If you’re looking for a gym where you feel supported and motivated, this is the place! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I joined PureGym Shoreditch almost two years ago, and I’ve been very happy with my experience so far. The gym is well-maintained, the equipment is in good condition, and the staff is always welcoming. One of the Personal Trainers and Fitness Instructors, Ude, has been particularly helpful. He’s kind and always provides me with useful training tips. Recently, I was struggling with back pain after deadlifts and experiencing low muscle engagement during hip thrusts. Ude quickly identified the adjustments I needed to make and explained the techniques in a way that was easy to understand. Thanks to his guidance, I can now perform deadlifts without any back pain and feel proper muscle activation during hip thrusts. Ude has made a real difference in my training journey. I strongly recommend him if you are looking for a personal trainer.

Positive experience: Well equipped gym
Positive experience: Came for a drop-in, the day pass is a good deal for this gym considering they have Eleiko weightlifting barbells (incl. 15 kg) and wooden platforms.
Negative experience: Louder and bad music, I can't even listen my headphones. Ridiculous. The cold air is always too strong when you are cycling or running. No one kf the manager care to reduce the fan. Totally disappointed.. This gym is just a common place where you can do everything you want. Too much mess everywhere, and most of the stuff are missing so you have to look around.
Negative experience: My experience with this gym was positive until an incident involving a staff member occurred. Despite the gym’s promotion of a safe space for all members, this was undermined when a staff member (Ude) engaged in sexual harassment. I reported the incident to the gym managers (stephen and rose) and was contacted by the Safe Space team after extensive email communication. The Gym Manager (Stephen) informed me that HR and himself had conducted a full investigation, and that the staff member involved was deeply sorry and wished to apologize. However, I believe the investigation was mishandled. The Gym Managers email suggested that the staff member (Ude) apology was deemed sufficient. Despite CCTV footage clearly showing the incident, the individual in question was not suspended, leaving me feeling very uncomfortable. Moreover, this was not an isolated incident, as there have been other similar cases involving the same staff member. This makes me think the seriousness of such incidents is being brushed under the carpet, with the hope that people will accept an apology and move on. Despite this, the Gym Manager and HR seem to believe that an apology is sufficient, failing to address the serious issue of sexual harassment by this staff member. No one, male or female, should be touched inappropriately without consent, and it is unacceptable to treat such behavior lightly. Sexual harassment, whether directed at males or females, is entirely unacceptable. I strongly believe that if this incident had involved a female victim, it might have been handled differently. Males can also be victims of such behavior, but in this case, it seems male experiences are not being taken seriously. I would advise caution with this gym. The current managers, Rose and Stephen, have been involved in posting misleading reviews, and the facility is not as well-maintained as it once was. The previous management team was excellent, prioritizing cleanliness and the safety of all members. However, under the current management, this is no longer the case. For your well-being, I recommend exploring other options.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only been going for a little over a month and even though the classes are hard, they are always worth it. Jyde’s Bodytone class on Thursdays can be hard but he makes it fun and tries to push you to be better and stronger!

Negative experience: 1 year, 4 months and the lift STILL hasn't been repaired. THIS IS NOT AN INCLUSIVE GYM AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR DISABLED CUSTOMERS!! I decided ages ago that Puregrim would never get another penny from me but I think it's important to keep highlighting this issue regardless. Do not reply asking me to contact anybody about this issue because I already have, numerous times and you're all about as useful as a paper drill. Also to elaborate- It's a single button in the lift that has malfunctioned, the lift is still regularly used by members of staff to take rubbish bags up from the ground floor to street level! Gross company!
Positive experience: Basic commercial gym, nothing too fancy or suitable for more serious gymgoers, but I guess could be a lot worse than this as well. Only one power rack (with wooden floor) with some squat racks with soft floors. The flooding situation is annoying as they like to close the gym for some days and point you to nearby gyms (that are not superclose) with even inferior selection fo weights and machines
Fantastic experience: Specious and nice Gym. Great Staff. Rosy was very helpfull.
Negative experience: The A/C system cannot deal with the volume of people who visit the gym. It is incredibly hot at all times, and unbearably hot for cardio at peak times.
Positive experience: The members of staff are pleasant. Everyone is friendly, including the gym members. There's a family atmosphere about the place, where everyone looks out for each other. The changing room is spotless. The only downside is that the lighting in the studio works by sensor, so I was unable to turn the lights down while I was practising my yoga workout. All in all, it's a lovely gym to visit.
Negative experience: So disappointed that there’s no AC in here. Will take for someone to develop heatstroke before these people turn it on
Negative experience: AVOID!!!! Their bathrooms always had a FLOOD, and at one point they closed the gym FOR FEW WEEKS. Rather than refund as I asked, they gave access to other gyms. NOW how are we supposed to travel to other gyms as they far away?? CANCELLED my Membership, and now I joined THEGYM, MUCH BETTER FACILITIES AND NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE

