Positive experience: Love this gym (third one I've used in the last 12 months). Feel safe, nice atmosphere. But... please sort out the heating! Kept my thermal on today, was so cold....Ladies changing room was freezing

Fantastic experience: I started working out in February 2024. At first it was very hard because I started with a weight of 109kg () and I only used a treadmill. But now after 8 months it's getting better and I use more machines to exercise my whole body. My weight is 78kg (-31kg ). My plan is an additional -10kg. Energie Fitness was a bullseye! Personal trainers are always willing to help and give tips. The open gym gives many opportunities especially for working mothers.

Negative experience: I've been a member of this gym since 2014 but as longer I'm here, more often I think about changing the gym. Lifting equipment and benches being replaced with stationary bikes( one flat bench for whole gym is a joke). Showers in the man's changing room are not sorted for over a year now. Air conditioning not working for few months. In this weather owners are not even bothered to put some fans around. Only good thing about this place is its location nothing else.

Negative experience: I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!!! Read till the end!! First of all, the parking on site is rubbish. Apparently, your number plate must be put into the terminal in the gym within 10 mins of entering the gym. Noone mentions this to you until you recieve the extortionate fine from Excel parking. It's £100 for any second over 90 minutes. This 10 mins limit obviously doesn't give any room at all for any gym member who forgot to but still put their number plate in after 10 minutes. The gym owner couldn't care less. The gym management couldn't care less. The gym owner and management told me that so many members have recieved these fines and some are having to pay thousands. They said, they will not be helping in any way. They simply refuse to talk to the people who manage / own the car park. So they allow Excel Parking to consistently rip off the gym members. So, you could recieve potentially extortionate fines all for the sake of a gym that I have witnessed the decline of. This gym is poorly equipped, dirty, machines are often out of order. The place is messy and cramped. Look around and shop around. Even SimplyGym in Kettering is better equipped. There are much better alternatives for gym in Kettering now. My honest advice will be to not bother signing up with this gym. Don't sign up for a gym where you can be hit with ridiculous fines and the owners don't try to help in anyway. Even though you have proof of using the gym at that time. Don't sign up to a gym that is just so poorly equipped, poorly organised and poorly managed. Infact, the price you pay a month for the membership is definitely not worth it. From someone who was one of this gym's first customers, I can really say how poor it has become. JOIN ANOTHER GYM!!!

Negative experience: Not recomended AT ALL I was there for one training session with idea to join it from next month... That was yeasterday 28.11.23 about 8.30pm. I was ask to pay £5 for it. Place was messy and I was treat really bad by staff (blond lady). I was ask to remove my things from changing room with words: " get out you things from there as I closing it". Not "could you", "do you mind to" or "can you" but just arogant and rasist based on my Est Europe akcent!!! Will never go back there and recoment to do same!!!! Never came a cross such rude person with no respect for costumer!

Negative experience: I see that this matter has not been resolved as you promised . I received another 2 letters from excel parking company . This is absolutely ridiculous .It is your responsibility to provide safe parking for your gym members

Negative experience: I went here for 2 weeks during august, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone in Kettering, there are far better alternatives such as simply gym or balance, Energie is packed 24/7 and all the machines are left with sweat and grease all over it , the toilets are always out of order , but the staff are very nice

Staff are constantly available and helpful, they keep the gym tidy and clean and all of the equipment are in great use. If you’re looking for a 24/7 gym with great staff I’d highly recommend energiefitness!

Negative experience: Very disappointed. I cancelled my direct debit due to hard times, a member of staff called me and I explained the situation and told them I will rejoin next month in which they said they will sort something out. Now a company named HARLANDS emails me giving me a hard time by asking for additional administrative charges. Fair enough I should have gave 30 days notice, However its no big deal, Now this company is acting as a dept collection agency, I will pay them and never join energie again, the gym group is better as its more flexible in this terms.

Positive experience: Recently joined to go after night shifts. Really good gym, good equipment. Only massive down side for me was the plan is to do a work out after work shower go home and go to sleep. Unfortunately the changing rooms and showers are locked when the gym is unmanned.

Positive experience: Good equipment, friendly Staff, 24 hours and a welcoming environment. Some unpredictability as certain equipment is often moved around and there seems to always be a different piece of equipment no longer working but overall very good.

Negative experience: The gym is very dark and the equipment is in poor condition and very less. Staff members are really not bothered. Even after 3 days of registering for the membership, I couldn't access the gym as the fob didn't work.

Fantastic experience: Great crew of people, very impressed with their patience and understanding to a complete newbie to the gym scene....1st time I've walked in to one in over 30 years, explained everything and totally understood my fitness level, that of a sofa blamange having let my occupation get the better of me stuck behind a wheel...took out the weekend membership at £12.99, which is great for me, good parking and slap bang in Kettering Town Centre.

Negative experience: The equipment is ok, I manage to get a decent body part workout during the day when it's less busy and it's good value for money. . Only 1 star though as I left a new jumper in the storage at the side of the gym. Dont usually do this as normally have the car but its says CCTV in operation. I forgot to collect my jumper from the storage and asked if they could check on the cameras who took it. They noted all my details and never got back to me. I know it's my fault leaving the jumper there but dont say that you're going to check the CCTV and solve the situation when you're not. The camera has now been taken down. People can just walk in off the street because the gate is always open. In summary an ok gym to do a quick in and out workout but if security is important to you, avoid. Remember you pay £16 a month and this is exactly what you are to them £16 a month!

Positive experience: Decent gym. Good range of equipment. Could do with some more dumbbells and plates. Hopefully 24/7 opening hours come in soon as that's what got me back through the door!

Negative experience: Not 24 hours. No mats for doing abs. Also feel ill everytime after coming here because of all the dust the carpets and showers aren't cleaned. Only come here as there's no where else in Kettering.

Negative experience: Serves a purpose. what can you expect for 12.99 a month. Hardly 2 plates the same brand. Sign saying machine would be fixed by 23rd december it's now the 5th January. Also this was apparently reported on the 5th December. Even the clock said 2pm at 5:30. Some nice bits of equipment but failing in basic areas. If it wasn't for the friendly staff and nice people that train there it would have been a one star.

Negative experience: This place is cheep, there are good points and bad the bad part is mainly the floor where the classes are it's just cheep thin carpet on what I guess is concrete not the best - there are roll out mats but you can tell they won't last. Massive plus though and the highlight of this gym is the classes they do allot and all good instructors but the stand out are the guy that does the boxing class and Paula's classes, she gets involved in them and makes you feel a party of the group that are doing it have a laugh at the same time. So really this would easy go to a 4 star if they put some money in to the studio. New update they are cancelling classes of the are no more than 3 people. Saying it's because it's free lance trainers. Do they don't want to pay them.

Fantastic experience: Looking for pilates classes in Kettering and found it here. Took a guest pass and visited last week for the class. Paula made me feel so welcome, only half a dozen in the class so it was relaxed and enjoyable - but I certainly felt it! Took out a membership straight after the class and will certainly be attending both sessions each week. I should also like to try the LBT class but was told that if not enough people book online then Ross doesn't hold the class. So even if you do book online it's wise to ring and check before you go. Great value for money for what I need and my initial impression is very good.
