Fantastic experience: Great Gym, excellent facilities. Fab cafe with play area for little ones. The cafe dies a great cappucino! fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Great place Actually went for Blood Donation session Great facilities

Ian Kelly 10 months ago

Positive experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for years, really enjoy going, however I noticed today they have opened a really nice area near the entrance called welcome area, it looks like a work center you see in Manchester town center where you can remote work. I enquired about it today, I couldn’t believe it when a staff member who was sat all on his own in this area said it was only for staff members to use when they are signing up new clients. Just think they’ve missed a trick and been a little short sighted. It’s a welcome area to everyone only not paying members. Such a shame really

Kettle Major 11 months ago

Negative experience: Werid new trend of kicking people out the pool area early. charging extortionate prices to not be 24/7, and then even kicking us out early

Tim Hayward 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: I use this gym when I am staying away in Stockport as it's free to use when you stay at the best western pinewood at handforth. It's a clean gym with great facilities and a nice well organised swimming pool, along with a good sauna and great staff, always very welcoming and helpful. Great parking too.

Andrew Cooke 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great facilities and gym. Also an area to have a coffee and work

Anna Watson 11 months ago

Negative experience: Really dirty, no one uses a towel in the sauna areas and gym. Old facilities. Everywhere needs a tlc. The changing rooms don’t seem to be cleaned regularly, hair all over the floor. My bf caught an infection from the steam room or whirlpool (which has a brown film). Cancelled membership and won’t be retuning. The customer service when I called to raise the poor cleaning issues were not dealt with and I had to call back twice to get my refund and cancel membership. Very disappointing as could be such a great place for the area!

hashim tofiq 11 months ago

Negative experience: Terrible Customer Service and Payment Fraud “Total Fitness Health has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I canceled membership for my family member 4 months ago, but they kept charging my credit card. When I called to get it fixed, I was bounced around between different staff members, none of whom seemed to care or know what they were doing. They’ve charged me for three extra 4 months, and I still haven’t gotten a refund. Be very careful with your payment information here. I had to drive from Derbyshire to total fitness wilmslow waste a day so I can fix the issue the person promised me my issue with taking payment will be fixed if send work contract for my nephew so I emailed twice the work contract still no response and since then total fitness wilmslow  still took 2 payments out of my bank. I contacted the bank they can’t cancel the payment. I don’t know what to do anymore.I don’t no how long they take payment from my bank

Negative experience: Not a great start. New member, excited to book new class and ready to book at 7:59, pressed confirm booking just as we passed 8 and system crash . Grrrrr . Now 8:12 and still have the wheel of doom. Mrs Snape

Fantastic experience: Such a nice gym, it’s huge and the facilities are great! Pool is massive and has a big hot tub as well as smaller ones plus sauna steam room etc. Great parking and the coffee shop is nice if a little pricey!

Negative experience: Don't care when your bike gets stolen outside no access to CCTV they say. Beware locking your bike up here. My son will be changing gyms because of this

Fantastic experience: Good clean gym, plenty of space , and various machines, running track, excellent value for money, staff at wigan though seem for friendlier, one the whole but wigan certainly not as busy.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic fitness club. They have everything. Free weights/machines/treadmills/an indoor running and walking track/laned swimming pool. Hydro pool/saunas/steam room. Massive changing rooms. Easy parking ,great cafe. I visited to enquire about joining following a serious injury and looking at rehab and generally getting fit. Following a free trial i was offered by JOHNNY in sales who was absolutely brilliant, showing me around and explaining the different membership options . Ive joined with no hesitation. Cant recommend highly enough. MANY THANKS TO JOHNNY AND All THE TEAM AT TOTAL FITNESS WILMSLOW.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym.... lots of machines.... plenty of free weights..... lovely swimming pool. It also has an indoor running track and aerobics section...... plenty of classes if you're into that too. The majority of people are friendly and harmless. Lots of posers, but I ignore them..... Large car park, plenty of space to park, but you will always find an incredibly weak person parking their flash motor outside of the bays but closer to the front door...... I guess you find this everywhere? Other than that I love this place. If you find this review helpful, you can catch me at the gym to personally thank me. I especially prefer accepting your thanks in the form of Bitcoin [BTC]. Have a good day.