Fantastic experience: Needs a hack squat equipment. Otherwise very happy with the staff, always helpful and friendly, special mentions to Rose Burton... The location of the gym is great, brick Lane is outside its doorstep, Liverpool St is not far away, for medium shopping. So far so good.
Positive experience: Spacious and clean gym and not too busy during off-peak hours. Would like to see a hack squat machine added to their current inventory.

Negative experience: DANGEROUSLY HOT. Been a member of this gym for multiple years but in the past year or so they have introduced a penny pinching A/C system whereby the temperature in the gym is JUST TOO HOT. I have complained in person and and by email but nothing has been done. I will be contacting the relevant authorities until this issue is fixed. If you someone who pushes themselves to the limit when you work out, you sweat and generate a lot of heat. However, the immense temperature inside this Puregym will make you feel like dying - it is extremely uncomfortable. DO NOT go to this gym if you work out HARD.
Positive experience: Great gym brand. Branch has a good range of kit but is a little delapidated and i can't get phone signal within. Gets very busy at peak times
Positive experience: I had some trouble getting in and none of the dumbbells were in the right spot, but otherwise a great gym for a visitor. Reserve a day pass before you go and make sure to get a PIN in your email first.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been member in this gym for 3 years nonstop. Best place if you practice Calisthenic!
Positive experience: I’ve been coming here for a year now, the facilities are good but do not think you’ll get to train legs after 5pm and watch out for the leaky ceilings!!
Positive experience: Pretty decent gym. Downstairs weights room can be quite packed but the tracker on the app for number of people there is good to see how busy it is. Below 50 and should be ok.
Fantastic experience: Spacious, lot of equipment and well designed. I had a very good workout. PS, I'm not here to spend more time in the changing area than the weights floor, so well enough for me in this area

Negative experience: There are leaking pipes everywhere, the air conditioning is often turned off during times of high temperatures or it’s not working. The management really need to make some urgent changes to get it up to the standard of the other branches. The staff are very friendly but the building management is very poor.
Fantastic experience: Decent gym that is good value for its price given the location (just off brick lane). It's downstairs and sometimes has flooding issues which can be annoying, but good quality equipment; given the location price it's a pretty good deal have been going for years.
Negative experience: I’m writing this review to make a formal complaint about general Manager PAUL BOAKYE-ANSAH above who suspended my monthly gym membership account today. The incident occurred today 16th May 2023 between 12:30 to 1pm. Th member of staff above abuses their power to pin point certain gym members on how they dress and behave, in my point of view that is total stereo type and discrimination. The incident was about me using the bicycle machine and sweat was left behind which I wanted to clean up. However, I was "rudley"approached by Paul with negative body language to clean up after the work out. I explained to him I am not finished and will clean up after I finished my exercise. I also wanted to pin out the fact that he waited inpatiently for me to wipe my sweat before attacking me with foul body language. In fact, I noticed he only stopped me and did not do the same to another person who was there, but used a different machine treadmill. I am ashamed as I wanted Puregym to know, I suffer from Aspergers and feel discriminated by your fellow member of staff who is abusing his position to select a view individuals. I did ask Paul why he didn't decide to stop other person his response was " I don't know him"!. I was puzzled and questioned the fact that you don't know me neither but decide to stop me only. I will never use Puregym again and will look for other gyms elsewhere who value vulnerable people like me who suffer from a disability. I have also send this to HR.
Positive experience: Good, affordable gym. Pretty clean. Love the classes. Caradyn, Adem & Ude are particularly excellent instructors; motivating, kind & supportive of those of us with less confidence or experience with fitness.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, I visit 4-6 times a week and is my 1st choice from any other PureGym.
Negative experience: It’s a gym that is not too expensive and it is open 24/7. It has a lot of equipment as well. But, the equipment could be newer and the yoga mats definitely need replacing. Apart from that the ceiling in both floors is dripping in a few places, which frankly makes me question how safe everything is some times. Furthermore the facilities could be cleaner
Negative experience: I actually enjoy this gym but unfortunately the owners don't care about their disabled customers. Lift "broke" in December 2022 (the alarm doesn't work but the lift is still being used by staff to cart bin bags up from the lower ground)- It's now April 17th 2023 and I've had no update whatsoever about when I might be able to return despite having reached out numerous times! This is at least the second time this has happened. The first time I was given access to two other gyms- one of which had a lift that was also broken and the other scarcely had room to walk through let alone navigate a wheelchair. Do better or don't claim to be an inclusive gym! ♀️ Edit- October 11th 2023 and still no update re the lift! Looks like they're going for a full year+...
Positive experience: First week, At the moment I would like to give it five stars, however due to higher prices I would give it a four!! Not exactly value for money, I'm a plus member (above regular and above core memberships) So let it be a few more months and then I'd probably have a better detailed review.
Positive experience: Large with lots of equipment, though slightly outdated compared to some of the newer PureGyms, but all in a all another great value gym option.
Negative experience: Are you guys kidding me. paying £45 a month for this gym. and there is no air conditioning at night time at all. no massage chairs (even there is space for 1 at least) finsbury park and muswell hill got some. ) just because its more central London you guys are over priced. Get air con back on because it is stuffy here and unable to work out properly. This and hoxton gym. then i change my rating.
Positive experience: PureGym got rid of all of my favourite classes: Zumba, Pilates and Boxing, these classes were also very popular so I don’t understand why they were cancelled. Please PureGym, bring them back! I’m forced to cancel my membership because the remaining classes do not offer enough variety. I would happily pay extra for these classes. Pro: the gym never seems to get very busy. The wifi does work after you set it up. Con: little variety in classes after the recent cuts

