Fantastic experience: Loving training at the gym the staff are welcoming. I’d like to take the time and talk about PT Deep he’s is a great PT. The sessions he’s created for me has given me confidence & my fitness is improving with every session. Will be recommending him & the gym to friends & family.

Fantastic experience: I came to PureGym at Beckton with an aim to get better shape and have better stamina in workouts. It is not always easy to achieve this without consulting and being guided by a professional. This is when I met DEEP KUMAR BHANDARI. I was blessed and motivated all through to reach my goal I had in mind. Deep is very talented and motivated and inspired to provide the best fitness to meet up to reach with your goal till the end. I am pleased I met him and all he taught me and put me through the hard work resulted in the best physic of me. Thank you very much Deep.

Fantastic experience: I started to go to the gym after I had a number of health issues which made me want to take my health & fitness more seriously. As I had never been to the gym before, I wasn't sure on how to use the equipment or even what exercises I could do given my health problems. I decided to get personal training sessions with Dimple Vadher. I would highly recommend Dimple for personal training as I've had such a great experience so far. Dimple had a conversation with me about what my goals were and what health issues I had before crafting a program for me. She explains correct form for all the different exercises and is highly observant when you do them so that she can help you correct any mistakes you may be making. I've only had a couple of sessions so far and I'm already seeing the benefits of our training and am highly motivated to continue.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Deep Bhandari from last 6 months he his very supportive i hace lose my 8 kg weight plus 4 inch of my belly fat.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with my personal trainer, Deep, for over 4-5 years, starting back in February 2020. At that time, I was unhappy with my body and desperately needed a transformation. Deep not only guided me in exercising properly but also taught me the importance of eating well and fueling my body the right way. During these years, I became more motivated and eventually achieved the level of fitness I had always dreamed of. One day, I asked Deep if he thought I could compete in a men’s physique competition, knowing he had experience in the field himself. His response was honest and encouraging—he believed I could, but he didn’t sugarcoat the challenges ahead. He explained that such a journey would require complete dedication to working out, eating an exceptionally clean diet, staying hydrated, and ensuring quality sleep. This year, in February 2024, I decided to take on this challenge. Under Deep’s guidance, I began the bulking phase, following a diet plan he provided. Until June, I worked on building muscle, and then I transitioned into the shredding phase, where the diet became even stricter, focusing on clean and lean foods. This phase was by far the most demanding experience of my life. I trained six days a week, often twice a day, combining cardio, weight training, and my sessions with Deep. Throughout this process, Deep was an incredibly motivating coach. His dedication and unique approach to preparing me for my first men’s physique competition were exceptional. He monitored my progress closely, taught me the art of posing, and showed me how to master stomach vacuums. He was always there to support me, especially during moments of doubt when my mood shifted, and I felt like giving up. Deep always took the time to have open conversations, reminding me that while this journey was tough, it was far from impossible. On competition day, Deep came to support me in person, which meant the world to me. The highlight of my journey was stepping on that stage and proving to myself that I could do it. All the preparation, hard work, and dedication had paid off, and I was overjoyed to have Deep by my side, witnessing this milestone. To my absolute delight, I placed 2nd in the competition, a moment that made me the happiest person in the world. This achievement was a testament to the incredible preparation and guidance I received from Deep. Much of my training took place at PureGym, a fantastic facility that offers a large, well-equipped space for a very reasonable value. The gym has an impressive variety of machines and equipment, making it perfect for any fitness goal. The environment is friendly, with members happy to share machines and support one another. The staff at PureGym are equally amazing—always professional, approachable, and dedicated to helping their members achieve their goals. The positive atmosphere of the gym contributed greatly to my success. Thanks to Deep’s expertise and the support of the PureGym community, I not only achieved my goal but also gained the knowledge and confidence to carry on with my fitness journey independently. Deep is not just an exceptional personal trainer but also a great mentor and friend. For anyone considering training with Deep, I cannot recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: I have been training at Pure Gym for one year and 7 months. I want to say a big thank you to Deep Kumar, with whose help I managed to keep the weight off. I lost 23kg during that time. Deep Kumar is a very good trainer who will not let you give up, and always supports you in difficult moments. I am very happy that I have such a good trainer. I recommend Deep Kumar 100% as a good trainer and someone who understands his job and how to work with people.

