Fantastic experience: Nice place for swimming, nice staffs too, very welcoming

Fantastic experience: Central location, with a good range of services, full gym, swimming pool, hot spa, exercise classes. Friendly staff. Good subscription deals, if you use it regularly!

Positive experience: It's OK, not the best viewing experience, to watch your children in lessons, it's a bit warm in there and often not enough seating...

Negative experience: The people working here are really welcoming, friendly and helpful, but the gym facilities are really old and out dated.

Negative experience: What a shocking website can't even book for a swim

Fantastic experience: The fitness center has pretty much everything you could need unless you're a hardcore bodybuilder. Facilities are clean, staff is friendly, and the pool is quite big. I didn't use the spa, but it looks REALLY nice. Would definitely recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Do not recommend swim school

Negative experience: no spaces for swimming only one open swim a day for an hour and they won’t let you swim even if you pay for the £40 a month membership i went today counted 8 people in the pool and they won’t let you in it’s a pathetic gym and poksy pool

Negative experience: Very difficult to find an open swimming session even through the school holidays. Timetables are very disappointing. How is anyone suppose to take their children swimming.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service. We had been given three different prices over four days. Many questions asked as to why I wanted my grandaughter swimming in the fast lane. We had to say how fast she swims before allowed in. She is a stage 8 swimmer, and all that was required was her goal to swim 30 lengths each day. I was about to sign up a membership . However, this whole experience has changed my mind. Very expensive for a child of 10 years old to swim for 15 - 20 minutes.

Negative experience: Good facilities but sadly most staff on the early morning shift are miserable, ignorant and clearly have had no customer service training whatsoever. Appalling levels of customer service and not showing any signs of improving despite several complaints.

Positive experience: Not bad! Better than some company’s from Ramsgate Apesolutions are the worst.

Positive experience: Reasonably appointed gym but the music playlist hasn’t changed for at least a couple of years and I swear if I hear George Ezra again I’m ripping the speakers from the wall!

Positive experience: I went there today, Sunday 30th April 2023, and half of the pool was closed up for lessons which I didn't see on the website, but staff had informed me it was already on there which was confusing. They used the lesson part of the pool for about 20 minutes out of the 1 and a half hour of the time there was, which I found quite annoying, then to my surprise the swimming instructor used my friends soft ball as something, which at the time we didn't really care because we *thought* they would've of given it back just fine. We saw the instructor put it in the corner of one of the sides of the pool, where we knew where it was,but 5 minutes we were supposed to get out, it was not there.After the 90 minutes was over we got out, changed etc. While I was still getting changed my friend went to ask reception for the ball, and they had it! But there's a flaw, it had a puncture in it, so my friend had to dump the ball and wast given any leway for the mistreatment of his ball. But enough complaining it is a very good swimming pool when it isnt half taken up. I would recommend this for young people and people who like swimming as there is lanes and a kiddie pool.

Negative experience: When u ring for details there no answer to find out times and paying by card is a joke because some people do not have bank accounts and I think this is terrible and unprofessional way

Positive experience: We went for the Spa, and a massage it was nice, shame that the showers after the massage are awful, I think they should maybe charge less because of not having proper showers!!

Fantastic experience: Was shown around the Leisure centre yesterday by Ryan, he was so informative and helpful, made you feel very excited to join this facility.

Negative experience: Card payment only establishment. Did not stay, no refund for parking.

Negative experience: Really REALLY dirty toilets, changing rooms and poolside. Staff spoken to didn't care.

Positive experience: The pool is absolutely freezing! I take part in the aquanatal class and it’s not enjoyable because the pool is so so cold. The instructor is wonderful but it’s just so hard to do when you can’t warm up. It’s such a shame because it’s the only aquanatal class in the area and it’s the only exercise I can do but once I finish the classes I would not return to this leisure centre unless the pool was a realistic temperature and warmer.

Fantastic experience: My son has swimming lessons here. Staff are helpful and he's progressing well

Negative experience: Refused entry to the small pool to 4 small children that have never been to a swimming pool before and forced the to be on the main pool with teenagers jumping in and bombing one another. The small pool was also full of teenagers who could clearly swim and did not require being in the small pool. They stayed ot was unsafe as they had overbooked the small pool however they were happy for 3 of the small children to eventually go in with only one adult as they refused the other parents in or anywhere near the small p9ol. On top of this because we complained the woman arge then picked on the 5th and eldest child woth us a very strong swimmer saying she wasn't allowed in the main pool until this woman had seen her do 2 laps personally and then did not watch her swim to prove it and demanded she get out despite not being allowed in the small pool either as there weren't enough wristbands. The eldest child is a brilliant swimmer and was left deeply upset and she felt picked on by the woman who had not treated anyone else this way or demanded anyone else perform for her. Also no showers and all forced to cram to wash infront of lots of men in the pool area with everyone watching through windows from the outside. I am deeply disgusted and horrified.at the experience and will never be going back! Shame on you!