Negative experience: No cleaning, no air condition, too much membership cost, disordering, disgraceful place

Blake Ward 1 year ago

Negative experience: It is a good facility with an easy location to find and a good selection of things to do. Pools, and things you would expect to find in a gym. I have been going to the gym for a while and I’ve seen lots of children in the hot pools. And I wanted to share that experience with my children too. We entered the pool and got shouted at by the lifeguard saying children are not allowed in the pool! We left the pool immediately and entered the child pool where the water was unclean and filled with children.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, will total fitness be adding an outdoor pool to there portfolio?

Dave W 1 year ago

Positive experience: Great gym. Rejoined after a few years elsewhere due to covid / work location. Big, huge variety of equipment and changing rooms are big and clean. Only one downside stopping the 5* - there aren't enough benches and the ones they have are old. Other than that, everything else is top drawer.

Saj Docs 1 year ago

Negative experience: 1. Please repair cardio bikes that have been out of order for months 2. Please add a working air con otherwise this gym will be unbearable in summer! 3. Please sanitise/clean equipment more frequently throughout the day virgin and other gyms never have the above issues so please kindly can management look into these

Positive experience: No longer a member but visited for the cafe. Food is great and there is a child play area which is ideal for kids.

Michael Foody 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Excellent pools, water jacuzzi areas, steam, sauna and different showers, a must for all ages

Jean Knowles 1 year ago

Positive experience: Good gym, nice track to walk round until you get round to a section where they have a circuit, which looks good, but the music is far too loud. I know a bit of a beat keeps you working hard, but the amount of people who we hear complaining about the volume means so.ething needs looking at. Maybe the trainer is deaf.

Yvonne Withnall 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Great place to visit. Staff are friendly. Excellent service.

Rachael 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Only went for the day - but the location was easy to find. I was amazed by the side of the building and for what they had inside. Impressive set up throughout and even the.indoor running track. Male pt was very helpful in showing us the facilities and around the gym. This place I would like to visit again but using all what had to offer i.e. wet area. Only disappointment was that the showers water was alittle cold - but using the sauna soon helped

Simon W 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I recently left Nuffield Gym in Didsbury which has sadly gone down hill over the last few years due to poor management. In comparison Total Fitness is an excellent gym, reasonably priced and HUGE. Even at peak times I don’t struggle to get on any equipment. The staff are friendly and the client base really diverse from all ages and backgrounds. I always feel welcome here, strongly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Energie Gym nearby shutdown which was disgusting so to coming to this gym is amazing. Huge gym over 2 floors, amazing pools, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi, squash courts, table tennis table, amazing cafe. You can spend a full day here and not get bored. Unbelievable!

DPF Doctor Manchester Karl 1 year ago

Negative experience: Good facilities but over crowded even at off peak times

Andrew Jackson 1 year ago

Positive experience: Decent gym with great personal trainers but the changing rooms are looking dated, the food in the cafe isn't great and it doesn't open until 6 am.

Turb0 _360 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Enormous gym floor is probably the best equipped gym and leisure facilities that iv ever seen, and for a reasonable price if used regularly. Has enough of everything so you can always do some kind of exercise even when it'd busy.

Mr Clapp 1 year ago

Negative experience: Been a member for a number of years and I’ve watched a steady decline in standards, In both gym and pool. The gym is filled with curly hair boys who group up around the free weights area and take selfies. The cardio machines are hogged by the elderly who mostly don’t know how to use them. The pool area is often dirty with saunas and steam rooms shut or overflowing with people. They’re currently asked £60+ a month for new membership. It’s not worth £30.

Gurjeet Virdi 1 year ago

Negative experience: Impossible to use headphones in the gym as trainers play their own music far too loud, prioritising a small number of people over the majority. Feel more stressed coming out of the gym than going in. Lots of old chewing gum stuck in cardio machines, lots of equipment constantly broken (e.g. stairmaster) generally quite grotty in places too. Not worth the money compared to the likes of Puregym etc.

Carol Asquith 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I think I have been a member since it opened.

