Negative experience: They close it on normal working days like today which is really odd! Not helpful

Fantastic experience: Good place for badminton. Onsite parking available. Friendly helpful staff. Nice, clean environment.

Positive experience: First time user. Outwardly modern, with great, helpful & friendly staff, with time for you. Gym looks great, with well maintained machines. Then come the negatives (for me). Name. Car registration. Pay (reasonable for the quality of the facility - over £5 for a swim). Limitations are (if I remember correctly) 55 mins per swim, also depends on number of people in the pool, you might not get in. Changing rooms work on a wrist tag (RFID) for your locker (no coins required), but the first two lockers were u/s. Pre swim showers only (according to the wall sign), no post swim showers. Changing room unisex (fine) illogically laid out, went round the houses a couple of times to get to the pool. Good experience in the lane swimming session, attentative lifeguards (nice change). A decent experience, but it felt like it would be easier to get into a prison (I prefer less intrusive ways to get into a leisure centre). Looking for a better pool, as Stretford is an unsafe dump (but we're ripping up roads, so that's where our money has gone!). Can't post images of the pool, as it's "Not Allowed!"

Fantastic experience: Extremely clean and modern equipment. Lots of variety with regard to the classes on offer and suitable for all abilities. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The cafe offers a wide range of snacks and light bites with an excellent quality and friendly staff.

Negative experience: The facilities are good but the car parking is operated by vultures. Be sure to register your car registration inside otherwise it's a £60 fine. I made the mistake of not registering because I was too busy managing my twins. Just park outside the car park that way you can avoid the vultures.

Negative experience: Went today (21st June) at 8pm for lane swim and immediately got eye infection after swim. I am quite sure because I can feel the itchiness of my left eye right after I got out of the venue. Besides, a drop of pool water accidentally went into my left goggle when I was doing one of the laps(got rid of it when I stopped at the edge of pool, it was even just 10 second contact), and the infection started with that eye. The water was way to dirty in the evening, I can see with bare eyes it being a bit blurry. As mentioned you can see how dirty the water is that it can infect my eyes with very short period of contact and affects immediately. It is very scary, suggest to stay away.

Negative experience: Seriously guys the music was so loud today I’m a little worried for my hearing.

Negative experience: Seems like a well equipped establishment. I went here on an after work 'training session' this week. The climbing wall was good. Unfortunately, for a large portion of our time here we were shoved into a small room by a staff member who made it clear she had no intention of working with us and left to our own devices with an aerobics video playing in the background. Nothing was said to us, so we waited for her to tell us something, or start an activity, which didn't happen. Seems a shame as I was considering joining this centre but would rather go somewhere more attentive to visitors. And, more to the point, my workplace would have paid for this centre to put on our work training event and have been well and truly ripped off. On the plus side, this experience has taught me to join another leisure centre and not this one.

Negative experience: worst web site i have ever used, if you want to book a swimming slot you may have to log in on numerous occasions.

Positive experience: Took my grandson swimming, the small pool is not warm enough for babies, he loved the water but we had to get out early as he was so cold.

Negative experience: I never seem to be able to book a slot for a junior pass as every time i go to book it its all booked up, i wanted to go to the gym hoping it will give me a healthier mindset and to just get out and do something but i've been trying to go for weeks and i haven't been able to go

Fantastic experience: Always clean and staffed by friendly people. The gym is missing one or two bits of equipment I'd like to see but it's going to be more than adequate for most people. Glad to see the cafe is open again too!

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, puts Altrincham to shame. BUT BEWARE the parking system is very unclear. Lots of signage saying only for patrons (that's fair) but doesn't say if you don't add your registration at reception you get a £100 fine in the post!! I took my child to the sensory room and cost me £5 plus the parking fine. Really immoral.

Fantastic experience: The swimming facilities are amazing which the exception of the door system when entering the changing rooms, which was a struggle when with a wheel chair user as it's quite narrow and both doors open into the corridor. The accessible changing room is good and there is a changing spaces room available bit it wasn't radar keyed and you would have to ask a staff member.

Fantastic experience: Really impressed with the clip and climb at Move Urmston. Booked online and was easy to see what availability there was (happy to see sessions running in the early evenings as well as weekends). Greeted by the staff at reception, and after a safety video got to spend the next hour having at go at the different courses. Good range of routes - the lightening strike was great fun and the balls incredibly challenging. The instructors were helpful, friendly and attentive (didn't have to wait long to change route unlike in some bigger places). One satisfied 10yo.

Positive experience: Really good place for swimming lessons- only negative is changing room door a bit of a worry when it opens onto children coming in.

Positive experience: Nice to go for a quick swim, it’s good to see they’ve spent a bit of money on it, I’ve not been in since the refurbishment, hope it’s not a fur coat with no knickers. I used to go to the original Urmston baths always freezing even summer they used to keep the changing room floor covered in pubic hair to keep your feet warm.

Positive experience: I am using this for the swimming pool and while this isn't as large as the one I visit at weekends, it is reasonably sized though if you're trying for 'proper' swimming turns, I'd make sure you're happy with the depth at the shallow end of the pool before you commit to the turn. The changing area was clean despite the wet weather outside though if wear glasses make a note of the directions before you take them off!

Fantastic experience: Great family sports centre with a large pool and a shallow area for small children and toddlers. The gym here is fantastic; with a good range of equipment and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a sports hall as well and classes are also held here.

Negative experience: Suppose to be referred change the design job stopped looks like a abandoned building site enrol your child on a swimming coarse you have to do it on line I struggled then gave up ask the staff to do it they obliged but it took two nearly 25 minutes of asking each other there must be a easier way like fill a simple form and sign

Positive experience: We enjoy the baby splash session here instead Wednesday. I bring my 2 children and meet my mum here who then stays for aqua aerobics. The centre is being refurbished so looking forward to visiting when finished. The pool was a bit cooler than usual last time I visited which isn't great for young ones

Negative experience: me and my girlfriend came here to go swimming, as we have done many times before. we decided, as a couple, to hug, when we were rudely interrupted by a lifeguard to tell us we weren't allowed 'closeness' in the pool... a hug is surely not breaking any codes of sexual misconduct surely? it's ridiculous.
