Fantastic experience: Ok

Positive experience: The gym is not cheap, they probably can afford a good maintenance, however many machines have been out of order for many months, like the leg press machine, which has a permanent "out of order" sign, among many others. They "repair" the broken foam of the machines with blue tape, which sometimes falls apart, rather than replacing it, so many machines have this tape in many places. There is space for many more machines, and it would still not look crowded, but it seems like they aren't interested in investing in more equipment. It only gets slightly busier after 5.30pm, which makes the work out enjoyable. Many stations with stuff to wipe down the equipment, although not many people use them. The gym looks quite clean. To be worth the money they should reduce significantly the fee as per the issues already mentioned. I have sent feedback twice about the machines out of order, and one complaint. They responded the first time, 2 months ago, saying they were going to do everything they could to fix them, but clearly that wasn't true. It's a shame, it's really big and in a great location.

Positive experience: Zoe's spinning class on a Monday morning is the best 5*. She works us hard, makes us laugh, motivates, explains, gives good banter and every weekly class is different.

Negative experience: We went to use the courts, were told on entry there is an antiques fair, were then met with shocking customer service from the staff who were unsympathetically rude and completely uninformative. We were then accused of using studios (that were locked mind you) after we asked if there was another room to play badminton in. You have lost yourselves three customers, please sort your staff out for the future. Appalling. Thank you.

Positive experience: Very friendly and helpful staff

Negative experience: Paid for an hour at the inflatazone, staff are sitting around bored and unenthusiastic. They are all on their phones including on the equipment when they were being paid to supervise the children. God forbid you get your phone out to snap a picture of your child, they come down on you like a ton of bricks! I assume it’s nothing to do with child safety, just so you can’t post a photo of how dirty and run down the centre is. They wouldn’t let the kids on until 4.05 and got them all of at 4.55 so not the hour that you pay for! No photos for this review obviously. My advise, park next door is free, better, and you can take photos of your happy children making memories to your heart’s content.

Positive experience: Very good facilities. Good athletics track. Plenty of free parking. Cafe area selling Costa coffee and plenty of seating available.

Negative experience: If you're hosting a large judo competition, perhaps lay on enough seating for spectators? Very poor!

Fantastic experience: Attended a few times now for badminton and the inflatable which my niece and nephew absolutely loved! A lady on the front desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond (Sorry we didn’t catch your name). Will deffo be returning!

Negative experience: It is absolutely a nightmare if you are a tourist to book the place. The system is not user friendly. We went to personally to the cassa to try to buy a ticket it was not allowed. The we filled all the forms and on that moment the seccion is fully booked. Absolute disaster if youvare with kids and you travelled 40 min . You know we are not living in the stone ages anymore. I am very very disappointed.

Positive experience: The pool is ok but pretty basic tho not really much to do football seems popular on the outside fake grass but don't play football but always people there.

Fantastic experience: It's such an amazing place. You can get your mind purified with the beauty of the surroundings. Great for both kids and adults.

Negative experience: No one picks up the phone for membership related issues. 3521 continually goes to voicemail.

Positive experience: Expensive, my bother paid over 30 to rent a squash court, 2 rackets and a buy a squash ball... didn't see much else but looks like it cares for everything but hefty London prices for an average place

Positive experience: Ideal place for kids to interact and where they can learn to swim. Excellent customer service

Positive experience: Had to stop my gym membership. The machines were frequently out of order for weeks at a time, and they were old and outdated too. The parking price was suddenly introduced. The water fountain was broken for a while. The place was dirty. The staff seemed to be getting grouchier. They closed the so called ‘spa’. It just became an all round depressing experience for nearly £50 a month. Guess that’s what happens when a council goes bust.

Negative experience: Rude arrogantly swimming teachers especially the women who takes stage 2 on a Monday extremely arrogant and disrespectful

Positive experience: Place is very convenient, close to town centre, has good facilities. But toilets are so dirty that you don’t want to enter them !!! Squash courts had not been well designed. You can loose squash balls easily as they going into vent and you need to buy another one and another one. Maybe somebody can think about putting a net shield to protect this from happening in the future.

Fantastic experience: Visited “Grandma’s Attic” Antique & Collectors Fairs being held at Woking Leisure Centre. The perfect venue for such an event, plenty of parking - free on Sunday & Bank Holiday, nice reception are with a coffee shop. The fair was held in normally would be a sports area with plenty of room and lots of stalls, nice people and a beautiful selection of interesting items.

