Fantastic experience: Came here for a try dive with Scuba Cheshire which was amazing!! But as for the leisure centre itself, it was great, all the staff were super friendly and the changing rooms etc all exactly what you need!!

Negative experience: We go here for our lads swimming and whilst the swimming lessons are excellent, the facilities, Namely the changing spaces and specifically toilets are filthy. Horrible stench floats around what should be a clean sanitised space.

Negative experience: Slippery courts and booking inconsistencies! I've been booking a 1-hour badminton session for quite a while since late 2023. I usually play singles with my mate who is an intermediate-advanced player. The condition of the courts was far from satisfactory, with noticeable dust accumulation and a pervasive slippery surface. Navigating the court while remaining in-balance became quite challenging, particularly during intense game sessions, ultimately impeding the enjoyment of the sport. Furthermore, the staffs don't seem to be concerned and I had to bring my own mop to clear away the dust! Also, despite constantly booking for Court 6 (located in the back corner of the sports hall), it was often found occupied by players upon arrival. While I appreciate the efforts of the staff to accommodate the situation by setting up another court, this inconvenience detracted from the overall experience. I strongly urge for improved coordination to ensure that the reserved courts are ready for use BEFORE the session begins. (Setting up another court clearly takes up the precious playing time.) With the goal of ensuring a positive experience for all badminton players, addressing these maintenance concerns promptly would greatly enhance the overall experience for visitors. Thank you for your attention to this issue and I hope these issues could be resolved as soon as possible.

Positive experience: Nice gym. It has plenty of rooms to practice. My 4 stars goes for the pool. It is clean, but it needs to be refurnished. It has 20 meters, an extra 5 meters will make a big difference.

Negative experience: Pool absolutely freezing. Cost £17 for a family of 4 and my children got out after 20 minutes because their lips were blue. Still waiting for the manager to return my call! Cheaper to go to Hyde Leisure and enjoy a 90 minute swim!!

Negative experience: Pool is freezing!!!! Changing rooms often smell of urine. Pool and changing rooms very dated. Instructors very young and seem inexperienced, lifeguard just seem to be there for show and didn’t jump in when there was an issue. Poor instruction from teachers. Not enough instructors in the pool with inexperienced swimmers. Would recommend going elsewhere, there’s plenty of better options

Negative experience: Recently joined and I am very disappointed! The prime reason for me joining was to use the pool. To be honest you might as well not have the pool as part of the membership. You cannot use the pool on a single week night at peak time between 3.30 and 7 as there are lessons! EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! The pool is then shut completely and all night for members on a Tuesday and Thursday. On a Thursday, when the pool is shut the only class on offer all evening is Zumba. So apart from the gym no offering at all! The solution is to drive a 40 minute round trip to the next nearest centre and guess what, the pool there follows the same timetable. Utter joke! Needs sorting out!

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to swim and very clean, took my autistic son there this afternoon for the inclusive swim and it was fantastic, very quiet only us there and a freind! Lifeguard was very jolly and nice to. Will deffiently come back again.

Positive experience: Lovely when I got there, such a joy to swim again but oh my goodness registering on the website to be able to book online was impossible. It needs amending asap.

Positive experience: Post-covid limitations restrict numbers to 10 per 1.5 hour session. Equipment is well spaced out with sanitiser, disinfectant and paper towels in plentiful supply. A one way system is in operation and staff are happy to explain the "dos and don'ts". Well done to everyone involved!

Negative experience: Too hot inside the gym

Fantastic experience: Held our daughters swimming party here. There was a choice of inflatables or not, we paid the extra £15 and had them. So total cost was £78 which includes a number of life guards and the hire of a party room. The pool is a decent size of a kids party and is heated. Would recommend.

Positive experience: The staff are great. The swimming pool has water in it. Haven't used the gym so can't comment on that. It's a bit tired. Needs a bit of tlc. The hairdryer in the pool changing area is awful.
