Fantastic experience: As a videographer and photographer, I spend a lot of time in front of my PC. I had been searching for an affordable place to swim for ages, but it’s quite expensive in the UK. Then, I came across a recommendation on Facebook for this place, and I’m in love! It’s only £6.60 with £1.30 for parking. The facility is clean, the reception staff were incredibly helpful, and the lifeguards were great too. Thanks, guys! See you next Saturday

Positive experience: Nice pools and staff seem friendly. However, ladies wet changing rooms need some attention - very run down. Also I was flabbergasted to see that the cafe and soft play were closed on a weekday in the summer holidays. We went public swimming and wanted to get a fresh coffee afterwards but it was shut! Yes there are coffee machines but it's not the point. Seems like a waste for customers and the business. There were lots of parents with little ones in our public swim session who thought the same as us. I was also very shocked to pay to use the car park. I'd still visit on the odd occasion but it's certainly put me off becoming a member.

Negative experience: Shocking customer service - Gone down hill since covid - used this as an excuse to limit swimming times and not answer the phone.

Fantastic experience: Great place for children's clubs. You can view them comfortably whilst they do a range of activities. The soft play is also very good. Swimming lessons are small groups, so your child gets better attention. The complex has a bar and you can do trampoline lesson, plus much more.

Positive experience: Nice swim. First time here. Well organised. Didn't realise some swim lanes went clockwise & others anti-clockwise. Found out very quickly.

Negative experience: The gym is great, full of a real mix of people. However the class schedule doesn't have much in the evening, and the pool schedule is so sparse and usually booked out. It's a shame as they have the facilities, would be much better if it was more an open pool rather than a few scarce slots.

Positive experience: Good leisure center, staff are friendly and there are lots of activities to do. Really great place to sign the kids up for swimming lessons. If this place was an animal, it would be a happy dog that learns a new trick every few weeks and will always be there waiting at the door with their favourite toy when you get home from a day at the office.

Negative experience: What i dont understand is why no one ever answers the phone, all one gets is go on line!!! well not everyone can go on line so why is there no one to answer the phones have tried 3 phone numbers for this leisure centre and left message for a call back have been trying to contact them since 1pm today. Also why do they just have lane swimming not everyone wants to swim up and down up and down was at one time offered the small babies pool as it wasn't up and down.after paying for the car park to be told i could not get a refund as its up to bournemouth council.and can only get a swim up and down at 6pm this was at 11.30am. spoken to quite a few people who have said that is why they dont use the facilities anymore.

Positive experience: Does offer a nice place to swim although is it me or the water is a bit colder than usual. The lane swimming does get a tad annoying near the swimming pool though and I would go again

Fantastic experience: Facilities are excellent. Using the new Artificial pitches for football have made the matches much more competitive and all sides are really enjoying the new surface. The staff are brilliant and always on hand to assist with any questions or minor issues. Great place to enjoy a swim after activities as well.

Positive experience: We visited the pool while on holiday as the weather was bad. Online booking was easy and there's plenty of (paid) parking, plus the sessions are well-organized between different groups. The changing rooms are separate for male/female and the showers and toilets were clean and working, but the hair dryers had notes that they were out of service. The reason for only 3 stars is because of the lack of cleanliness in the pool itself. There are signs everywhere to shower/wash feet to keep the pool clean, but it was really dirty on the floor of the pool. The area around the pool was even worse, with the area around the seats being full of dirt and grit. It didn't look like the floors had been cleaned for months. The inside walls of the pool were covered in scum and hardwater marks and there was a dip between the large and small pools where the standing water looked green.

Negative experience: The customer service team can't seem to liaise with each other and 3 staff members misinformed me of what comes with my sons teen package I'm paying monthly for. Some staff members are very young and all lovely people but this leisyߧu Before this I had put my sons name down for swimming lessons, before covid arrived but heard nothing, I came In to the centre several times over a 2 yr period to enquire about his progress on the list but time after time hos name was no longer on there.

Negative experience: Can never get through on the phone. Had problems with direct debits and initially was blamed, then to discover was the gyms error in their system. Embarrassing having to come in each time to be told there is a problem.. when there wasn’t. Could never get through on the phone to sort it, only via email which took weeks. Admin never get back to you. Impossible to contact the venue properly and on facebook it even diverts you to their website again. The booking system is awful.. you have to book constantly when I just want to turn up to the gym. Thought they were making improvements, and freed up reception with their new systems to enter.. yet still cannot answer the phone. This is an ongoing issue, not just because they are busy. It’s a shame because I love the facilities here.