Positive experience: Great gym but only 3 stars as the very popular Monday night boxfit classes are no longer running. It was always so full of people! Please bring it back!!

Positive experience: Genuinely good value for money gym, but very recently got rid of the only class I even go to the gym for with my partner, Boxing. Similarly, my partner who goes 4x a week had this also with her other two favourite classes of Pilates & Zumba. I do understand to some extent the budget cuts, but it's likely people will be cutting back on more expensive gyms to join PureGym so seems like maintaining class investment, especially in the best ones would actually be the smartest thing to do rather than to cut them and actually lose customers and regular revenue as we switch to another gym membership with the classes we want.

Positive experience: Really nice gym with some modern equipment. Great functional area and spacious weights area but it’s underground so there no cellphone signal ! Doesn’t get too busy at peak periods which is great. I’ll probably go back if I have to but wouldn’t be my first choice of puregyms.

Negative experience: Hi, I am a member of one of your competitor’s gyms and I have been for a few years now. My partner and I noticed that your puregym is pretty much on our doorstep (shoreditch, by brick lane, time I visited was about 15 minutes ago) our regular gym isn’t as close, so if this puregym was any good then it would possibly be worth the slight cost increase for the convenience. We arrived, there is no one to greet us. We press the buzzer for help and a guy eventually answers. I ask ‘hi, I’m interested in possibly joining is there someone here I can speak to?’ To which he responds ‘yeah, that’s me’. I hoped he would come speak in person and not through the intercom speaker as it was difficult to hear and can’t have a proper conversation. I asked if we could trial the gym and he said not for free, so I told him I won’t be returning. Rude, unhelpful, lazy interaction. But at least I now know not to bother with your business. This is no way to greet or entice new members. No, I don’t want a free day trial offered to me for this experience, I’d rather just go to my normal gym which is a lower cost and staff aren’t rude, lazy and unhelpful. Phil Verley

Negative experience: Great sized gym with potential but often smells quite bad. When the equipment has broken takes over 2-3 weeks to get it repaired & often only one of that particular machine.

We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. Positive experience: Great gym with friendly staff and loads of facilities. Only downside is that it gets crowded at times and there are no boxing bags.

Positive experience: Good gym but equipment is often out of order for weeks on end. Several leaks seem to be permanent at this stage too.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. Fantastic experience: Nice gym but its frustrating that in their cleaning station only 1 of 4 disenfectant sprays are working every time I go there. Its been like that for months now , so maybe just get rid of the 3 and keep one on display instead of having those nonfunctioning products *would still keep the same review Lovely place to work out. Very clean! Respectful people around One more thing to maybe consider , lower the volume of the background music from 10pm onwards so that we can listen to our own playlist in peace.