Positive experience: Shower water Luke warm at best for months now. Really great if water heat could be increased. Change rooms and lockers not regularly cleaned from previous days. Early mornings change rooms on occasions not cleaned. Hope review helps to bring about improvements. Great gym otherwise. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I first joined this gym a couple of yrs ago. They have great classes and facilities, however with work and commute it was not possible. I was a novice to the health and fitness industry, although I was training my diet was not on point and I resulted in loosing weight, which was far from my intentions, this is when I seeked help from Deep and took PT sessions in order to gain weight with appropriate diet and fitness plan created by him. Deep is a fantastic PT!!! I have and still am learning alot. I have had many physical challenges whereby he has adapted sessions to overcome by weaknesses which were the route cause of chronic back pain etc. I couldn't recommend a better PT, not only is he here to better me physically but mentally too. I couldn't imagine life without the gym now, it is a part of who I am. We all have challenges and have suffered some form of mental health abuse in the past and know that; Beckton pure gym has a great community, staff and members whom are friendly and here to help. Fantastic experience: I had joined this gym back in May 2024, I was able to turn my life upside down since i joined, All the credits goes to my brother Deepak Bhandari Aka (Deep) (PT) He helped me thorough out my fat loss journey, i was able to loose 17 kgs in just 3 months and making further progress with his diet and training plains, he’s always so cooperative n helpful n cheerful and always motivates me to push past my limits. I am still training with him and all the staff in this gym is helpful n nice towards every newbee. So far i have gone to 3-4 pure gyms around england, this gym is quite spacious n equipped with bess equipments n staff as compare to others. Do join it.

Fantastic experience: I have been member of this gym since it opened and I would say I have enjoyed training there, I have been trained by PT and have seen amazing and he has also helped with nutrition and some amazing sessions. I have been training with her for about 6 months and have grown from being unathletic and nervous about working out to building strength, endurance and confidence. Fantastic experience: Pure gym Beckton is a vibrant and friendly environment to train in and the classes are fabulous, especially those run by Dimples. She is so welcoming to newcomers and makes the atmosphere comfortable for people of all levels. As a middle aged woman finding a gym again after being inactive for years, I could not have found a better place than pure gym Beckton and Dimples as a personal trainer. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Recently the gym seems to have gone down quite a lot, I'm not sure if there has been some sort of change in management but the gym really has been going down... something is always broken, went to a spin class had to change bikes twice because it was broken and no signs or indications so basically it was trial and error. Also, not the cleanest of gyms either. Hopefully management can rectify. However, something positive is PT DIMPLE! the only thing that keeps me coming back is the best trainer Dimple! She is amazing, her classes and her energy is the best! She is always so helpful and seems to go above and beyond her job, hopefully she gets the recognition she deserves ✨ Also, Ray and Deep do great classes as well!

Fantastic experience: I highly highly recommend going to the following classes run by a PT - Dimples, Bootcamp, Abs Blast, Legs Bums and Tums, Body tone and Spin. She is also an amazing PT, encourages you to go that one bit more when you feel like you can't, she makes exercise fun but she also listens. She listens when you tell her your body is tired because you have not had enough sleep and she then adjusts the PT to whatever will be suitable. Every PT session, I come out more energised by the end! She is also professional and yes approachable and friendly! 5 stars more for Dimples as a PT and her classes.

Fantastic experience: Best BT in the world Dimples She’s definitely an asset to PureGym. I would not of come here if it wouldn’t be for her always motivating me always a smiley face whenever you enter the building a real asset to the establishment.

Positive experience: I love the atmosphere, gym members are friendly and supportive. The issue is with cleanliness. Not often hoovering areas. Also antibacterial sprays is missing not even for days but for weeks for some reason this problem occured. This is public place, the hygiene is number one! Especially on this season when you can easily catch bacteria from unwell people. Also out of order equipment would be nice that would be fixed quicker. This gym got 2 new boot machines. Disappointing that you have to ask staff a belt to use it. So basically once gym unstaffed you can’t use the machine. Anyone who’s coming to train on a late time they can’t use it, including me. What is the point to have an equipment if you can’t use it?

Fantastic experience: Nice clean gym with easy to and from travel route and massive parking lot

Positive experience: Large car park with plenty of spaces if you park a little further away. Large building, a few retail shops and food options around if you need to pick up anything pre or post workout.

Negative experience: I have left a review previously which was a lot more generous and I flagged things such as that there are no clocks at the studio or upstairs and that the floors are very dirty. None of this has been addressed, hence my downgraded review. I see staff cleaning all the time, but it seems like they are focusing on moving equipment and dusting. For example the studio floor is disgusting, the water fountain has mould around it and the whole area is dirty. The photos I have taken are taken between 7-8am.