Positive experience: I mostly use the gym and they lost a star because if a machine breaks (cable machines I’m looking at you) it takes ages to get it repaired but there is enough to do without those machines. The gym is kept clean, the equipment is in good condition and you have a great selection of free weights. The gym may not have new equipment like David Lloyds but honestly, it’s got more to offer if you like to lift weights.

Negative experience: Not worth upsetting your kids avoid i booked on phone as online booking wouldnt work to be turned away for not paying again as apparently i wasnt on the list what a joke had to go and get proof to then go back get refund rude and arrogant staff this was also a sen session so u can imagine the pain it caused my 2 children never will we be back absolutely disgusting least see if the manage does call me as requested over answer aswell as in

Fantastic experience: Good place been loads of times. Soft play is decent, kids swimming is okay a bit basic but has two big slides which are good.

Positive experience: a great swimming pool (the lesiure lagoon) for family swims, a couple flumes a wave machine and a rapids, outside is a big and fun park, i remember playing there as a kid, some of my happier memorys

Negative experience: It was my first time going to the softplay. The dirt was another level. The hair hanging from the soft play to the dirty floors which havent been mopped probably. I was hoping to have my daughter birthday here in the summer but I definitely wont be visiting again.

Positive experience: We went for coffee 6 of us. Coffee good and 1st class company.

Positive experience: Lots of activities to do and looks up to date at reception but is dated once you are in. Went to the soft play and kids loved it but again dated and could do with a clean. Now the car parking has changed and only get 2 hours free if doesn't give you enough time for a kids party so be careful. Good old Woking council grabbing money to pay for the wasted project

Positive experience: Plenty of parking which is very the most difficult thing in Woking. Good vibes overall. Not new machines but staff are always helpful. Easy and private space Mixed nationalities

Fantastic experience: Went to the soft play with my 7 month old, a friend and her toddler. There was no charge for my non walker which I appreciated because he was too little for most of it but there were still enough things to keep him entertained. The baby changing facilities were generous and clean. The lift was out of service but the staff were very helpful carrying pushchairs up and down stairs for us. The cafe was clean and well stocked, and all the staff were very friendly. Best of all there is a great playground just outside! We will definitely be back as the kids loved it!

Negative experience: Unbelievable 10 years the gym machine and not many as before Def not worth £52 a month

Fantastic experience: We travel down from Surbiton via train, as it's the only leisure centre we have locally as ours was knocked down in Kingston. It offers various facilities and activities, we take advantage of the Leisure Lagoon and the Soft Play area on our visits.

Positive experience: Softplay is cheap and cheerful. Something to do when the kids finish school. Pricing isn't too bad. The place could be a bit cleaner and more upbeat, for example, music or something in the softplay area as it's SO quiet sometimes, especially if it isn't busy.

Negative experience: Good facility for Sports and Swimming. The staff (including reception) at the Pool requires some improvements!! (e.g. customer facing, safeguarding)

Positive experience: Inflatable party was really good fun! Adults and kids alike seemed to have a great time.

Fantastic experience: Great pool and offers fab swim lessons for kids…both my kids have excelled in swimming due to their facilities. Also they’ve got a fab playground and soft play indoors for little ones. WLC does offer antique shows and markets at times—lots to offer. Great place to have a quick lunch with kids at the cafe.

Fantastic experience: Woking Leisure Centre is a fantastic place to get fit and have fun. The centre has a wide range of facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, fitness studios, and a sauna. There are also a variety of classes available, from swimming to yoga to zumba. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would highly recommend Woking Leisure Centre to anyone looking for a place to get fit and have fun.

Positive experience: Facilities are okay but in dire need of replacement a nice remodelling would do this centre nicely.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with their service. I have been a member for many years using sauna and gym. 3 weeks ago I asked to use the sauna and i was told that it is under maintenance. The following week the same. Last Saturday I asked to use the sauna again and to my surprise I was told that due to high electricity bills, the sauna will remain closed as they cannot afford to run it! Considering that the Surrey council is one of the most expensive and the high number of members they have, this should not be allowed especially during winter period when it is most needed for people who have issues with their bones. I asked for a discount on my membership as i m paying full price, but this was not allowed either! Very bad management in total!

