Positive experience: Had a great time. They've acted upon the previous reviews. There was a cleaner working throughout. The pool was warm and the showers were plentiful and hot. No complaints and a lovely well designed pool.

Negative experience: Shame the centre is cashless as I went there for a swim and forgot my debit card as was refused entry

Positive experience: I nearly didn't come here due to the negative reviews about changing rooms. However we arrived just before our allotted slot (Tuesday school holiday 10:50am) and I was pleasantly surprised that the changing rooms were perfectly acceptable. My 6 year old had an amazing time, although much of the pool was too deep for her so she was attached to me most of the time. The "slow" flume was plenty fast enough and we really enjoyed it. Taking away one star because this is a really busy pool and you really need one adult to one child full attention until either your child is a very confident swimmer or quite tall.

Fantastic experience: Great activity with Splash! Not to overcrowded on the slides. Areas around the pool and changing rooms are kept to a good standard.

Negative experience: Paid for 75 minuites & left within 20 minuites of being in the swimming pool. Stepped into thw pool & the water was cold, the hot tub water was luke warm so you're not even able to get warm, the shower water was more of a delight than the pool itself with it being a much hotter temperature. Even after trying to warm up by swimming around under the water & going around on the rapids the temperature of the whole swimming pool area was cold. Even in the childrens pool, my partner & child had to get out because they couldn't stop shivering, which led to us then using the showers to warm up. With it being autumn & the temperature getting colder you'd think they'd turn the pool heating on.

Fantastic experience: So much to do here. Great facilities for all age ranges. Spacious and well maintained. Lovely swimming pools with slides and other fun things. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: Our local pool in Worthing is awful, a quick 25 min drive to The Triangle is well worth it, great slides for the kids, indoor and outdoor pools, lots of parking, food and coffee, perfick!!

Negative experience: The hot tub in the health suite hasn't been working for 5 weeks. What's going on?!!!!!

Negative experience: Booked a badminton court and once I arrived I was told they had no rackets! Was disappointed with this especially as the lady at the desk didn't even try to locate some rackets for us. Luckily another woman behind the desk suggested we play pickle ball instead and lowered the net for us. This faff resulted in us wasting 15minutes of our booking and the slightly rude lady came in and told us we were 5mins over our slot and she needed the rackets back. Evidently she was willing to locate rackets for the next person that wanted some but not for us! Not sure if this was because we are younger individuals and she thought she could get away with us not complaining to her about it. Customer service was disappointing, will be going to the Dolphin next time I want to play badminton!

Positive experience: The centre has recently gone cashless which is a big shame and does not make the business accessible, even the coffee shop (Costa) is cashless. There is lots to do here, good swimming pool for fitness and for the kids. Changing facilities do get grimy with dirt, hair and litter. They have been getting worse recently, could be improved / cleaned more often.

Positive experience: Love the lazy rivers and outside pool (can be a bit cold at times). Great place the entertain kids with autism, mine find it quite calming, but can get a little loud from time to time

Fantastic experience: Great leisure center for the kids, a medium sized wall climbing area, large swimming area with 3 slides and an outside area, lockers and changing areas where clean. Reasonably priced for 8 people (3 adults 5 kids)

Fantastic experience: Great place for swimming. Pool and changing rooms are much cleaner than my local pool. Pool is warm too which is great for my toddler. Just wish you got a little longer on splash and play sessions.

Negative experience: Great pool but disgusting changing rooms. Whole complex is in desperate need of refurbishment.

Fantastic experience: We love it here. Annoying that they don't seem to update the website with news of the outdoor pool being closed! Booked twice only to be told on arrival that the outdoor pool was shut. You book tickets and don't get told. I did feed this back twice but nothing ever changed. However on our 3rd visit the outdoor pool was open but it was freezing so useless anyway! Apart from that, we love the slides and other bits there, and it's clean.

Fantastic experience: This is a great pool. We travel from Hastings to come here. One of the better ones about for kids.

Negative experience: Any business that removes the ability to pay with cash gets a 1 star! Stop trying to make money out of people and be more diverse and open toward all in the community. That aside, the pool had murky water in it, needs a clean and I’d also recommend the lifeguards actually do their job rather than checking their nails and chatting to each other!