Positive experience: Good gym but a lot of things are broken especially the pod to get in and out so there’s only one which can be a pain if you leave after a class for example

Negative experience: I have been coming to this gym for over a year now and initially it was a great place to workout. However, in the last few months, I have witnessed the rapid decline of a once, well-run gym. The pod to enter the gym has been broken for around two weeks not with no sign of being repaired. It causes significant delays with long queues, especially at peak hours. The quad extension machine is currently broken and it seems as if the management does not even know, nor do they seem to care. The disabled toilets have been out of order for over a week, again with no communication or sign of being repaired. The toilets are dirty a lot of the time, sometimes even being completed flooded with urine. The treadmills are broken for days without repair and even the ones that do work, seem to be inconsistent in their speed, potentially causing injury. These are just some of the many things that are below par. So while the prices for puregym keep rising without an end, it seems as if they are hell-bent on keep the costs to a minimum at the detriment of the members’ safety and satisfaction - at least puregym gallions reach anyway. If you are someone who values their time, safety or gym experience, please stay far away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Open 24/7. If you’re new to the gym world, shy and not confident, you can just join any of the classes where you work with PT’s in groups(as a class). You can shower after too and look for Dimples she’s by far the best PT in the gym

Negative experience: Staff are aggressive and violent, I thought I was in a safe place protected by PureGym staff but no that is not the case. PureGym staff are the ones that will charge up to you and square up to your face wanting to fight you. Avoid this gym at all costs as you won’t be protected by their staff nor their complaints procedure. If you get into their bad books they will not think twice before they attack you or threaten you with violence. This is exactly what happened to me on Tuesday 30/04/24 which is 3 days ago and since then management team say they are still investigating. I emailed management team, Ray Marshall today asking for an update, I got one liner back saying they are looking into it. Due to uncertainty of what will happen, I have to question PureGym if I am safe to train over the weekend but I have been ignored. It’s unbelievable how such a big company like PureGym deals with serious complaints of this nature and shows it’s customers no empathy or lack of customer care and there seems to be no urgency in finding a solution. Not happy customer at all, be safe and avoid their staff as you don’t know how they will react.

Negative experience: VERY busy and the smell was genuinely AWFUL! The gym had bad ventilation the only positive was loads of parking but we won't be back.

Fantastic experience: Quite a good gym and affordable too! If you are new to the gym and need support ask for “Elliott” he is friendly and very helpful. He will listen to what your goals are and show you around the gym and how to use the different equipment so you feel comfortable to use it alone. Really appreciated him taking the time to do this.

Negative experience: Well well, the microphone noise from the class instructor.. i can hear it from Stratford. No way you can enjoy your workout, even with the max volume in earphones no chance . Do something, guys, energetic atmosphere but, its like the loudest concert.

Negative experience: I joined this gym i am not happy. No air ventilation so it doesn’t get rid of germs in the air. No hand sanitizers to clean hands. Always sweat on machines people should get tissue and spray from the gym and clean it after they use. Equipment always all over the place. Toilets are disgusting. Very upset and always other people in there saying the same thing what I said.

Positive experience: I've only given this gym 3 stars because of the 24-hour convenience. My only gripe is that other gym users don't put back their weights after they've used them. It's like a trip hazard and an accident to happen. The toilet/changing room (male) is now clean, unlike before. There's always room for improvements in the future.

Negative experience: Staff are rude and extremely unhelpful. Had an instance where a staff member called Tasleem was using a machine with her client but they were literally just having a chat and hogging the machine. I had used 2 different machines in that time with my gym partner and when I went to ask Tasleem how many sets she and her client had she was about to say 1 then suddenly said 4 eventhough they had been on the machine for ages. (its like she just said that so we would go away) When I went to speak to another staff member about it, he literally did nothing and Tasleem began to have an attitude which caused me to say that we are paying customers. When I asked for her name she said it with so much attitude and non-chalantness its as if she knew nothing would be done about her behaviour. Staff need a serious attitude check as people like Tasleem tarnish the Puregym brands name .

Negative experience: Honestly one of the worst gym ever. This gym is super packed. You have to wait in line just to use some of these machines. I wanted to join a gym that’s 24/7 but it’s the evening that’s the worst. At 9pm there over 100 people at the gym. They put loud and horrible music I think they want you to come deaf. I only went three times but cancelled my membership today I have no regrets.

Positive experience: Nice location. Leg machines are scattered all over the place. Music from classes are way too loud, no need for the whole gym too listen on what is happening in the class exercises.

Negative experience: This gym smells very bad, i get that is out of your control since its peoples hygiene but damn i cant even work out with this nasty smell. Please provide ventilation or something to clear the humid smelly air. There is not many weight attachments either and all the good machines always have a long queue. I will be moving gyms this is the worst one ive ever been to. I also think the gym is way too small theres so many people everyday at every time. Its rarely ever quiet and it makes me feel lazy going to the gym,

Positive experience: The manager is friendly he helped me out with my form i appreciate it highly. The gym itself is quite small for the number of people coming, usually very busy and not much space / equipment that is available. Music is extremely loud, my headphones are on max volume and i can still hear the gyms music playing, please lower the volume i would very much appreciate this. In comparison to other pure gyms ive been to in the past, this one is missing a few machines which is very disappointing. There is also not enough weights, most of them are being used so please provide us with more weights, especially smaller ones like the 5kg, 1.5kg.

