Fantastic experience: Staff are really helpful and friendly. The leisure centre offers excellent and clean facilities. I really like how they have changing rooms and showers for families, but they also have designated changing rooms for men and women. The swimming pools are good for all ages and capabilities. Plenty of parking on site as well.

Negative experience: Called the other day as I'm new to the area. Asked about the evening swim as I'd saw one for people with mobility issues online. Receptionist said "there's no swimming after 6pm". I replied "I'm sure I saw a disabled swim online" oh yes that's at 7pm Tuesday... Goodbye. I have literally just turned up with my carer for the swim to be told we can't go in as it's fully booked. I replied " I called the other day, explained I was new to the area and the receptionist didn't tell me I had to book." Wasted journey and effort. Shame. I was looking forward to some hydrotherapy.

Negative experience: Disgusted. Turned up for swimming with 2 excited kids and they turned us down as there was only 2 places left and we need to book online I’ve been here loads and never had to book! They need to sort it out let so many book so people who turn up have a chance.

Fantastic experience: Attended an event here, a lovely afternoon seeing the stalls and stands.Very interesting learning about Cannock chase and their wonderful community. Warm and welcoming I hope they have more of these events on- the 'trashion show' was wonderfully done!

Negative experience: I’m absolutely sick of calling and nobody is answering for me to join and get a induction, so Thursday finally after a week of calling, someone answered yippee I booked my induction for Saturday 20/01/2024 at 10am I arrived at 9.45 to be told I haven’t been booked in ow wat a surprise,

Fantastic experience: My daughter goes to swimming lesson here, they are very patient and keep her engaged. She really enjoys it and also gets to go to open swims for free because she is learning to swim with them.

Negative experience: Really pleased with the swimming lessons. Charlotte is very good and my kids are progressing well. However * Parents don't take shoes off meaning we are walking through dirt and mud to get to the pool. This goes through to the pool area, doesnt help to keep pool clean. * Showers really smell recently of urine * Clothes left in stalls instead using the many lockers. (They don't all lock but if you're happy leaving the clothed unattended in a stall they can be dumped in a locker)

Negative experience: Nobody ever answers the phone, no matter what time of day you call! It’s so frustrating! Both of my children’s swimming lessons have been cancelled at the time and day that they attended within the last few months; alternative days and times offered we cannot make.

Positive experience: Love the classes here, a great variety and really positive and energetic instructors. Not such a fan of the clientele who wear outdoor footwear around the pool changing rooms - the signage is big enough for people to notice, also, those who park in the parent and child spaces, please think of those of us crossing the car park with small children. There are plenty of spaces for all, park further away - get your steps in!!

Negative experience: Website has been down for days. Nobody EVER picks up the phone, changing rooms are always dirty on floor to the point it's a risk. One time the pool has sick in it but nobody changed the time table turned away. Time tables are bizarre when you actually want to swim most likely you can't. Aside from that it's a nice facility modern clean pool. But questionable management process. Happy to assist further if you need Chase leisure.

Positive experience: Comprehensive sports facility with plenty of parking. Just needs a bit of a refresh in a few areas, though the LED lights in the main hall were very welcome for photography.

Negative experience: Si far I've been waiting to get though for 20 minutes on the phone!!! Who has time for that.... I was trying to book a fun float session with my family.... No luck as I gave up we will go to a different pool....

Negative experience: Never answer the phones on reception and then tell you that you need to book. Waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Was really good. Changed so much since I went there as a kid

Negative experience: Was charged twice to use the gym facility, I paid my entry and sat downstairs to take an online meeting before going to the gym. After my meeting I headed to the car to grab my gym bag only to return and be told I couldn’t enter without paying again as I had left the facility.. for a whole 60 seconds… It’s a shame because the facility is nice and the gym staff are very friendly. Big let down to what would have otherwise been a positive experience.

Positive experience: Venue is clean, large and easy to navigate. Vending machines are a nightmare, cold drinks machine depositing the wrong drinks as it has a complicated delivery method.

Positive experience: Watched a gymnastics display team competition. Good view from seating. Centre clean and well signposted

Negative experience: Facilites may be good but i dont want to use them at the crack of dawn or late at night, lane swimming timetable is the most pointless of any pool ive ever visited.

Negative experience: Phoned twice! First time I was waiting 10 minutes before losing a signal. Second time, waited for someone to answer the phone for the last 15 minutes!! Hung up and phoned Burntwood leisure centre who answered straight away!!!

Fantastic experience: Loads of classes. Yoga, Pilates, aqua aerobics, swimming, football, cricket, netball, hockey, gym, and loads more. Very friendly staff.

Negative experience: I use this Leisure Centre for Swimming, myself and with my son. The floor is always very dirty, showers smell of urine and the changing rooms are terrible. I had to buy my son some protective shoes not to get some fungal infection. I have a feeling that there are always hair attached to my feet - disguisting. Additionally to the comment, I can never speak to someone on the phone. Yesterday waited about 10 minuted and eventually got disconnected - always one person at the reception. Get some protective shoes people when going swimming!!

Fantastic experience: A vast ammount of facilities good price very clean friendly staff machines well maintained and a good variety of classes

Positive experience: Only went for a big bounce session. The facilities seemed nice and clean, lots of toilets. The car park is big and spacious but can be difficult as no marked pedestrian routes.

