Reynolds Fitness Spa

Positive experience: Great service and a lovely spa. The staff are lovely and the facilities are good, all working well and enjoyable. Was lovely and I’ll be back!

Negative experience: Unfortunately not what it could be. In real need of a deep clean and update. The pool, spa area and changing rooms have chipped paint and tiles with mould on the ceilings. The gym is a little soulless, but good amount of equipment. The spa area, including pool can get busy with visitors on spa days where you'd think some of the money coming in from those could be spent investing in the upkeep of the place. The spund effcts from the monsoon showers create a lovely, calm atmosphere, but its difficult to ignore the wear and tear. Membership isn't cheap, therefore I'd expect better conditions. Staff are friendly and helpful, but I think this place could be much improved, including communication when the boiler or facilities go down.

Positive experience: Had a lovely spa experience for the price. The spa is quite basic with only one pool and 3 steam rooms. Massage was basic too. It's a great place for a quick catch up. They provide one towel, a robe and fabric slippers. The cream tea is a hot drink, scones, cream and jam.

Ceren’s skill and attention to detail during my massage were incredible—she tailored the session perfectly to address my tension points. I left feeling completely relaxed

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Reynolds spa in Bexley and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the spa is incredibly calming and has a beautifully designed interior that immediately puts you at ease. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my visit was perfect. I opted for the trio package which involved a mini back massage, facial and scalp massage. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. The therapist Ceren, was very skilled and took the time to understand my needs, providing a personalised experience that left me feeling rejuvenated. The facilities were clean and well-maintained areas for relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the multiple steam rooms and sauna! I highly recommend Reynolds spa Bexley to anyone looking for a tranquil escape and high-quality treatments. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

Fantastic experience: Came in for a circuit style class and had such a good time. I’d never done a class before but our instructor Faye had great variations, got us to work hard and made it really easy to get to grips with. Also a great playlist to exercise along to which made it even better.

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely time at the spa, i had booked the reynolds days escape spa day which included 3 treatments. I came out feeling really relaxed and refreshed. The spa facilities were nice as well.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my spa day here with my friend, gentlemen on reception was lovely and extremely helpful. The cream tea was way better than I expected we got to chose and we went for lovely brownies which were served warm. Treatment was also amazing and relaxing the spa overall was very clean and not too many people either. Will 100% be back.

Positive experience: Booked a spa package with massage and facial which included cream tea. Location and facilities are great. But a few gripes If you know there will be an exercise class in the studio warn people who are on a spa day! I spent an hour trying to relax during treatments with a shout loud class going on. Once it stopped, then very loud banging started over head! Therapists should at least ask the clients a few questions about skin types and concerns rather than guessing. Mine was a very sweet girl but she needs more experience and possibly more training. Some never before techniques used with the back massage too. I would have liked a band to keep my hair out of my face as stray hairs kept being wiped across it during my facial. Overall not the most relaxing of experiences. Needs some work

Such a warm and welcoming interaction on arrival, you had a very nice relaxing massage with Karina, she was lovely and so easy to get along with. She made my experience so comfortable and was hands on. It was THE best massage I’ve ever had. Very professional was left feeling relaxed with a lot of relief. Will be back again definitely!

Fantastic experience: Had the most relaxing spa day there. I treated my mother there for her birthday. We arrived in the afternoon on a weekday where it was nice and quiet. I enjoyed using the facilities, doing laps in the pool. The back, neck and shoulders massage was to die for! Even the cream tea was delicious. If you're planning a spa day I highly recommend Reynolds!

Negative experience: The treatments were awful. The body massage was like a very light arm rub and the towel kept getting knocked off and exposing me (so I couldn't relax). The facial was 30 minutes laying with a face mask on whilst the woman sat above my head doing nothing, and no more than 15 minutes doing an actual facial, whilst coughing over my face constantly or coughing into her hands then touching my face (with no face mask on). The treatments were just incredibly awkward. The heated tiled beds had tiles missing which was uncomfortable to lay on, the pool was freezing! Absolute waste of £169! I wont be coming back or recommending to friends/ family!

Fantastic experience: I visited Reynolds spa for the first. Such a lovely experience very friendly and welcoming staff. I had a massage with Karina which was hands down the best massage I have ever received! She was very professional and is great at her job. Defo recommend.

Negative experience: WARNING - I signed up in October 2022, went a handful of times. Sadly our rented house had a huge flood. I went in and explained to the girls behind the counter that I was having to move short notice with my partner who was 6 months pregnant and I would need to cancel. A few months went by and the next thing I know i'm getting harassed by a debt collection agency for over £1200!!!! Apparently a huge flood and you having to move unexpectedly is not mitigating circumstance for these guys. Not to mention moving twice in 3 months meant I lost over £5000 i'm now dealing with these greedy people. I would understand if we where close, but it would take us 45mins plus to get there each day its not close at all. It ridiculous. Reynolds need to fix their customer service. Im happy to take them to court as not a judge in the land would view the circumstance and think it was fair. I would not sign up with these greedy greedy people.

