Fantastic experience: Good range of equipment and loads of free classes to suit various levels of fitness. Overall a really friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Facilities and staff are top notch. More importantly the equipment is wonderful in terms of selection. You won't find yourself short of options for training any way you wish. Also shout out to James C. Best PT there by far.

Negative experience: Gym is well equipped with friendly staff. However, there seems to be mismanagement with internal 'policies' that customers are not aware of and apparently neither are staff. Cheap but there is a reason. Spend a little more and go elsewhere imo.

Positive experience: Very good value for money. Gets very busy which is to be expected however I feel like there's never enough lockers:(

Negative experience: The only pro here is that it’s massive and has tons of equipments. Other than that, there isn’t much to add. The gym is extremely crowded and the people are unruly. The gym is not clean either. If you come here during off peak hours then it’s fine but at peak hours it’s not good for working out. Only Join here if you’re on a budget.

Positive experience: I went there today, The gym is compact with machines and weights on the bottom floor, There is a downside you have to pay 6 quid for a padlock to the locker which is annoying. Would recommend coming here though.

Negative experience: Not a good choice. There are certainly other gyms with newer instruments and certainly more clean, who are also not involved in politics.

Positive experience: It’s a good place and they are renovating and updating the machines but the temperature upstairs is horrendously cold and I already have circulation problems this doesn’t help when upstairs. The toilets are never properly maintained! The staff aren’t on top of things at all! Do better!

Fantastic experience: Excellent

Negative experience: smells so bad eveywhere.. the only place that i can breathe is in the women's toilet. The gym should try to maintain the awful smell and it's probably because they used carpets instead of a normal gym flooring which is easier to clean/mop. those carpets absorb sweat which leads to unpleasant odors if not properly cared for. if you choose to use carpet at the gym where people's sweat will be absorbed ever since you guys opened, then invest in any scented diffuser or anything to get rid of the smell. just anything. vacuuming it is not going to magically get the odour off.

Fantastic experience: The Zumba class is amazing. Truly for all fitness levels. Have been twice and enjoyed it both times. I’ll definitely be a regular. 10/10 would recommend

Positive experience: Good stop for a solid workout experience with plenty of high quality equipment available however the fitness class music is WAY TOO LOUD. You can hear it throughout the entire gym even if you are wearing expensive noise cancelling headphones; it doesn't need to be so loud and it is quite selfish that they play the music so loud for only a small room of people.

Fantastic experience: Always lovely and clean, really nice staff. I never feel judged at all and really enjoy working out here, the classes are great too.

Positive experience: I've only just started going after my last gym closed. It's nice and spacious inside, free weight area is chaos. Nearly all the weights were out of order and not in the right place, multiples were stacked on one another so just looks not well kept. People leaving gym bags lying around the floor looks messy as well, just gets on my nerves.

Positive experience: Decent and cozy! But limited machines than expected

Negative experience: Members of staff would rather chat among them than attend to a customer waiting outside. What a shame! 3 of you standing there doing nothing yet none of you would assist me. I waited outside for 30 minutes and even after they were told someone needs assistance outside, they couldn't bother coming out. Not all the questions we have are answered on the website. The same people who said they would provide excellent customer service during their interview. Shame on you

Negative experience: Really bad unprofessional behaviour. Also they don't have common machines.

Negative experience: The white manager he don't care when you report a problem or a hazard he's always busy chasing girls

Positive experience: 3 floors of gym space. Quite a huge gym. The staff is super friendly and the equipment is current. Plenty of space and private space as well.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. I got the membership and it wasn’t working. Besides that, they’re is literally water dripping from multiple places in the gym like seriously what. Wouldn’t recommend.

Positive experience: Excellent and completely clean environment. Perfect for creating a pure body

Negative experience: Extremely busy all the time, with a lot of extremely rude Chinese students with no spacial awareness hovering over you/machines

Negative experience: I couldn't even get in to the gym the main door keeps breaking also the time previous the gym was a mess someone had been eating chocolate pancakes in the changing room and left all the packing on the floor toilet roll all over the floor also the entire place has a really bad smell of a mixture of rotten protein shake and rotten water

Fantastic experience: Please lower the volume in the Zumba classes, they are auditory terrorism

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience at PureGym recently. The loud music was absolutely deafening, and to make matters worse, there was a rude staff member named Candy who refused to turn it down until they left at 10 pm. The speaker was positioned right above my head, making the situation unbearable. It's a shame that such a simple request for a quieter environment couldn't be accommodated. I won't be returning to this gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, well run and clean. The staff are really helpful and any time I have requested some advice on training plan or diet they have provided great tips. I can thoroughly recommend the gym.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a class that’s fun and will ensure you exert yourself, step is the place to be. The song selection and the vibe that Andreia brings to the class makes it even more enjoyable. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: The best pure gym I've used so far. The hydro massage chairs are my favourite part ha! Took a stretching class that makes my work outs even more fun. Can't recommend this enough. Treat yourself.

Negative experience: They just suspend your membership without ringing you but THINK you’re gonna still pay your DD for a service you’re not getting. Can’t even speak to a human to sort this out. Infuriating

Positive experience: Well equipped gym with a good atmosphere and spacious interior. Entry was a little unintuitive as registration through the app proved a bit difficult as a foreigner and I wish the lockers didn't need padlocks, as without one you can't lock it. Still a good place if you are looking for a place to be a regular at or just don't want to miss a gym session when you are on vacation.