Negative experience: Great pool, vile changing rooms. Unfortunately our very lovely swim session was overshadowed by the awful changing room and bathroom facilities. Hair, tissues, used nappies and even over spilling sanitary bins made this and unbearable experience for my son and I that bothe have sensory issues and because extremely overwhelmed with the smell of the toilets, the hair all over the changing room floors, the baby nappy bins in the changing rooms overflowing and every poo smeared up one of the changing room walls. I completely get that this is not just down to the cleaners but also the general public using the facilities. Gave 2 stars due to a lovely time in the pool with my son and what seemed to be a clean pool with a great amount to go for the children. Unfortunately if it doesn't change I won't be visiting again anytime soon!

Negative experience: 1) I am not happy about government council leisure centre going cash less 2) I found the leisure centre very un clean,a cleaner just walked out of a stall so we went in it and found hair and plasters everywhere 3) roof panels missing and broken 4) the pool was over crowded and my daughter wanted to swim and was told we had to pay extra to swim 5)I found the pool and it's staff completely unorganised 6)I think a lot of council pools have gone down hill due to under funding

Positive experience: Not bad, but could be bit more cleaner. Especially floor in changing rooms- or change the system.

Negative experience: Website is diabolical. Trying to book fun splash and slide swimming and keeps telling me the page isnt found. Then takes me back to a random site page. Then a different homepage and one that doesnt exist. Happens on mobile and ipad….. why have a bookings page that doesnt work???

Fantastic experience: Great pool for all ages. Recommend booking especially in school holidays as it was very busy. Changing rooms very clean and nice sized family changing rooms.

Positive experience: The Triangle leisure Burgess hill have become so unprofessional.My son attends lessons there every Wednesday. The lessons get cancelled without an E-mail or telephone notice to parents. Teacher Charlie in stage 5 goes on annual leave no temporary teacher put in place for the lesson or to inform parents. So inconsiderate and unprofessional team. I’m really annoyed about this.parents have work and other responsibilities to take care off they have to drive all the way to be told the lesson is cancelled .can management look into this!!!!

Positive experience: Nice pool but expensive compared to others

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this pool , has to whirlpools one that takes you out side the other inside !! Had two flumes a slow and a fast / two slides for smaller children ! Has a hot tub area and baby pools , has a water fountain, Large main pool And an out door swimming pool There is something for everyone

Positive experience: Great place to go with kids, although the pool (and shallower part) was colder than expected. Had to take 16month old out early as he was shivering!

Negative experience: Can't just pay and come in have to make an account and do it all on the app making the front counter staff useless what a waste of time

Positive experience: Was ok but I didn't realise you could only use the leisure pool rather than the main swimming pool. In my experience this is quite an unusual set up. I had been hoping to swim while my teens had fun but this was not possible - I also thought they let in too many people - it was very crowded.

Positive experience: Very dirty/ grubby.5 yr old Grandaughter loved it though

Negative experience: Extremely dirty floors with all sorts of detritus, hair and Discarded items of personal belongings. The poolside lifeguards areostly vigilant, but I did see one of them spending most of her time playing with her hair and picking bits out and dropping g them on the poolside floor. This is also a cashless system, so unless you go armed with your cards you can't get a drink, even from the vending machines (one of which was out of order and the only one that was working was practically empty. This experience was pleasant enough until I hit the changing rooms and tried to get a drink from the machines

Positive experience: More attention to the toilet facilities in the Health Suite. There was a blocked toilet which I reported three times over a week before anything was done. In the last cubicle the toilet is constantly running water from the cistern. These things just make it appear that noone cares.

Fantastic experience: My Son loves this place. A few kids only slides and a couple of flumes, 1 slow you can do with a little one and 1 fast that is meant to ride solo (but i rarely see people being told not to ride this as a pair as no one watches at the top to control this). It has 2 rapids sections, 1 indoor 1 outdoor. Especially enjoy the outdoor in the winter months and the cold is a fun contrast to the warmth of the pool. (Both could do with a little more power to make the flow a bit better but they are still fun for little ones). Kids area is large and seperated enough that it never feels crowded with both an area kids can walk and splash in as well and a deeper area for slightly older kids to play without worry. The jacuzzi pool is not really heated any differently so i feel that is a bit of a waste. They have a separate large excercise pool if parents go down together they could take a break and get some lengths in.