Negative experience: First time there, didn’t even make it to the equipment, left and swapped branch, the end, won’t be back. My initial experience of pure gym was actually alright, but at another branch… my issues were in trying to change to a new branch closer to home. The process online is awful, and accidentally ended up getting joined to the wrong location, so when I went in I couldn’t access my chosen location. When I found out it had been moved to this location I went to train anyway as it was fairly close, and that’s where I discovered the worst gym experience of my life, (this location) and the pure team were no help and so I wasted £80 and couldn’t get a refund, or any resolution to their offensive staff.

Positive experience: It's ok, the plus is that there's enough equipment, the minus is that it is not well ventilated, and smells bad prob because it's underground. Weights are scattered everywhere as people don't care about returning them after they finish.

We pump over 2,000 litres of fresh air into our gyms every second though our ventilation systems. This helps to dilute airborne virus particles and ensure members have clean fresh air to workout. If you have any concerns we advise speaking to the Gym Manager. It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this. Thanks, PureGym
Negative experience: Don’t go here if you have a sense of smell. The entire place absolutely reeks of BO, so bad it’ll make you nauseous. There is a lot of equipment, but it’s strewn across the gym floor, total mess. Locker rooms are also grim, half of the lockers are broken.

Fantastic experience: Great experience of a gym from a newbie, wonderfully clean and has great equipment. The staff however, are even better! Jyd kindly introduced me to the machines, which are clap activated…not (I discovered this after giving the cross trainer a round of applause!). He then gave me a core workout I didn’t think I could survive! Most friendly and motivating crew. Ude also gets a shoutout for bringing an aura of peace and joy, couldn’t ask for more of a gym!

Fantastic experience: I only go at night when the gym is empty. So that will be my review. Its a very large gym and plenty of machines. They are always clean. Not much to say but if you want peace and quiet and no waiting time in the gym, the night is the best in this gym. However, sometimes I come to find weights are scattered everywhere. This can't be helped as staff leave at a certain time. It's up to the people to put them back. But overall very nice gym and regularly cleaned.

Negative experience: Good gym, but always closed due to flooding or something. They offer no compensation for those members that are on premium membership (they expand our account to use other gyms, but if you already paying more than £40+ per month.. they offer nothing) So machines Sleeem to be out of order for over a week... Lets see how long it take for them to be repaired it's been 4 weeks now and the 3 machines out of order are still broken (22/05/22) The gym is generally nice, clean and well equipped. They are open 24/7 which is nice for those that have odd working hours.

Negative experience: The gym has been closed for days. What is the advantage of offering free passage to other gyms? I pay this gym for being close to home and my schedule is tight. I need to workout every day. I've never seen this happen anywhere else in the world. I want to see if my membership will come out cheaper this month.

Positive experience: Very good gym maintained well and members actually put their weights away which is wha should happen at all pure gyms but sadly some don't respect the gyms. I don't like the fact the gym is downstairs and the Internet on the phone does not work and the WiFi is useless too, that issue needs to be looked at as I cannot even play my music whilst working out

Negative experience: This is the worst gym I have been to so far and I am puzzled about the seemingly positive reviews stating how spacious it is and how great the selection of equipment is - because it simply is not. The gym is in a basement, so there are no windows which gives off a bad vibe with no natural light + the air is quite stuffy. The selection of equipment is a joke. There is an entire floor dedicated to cardio with an abundance of unused treadmills and steppers. However, you always have to wait for the machines that are actually used often. In my opinion that is really inefficient use of the limited space. For example there is only one leg press in the entire gym, which you always have to wait for unless you go some time at night. For the past few weeks it has been out of use, which is terribly annoying. There is no incline bench press and the general selection of equipment is not that good either. The free weights area is usually very crowded (and not exactly covid-secure) and weights and dumbbells are all over the place with no one making an effort to put them in the right place. I try to go outside of the peak hours but it still feels crowded because if there is just one machine for hamstring curls, I'll still have to wait if someone is using it. I rarely see staff around that could help with exercises or administrative questions. For a few weeks last year the gym just randomly closed because of some issue, so I had to go to the Whitechapel one in the few weeks that the gyms were actually open in England. Aside from the opening hours, for me the only positive thing is that it is right next to where I live, otherwise I would never come here.

We have over 220 bits of kit in each gym and aim to have a broad spread, so we can cater to a range of fitness needs whilst meeting demand as it changes throughout the day, getting the balance right between cardio and weights. If you have any suggestions on kit that the gym requires please speak with the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is reviewed regularly. On the layout, as we do not own the buildings for our gyms it is not always possible to extend the site itself. We are always looking to improve our facilities where possible and will regularly review our sites. Negative experience: My main concern about this company is the contact opportunities. In the 21st century, that you think it's acceptable to hide behind a list of social media links, as an excuse for efficient support, when any other gym has the courtesy to answer their phone, you claim you might respond to a FB msg within 72 hours! Impressive stuff. Provide some reasonable customer support, and 'll give you a better rating.