J K 1 year ago

Negative experience: Absolute disgrace of a place. Parking inspectors in the customer car park. £100 fines for parking outside of a bay in a private members health club! It’s just a money grab. £25 fine would be disgusting but more reasonable. No empathy, refused to let me cancel membership. Shower and pools all cold as they again try and save money. Weights never put away. Arrogant staff, could just be morons though it’s hard to tell

Sasha Brooks 1 year ago

Negative experience: Hydro pool one section doesn’t work and hasn’t for nearly 2 years! 1 shower in the main pool area works for almost 30 people at a time! So people get frustrated when they have to wait, and that’s not a nice feeling when you pay so much for the membership. Showers are cold and missing soap dishes! Overcrowding on equipment as not much out. Not worth your money. It seems when somethings not working there is no urgency to get anything fixed. No maintenance happens. You’ve lost me as a customer for nearly 2 years due to your lack of detail and attention.

Rizwan Shahid 1 year ago

Positive experience: Best fitness club in Wilmslow. Monthly fee is on a higher but that's reflected on facilities provided. However, family package is missing that could attract more young people and families.

sam haley 1 year ago

Negative experience: The lady behind reception was really rude! When I grabbed my water I told her my partner was coming to train and please let her in she said it was fine. You do not get any signal in the gym so she couldn’t contact me.

Negative experience: Every winter without fail the showers are Cold due to boiler problems!! Not on!! Great gym otherwise

Jess 1 year ago

Positive experience: I was here on a course and only had 45 mins for lunch. The staff in the cafe told me the kitchen was closed during that 45 mins but nothing in the fridge was gluten free and I’m coeliac. I’d like to thank manager Ben and the lady from the kitchen for sorting this out for me it’s greatly appreciated. Thank you

hazza west 1 year ago

Negative experience: Absolutely filthy!! The gym, changing rooms and pool area are all a health hazard. The jacuzzi pool is vile and cold. The sauna is a good hot temperature but again filthy and old men go into it and start shaving which is gross. The gym has ok equipment but can get very busy at peak times. It is reasonably priced for what you get but the cleanliness needs to be addressed urgently!!!! I would pay the extra and go to David Lloyd or Nuffield health! However I am stuck in a 12 month contract.

Rohan Zain 1 year ago

Negative experience: Absolute rip off. They have been taking monthly payments and no let me use the facility’s. Once the issue had been resolved there was no reimbursement for the months of payments wasted. Disgraceful disaster to them and the whole team. Now I have cancelled with me and my family. Plus I will be telling all the people I know about how disgraceful I got treated here. Such a shame

F Xl 2 years ago

Negative experience: Overpriced for what it is. Tried to call them around 5 or 6 times to schedule a tour of the gym, the girls at the front desk answered the phone and never spoke (I could hear them having a chat and giggling) then they’d put the phone down. - the gym is very hot, no AC despite their “renovations” - staff are rude and ignore you when you do proceed to come up to the front desk, as they’re preoccupied having a chat - parking is difficult to find as it’s always far too overcrowded Go to The Gym Group down the road, much more accessible and it’s 24/7 (however no pool or spa facilities)

Stephen Colton 2 years ago

Negative experience: My son had his electric scooter stolen from Total Fitness Handforth and their response has been abysmal, couldn't have been less helpful if they tried. I'm still waiting for access to the CCTV a week later and have had zero contact from any member of staff despite having tried to contact the manager on more than one occasion.

Mimi Dandousha 2 years ago

Negative experience: There is a good variety of equipment. However, at around 7pm, it's absolutely boiling in there, the toilets are absolutely filthy and there are teenagers throwing things at each other and running around. Will try to come in the mornings instead when hopefully those things won't be an issue.

Kian Solati 2 years ago

Positive experience: Was a bit different to other gym group branches. I couldn't find any rope to do my battle rope workout. Instead they had more equipment for TRX workouts.

Max Hanson 2 years ago

Negative experience: For the price you pay for this gym the quality is very poor. The air conditioning is either broken or set to such a low level it’s permanently roasting in there. Equipment is past its best and appears to never be replaced and given the amount of space the gym has there isn’t much of the equipment that is wanted most (power racks, bench press area and freeweight dumbbells) but there are 2 separate sections with hydraulics weight machines that I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody use. Cable machines are almost permanently broken and classes are very limited given the cost. Would not recommend joining here as much better options in the area for a more reasonable price

Rob The Blob 2 years ago

Negative experience: One of the women on the staff in the cafe was very rude and ignorant. They were not welcoming and I hope I don’t see her again

Shabana Chaudhry 2 years ago

Positive experience: Gym and staff are fab. But I was in the hydro pool and someone stole my navy blue egyptian cotton bath towel and left their old torn ragged hand towel. Did not expect tramps and thives at this gym. My hair and body was soaking wet and the staff wouldn't loan me a towel given the circumstances. Really bad experience.