Negative experience: Was looking forward to bringing two of my clients, both autistic adults, somewhere different for a swim.we drove from Eastbourne. Both were refused their cash as card only. I paid on my card bug completely defeated the object of taking special needs out in the community to learn how to use money, add, subtract, interact etc etc. The social and educational tools they need to learn and the independence taken from them A real shame they are playing along with this insanity and segregating a whole community of people who only use cash

Positive experience: Fun for the kids and family fun for everyone they have rock climbing, swimming, slides, gyms swimming lessons and a kids play area

Positive experience: Went here for a sauna (and cold shower). Lovely experience, great facilities and good atmosphere. Little bit pricey as a one off, but would go again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent swimming pool with a range of slides. It can get busy but it's big enough to accommodate.

Negative experience: This place could be so perfect but the swimming pool let's it down so badly. The changing rooms are FILTHY with muck all over the floors and rubbish in all the cubicles. The pool is unbearably cold. Took my 5 year old and his lips were blue after 10 mins. Its hard to keep moving when you're there with a little one so you're just cold. Other parents were complaining too so I know it isn't just me thinking that. My son loves the pool so I would go there more often if it wasn't so dirty and cold. It makes it so unpleasant. There's just no excuse for it anymore. They need to get their act together.

Negative experience: This use to be our favourite place to come, we would travel a hour to use this pool. We have been trying to get slots to book swimming but no matter how often we looked they were all fully booked. This is such a shame, something needs to be done to stop bulk bookers

Positive experience: Attended an Athletics competition in the large sports hall. Great size hall, lots of seating. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Reception area was welcoming. Car park looks small on arrival but goes around the centre so there is more than you think!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome for family fun. We always have a great time when we go there. It's not the cleanest place, but it's not too bad if you're not too picky.

Positive experience: Great for the kids. Good size leisure pool with flumes, slides and rapids to have loads of fun. Good value for swimming. Easy to find, big carpark. A session is over an hour. Been a couple of times now.

Fantastic experience: There's a little bit of everything here and it's the place to go to get active and have some fun. It's nice and clean and with plenty of activities to choose from and easy parking outside. Love the triangle

Positive experience: The changing rooms need more cleaning when busy and the leisure / family pool also needs a deep clean. Still a fun day out for the kids and a few slides that aren't crazy but still fun.

Positive experience: It's a really good leisure pool, but the water for the babies is a bit too cold and also the website is not clear about the timetable, which is very confusing.

Fantastic experience: Love the triangle! Kids always ask to go here. So much fun in the dark in the outside lazy river! Staff were friendly. Costa is always full of people with their own lunches not leaving room for people who want to purchase a drink and food there. There isn’t any other seating though so no one’s fault.

Positive experience: Good for kids, four water slides, a lazy river type thing and a few other little extra bits. It was very busy when I went, some of the lockers and changing facilities are a little bit worn and the place isn't completely clean but nothing horrendous. All the staff were really friendly, even on a Saturday when the place was rammed.

Negative experience: Swimming pool review… If you like mouldy changing rooms, clumps of hair everywhere, general grubbiness, old plasters floating past you and useless lifeguards chasing after rampant teenagers then this place is great. Enjoy!

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre with great facilities and friendly staff. Plenty of parking, gym has been refreshed recently, great pools (indoor and outside) especially for kids and padel tennis too.

Fantastic experience: This is our new favourite pool and activity for a rainy Saturday or Sunday. The kids love it here, and the range of slides and little splash pool are perfect for small and big kids. The bigger slides are great fun for adults, too! The Costa is good for a post-swim drink, though it's a shame there's nowhere for a proper lunch.

Fantastic experience: We were apprehensive about taking the kids, but it was impressive: smiling, helpful desk staff, a clean changing area, only a few dropped wristbands bands, the water was warm, and the slides and walkways looked like they were cleaned regularly. The kids (5 & 8) loved it. We will go again. Well done to The Triangle Leisure Centre pool team!

Positive experience: Went for squash and the glass fronted courts are great. Plenty of light but the air con seemed to be kicking out more hot air than cool so was a bit of a sauna in there.

Negative experience: Great pool with fun slides but limited enjoyment due to extremely high levels of chlorine, so much so our eyes were stinging and the taste was disgusting!

