Positive experience: Good clean indie play zone. Very week priced

Negative experience: One leisure St Neots has drastically gone down hill. The swimming baths are always filthy and they stink of urine.

Negative experience: Poo in the pool. Staff took far too long to warn everyone after it being brought to their attention. Absolutely disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Great swim. Spotless changing room. Happy staff.

Negative experience: Just took my son here for a football game, this place is very big but could use some signs. We were supposed to play on the astro pitch and we went for the first car park we saw because we didn't see any signs. Turns out we went to the complete other side of the leisure centre and we wasted 15 mins getting to the astro. Simple signs for where the astro and the grass pitches are would help.

Fantastic experience: Great for the kids

Negative experience: Tennis courts might just be the worst I have ever played on. Lose gravel (I mean everywhere), net was to low, tash all round the court. Do not pay for the courts it seams they are just left open. Really disappointing how un kept they are and they are charging 8 pound and hour is an absolute joke.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars because they allow parkrun people in to change, use loos and shower. That's amazing and more places should be like this. Most are happy to pay a little if need be but this was amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Negative experience: My daughter just started swimming sessions on the 1st of August and she had a great time, first time ever in the pool, George was great teacher thank you, keep it up. On the 8th August it was horrible my daughter nearly drown, she cried so much that she just wanted to get out of the pool, and the guy seems not to care at all, I had to call her out and leave. And I am afraid that this experience might have some effect on her which would be disappointing really because the whole past week she was looking forward to swimming. My point is, she is just a toddler and very new to swimming she can't be treated same way as experienced toddlers who already know what they are doing, or what they supposed to do in the pool, I'm not saying my daughter must have special treatment but as a swimming instructor you know how to go about it when it comes to babies/toddlers who are new to swimming, right? Everything was wrong immediately the guy held her hand across the pool while not really looking that my daughter was afraid and feeling unsafe.That was when she tripped and nearly fell, she cried a little bit because of a shock, he just picked her up and put her the other side of the pool then few minutes later he came back to her swim further down, then the next minute my daughter's face was in the water, she cried so much she just wanted to be out and I had to call her out then leave. I had similar experience as a child although mine wasn't with swimming coach it was just us kids swimming, and I nearly drown, as grown as I am now, my phobia of water still there and I don't want my daughter to suffer the same. So please just be considered especially when it comes to toddlers who still new to swimming.

Negative experience: I have been a member for a few months, and I decided to give up. Sign-up was painful, the app for booking classes has never worked on my phone. Many classes were unavailable/full, and we also had classes cancelled without previous notice. The idea of a gym full of options didn't correspond to the reality, and the price wasn't worth it.

Negative experience: Pool is great but oh my it is filthy. Last sunday when we went, looking under the slide for example, old plasters and other rubbish. There were black bits on the floor in the pool. Please give it a good clean as it is disgusting. Will add photos next time we go

Positive experience: I went to take my granddaughter to a pool party. Very well organised, not too long, and everything seemed to be well organised. I would recommend this as a painless way to celebrate a birthday!

Fantastic experience: An excellent and modern gym and sports centre. It feels recently done up and is significantly nicer than many other One Leisure centres. I particularly liked the main gym which was full of clean, useful, and well maintained equipment and had the right balance of strength to cardio equipment for a commercial gym.

Negative experience: I am currently in the plan of leaving because of a staff member called Stuart. He came up to me and was very disrespectful. I believe it was because of my age and my gender (male) Also at the gym he always approaches women and talks to them for an obvious uncomfortable amount of time.

Fantastic experience: We visited this pool at the beginning of May 2024. St Neots swimming pool is really good and clean to and has a slide which is always open. It’s got a very modern reception with very helpful staff. The water temperature is a little chilly and my mum was moaning but she got use to it. I do recommend a visit.

Negative experience: Gym staff can be rude, myself and many others had issues with Stuart. Type of gym that cares more about earning money than improving broken equipment or fixing lights/holes in the ceiling. Glad I moved

Negative experience: I wish I was kidding when I say there are more children than adults who go here. But I’m not. The place is full of children. They linger after school and stay through the ‘commute’ rush; making any gym use almost non-existent. They collect in packs of 3,4.5,6, and giggle and hoard equipment. I cannot emphasis how many there are compared to fully grown adults who actually need to use the equipment. it feels like almost 40 pounds a month to be in a sixth form. The front door has been out of use for at least the three months I’ve been a member with no sign of repair. The courts are deathly quiet with no atmosphere. No music or usually other gym-goers. A lot of potential and good equipment; just atrocious use.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been for a while. Visited pure and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the facility was. I stopped going before as it used to smell and had slimey walls. Well done to the management for turning things around. I am now rejoining in the new year.