Positive experience: Good gym in Leeds centre, very nice changing rooms with plenty of lockers, benches and showers which are clean and tidy. The gym has plenty of equipment with many different sections but lacks enough plate loaded machines.

Fantastic experience: Does the job as long you don't go when it is crowded.

Negative experience: Gym always far too busy and has a putrid smell of raw sewage in the free weights area

Positive experience: Big weights space and nice and quiet on weekend mornings. Sometimes there is a weird drain smell on the basement floor.

Negative experience: Pathetic that they are changing opening hours ! Closing at 8pm on a weekend and only opening at 6am . What a joke . Very disappointed in who makes these decisions . And all to save money / like keeping tvs off . Sort yourself out pure gym !

Negative experience: Joined the off hours membership as I am a student, there was no mention of this being applied to classes. Turns out it is applied to classes, so unless you want to attend a class at 6/7 am (not that there are many) not worth it. Upon finding this out tried to cancel and the website errored, just had another payment taken (£15) asked for a refund (day of) because I hadn’t accessed the gym ONCE and they said no. TLDR: not worth the money, just join Gym Group down the road, especially if you’re a student. Way better value for your money

Negative experience: Is a great gym but the staff is epic lazy. I paid for the yanga water and it wasnt working. I spoke to three staffs who were just chatting with one another. Two ignored me, one said to me: we can’t do anything and let itself sort itself out. I was like: wow! Tht’s it? You paid good money for nothing. Thankfully the manager took control and actually did somethiny. Kudos to the manager but wow. Three staffs just chatting away. Two ignored me and one gave an excuse to do nothing.

Positive experience: Unhappy they’ve taken the scales away. Don’t have any at home because I don’t think it’s healthy to be getting on them every day so I weighed myself once a week at the gym to track my progress. Aside from this is still a good gym and I still enjoy my visits.

Positive experience: The gym itself is a good , staffs are nice. But the weights aren’t in order, there are even some weights that are missing. equipments are scattered everywhere and just makes training annoying when you cant find what you need.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional STEP instructor, wrong movements every time! Never have a good pace!

Negative experience: ¡No esta organizado cada uno va a su bolla y ocupan todas las máquinas! Voy a este gimnasio y casi me pegó con otro porque había cogido un gancho para la máquina y el tío se puso borde además de utilizar 4 máquinas a la ves! Se creía que era su gimnasio particular! Cada vez que está aglomerado tienes que esperaras de 2h para que te toque la pesa que tú buscas! Porque uno recoge todas las pesas aunque no las necesite! Y te quedas esperando hasta que se la pasé a otro que estaba antes que tú y así se te va las ganas de gym ! Además no existe servicio al cliente a partir de la tardes! Un gimnasio de 24h sin embargo queda mucho que desear !

Negative experience: The only good thing about this gym is it’s location. The equipments are decent nothing fancy. The customer service from the staff is not up to the mark. And worst part is the bathroom, it always stinks as there is no Ventilation.

Positive experience: Nice and big with loads of equipment and the usual scattering of rats and bunnies, but overall pretty cool. Awesome eastern euro (?) Chick working there as well

Fantastic experience: This Gym has all the facilities any fitness enthusiast would require. Great location also.

Positive experience: It's huge, it has so many different machines! Probably avoid peak times as most machines there's only one of. They have an automatic massage chair that really helps with knots in the shoulders. More expensive than average for a gym because of all the fancy machines (like the massage chair,) worth it if you will use that kind of thing. Nice atmosphere also.

Fantastic experience: Valuable price. Professional equipment and classes. Fab staff. When you have some questions PTs are always happy to answer. Even if it's just a simple conversation they are super nice and friendly to you. Always Clean and tidy. Very good location. The 24hrs access is brilliant so you can always have the flexibility. During the peak time it will absolutely be crowded and usually you need to wait if you wish to use some popular kits/equipment. The clean station is everywhere so after use it is not hard to finish the last step of workout. Hydration station, massage chair, as a plus member I do enjoy all the benefits a lot!!

Fantastic experience: Hands down, the best gym around. Best prices, best equipment, amazing staff, high quality of hygiene. App could use some improvement in terms of speed. But everything about PureGym is absolutely perfect. Their Plus package benefits, the classes, the water.

Positive experience: Gym is the perfect size and has all the weight and cardio equipment you need, and space to workout as there is the studio as well. However they don’t have good bars for calisthenics / pull ups at this one but they do have some bars which most people will get their use from. Unless you are there to strictly do calisthenics , you won’t notice this. Apart from that great gym!

Fantastic experience: Good experience. Gym doesn't have its own parking and parking on the main road is not recommended. Gym itself is supreme. They got a new hydroMassage machine which is a must try. Thumbs up.

Negative experience: Ive been training in various gyms across the country for over 10 years. This is the worst I've ever used. Absolutely stinking, no ventilation, messy/unhygienic to the point of being a genuine health danger to the members. Don't bother.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in town. The staffs are constantly clean down the equipment. Love their new classes especially STEP (Candi Francis and Andreia Rodrigues)! They are the best PTs in PureGym. Members should book in to their STEP class! It was so fun.
