Cupar Sports Centre

Fantastic experience: What makes this leisure centre so good..is the staff, who are absolutely amazing. So welcoming and encouraging. The facilities are very good, having the sports hall here is really an asset for lots of different classes and sports clubs. The loos and changing facilities could do with upgrading. The pool is as good as St Andrews and has a hoist facility which St Andrews does not. The gym facilities are good enough and they have made intelligent use of one of the squash courts and the odd shaped actual gym area. I’m very happy to support this centre, as I’ve always felt they have supported me. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Yup, this is where I learnt how to swim

Fantastic experience: What an excellent pool. I learned how to swim here and have recently started using it again. A testiment to keeping a space clean and in good working order. The water is superb!

Fantastic experience: My son does swimming lessons here. His swimming teacher Jen is just brilliant with the kids gental and firm when needed. To see his confidence build each week is amazing. Just the right pool to learn in nothing to distracted them with.

Positive experience: Can't fault the staff, they were all absolutely top notch and so friendly. 5 stars for them. Unfortunately the whole place (especially the changing rooms/showers) need a whole refurbished look. I wouldn't say it was dirty but just all over not a great place to get changed before/after...not to mention no family changing so dad's can't take daughters/mum's take sons. Small but suitable for just swimming lengths, but I'm glad we lived close to get showered after at home - too cold in their ones.

Negative experience: Virtually impossible to use for general swimming as a member of the public. Block booked for club and lessons. Disappointing.

Negative experience: You pay the same price for membership as in glenrothes, but closed half the time. And can hardly use the swimming pool. Waste if money

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, staff always happy to help and make you feel welcome. Haven't used the swimming pool but well organised for social distancing.

Fantastic experience: It's great to go swimming again. The aqua aerobics is super as is the chair pilates. Nice friendly staff too.

Positive experience: I've only ever passed the place either in car or on bus but people have told me it's really nice inside and the prices are ok and it's good for kids and adults.

Positive experience: Play squash here every week. Decent facilities. Water in the showers could be warmer. Relatively expensive for 40mins play, (£7.30). Bring extra squash balls, easy to loose them in the netting between the two courts.

Negative experience: Ok place nothing exciting

Positive experience: Clean and tidy. Great fun pleading walking football under the floodlights.

Positive experience: Die Preise sind überspitzt und das Angebot zu klein etwas besser sind die Combi-pakete schwimmen und Gym 35£ ist für mich sehr attraktiv da schwimmen einzeln 25£ kostet und nicht täglich nutzbar ist . Außerdem großer Nachteil , der Rasenplatz besitzt keine festen Fußball Tore da diese dem Fußball Club gehören und nur werdend Vereins training für die Spieler zu Verfügung stehen ist eine runde privat mit ohne Tor oder mit hohen kosten verbunden..

Positive experience: Very clean although it is very very warm.

Positive experience: Functional, but rather old swimming pool. Air-conditioning never seems to work in spectators area, where chairs to sit and watch are down to 5. There are 3 two seaters at the back though. Showers, toilets and sinks could do with refurbishment, since they are going to be in their 40s soon, I'm told. They did get new lockers and staff are friendly. However if you've got your child in a course don't count on having the same teacher and as mentioned earlier if you plan to stay and watch, dress for 20°C+!!! 10/17: Things have improved since the post. Chairs have been added and air-conditioning has improved! But toilets in the ladies changing room don't lock properly :-/

Fantastic experience: Good provision for swimmimg lengths and pool attendants are attentive to customer needs.- they roped off a lane during a public session I was at recenly for people swimming lengths. Staff are friendly and helpful.