Donald Ferguson 2 years ago

Positive experience: Decent gym. Love the pool abs sauna

Jimmy Mul 2 years ago

Negative experience: Well well, well. Total Fitness Wilmslow, you have every opportunity to make this the best fitness centre in the UK, but consistently you fall flat on your face, invest in your facility, invest in new equipment and better servicing. Stop letting underage kids into your gyms. Could be something special, constantly disappointed with this place. Take a note of your new sub letters in the car park. Manifest a community, and you might win

Carl Nicholls 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Visited Harris and Ross who I have used and trusted for years. What they don't know isn't worth knowing

Pawel Galazka 2 years ago

Negative experience: The sauna it’s always cold the jacuzzi doesn’t work properly as one of the sensors doesn’t work for few months The steam room it’s not even a steam there The bank holiday opening hours it’s a joke Don’t recommend to anyone Pay such a price for thinks what doesn’t work …..

Andrew Penzer 2 years ago

Positive experience: I have been at this gym for just over a year. The only thing that really keeps me here is the spa area and my partner wants to stay for these facilities. While talking about the spa area though, the jacuzzi area has had jets that are broken from the day I joined and it’s in a popular area of the the jacuzzi and it would def be used if fixed. Gym equipment is constantly broken and takes forever to fix. They need more benches and free weights, especially more fixed barbells ie 17kg and 20s. I must add I have actually noticed this week they may be rectifying with extra benches and free weights by extending the free weights area. So tick in the box for that!! I have had to have cold showers on numerous occasions and the shower gels are constantly empty. I also feel that they need to have a section for people bringing their children in the changing rooms. Having kids running within inches of you while getting changed is slightly uncomfortable. While I understand it’s the parents allowing this to happen, the gym maybe needs to review this to make it more comfortable with people without children. My biggest gripe is the opening hours. I quite often have to miss out on workouts because by the time I am home from work there isn’t time before it closes. Closing at 9pm on a weekday (Fri) is a little bit ridiculous for a gym when people have a full working day generally. I do feel they could extend Fri through to Sunday by 1 hour a day and that would make a huge difference to users being able to use it. All in all it has the bones of a good gym but it seems a bit laxy dazy on maintenance and opening times are not great. And considering it is probably one of the most expensive gyms in this r area these points really need to be looked at.

Jamie Mc 2 years ago

Negative experience: Been on hold for an hour. Nobody’s that busy the phones are just ignored now until you give up , this being despite increasing membership fees to £64.00 per month . Constantly being told to refer to the app and they are experiencing a high volume of calls over and over again. What a joke for eg older people who aren’t great on the internet

Lisa H 2 years ago

Negative experience: Shocking customer service.I was just enquiring to the Wilmslow branch about swimming and memberships prices and the woman I spoke to put the phone down on me . I phoned backed to ask why she did this and she put the phone down again. I will not be taking out a family membership if this is my first ever enquiry with them. Disgusted. Apparently I went through to front of house and she didn’t no the prices. Never again

Fantastic experience: A very welcoming and comfortable place to let your stress out through work out and getting fit.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, none of the hair dryers in the men's locker room work well after the pool. I think it's been about 3 weeks now that the hair dryers are broken and they don't repair or replace them.

James Thomas 2 years ago

Negative experience: Over the years I have really enjoyed the gym facility there is a wide variety of equipment and it is in a great location. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. But it has been brought to my attention recently that there is a need for vast improvement in the sauna/steam/Jacuzzi facility. The Jacuzzi only half of it is currently working and it has been this way for approximately 6 months maybe more. The sauna/steam room has been on and off. When it is working it appears to be very weak. The shower area could do with a deep dive clean. I believe getting on top of the general maintenance/hygiene of this particular area would make a vast improvement to the overall experience.