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I joined the gym a year ago. We decided to get individual personal training sessions to motivate us and get us into a routine. We had a trial session with Josh and instantly connected and felt comfortable with his approach. He listened to what our goals were and adapted our training sessions accordingly. In addition, he was very flexible with both our work schedules which made it easier for us to establish a good gym routine. As well as checking up on us on our days off at the gym he also made sure that we were consistent whilst away on our holidays. Josh went above and beyond our expectations as a personal trainer and it’s nice to know he is always there when needed. Overall all staff at Reynolds gym are friendly and very helpful… would highly recommend to our friends and family.

Negative experience: Luxury this place is not! Sadly run by very young girls who have no experience with working in the public sector. In the entire time myself and friends were there, the pool area was not cleaned. There were no wipes to wipe the hot stone beds. Then 5 minutes before closing one of the young girls came into the changing room ‘shouting we shut in 5 minutes!’ No prior notification not even when we arrived to the premises. Was not very relaxing and wasn’t impressed! Oh and you have to bring your own towels….!!!

Fantastic experience: The feel of the spa was amazing. I had a great experience with Karina who gave me a back massage and. She was very attentive, explained everything around the treatment and also the products used. I feel so much more relaxed and will defo be back again!

Fantastic experience: I got a deep tissue massage done by Karina and all I can say is my god. She got magic hands or something because despite it being painful I haven’t felt like I can move like this since I was 20. And just an additional bonus that she was extremely welcoming and made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Been at Reynolds now for a year and it’s the best gym I’ve belonged too , the staff are friendly and welcoming ! Gym and spa areas are fully equipped and more then enough car parking spaces recently had a PT called Josh who is very friendly he pushing you to your potential very professional all in he recently completed he massage course which I highly recommend anyone to book in with him he makes you feel comfortable and welcome at all times .

Fantastic experience: Josh has been an amazing and supportive PT. He guided me through appropriate exercises to help me achieve my fitness goals as well guidance on how to exercise after surgery. His helpful but challenging approach is the perfect combination to get the most out of me. His friendly nature puts you at ease. I feel very lucky to have him as my PT! Positive experience: Writing this review for using the gym and pool areas. Haven't done the spa days. There are pros and cons with this place, but mostly the pros outweigh the cons. Pros: Gym is never too busy, can always get on equipment. Good range to use as well. Showers in pool area offer some interesting settings such as tropical rain and Caribbean storm, (highly recommend trying the latter) Along with a sauna, there are 2 different steam rooms on offer, normal and salt steam (for sinus relief) Has heated loungers, perfect when taking a break from swimming. Had a full body massage done and was very good. Cons: The foot spa machine lasts for about 30 seconds. As soon as you settle in and start to relax, it finishes abruptly. No jacuzzi sadly. Clearly needs a refurb. Bits of plaster and paintwork are showing their age around the facilities. You have to pay extra on top of your membership to have treatments. Members do get 10% discount, but still paying £70pm for membership. Could increase the discount slightly? Haven't tried the classes yet so can't comment on these. Although not perfect by any means, generally it's a good enough place based on my experience.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for about 15 years. Staff are always friendly and don't make me feel too old!

Negative experience: This used to be a lovely gym. It's gone down rapidly over the past few years and is now not worth the membership price. I had been a member for over 15 years. I had a joint membership with my partner with a lifetime contract price, however they have decided to not honour this and put up our membership price by increasing it nearly £50 per month! They can offer a discount but only if you can afford to fork out the whole years membership all at once! This is therefore discriminating those who can't afford to do this. Loyalty means nothing (even though we paid through Covid). They also no longer offer joint memberships (even though our contract stated this is what we had) and were going to charge us for 2 separate memberships without notifying us they don't offer these any longer. Most of the reception staff look bored and disinterested and are more interested in looking at their phones so you hardly get a hello or a smile from them, the studio floor is filthy and the gym equipment needs updating. They also do not offer any Les Mills classes which you can get at most other gyms. Weekends are overbooked with spa days. No longer value for money, it's a shame as it used to be a fantastic place with a great atmosphere , but now they seem more interested in getting your money. Their only saving grace are the yoga and pilates classes. Won't be rejoining.

Negative experience: Terrible Place bad and rude staff here, the gym has nice facilities and the spa is nice.The closing times are too early on the weekends,which is what really lets down the Gym.The reason why people are leaving is because of this reason while they are also putting the prices up.If they extended the closing times till at least 8pm,then more people would join but they refuse to make the opening hours on the weekends longer.

Positive experience: The treatments were great, and the therapists were totally worth it. Overall the facilities are really run down, the toilets were grubby and needed a make over. The whole building was too cold to relax which took the sheen off the whole day

Positive experience: went as a guest so not sure of membership options. Health Suite small but nice. Decor 'smancy'. hot beds a nice touch and the tropical rainforest shower is fab. food options paltry

Negative experience: Sadly I won’t be renewing my membership here. Having spoken to the assistant manager today about my concerns, I don’t feel there was any effort to take my comments on board to to retain my custom and since the membership prices have gone up now, I’d rather take my business to a gym who value it and where the facilities warrant the price. The only good thing I can say about the gym is that it’s never busy and the classes are excellent.

