Fantastic experience: Love how google tells me where I've visited.....I'm sure it's a lovely place as it looks nice from outside,HOWEVER walked past it to visit Greggs!...closest I intend to getting to the gym.

Positive experience: Is okay. They've now removed all of the sanitiser stations which people were using to wipe down machines after use. Toilets are pretty grim most of the time too.

We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols, including the introduction of cleaning stations, to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment. Fantastic experience: Great value for money. Great training areas and machines. The trainers/ managers could occasionally smile or say hello....and maybe not park in the handicapped parking space directly outside.

Positive experience: It just wasn't for me. My gym in Stourbridge closed and I was looking for a new gym to go to. I'm 15 mins from Stourbridge and the same to Bromsgrove too. I thought this gun would be the better one to go too. From the outside you would think it's a good size gym. I was wrong. I'm so used to having a certain amount of space between myself and the next person. This gym is a smaller gym. It has everything you would need in a gym it just wasn't for me. I went late morning on a Saturday and it was a little full. I was told that it gets even busier in the evenings. That couldn't work for me. The dude who showed me around was helpful and informative. I only attended once. It has a nice vibe, just too small for me. I'm still waiting on a refund (hint hint)

Fantastic experience: I signed on with my PT Paul for 8 sessions, training twice a week for 4 weeks. I was scared and nervous, being a complete beginner but knowing to reach my goals I had to do something. Not only has Paul increased my confidence and knowledge of the gym / exercises to help me I have lost 3inches of my waist in 4 weeks and with other loses all over. He puts up with me, and knows when i can do more than i think and pushes me. This has been an amazing progressive programme for me, with a great nutrition plan. So good I signed on for another 12 sessions. Honestly changed my outlook of weights, food and mindset. Thanks Paul. 5*****

Positive experience: Friendly and not intimidating
Positive experience: Decent gym. Probably the nicest PureGym in the area, as it's one of the newest. I started training here during COVID and it's always been well presented with friendly staff in my experience. PTs seem proactive and personable. As it's part of a chain, there's nothing outstanding here equipment wise. Also it seems to suffer from success as one of Bromsgrove's only remaining affordable gyms as it's always really busy.

Positive experience: Should there be more cable crossing and a big studio needed. I've been to some other PureGyms as well and the one in Bromsgrove is the smallest

Fantastic experience: One of the best pure gym’s I think. I’ve been a member of several, and used others when mine has had to close, and I think this one is definitely one of the best for equipment diversity and size.

Negative experience: Very small gym. Often extremely busy at times and hard to use machines and benches. Quite clean though and good parking.

Negative experience: Initially I rated this gym 5 stars when I moved here from another Pure Gym 7 months ago because I was impressed with better quality equipment and decent amount of space. Unfortunately it has gone downhill since then. The maintenance here is pretty much non existent. During my membership here things kept falling apart. The lockers were so awful that at one point there was only maybe 8 lockers available to use but some of them had locks permanently on, whether the user was in or not. It shouldn’t be like this. It took them probably 4-5 months to get it fixed. Staff and management were awful. Always locked themselves in the staff room or occupied gym equipment while they sat on them and had a chat with each other. Actually disgusting behaviour while the gym equipment is dirty, paper and disinfectant spray dispensers are empty. I’ve got nothing against having a chat with your colleagues but at least make sure the basics are done?? What lead to myself and husband leaving was when they had some issues with direct debit even though there was plenty of funds available. They slapped ridiculous admin fees on while we were on holiday when the issues wasn’t even our fault. Couldn’t even access the website to sort it because they basically block any other country from accessing the website due to “hacking”. What a joke. ♀️ We ended up cancelling and leaving. No way we’re using such a sad company.

Positive experience: Great place. BUT be careful which package you take out if you might want to cancel I didn't and now have to pay for the year!

However if you cancel a fixed term membership after the 14 day cooling off period you will only be entitled to a 50% pro rata refund of the remaining days. Member Services can advise further. Fantastic experience: I had a free 3 day pass and was nearby visiting family so it was a great time to try out. Accessing the gym was so easy! Great choice of equipment and lovely clean showers. I will be signing up to one near me.

Positive experience: Has all the things you would expect from a basic workout gym. Is very popular but is also a really small unit, so sometimes is a bit loud and cramped. That said it's a 24 hr gym, so you can pick your times around that.

Positive experience: Good gym for the money, clean and equipment is maintained. Has most of the stuff you need for lifting. Shame they haven't put any mirrors in front of the squat racks despite me asking a fair few times around 12 months ago, you just have to stare at a wall and imagine how your form looks

Negative experience: Awful customer service. Allowed me to join when the gym was closed down, not once did the website tell me this so I only found out when I had walked to the gym! Disgusting, won’t be renewing another month, waste of money!

Negative experience: [UPDATE] I wrote the following review 6 months ago and they've done nothing to improve. The following still holds true: This company allows people to fraudulently use email addresses that belong to other people and does not honor the following: 1. Requests to unsubscribe from their newsletter. 2. Requests to report the member using a fraudulent address. 3. Requests to not contact the recipient again regarding surveys and reviews. 4. Probably letting a robot handle all of their communications and not being attentive when someone raises these blatant privacy violations. I really have no idea if this is a good gym or not or if the staff are qualified or not because I live 5600km away across the pond in America. If you decide to use this gym, don't give them your email address because their marketing and IT staff or software is quite terrible. Zero stars if it was possible.

