Positive experience: I had a guided tour of Liskeard Leisure Centre with a view to becoming a member. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. I'm looking forward to joining.

Positive experience: Went here while in the area on Easter break. Booked in on a morning swim for fitness session. Staff welcoming and helpful. Main pool and changing rooms felt quite tired. Also was a pool where there is no overspill or anything at the edge, so it actually became quite choppy in the water for an indoor pool. Fine if you are used to outdoor swimming, but can catch you off guard if not. The pool also was very shallow in the shallow end for any kind of turn, the seams where the wall meets the floor is curved so just added to the difficulty of turning with any speed.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly recommend for all sorts of sporting activities. Just started the walking football with walking netball too. All the facilities are maintained and the classes well organised and varied. Reasonable prices for membership.

Positive experience: Clean and not too busy, great parking. But confused on the need to book a slot, bit this may just be a thing at the time of day and day I went.

Positive experience: Lots of activities including Aquafit and a lovely poolside cafe

Negative experience: Paid £22 to take the family here for the 50 min swim for all. Loads of lifeguards on site but only 1 available for the session so all childrens areas closed making what should be a great facility very basic. Better were unable to confirm if the slides would be open or provide a telephone number for the center directl. Better off at tencreek

Positive experience: Cafe was nice, cakes were good. Pool was quite cool. I went with a young baby and unfortunately, the baby pool was shut for the first 30 minutes we were there due to staff issues. By this point, baby was bored and getting cold. So that was a shame. But over all staff seemed nice, changing rooms are okay, basic but it's a changing room! Overall, may come back but will call first to check staffing for baby pool.

Fantastic experience: Joined on Thursday with the help of Hilary after being shown around by Charlie. Facilities are great, the staff are professional and helpful; and to round it off the on site cafe is lovely & reasonable. Used the gym the next day, brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff. We joined because of this. And of course s place for tea and ect.

Negative experience: Used the pool and the "lifeguards" just spoiled it for me, they were so OTT with everything. I completely understand their role, but it just killed any fun we tried to have, we werent doing anything silly or dangerous either. This is just my opinion

Fantastic experience: Really nice atmosphere in the gym, beginner friendly. Changing rooms could do with an update but the pool is very nice. Great classes come included in the membership, I have tried a few and enjoyed them all. Great staff here.

Positive experience: Nice pool if slightly dated. Has a slide for the more adventurous kids, 8 year olds and above can use the slide unaccompanied and under 8’s need to be accompanied with an adult.. Changing rooms are again dated, lockers seem better days and trying to find one with a key is difficult

Fantastic experience: I have a membership so use it often, for the gym, swimming and fitness classes. Aqua fit and swimming lessons if you need them. Lots of facilities, friendly staff and open early till late. Large cafe with children's area and great coffee. Love it.

Negative experience: Myself and my son love the pool and the staff are friendly,the only thing is to be careful leaving anything in the changing room I literally left clothes and my disabled child's trousers were stolen (so some horrible people use the changing rooms)the staff do not enforce the disabled parking often as many times they parking spots are full with out badges I did tell a staff member and the response was its raining so people don't want to walk and did nothing.also lifeguards do not seem to have any control or do not enforce rules to customers I had a group of young lads hit me twice by kicking a ball outside of the pool in my pregnant stomach and even tho.i complained they continued lifeguards well aware as I told them in the end I hid the ball myself.

Positive experience: Nice big pool and very good centre but let down by cleanliness of the changing rooms. Always been the case over the years unfortunately.

Negative experience: Unfortunately this place needs a serious clean. Changing rooms stink and very very dirty. This isn't something they have just missed, this is months, if not years, of neglect.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool

Positive experience: Not local so was a first for us. The pool was great with very reliable staff. Haven't seen a small pool with at least 3 life guards on duty at the same time. Really good fun for small kids, but no diving allowed. We went as a family unit and are used to a 'changing village' where we can all shower together (wearing swimming costumes) and change in private cubicles but next to each other. I had to go to the ladies on my own to change while the rest of the family went to the mens. I only bought one lot of shampoo and wash so had to wait in the middle for my men folk to finish and give me the washing stuff. When I got changed there was no cubicles available and it was communal where I had to get changed in front of a teenage boy in the ladies and lots of small children. I have mobility issues but am not registered disabled so is quite embarrassing for me.

Negative experience: Receptionist didn't care, neither did the cleaners by the state of the changing rooms. The pool was ok. The centre was better before it was BETTER.

Fantastic experience: Great range of kit and never too busy

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym, everyone is friendly and you have a good diversity of workout machines and free weights. If it's really busy it might be difficult to get a bench or go on one of the machines as there's usually not many duplicates, but overall for the price it's a very nice and modern gym and you also get access to the swimming pool which is a nice bonus

Negative experience: The whole place needs a deep clean! The changing rooms and toilets are a disgrace and when mentioned to the staff you are met with rudeness, which is not uncommon for the staff, very unhelpful. The pool needs a clean and the slides are never open for the kids due to short staff.

Positive experience: Took the family to their Fun Swim session. When we arrived the lady on reception greeted us warmly, checked our reservation, then gave us a private tour of the facilities, which arrows to follow and where everything was. Really was appreciated considering we'd never visited before. The swimming pools were great. There was a main pool, connected to which were two smaller pools by slides which flowed into the main pool. There was an additional flume however this wasn't open when we went. The lifeguards rotated every 15 mins or so, and there was never any feeling of being unsafe. Covid precautions were also top notch. Would highly recommend if you're in the area. Welcoming, professional staff, great facilities and our kids loved it. Don't forget to book in advance though!!

Fantastic experience: Well layed out

Positive experience: Covid environment worked really well. Limited numbers allowed to train. Sections divided clearly for social distancing. Lots of sanitising stations. I prefer this to normal set up as users cleaned up after themselves which some people didn't do before covid.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been swimming here with my sister last month a couple times for the first time in years. The staff were very kind and welcoming and on the days we went the swimming pool was fairly peaceful. We really enjoyed it and the cafe is a great place to rest afterwards with some great food and drinks.

Positive experience: Good facilitates. However the gym hours limited for under 16 year olds which makes it harder to use and less beneficial.

Negative experience: I use the swimming and health suit lol when it's working, the whole thing I.e changing rooms, showers and health suit needs a revamp its tatty/disgusting . The swimming pool is also restricted, you have to wait to use the pool so no good if you want to go straight after work, and closes at around 3pm on a Saturday and 4pm on a Sunday! So no relaxing after you've done your shopping and after spending quality time with your family on a Sunday