Negative experience: Not even a 1 star!!! Absolutely shocking no mention of refurbishment when booking your spa day!, COLD chaning rooms and treatment rooms! Water aerobic session with loud music going on, loud, drilling and thumping music while having a "relaxing" treatment dirty showers and floors, hairs in the the steam room, robes with holes in very dated and very un hygienic "afternoon tea " was awful and wouldn't even call it afternoon tea x2 small stale scones with cream and jam! very disappointed in our experience today. For the price we paid we could of got alot better local far from relaxing!

Fantastic experience: Had the most relaxing spa day here. Very welcoming and friendly staff! Lunch and afternoon tea was all delicious. Happy with cleanliness and all facilities. Only one thing would have been great if there was a jacuzzi, otherwise it’s a lovely place to visit and good value for money! Will be visiting again :)

Negative experience: This company done a 3 month contract with me I did 4 months then I moved area So I joined another gym.i contacted them to cancel my membership they told me in person to cancel my direct debit because I’ve reached my 3 month membership Now after 6 months they trying to get debt collectors after me saying I owe them another 4 months by cancelling are theses people for real Please people if you join this gym you will be disappointed in facilities it’s a very dirty place run down and it looks like they’re trying to rob people to fund to do it up

Positive experience: I went there for a spa day. The facilities are good. The gym has decent equipment and there are many machines so it can cater for busy periods. The sauna, steam rooms and pools are great. It wasn't too busy. The massage was more than satisfactory and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was lunch. We didn't know what it was - it turned out to be tea/coffee and scones. That's not enough food for a whole day, especially if you're using the gym. I wasn't aware we could pay for more food if we wanted to eat more.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved our day here. Was for my daughter’s Hen weekend with early afternoon tea and we then ordered sandwiches later too. Will definitely book again

Fantastic experience: Lovely health fitness spa in an old chapel. Staff really polite and knowledgeable and they sell decent food and drink options. The saunas are well kept, clean and very nice to use and they are very decent also. Great size gym which is very well kitted out.

Negative experience: Was so close to joining but noticed the dirty swimming room floor. Doesn’t feel very hygienic or luxury for what you pay.

Positive experience: Lovely spa day. Great facilities. Great staff. I had an excellent massage by Leanne who was very kind and attentive. I would visit this Spa again. It would be nice to have a relaxation room with beds as the only place to lie down and relax are the 4 heated beds by the pool. The two relaxation rooms are more like waiting areas (no dim lights, no beds, no relaxing music).

Positive experience: Being a member at Reynolds bexley for over 6years with two memberships, I pay every month … I went there today and realised I forgot my towel… came out to the reception. I spoke to a member of staff call Sam…. I’ll ask him kindly if he would have a towel or a rope that I could borrow. As I forgot mine … basically he said no without even looking… even though the police is a spa treatment I’m sure there will be towels or ropes in hand so I has to leave with being wet and wet clothes I will be cancelling my membershipS You

Negative experience: Called up months ago to cancel my gym membership as I hadn’t gone there in ages (£70 a month) and a woman on the phone said she’s cancelled my membership and assured my over the phone that there would be no further payments coming out. 3 months later I am still getting charged and they have no knowledge of my cancellation or anything of the sort. Thieves. Ps sort out the sauna and steam rooms that are always broken.

Positive experience: A lovely cosy spa- with aroma steam and sauna rooms, a lovely pool. if only they had a relaxation lounge not just for sitting but lying down. Would have been lovely to have a quick nap while feeling relaxed. And if they also had water fountain for refilling bottles.

Fantastic experience: The whole day was such a lovely experience. From the moment you walk in you are met by friendly staff in a very beautiful entrance hall. This is the first time I have been so was shown around the facilities. The pool was a very nice temperature, not too cold when you get in but cool enough for it to be refreshing after being in the sauna! It was very peaceful and the treatments were great and extremely relaxing. The rooms have a very relaxing feel and the lady that did my treatments was extremely friendly. We had a cream tea with our spa day which was very filling, but there is a nice menu with paninis and jacket potatoes. We had such a relaxing enjoyable day and we look forward to returning

Positive experience: Spa was a lovely setting. Not crowded which made all the difference with relaxing on the heated beds. No jacuzzi but the pool and sauna was nice. Had a cream tea, the scones were lovely and warm. Staff were very friendly and catered for us. Had a couple of treatments, the ladies were very nice and professional. Changing facilities were sufficient and clean. Overall had a very relaxing , pleasant day.

Not only are the facilities great but the equipment is top notch, clean and well equipped. Not to mention the staff… A big shout out to Josh B, who is a great asset to this vicinity, his recently joined but has integrated himself as a key member of staff and is popular amongst the members. Not only Josh but the whole crew and every staff member has been absolutely amazing with me and my family. Always friendly and helpful, which adds to the amazing community here at Reynolds. I’d highly recommend Reynolds to anyone interested in joining a gym/spa group. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I joined in November 2022 and have loved it. The gym is always quite empty and I often use the spa facilities. I also really enjoyed the free personal training sessions with Josh he’s a great motivator and plans good workouts.