Positive experience: Love this gym, the atmosphere, staff and friendly members. I have to say box fit was almost impossible this morning, far too many in the room and couldn’t complete the exercises properly due to lack of space. When steps and weights are involved, it’s impossible with these class numbers. Please review this, it really lets the gym down and I’m sure health and safety is an issue with these numbers. Would be a 5* review if it wasn’t for this.

Positive experience: Whilst there is a good quantity of equipment, the cardio machines are getting quite old now and breaking down quite frequently. It is not unusual for 2 or 3 items marked out of order at any given time. Also, the diligence by users for cleaning kit after use has just about gone. This is not helped by a less than diligent approach to replacing consumables. Shame. I still use it though.
Negative experience: Things started off pretty well when they reopened but there's no governance over social distancing or people from different households using stations together. I walked in today to see 4 lads using one squat rack.
Negative experience: Outstanding gym for training your pelvic muscles and bladder control as the single bathroom doubles as the only change room. Pro tip, use the bathroom at home before coming. Also the wifi doesn't seem to work, staff have no explanation, maybe ita just me. Otherwise the facilities are pretty average, I mean, it's a gym just lacking in a few amenities. The staff on the other hand are disgraceful, rude and pushy.

Positive experience: Posting on behalf of my wife, great PT's here but she posted a review and it would appear that they are sexist and only post reviews by blokes. They said its becuase "said" great PT's were named in review but others were allowed through, so it also looks like they are bias against certain PT's and dont want to promote others that were mentioned in her review. Why have a review process when it is not fair and honest for all, especially in these current times. Needless to say there is now a chort of female gym members looking to cancel their membership & join other gyms in the area because of this sub-standard approach! Ladies beware!
Positive experience: Not the biggest of gyms for a puregym but new equipments and lots of variety. It can get claustrophobic when busy but it's a good atmosphere

Negative experience: Overcharged me nearly double my monthly membership and when I contacted them by e-mail received no response despite chasing. Had a search of the website and no contact number available. London Vauxhall gym was filthy pre Covid - haven't dared to return.

Negative experience: Why is it that pure gym Bromsgrove is open 8am-8pm currently, yet pure gym redditch is open 6am-10pm. I don’t see how it can take 12 hours to do a deep clean

Positive experience: Solid, staff are working hard to keep everything clean and safe. Decent range if equipment available, no quite Worcester but enough for a solid workout
Positive experience: Great gym but just a little small, should knock it through to the unit next door that's free!
Positive experience: Basic pure gym . Very clean and staff always around if you need help . Also pretty cheap and lots of parking . Free parking for 2 hours on site. 3 hours if you enter your registration on the screen as you walk into the gym.

Positive experience: Great gym, very busy though. If you dont like the hussle and bussell then this isnt the gym for you, unless you go at 3am 4am. Even 5am is busy.

Positive experience: Not as spacious as other variants, decent equipment and price for what's on offer. Can be difficult to complete your workout at times sadly due to congestion, but the app helps you to plan suitable attendance times. 24 hour access is useful.

Positive experience: All gyms are good and I use a lot of different locations. Never had issues with any staff. Some members I have seen fighting in Redditch gym which makes the wife uneasy but doesn't effect me. I see groups of lads as the problem and can be rude over equipment as ego's kick in. Reasonably clean and tidy but I find when machine are broke it's a long time before they are fixed. Price is average and corporation is average. The same goes for most locations.

Positive experience: Affordable with new equipment and free parking. Loads of free classes each week and 24/7 access. What can I say? It's great. However, I'd rather be in the pub but if I must exercise it's a nice gym. I'm a fair weather runner so i mainly just run and use cardio equipment. There are loads of free weights and personal trainers available. Far better than my last gym experience.

Positive experience: ➕Not expensive ➕24 hours open ➕Unlimited sessions to use ➕Free classes ➕Clean and tidy ➕New equipments ➕Not crowded ➕Near to grocery's shopping centers ➕3 hours free parking ➕The gym has an app which you can see how many members are in there at the time ➕Air conditioning ➕Entering to gym with a code so you could track your sessions ➕Sport water machine (Not free) ➕You can check busy times on the app ➕Interior design is ok ➕Enough natural lighting ➖Just one space for toilet, shower and changing room and you have to wait ➖No WiFi ➖No pool or other facilities ➖No receptionist ➖Sometimes there is a table at the entrance (selling stuff and so on) which is not suitable for that place ➖Sport water doesn't taste that good

Negative experience: Very disappointed that pure gym charge £4 for yoga and now Zumba!! The only classes I am interested in doing ! Plus they have very hardly any classes on after 6pm! Not very impressed with this gym
Hi Jayne, thanks for your message, we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. I’m sorry to hear this may affect your enjoyment of the gym. We offer our members over 50 free classes per week, however, a couple of these are organised and run by external instructors and therefore there is an additional charge to be able to provide the service. The classes with a surcharge are usually Yoga, Zumba and Pilates - but all other classes are included for free! Timetables are always determined by staff availability and member demand, but this is liable to change so if you have any specific suggestions for classes/times I would advise approaching the gym manager or leaving a note in the feedback box in the gym. This is regularly reviewed. In the meantime, I really do hope this does not put you off from attending the gym, and we sincerely wish you the best in your future fitness goals. Thanks, PureGym