Positive experience: It's OK! The pool is good for kids as there are lots of shallow parts, and they have a slide for all ages. The loss of stars is for hygiene. The floors and toilets weren't clean, and neither were the changing cubicals. I took the kids home to shower as I didn't want to do it there.

Negative experience: Just don't bother joining. Only been a member for a month, sign-up was painful. Classes are always fully booked even a week out. The gym lockers were changed the other week to use the same fob as for entry, went today and still not working. You have to pre-book to gain access even for the gym, why? Wanted to get a coffee for the cafe but thats 'shut until further notice'. Then its little stuff like expected to wipe down machines but dispensers running out of tissue, toilets leaking in the mens. Just awful. Update lockers were supposed to be updated to work with membership tags, they couldnt get it working so gave up. Every time I go I have to ask for a card to use the lockers went today told they only have 1 card and that was lent out! Cafe still shut (never seen it open at all) can never get booked on any classes.

Negative experience: Joined beginning of the year (2024) on a monthly contract and have to say I can't see myself buying another month's membership for the gym - it's a faff to get in with the tag, you have to prebook each time you go (I was previously with another gym in Milton Keynes and it was a breeze to get in and out with a tag) - The changing rooms lockers are all broken or don't work and most people dump their stuff in there and hope it doesn't get nicked - water station was out of action in the gym so you had to use the other one in the corridor leading to the gym - I went for a session at peak time on a Monday night and there were no treadmills or other machines available to use (I heard a member of staff on a walkie talkie saying they had 80 people in and should they let any other people in!)

Negative experience: Went for the 'Floats Fun' session, seemed like good value for money but then we were called out after less than 45 minutes. I understand they were busy but would expect to have longer than that in the pool.

Positive experience: Could do with more white chairs in the viewing area for swimming. Tub chairs aren't really appropriate, when the windows are 1 metre off the ground. Also windows were extremely steamy today, so not really able to view anything!

Fantastic experience: Took granddaughter to swimming. Pleasant atmosphere, coaches respectful to their students.

Positive experience: Changing rooms a bit grubby sometimes but good value for money to swim.

Positive experience: Used the 3g pitch facilities. Had to use general changing room and were not allowed to leave belonging in it. Difficult when you have a whole teams kit.

Negative experience: I'm so disappointed with the swimming at one leisure, after spending £1k plus for 3 children @ £30/m each, between May 2022 to May 2023 my children have not improved from when they started there. As matter of fact they have digressed. Every other weeks sometimes weekly there is a new swimmimg instructors having them use floating waist bands which has caused them to digress after 3 years of swimming in Medway. Due to inconsistency with swimming instructors, my kids are being held back. I have been paying £90 per month for the for 12 month for my children to keep starting over the same leson every week. My two girls could swim their 5m unaided prior to starting at One Leisure and using tummy bands, they now struggle and depend on the waiste bands, they could thread the water, they can't anymore because they think they need the floating waste bands. The green fluxy teachers that are there who sometimes takes the adoc classes appears to be scared of the entering the water, never seem to want to get wet and therefore not instructing the kids properly. A few parents have already moved their kids elsewhere, but it's a matter of time before I follow suit.

Positive experience: Decent size swimming pool. Visited few times with kids for floats fun. Kids love the place. On the last occasion given wrist bands with no explanation. 45mins later announcement for one colour wrist bands to leave. I would have bought two sessions ifni knew about the 45 min limit.

Positive experience: Reasonable price for hire of the hall for kid's party and side room for food and drinks. We attend the swimming pool every week with our children and the lessons are well staged.

Positive experience: Changing facility at the pool has been renovated during lockdown and looks good. Unfortunately the boiler feeding the showers is still a bit dodgy. Pool area is tidy, but getting a bit tired. Staff polite and friendly. Scanner at reception is hit or miss, but staff were able to quickly look up my details. Not too busy on friday mid-morning session.

