Tanterton Green

Positive experience: Tanterton Green is to the north of Ingol, accessible from Tanterton Hall Rd and Tag lane and is part of Tanterton Village Centre. It has a good size football pitch, used by Tanterton FC the local team. You can walk round the field on the path, which then lead on to the various housing estates. The access is good and suitable for prams, pushchairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and push bikes. The ground on the play area is soft bark so there is a bit of cushioning from falls, the trim trail is on grass. Along with the field there is a trim trail with signage to explain the exercise. The kids play area is part of the trim trail, the monkey bars are on the climbing frame and there is a fireman's pole to slide down! For smaller children there are swings (with safety holder) and an activity train with slide. For older children the climbing frame is made up of a net climb, balance board (that spins) monkey bars/climb over the top and the fireman's pole. The rest of the items belong to the trim trail, pull up bars, balance beams, parallel bars, step up bar and so on. It's not massive but it's well maintained with benches along the path.