Sean C 2 years ago

Negative experience: Went here as its the flagship gym and supposedly the best one of the lot. Only really went down to relax in the pool and whirlpool but had someone with special need screeching at me the whole time and splashing me! Eek eek eek splash splash splash Shouldn't be allowed in there sorry if that's controversial if can't behave we pay a lot of money for our membership e every month and if people can't act according don't go there!!! They don't allow kids in the whirlpool for that reason also Ended up being as relaxing as licking a car battery

Shaheen Hamdy 2 years ago

Positive experience: Agree with many of the comments below. Gym has lots of space and potential but equipment is ageing and the cross-trainers are ancient. Most of the time at least 2-3 pieces of cardiovascular equipment are out of order or don't work. I note some of the rowers have been replaced but some are pretty old, batteries aren't replaced quickly so the display doesn't work and on others the footplates are loose. Finally, on reception, while staff respond to queries effectively, could be more cheerful sometimes. WiFi in the gym can be hit and miss and phone signal isn't great (for EE anyway).

Adam M 2 years ago

Negative experience: This gym has so much potential to be better and for the price us members pay, it simply should be. I’m still here because the location is convenient for me and I like the sauna etc. Ways you can improve: - Improve the hygiene in the changing rooms, showers and toilets. - Too many teenagers wandering about, hogging equipment whilst sat on their phone. - Could do with some more mirrors - More benches - You need to hire a maintenance guy because one of the cables has been broken for about 2 weeks now, same thing happens all the time. - Some people leave their stuff overnight in lockers?? Stop this. - Upgrade or maintain old equipment. - Maybe improve the layout - If you could change the closing time to 11pm and a more later time on the weekend, that would be great - You NEED to have a separate family changing room. Because, I’m sorry but why are children having to see fully grown men walk around naked. - Hopefully this summer, the air con is fixed Conclusion - Gym’s slowly falling apart. It’s dying for some improvements, standards are dropping. Right now, I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Improve it please

Matt Stewart 2 years ago

Positive experience: Enjoy the facilities and it is a welcoming place but it is let down by not fixing broken equipment quickly enough. There is a recent tenancy to push classes into the gym areas that conflict with the atmosphere. Last year it was 5* from me... not the same this year....

Amy Worsley 2 years ago

Negative experience: Really poor customer service regarding guest passes. I am extremely unhappy with the way I was spoken to by the older lady at the reception desk. In my past experiences with bringing guests this has never been an issue but she made the process extremely awkward and I ended up leaving.

Jonathan Fox 2 years ago

Positive experience: Decent gym good sauna good facilities could do with a couple more benches icl its rammed at peak times

Lee Jones 2 years ago

Positive experience: Don't lock your bike up here, as bikes are stolen often. Area is covered by cctv, but useless police are not interested. Total fitness should provide something more secure. Changing rooms, showers, and gym equipment need improvement.

Ana Lisboa 2 years ago

Positive experience: Great gym with good facilities and large open space. Wide range of exercise machines and classes, indoor pools, hydro pool, sauna, sanarium, steam room and a women only section. It also has a bar with a broad variety of food products including protein shakes. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because sometimes the gym is too crowded and you have to wait for your turn to use certain machines as well as the spa/wellness area.

Ross Mooks 2 years ago

Positive experience: I've been a member for nearly 5 years. When I joined it was superb but standards have dropped recently. It seems to take an age for gym equipment and machinery to be fixed. It is also quite over crowded, not sure if there's a cap on membership but the gym floor and changing rooms are always packed. I can't get near the free weight section these days due to the influx of youths hogging equipment. Some days you'd do well to find a spare locker. Members see fit to own lockers and padlock them over night limiting the use for other paying members. Staff impose an amnesty but old habits are soon reinforced after and we are back to square one.

rab saleemi 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean facilities and the equipment is excellent, very happy to have joined. I will be trying out some classes next

Dave McMinn 2 years ago

Positive experience: Good facilities and you get a lot for your money. £60 a month is competitive with the facilities on offer compared to David Lloyd where you pay double for basically the same thing. Nice hydro pool and a very good humid sauna. Not as hot as the regular sauna and is more bearable. Will recommend this gym.

hannah smee 2 years ago

Negative experience: The space and breadth of facilities are great, nice cafe, good equipment and hydrotherapy pool etc. However, for the price there is a lot that could be improved on. Firstly the cleanliness of the place is awful, treadmills always full of sweat streaks and I'm afraid to put my jumper on the ground for it always gets full of dust. The women's toilets and showers need updating, and the temperature in the gym is always far too warm. I am member of TF and another gym, and the latter (a budget 24/7) is always cool and clean. We continue with TF due to the size of it and the option for swimming, it could be a fantastic gym, but I think they rely on being the only gym (except DL) which offers their range of facilities within the area. The opening hours are also not the best. Nevertheless, we've always found it welcoming, to have a great range of equipment, and the spa facilities (when warm and working) are great!