Positive experience: Internet was not working for a few weeks, asked customer service to let me use another gym while the fixed the internet but they refused, I need internet connection for work all the time and when in the gym your phone network and bones Internet goes down as the gym is below ground level.

Fantastic experience: There’s lots of space and equipment, I’ve never been and not gone straight on to use the piece of equipment I came to use. Clean, good shower facilities and the staff are friendly. It can get real busy though that’s just the nature of the beast.
Negative experience: The customer service is horrifying. I've always had poor experiences with PureGym's customer service. The communication takes forever and it's always unclear and you never end up with any satisfactory resolution. My experience: I asked whether I could be refunded because I ended my membership and usually that would mean you get to continue using the gym until your next date of payment. However, that isn't possible because of the tier 4 lockdown and I still would have had 21 days of the gym left which I can no longer use. The response I got: "All memberships to gyms in Tier 4 areas are automatically frozen, and any payments taken will be used as credit towards your bill when gyms re-open" How is that relevant to my query and what does that mean? If I'm cancelling my payments how would it be used as credit towards my next bill? If you want to email them they send you an irrelevant response and resolving anything is near impossible because if you're dissatisfied you then have to wait another 5 days to recieve another generic irrelevant response. It's so frustrating. Update: I've been told that under no circumstances do they ever provide a refund which is ridiculous considering the current pandemic. In the past they've overcharged me and refused to refund me so I can't even say I'm surprised. I was supposed to be charged £23.99 and they took £38 from my account (I had only used the gym 3 times due to the pandemic that month). They've essentially taken my money for which they're providing no sort of service in return. That doesn't sound like a transaction but rather someone just taking your money. I wouldn't recommend going to PureGym. I can't stand bad customer service and by far this is the worst experience I've ever had. It's a massive waste of money find a gym that's better value. Both of my brother's go to a different gym and have never had the problems I've faced.
Negative experience: People are coughing in the gym not covering their dirty mouths as they do so, staff are Wearing fake face coverings, one of these most non Covid compliance gyms I’ve been to.

Positive experience: EDIT: Based on the seemingly automated response that was sent by PureGym to this review. There are clear recommendations in this review, hopefully something can be put into practice as it is NOT obvious that you are putting a lot of effort into making the gym safer and cleaner... Good gym and well-equipped but far too busy especially during the current times. Though this is a good gym, the sheer amount of people who pass through within an hour makes it difficult to recommend. Some way of managing a maximum number of people at a time needs to be enforced as there is little confidence that people are cleaning their equipment and maintaining any sort of distance in an enclosed space where people typically wouldn't be wearing masks is ridiculous. There is a wealth of equipment and different things to facilitate the majority of workouts that the typical gym-goer would need. Great gym but only go in the late evening or early morning outside of the busy hours.

Negative experience: The absolute WORST Horrific hygiene standards (I see them wiping the foot holds of equipment on running machines/bikes with the same cloths as the handles, which is unacceptable) They ripped me off by taking off the freeze on my account without telling me and charging membership for the month of July when they only reopened on the 27th! AVOID

Positive experience: The cheapest in the area, so you can't expect much from it. It smells bad, and it's not sparkling clean. It has a cool vibe though, and if you go after 9pm it's almost empty.

Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each night to carry out and comply with internal and external audits. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. Negative experience: no AC for weeks. feels like working out in the height of summer. always issues with this branch. your staff keep lying about when it will be fixed. they said they'll turn it on in 2 hours. yeah right... send someone down there asap

Fantastic experience: great gym. open 24/7...365
Positive experience: I've been an avid gym goer for years and coming to this gym over a year ago I was very impressed. Lots of space, equipment and classes! I recently made a comment to the manager about the classes and it was quickly rectified. There are plenty classes and thy are all really good if you're a class person. The staff are all friendly and nice also. Remember to bring a lock and towel with you!

Positive experience: Gym is OK, could be bumped up higher if it had better price points and more bumper plates/weights. At peak times there isn't enough weights to go around for people who lift heavy which is a shame this is simply a case of stocking up on more of the basics. Aside from this the gym has excellent selection of machines and facilities it just seems more focused on upselling rather than providing a core experience in most cases.