Positive experience: Did the public swimming there today for the first time and was alright. Did get a bit lose in the locker room with the double doors to a changing room, I walk out one side, kids and wife came out the other. Toilets are a busy just flooded with water from the showers so couldnt work out if I was standing in water or piss from kids missing the toilet, mmmhhhh lovely

Positive experience: Ok One Leisure in St.Neots is alright- it could be better… 1. Dirty!! Changing rooms are revolting. Some don’t have doors, some are broken, hairs are all over the floors, pee is all over the floor!! Do they actually clean it??? 2. The swimming pool is the right temperature BUT, still dirty - full of hairs. 3. Most Lifeguards are really nice… Except one, this lady told my family off so many times for doing NOTHING!! She told my sister off for trying to dive in the deep end. She was LEARNING!! Told me off for jumping in the deep end. And told my Gran off for tipping the float that her grandchildren were on as a bit of fun. Apart from these negative things, One Leisure is pretty good. Great timetables. Good slide and friendly office ladies.

Negative experience: For context this review is coming from the perspective of a serious(ish) lane swimmer looking to swim distances at a good, consistent pace. This was my first visit to this pool as the pool that I would normally swim at was closed for 24hrs due to a child being "ill" in the water. The TL/DR is: clean enough but the dimensions and lane swimming layout are sub-optimal for serious swimmers. The pool and facilities are clean and well maintained but the dimensions of the pool severely limit its appeal for lane swimming. To flesh that out a little it only has four "racing" lanes and for the purposes of lane swimming it's divided into three with the two outer lanes (one designated for slow swimmers and the other for fast) being somewhat narrower than the central lane. As long as everyone is swimming freestyle in the fast lane then there's just about enough room to allow swimmers to pass in different directions but it's not really very practical to overtake when the swimmer you want to overtake doesn't realise you're looking to do so. The shallow end is very shallow and would limit almost anyone from flip turns. One thing that could be improved upon, even with the limits of the physical dimensions, would be to use proper, bouyed lane dividers. As it is the lanes are divided using rope which is very difficult to see whilst you're swimming with your face in the water and it does nothing to moderate turbulence between lanes with the result that I found the pool to be more choppy than I'm used to. I think that would be improved with bouyed lane dividers.

Fantastic experience: First time at this leisure centre. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and showed me around. The pool was great and loved that they had a box of toys for the little ones. The shallow end even felt warmer than the rest of the pool. Will definitely be back!

Positive experience: Good facilities. We only use the squash court so can't comment on much else but great to have such good facilities on our doorstep! Always looks well maintained and popular elesewhere!

Fantastic experience: Went for a swim with a 3 year old boy on a Tuesday morning in term time for a first time visit to One Leisure St Neots. The entrance and changing rooms were clean, tidy and fresh. It was very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The flume was active and thoroughly enjoyed! The pool was very quiet for the entire session. A great pool to visit. We recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Great gym/activities. Reasonable pricing and creche availability alongside membership. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Equipment is cleaned constantly. Only slight point is that since the revamp our programme key fobs no longer work which is a shame but hopefully that will be back up and running soon

Fantastic experience: Used to go swimming here and I loved it, it was the joy of my weak, but went to a nerf gun party here a while ago and the guns were useless.

Positive experience: I attend the gym it has lots of equipment a good atmosphere alots of TVs dotted about and background music. It is very busy I went at 19.00 the other Tuesday and it was packed! to many people for the amount of machines really but somehow it works. Lockers to use u will need a trolley tocken tho. Squash courts always very busy and lots of activities in the main hall fencing etc. Equipment is well maintained for the most part one machine has been broken for awhile which is a step machine. Car park is a problem always full never enough spaces. Staff helpful and friendly

Negative experience: I went to use the sauna area to work out some kinks and do some light stretching, the condition was definitely not as advertised. There were several “heat rooms”, and each one is supposed to have different aromatherapy features. None of them smelled nice though. One actually smelled like body odor. The cooling showers were also supposed to be scented, and only one shower actually was. One of the showers wouldn’t even turn on; I suspect it’s because the on buttons are touch activated, which don’t work well when you are wet. It was also obvious the sauna space was not cleaned recently, or at least not well. The relaxation room I could only tolerate for a few minutes as it smelled like old dirty towels. I wouldn’t even use the water cooler, assuming that if they cannot keep the room clean then there’s no way the water lines for the cooler are clean and free of mold. It’s a shame too, as these saunas are supposed to be recent added features, and the display inside the locker room advertising them looks about 100x better than the actual thing.