Fantastic experience: Children love the inflatzone we done the sen session which was great not as busy as other slots

Negative experience: I go here for pole classes in the studio with a separate company (who are excellent). The room we use in the leisure centre is frequently left in a horrible state, especially after children's parties. There are crumbs and who knows what else all over the floor which we have to then lie on for exercises. The floor should be mopped and disinfected after these events, no one likes trying to exercise covered in babybell.

Positive experience: Nice cup of tea in cafe good morning out

Negative experience: Low quality equipment in the gym. I use to pay half the price in my old gym and they had state of the art equipment. The monthly membership cost is definitely not worth what you get in return in the gym. A lot of standard machines aren’t even available in this gym.

Positive experience: Good place to loose weight or just keep yourself engaged with numerous activites. Very supportive staff and always filled with people.

Negative experience: went to the pool queued for 25 mins when the whole time they knew capacity was full. Only found out once we asked ourselves staff were sat there acting clueless

Negative experience: Have enjoyed this gym, friendly and helpful. However today I had my locker broken into and all contents stolen, only to find there is NO CCTV in that area. Thankfully staff very helpful and they found my bag in gents toilets minus my bank cards. Management need to install CCTV there it's people's property being stolen .

Fantastic experience: Can't fault it. The staff are nice and will fill up your water bottle since there's no water fountain. I guess no water fountain it a bit of a fault for a leisure centre...

Negative experience: Good gym and great trainers. But the management is stingy and is trying to save money by not air conditioning the gym. The result is a hot and smelly gym.

Negative experience: Good facilities but rude and very unhelpful staff who didn't want to help me find out where I could collect my son from the birthday party, because apparently 'the party was not booked through them'! Don't think I'd want to come back or recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We just held a 6 year old party at the soft play. The staff were all superstars and made the whole thing so easy. The softplay itself is really good and easily accommodated the ~40 children.

Fantastic experience: The over 50s walking basketball session is fun

Negative experience: No one picks up the phones so you can't book anything! Called over 30 times on all four numbers and was ignored by staff. I would like to use the facilities as they are quite nice and they have a good range of activities but you can't book anything and the website is awful to use.

Negative experience: Pool was good fun but the cafe was a terrible experience we went in and I ordered a hot dog had to ask if they had toppings the older staff member Karim was quite rude to my friends who had been looking at the menu for a literally a second when the younger staff member came out he was obviously embarrassed of the other staff member as he said quite abruptly that he was waiting for my friends to order before starting to cook after about a minute he then turned to them and asked if the had decided yet they said no and he said “can u hurry up I want to close the kitchen” this was at 5:40 following this he left to go to the kitchen my friends made there order and we sat down. After about 10 minutes the food came out was pretty good all in all just a shame they staff was rude and unwelcoming… I do want to say praise for Dylan as he was happy to serve and kept a smile on the whole time super polite and attentive.

Negative experience: Great play area - sadly the second time I have come and it’s been dirty! I asked if we may take snacks in and the lady said yeah sure just don’t mess! - well the mess we came in to was shocking!! Old food on the floors and litter. She had said no one was in so they can’t even say it was busy as an excuse. So sad!

Negative experience: Didn't ho to leisure centre, was picking friend kid up from school. You can't get near to school gates coz of really really bad traffic, so have to wait in leisure centre carpark.

Positive experience: Booked our daughter's 5th birthday party in the softplay area. Huge 3 or 4 level soft play area to which we had exclusive access, 30 kids running around and that could have easily doubled in terms of capacity. They were well contained and had an absolute blast. Food area a bit of a hike and was shared, but nothing wrong with that, the room was split into sections. Lost a couple of parents for a bit between the rooms. Would have liked a staff member in the softplay with the kids in case of an incident, but there wasn't one and staff were nearby. All in all very happy.

Fantastic experience: perfect venue for a fair, all facilities excellent

Positive experience: Great soft play and outdoor play area for kids. Would be even better if there were a staff member present to oversee the soft play and refreshments available on the same floor.

Positive experience: Good lane swimming pool, not too crowded, showers could be better, we were queuing for them but that could have been the busy time I tried used them.

Positive experience: Great Leisure.centre. Good selection of activities/groups and lessons. Staff are friendly and the cafe is very reasonable. Some of the areas could do with a refurb but at half the cost of a private club it's tatty corner here or there is well worth overlooking.