Negative experience: pure gym app is badly designed the app lags behind my subscription allows me to bring a friend, tried to do this on the app, didn't work even though I was trying with a staff member, email did not get sent to the friend , very frustrating app needs a complete overhaul tried to activate membership rewards to get offers listed as usual did not work instead the add on works where you have to pay £4.00 . puregym needs to review their app

Positive experience: Reason for only 3 stars, is the musis is TOO loud, i can hear it through my earpods! Also the bass /sound of music is terrible because is too echoed due to high ceiling, and one of the PT was quite aggressive questioning me why i put a 1.25kg plate into my rucksack, i told him i wanted to make my bodyweight heavier because i do calisthenic, i was a bit annoyed because he was under the assumption i was stealing it, SERIOUSLY, a 1 25kg plate, come on!! Overall love the space and layout of gyms! Derrick the PT is very good! I been watching him teaching his clients and i was quite impress!

Fantastic experience: Nice gym move the last year from a horrible PureGym in Southeast London. Nice Personal Trainers ,some new trainers arrived , equipment always works gym tidy and clean the atmosphere chilled no bad attitude from the gym members. Fantastic experience: The gym is clean and well-maintained, and the equipment is state-of-the-art. There is something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete.

Negative experience: water does not work well, it says every 20 minutes, but from the moment 1 hour passes and writes wait

Positive experience: Great place to go to the gym, free parking for up to 4hours. Great machines, quite clean I have met the cleaning crews doing their jobs very well, they are also very helpful and professional staff, I am yet to meet the other PureGym staff. Overall this place is amongst one of the best PureGym places I have visited. Update no still staff, my pin was not letting me back in when I went to get something outside the gym. Well the puregym has no customer service number to contact someone and no staff in the gym, imagine been outside of nowhere in leggings and crop top with all your clothes and belongings locked in the gym in the middle of the night that’s what has happened to me on the 25/04/23 and I am just sitting there trying to email the Puregym till my home died. This is not safe, well I still believe it is a good gym, but safety wise not a good place to be unless you are ready to brave the cold and walk half naked through one of the massive park Beckton has. Always have a backup plan, Just in case your phone battery!!

Positive experience: Great location, plenty of parking, 24hours, has everything you need regardless of your goals. However, parking is now limited to 3 hours at Gallions Reach and they will fine you if you go over

Fantastic experience: Great gym with lots of facilities

Negative experience: After nearly faultless three years I have now decided to leave for a few reasons Gym equipment now especially the cardio section has half the machines are out of order and dumbs and weights all over the place Secondly I go gym like 4-5 times a week and usually go early mornings between the hours of 4-6:30am. Parking is free for 4 hours and iv never had an issue whatever time I went. All of a sudden last week I got two pcns in the same week saying I parked for 1hr 29mins during the restricted time for this 24hr gym. I go on gallons reach parking website there no restrictions in place other than the 4 hour free parking rule for shoppers and customers who are using facilities here like the gym. PureGym has now put a tablet in place to register your vehicle if your attending the site before 5:30am. The trouble with this device is it's never in working order and it causing alot of agony dealing with these appeals and I'm expecting a few more. UKPC anpr technology is flawed and gallons reach as well as PureGym needs to fix this problem otherwise alot of members will be lost. This is unnecessary stress and I'm just appealing my current two pcns to prove that I am using the gym and the tablet in PureGym is not working Finally you have the barrier which constantly doesn't work or is stuck etc for people accessing gym at late or very early hours of the day This is so stressful

Fantastic experience: Started training here during the winter and definitely feel at home now. If anything breaks or needs servicing, the team are super quick to get it sorted, both of the managers are friendly and approachable too. Gym is kept super clean and it's great to have free parking too. It does get very busy in the evenings, but I can see they have tried to mitigate this by having the option of an "off-peak membership". 5 stars for the Beckton team!

Positive experience: Quite busy even in the early hours; expected for a cheaper gym though. But it's okay for the price and range of equipment. Just expect to end up working out of your routine and to wait for machines. The free weights section is a total mess too, gives me anxiety everytime I look at it. The weights are all over the gaff! Frustrating as hell too when you're traipsing around trying to find matching weights, or any weight come to think of it. Not much floor space either if there's a class going on and you can't use that room. Parking is a key plus and I like the drink you can get. All in all; you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Superb gym, 24 hrs access, it's so convenient. But no reception, everythings online