Negative experience: Really bad experience. Called up to see times for soft play, was told to book online. She wouldn’t give me an example of times. Went online, filled it all in to be told I’m too old to book? You have to create an account in your child’s name?! Pathetic. The soft play area IS FILTHY muddy, dirty, crumby and dusty and completely DISGUSTING. Never again.

Negative experience: Swimming times are pathetic. Even in term time they don't cater to the public demand, only care about members. I won't ever return.

Fantastic experience: Very refreshing to be able to swim and use the gym without feeling over crowded, I left my old gym/swimming facilities as they clearly just try to get everyone in the pool with no concerns for anyone else but ££, after visiting two rivers today I was delighted to see clean changing room, a pool that allows just lanes or family swim not a all in one gym so I decided to sign up there and then. Right now until the end of the year its just £60 for membership. You can't beat that price it includes swimming, gym when ever you want. If give. Ten out of ten if it let me.

Fantastic experience: We came here for the soft play. Parking was easy and pretty cheap (we now have a season pass and 3 hours is included in that, which is great!). Reception staff were lovely. Bathroom facilities were plentiful and I noticed that there were wheelchair accessibility aids (I do not use a wheelchair so cannot comment on their usability). The soft play is new and it shows, everything is clean and colourful. It is a great size for 0-5 year old children and would work great if you were hanging around with a little one while others were in a class. Price wise it's pretty good, £3.50 for 55mins, although I'm sure you wouldn't get chucked out immediately after your session. It is next to the café which offers a dinner deal after 4pm, which I am interested to try out. The centre is a lovely small size and as a result I signed up for the waiting lists for a bunch of kids activities they offer.

Negative experience: Need to accept cash, also vending machines should be CASH, how do you expect kids to use machines. CASH is legal tender .

Fantastic experience: What a brilliant place. I would like to give a special mention to the reception, who have always been amazingly friendly and welcoming every time I go in. A special thanks to Harriet, Marie and Ben-on my first visit, I was extremely anxious and I was a bit of an emotional wreck, but these three people made my experience a very pleasant one and put me at ease instantly. Both Harriet and Marie at reception managed to stop me having an anxiety attack, with their warm welcomes and calm, reassuring nature. Ben was the lifeguard on duty at the time of me swimming and he was encouraging and even managed to get me to try the back stroke, without being pushy. I went into the centre feeling nervous and mentally twisted, but came out of there feeling accomplished and uplifted (if not a little achy for my first swimming session in years ). Thank you to all the staff who work there as I have never met anyone who isn't helpful or friendly-what a great team. They have a variety of activities to join for all different interests and levels. I haven't been in the gym, so not sure what that is like. There are indoor squash courts and so many different classes to join, which you can book either online or in person. Booking online is easy and convenient too The swimming pool is great for the lane swimming and easy to understand with a slow lane, medium lanes and up to fast lanes. The changing rooms are spacious, although the ladies hairdryers are really slow, but you can't be perfect I suppose

Negative experience: After regularly booking the football pitches the price has now become unaffordable. When I booked over the phone I was told it would be £39.60 and when I arrived to pay was told it was £58.60. On questioning it with reception I was informed that it “is what it is, do you want to book or not?” The receptionist that came out of a meeting to speak to me was rude and unprofessional throughout. To cap off the experience we where told to leave the minute our time was up yet the lads having a kick about on the next pitch that hadn’t booked and paid where not moved on. Well done 2 riversmeet!! Thursday night football now moves to a new venue. I recommend anyone to steer clear.

Fantastic experience: This is my local skatepark, and I often get to skate it on weekdays when I have it to myself or only a handful of people are around. I love this park, it's got a diverse range of stuff to do, nice, smooth concrete and the setting is just gorgeous. I wish it had a bowl, but it's not a deal breaker. Gets pretty crowded on weekends.

Negative experience: This leisure centre is so out of date in both its buildings and facilities. It must be over 60 years old and it shows it. The mens' changing rooms have only 4 communal showers and the public swimming times are limited to a few hours each day and they keep changing the times. It is also, like other leisure centres is operating a pre-book process on its poor website which also needs updating. It still only allows 30 people into to lane swimming and has only one lifeguard on duty watching both the childrens' and the lane swimming. What's more you have to pay to park - why not a concession if you are using the leisure centre? Also it's coffee bar has not re-opened and been replaced by a coffee machine. When I asked why you have to book when Covid restrictions have been lifted a member of staff said: "It suits us.!" I reluctantly use it because there is nothing else in the area, although the New Milton Leisure Centre is much better - and cheaper.

Positive experience: Very kind and helpful when I visited to join the leisure centre. One thing that came to light and which disappointed me and another lady behind me was the fact that it seems that the café isn't open during the day. This is a poor business decision as I and I'm sure many others would enjoy a coffee break or even lunch between classes! Otherwise very welcoming.