Charlotte Sugrue 3 years ago

Negative experience: Ignoring emails, no one answers the phone. Attempting to cancel my membership before renewal because I'm sick of too many under aged kids on the equipment sitting on their phones, overpriced and staff too busy chatting each other up at reception rather than helping waiting people

Colin Webb 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Huge gym with great facilities throughout. The staff are friendly, efficient, hardworking and helpful. Been a member for 15yrs so it must be doing something right.

Jones Jones 3 years ago

Negative experience: Overpriced. Better gyms in the area for far less money. Only good thing is the pool and steam room etc... If you want that kind of thing. Poor opening hours compared to others as well. Members are obnoxious and pompous. The whole place reeks of narcissism. From the staff to members, just not a nice environment. Not welcoming at all. The cafe is equally outrageously expensive. The equipment is good I'll give them that but given the gym floor space they could and should have more. Very disappointing.

Krisztián Pintér 3 years ago

Negative experience: Avoid these money grabbers, unless you like: -Constant class cancellations -Poorly maintained equipment -Overcrowded floor -Rude reception staff -Parking fines in the gym's own carpark

Joanna D 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Nice and clean. Much bigger than Altrincham and swimming pool definitely cleaner and not green like Altrincham club was many times...

Richard Kitchen 3 years ago

Negative experience: It feels like a business on the way out. Mens showers are basic, cold, and never any shampoo. The treadmills are absolutely terrible… after 5 minutes the touch screen stops working! It’s infuriating. The air-con is really rubbish in warmer months. I stay because it’s convenient. It is certainly not worth the money. I think there is one foam roller for the whole gym

Positive experience: Great facilities. As with any gym, have to time it right so you can get the equipment you need. Only drawbacks are that weights aren't always put back in a timely manner (e.g. I can spend 5-10 minutes searching) and the showers/changing are pretty basic. 4/5

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym,has everything you need ,my son goes here

Abdulilah Deiraniya 3 years ago

Negative experience: Two years ago, my decades long loyalty was rewarded on reaching age 80 with a nominal yearly susbscription. This was arbitrarily withdrawn, The first intimation was a questionnaire asking my opinion of the Club!. Only went for a swim once a month . use/year 12 hours , always renewed on receipt of reminder . This time , no reminder, just a request to fill a questionnaire as former member. Very low opinion of senior mangement of Total fitness . Total disloyalty , more like it. Facilities OK . Staff on premises fine. Management !! Addendum : On taking up the matter with James and Andy at Altrincham branch, they found that my membership was still current and I could renew at the concessionary rate for the over 80s. It seems management had not realised that I did not receive the customary invitation to renew, hence my failure to renew . Happy ending and re grading to FOUR STARs

Negative experience: I am happy member, but took my 17 year old for a visit 3 Sundays ago, with a view to joining. Never been before but told he could use the the equipment on his own. I said I considered it dangerous with no knowledge. The receptionist called for a fitness coach. My grandson waited for 20 minutes NOONE came. He used some machines himself and now going to join somewhere else that needs new members obviously Total Fitness don't.

Negative experience: Nice gym however the membership team are rude and extremely unhelpful.

Negative experience: Don't join this gym. Equipment is strewn absolutely everywhere. Trying to find matching dumb bell weights is impossible. Free weights are mis-matched, damaged and generally worn as are the weight benches. Place is always a mess and finding equipment is a nightmare.

Positive experience: I think the gym here is brilliant, there’s never any shortage of machines or equipment during my workouts and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I also think the variety of pools is fantastic, there’s something for everyone. I mark it down a star because the womens toilets are awful. The drains are very smelly and the toilets themselves are in bad condition. It needs a refresh / update. Also, the showers don’t always have hot water which happened today when my son and I had finished swimming. It would also be nice to see some kids clubs, I was told they were struggling to find staff hence why there wasn’t any but I’ve been here for almost a year and still nothing.

Negative experience: Will was very helpful with my re enrollment and reassuring. However The booking system seems random. I didn't expect a large group of adolescent boys to be hanging around in the swimming lane and then hogging the sauna . I was very apprehensive about returning after the pandemic. The pool and facilities were fine. I have paid to swim in peace at a time that suits me in a safe environment. The adolescent gangs are not what I signed up for.