Fantastic experience: Visited the roller disco, it's cash only and the activity leader is nice and friendly, totally recommended if you're looking for something different to do

Positive experience: My children love going here around a disco on a Friday. It’s great value and great exercise for them would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Doing aqua rehab - very hard to get through on the phone - 20 minutes being charged whilst on hold - had a response from the CCLC saying not charged whilst on hold - well you are charged on a mobile - plus sitting round waiting for a reply is ridiculous 20 mins on hold from 11.25 for 3 times . Just wanted to cancel so others could use the slot. Not a good response really- feedback is important

Fantastic experience: A fantastic modern leisure centre not long had a refurb, two excellent pools. The leisure centre also has coffee mornings where you can pop in have a coffee, biscuits make friends they are very big on mental health awareness and there's always a person available to chat. The coffee mornings are free and you don't need to be a member. The gym is fantastic, modern equipment a bright clean well lit gym, with plenty of equipment, friendly members who will say hi and have a chat. The gym team are amazing and always on hand for a chat and to help with nutrition advice aswell, they will put together a gym program for you designed on what you want, lose weight, bulk up or tone etc. Every member of the team is friendly and helpful. The classes are wide ranging from virtual classes to tutor run classes, cycle classes, body combat, pilates pretty much you name it they have it Pricing,if you work for the council (I work in a school) you get the corporate membership which is gym, swimming,sauna, all classes at a reduced cost I pay 26 a month. I've been a member for quite a few years and it's the best value for money in the area without a doubt.

Negative experience: Wanted to make use off the Sauna as well as swimming. However one session was far too short for even two quick 20 min sauna sessions with a few length of swimming. The staff did not let us in on time, no Lea way, as before one could “ stretch using a little time off a second session.

Positive experience: Went to a kids birthday party in the sports hall, very cold in there other than that it was good

Positive experience: Not a paying member but a visitor for a gymnastics competition. Cold drinks machine was out of order, no hot chocolate available in the hot drinks machine and the snack machine was 70% empty. They must have known there was going to be an influx of people here (at least 500) and didn't prepare, so plenty lost revenue for them i assume. I live in Cannock but a lot of the other gymnastics clubs were from all around the West Midlands and i fear some good impressions were lost there today.

Positive experience: Just went to watch my granddaughter swimming. She is learning very well under their tuition.

Positive experience: My son attends lessons here, which he very much enjoys. However the staff never ever answer the phone, it just rings out. They desperately need to invest in a new phone system.

Fantastic experience: Disabled parking is good and easy to access in a wheelchair. They have disabled swimming on Tuesday nights. There is a hoist and disabled changing room with everything needed. The staff have all been great Highly recommended

Negative experience: Reception are poor. No response to emails regarding venue hire. Call up and get given incorrect information. Have booked elsewhere.

Positive experience: The gym is good. The gym instructor I saw is very passionate about fitness and helping me reach my goals. The signage could be better. Also the website had incorrect details about the session time so my session was drastically cut short from an hour to 1/2 hour. Reception said they would correct the website, but I was dissatisfied.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff, very helpful. Booked Fun & Floats, great time. Shame main pool mainly focuses on lane swimming no good for kids to just go and splash about, maybe not much demand. Pool and changing rooms clean and tidy. Cheap activity.

Negative experience: Memberships are managed by a company who are very difficult to communicate with, very difficult to cancel with ridiculous charges, worst experience I’ve had dealing with any form of membership.

Negative experience: Never answer the phone. Put my sons name sons name down for swimming lessons its been almost a year and still heard nothing. Very poorly run leisure centre. Shame aswell because the facilities are great

Fantastic experience: Very nice place. Pity you have to book a visit 6 days in advance.

Positive experience: Gymnastic comp, hall was dingy lighting needs sorting. Updating the bulbs to LED when the plastic diffusers are yellow and cracked isn't worth it. Seats were threadbare but comfy enough, if you're not there for any great length of time ( I was, it was murder for anyone over 5ft6 and sitting longer than 1/2 hour). Carpark was big and plenty of space. Can't comment on other facilities but looks decent

Negative experience: Tried upwards of 30 times to tlmes to ring in to book for swimming at various points throughout the day no answer so went down there to be told it was fully booked my son was gutted. Useless if you ask me

Fantastic experience: Went for the skating and it was very friendly all 3 kids loved it now they are flat out asleep which is a bonus

Negative experience: Place is a shambles no one answers phones to book swimming and if they do you are having to leave it ringing for over 45 minutes until either someone answers or they cut you off absolute joke

Fantastic experience: My sons have swimming lessons every week. Changing rooms are clean. Occasionally the vending machines aren't working which they get disappointed by but I know that's not the centres responsibility. Temperature of the upstairs seating area can be unbearable at times, far too hot.

Negative experience: Why oh why does the receptionist have to take all the phone bookings as well as serving. 20 mins queue while they were on the phone. Why can't those people sitting in the office take the calls ? I won't be going again. My time is limited enough for my well-being classes. I only get half an hour by the time I'm served. Not impressed.

Fantastic experience: Only been to the gym at 8am till 9:15am. Not many in so machine availability isn't a problem. Gym is well stocked with both free weights & machines. Trainers are always on hand to answer any questions you have & to update your training program on the app if you need them to do it. Only downside is I like to swim after a work out but open swim is restricted due to school use. Otherwise great facility