Negative experience: I have been waiting for a call back so I can join the gym for three days, no one answers the phone, I’ve already done the tour the girl who works there send off my application and nothing, very bad customer service very disappointed

Positive experience: The staff are all great, the Tony stark funky looking dude who was a life guard, felt the need to assert his dominance as a lifeguard and be rude, due to his incapability of communicating, I feel as though he may need to attend anger management classes. And Tony if you're reading this, you're a lifeguard not a war medic mate.

Negative experience: Terrible system in place , block booking ... everyone allowed through turnstile at same time, then once changed , if lucky enough to get a changing room , then made to wait poolside (no one in pool) until precisely 2pm . Then everyone's session ends at same time.... Queue for showers, queue for changing room.... ridiculous system

Fantastic experience: Staff are brilliant, swimming teachers are brilliant, facilities are brilliant. There is even a nice little cafe which is also brilliant.

Fantastic experience: My 6&7 y.o. children have swim school here. I am impressed with the quality of the instructors, each very good with their age/ ability group, all communicate well with the children, ensuring they are understood and that children know what to do. Small groups allow the instructors to tailor the advice to each child. My children enjoy it and are progressing so I am confident the lessons are successfully taught. From what I've seen of the place, it's kept clean, it's maintained, it has a friendly team and observant lifeguards. Most importantly, I feel my children are safe learning to swim here. They enjoy coming here. Their swimming ability has improved here. Happy to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool with great staff sometimes hard to get a space so book in advance if you can

Negative experience: The timetable for swimming is shocking, some days it's only open in the morning. The availability to be able to swim is non existent. Why bother at all to have a pool, when the times to use it is extremely limited. Absolutely disappointing.

Negative experience: 20p to use a locker and they’ve been adapted prevent you from getting the coin back after. Don’t forget to put anything in the locker or you’ll be paying twice!

Negative experience: Poor quality. Inductions must be undertaken due to a backwards insurance policy. No flexibility even for gym professionals. OK if you're over 65.

Positive experience: Just joined. The upfront membership offers were a clincher ... annuals of £186 for swimming and £274 for gym/swimming (they expire tonight unfortunately). Staff really helpful. I was given a good gym induction this afternoon. The centre looks in good nick.

Fantastic experience: There is a beautiful young girl called Lauren who works on reception, Her customer service skills are excellent, Always smiling, Always please n Thankyou, great knowledge, Fantastic conversationalist, great listener n if you ask her or she does something for you, ie, forms to fill, she came n found me in the toning room, to put me at ease with a problem, I hope you appreciate this wonderful young lady you have in your employment, she's a real asset n sure to go higher in what ever Lauren does in the future.

Fantastic experience: Bargain prices and made a nice change from the sea. We had to book on the website which was a pain but worth if for our girls to have a ice swim without having to worry about the weather.

Positive experience: My only disappointment is that there is no joint membership option making it way too expensive for our family to join. It is a great shame as not having this option is also losing Your Leisure money that they need.

Negative experience: Booking a slot for swimming was difficult due to the website being over complicated (IMO). Arrived for my slot only to find out I had booked a slot at Tides....was annoyed with myself for being careless however, the lady in front of myself had done the same thing....both of us said how we feel that the website is more concerned in grabbing your attention with a paid membership for classes etc rather than making it easy to book casual exercise slots. Unfortunately I wasn’t offered a refund or the option of changing my slot to one at ramsgate.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the gym at present , they are only offering 1 Rpm class in the weekday mornings and they are reduced because of the size of the room and the condition of the bikes. Unfortunately I've paid my annual fee and I'm not getting the classes I wanted. I don't expect to see any changes because the club never ask members if they are satisfied with the activities they are offering.

I would definitely visit more often if it was more affordable to go regularly for a family of 5 on a swim for all session. I do bring my LG every so often for parent toddler sessions but struggle to justify the cost otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym with brilliant classes and instructors. Have been going for a year non stop and feel fitter and I am definitely sleeping more. Always leave with a smile even if my body is aching. If you want to make changes go to the classes they really motivate you.