Fantastic experience: Loads of parking, friendly staff, lots of changing rooms and the pool is warm and not overcrowded, with plenty to do.

Positive experience: The facilities are fantastic here, the pool is amazing and it’s got a great soft play area and rock climbing. However the staff at the check in desk are so rude, maybe they just didn’t like me but I asked if they sold inflatable balls and one of the ladies said very sternly: ‘we have whatever is on sale behind you.’ Then I asked another lady if I could book rock climbing and she said there’s nothing until 2pm. I said that’s fine but she added very rudely: ‘these things need to be booked in advance.’

Negative experience: I visited The Triangle yesterday to use their health facilities, mainly the sauna and steam room. On the website it says to just show up, no need to prebook. Upon arrival I was advised by the helpful person at the front desk that I must provide all my personal information in order to ‘check-in’. As I did not want to share this info I was advised I could not use the facilities. My mobile phone number, date of birth and home address are not relevant at all. It’s a leisure centre not a private members club. They should rename themselves to Places for people who are happy to provide their mothers maiden name and bank PIN code.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place. Swimming is great 10/10 Range of activities from swimming to climbing. There’s a gym also and much more. Costa after swimming or just anytime 100/10. Amazing place!! Keep it lemon triangle

Fantastic experience: The Triangle is good value for money for a slow day with the children. The flumes and outdoor lazy river make it a chance from the usual leisure centre experience without the high price of a big attraction.

Fantastic experience: This is my 8 year old daughter's favourite place to go swimming, there are some great slides and an outdoor rapids section. It's very reasonably priced as well. My daughter also loves the climbing walls.

Positive experience: Good leisure center.. having many sport options. I usually take Badminton, Table tennis, fun splash for kids. This has good booking process and well maintained except few places.

Positive experience: I use the Health Spa, under medical referral to try rehabilitate my right side following a stroke 3 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately it is located more than a mile and a half from home and I need public transport to reach it.

Positive experience: Great centre, the swimming pool and other facilities are great. It’s also a good place for children’s parties and you can have them in either the soft play area or with bouncy castles in the sports hall. I’ve marked it down to 4 stars because the website is terrible! It’s annoyingly hard to use until to get the knack of it and they don’t have waiting lists for the regular kids classes, so if you want to sign a kid up to swim or gymnastics it’s basically just luck if there’s a space when you ask, otherwise you just have to keep enquiring and hope.

Positive experience: Great fun splash pool with jets and sprinklers, 2 lazy rivers, 2 flumes and 2 simpler slides too. £1 for lockers. Great fun for all the family, we went with the grandparents who enjoyed the fun as well! Also an outdoor pool for those brave enough. Free parking too!

Positive experience: I love going to the Health Suite and the steam room, jacuzzi and a swim in the small pool. It's a friendly place. Sometimes the Health Suite facilities like the jacuzzi or steam room fail, but they get them sorted in a few days usually. They just refitted the sauna with new wood

Positive experience: Good leisure centre, very busy. Swimming is not an option though it just can't be done in the main pool

Fantastic experience: **Review of the triangle** I recently visited the triangle and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The facilities are top-notch, with clean and well-maintained equipment, spacious locker rooms, and a wide variety of activities to choose from. What truly set this visit apart was the exceptional customer service provided by James. From the moment I walked in, James greeted me with a warm smile and offered assistance with anything I needed. He went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I required. James’s knowledge and enthusiasm are unmatched. He took the time to explain the different amenities and even recommended a few classes that suited my interests perfectly. During my time there, he checked in regularly to make sure I was enjoying my visit and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. Thanks to James’s outstanding service, my visit to the triangle was an absolute pleasure. He truly made a difference and elevated the entire experience. I can’t recommend this leisure centre enough, and I’ll definitely be back soon, thanks in large part to James’s dedication and kindness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: Myself and my family do regular trips to visit the triangle swim centre, 25 miles each way, The staff on the entrance desk are very nice and helpful, but the cleanliness is disgusting in the changing rooms! Cleaners need sacking, my van floor is cleaner. The floors and surfaces are not acceptable it's rank! Wish I took pics to post!

Positive experience: Needs a refit in the gym, but it's getting it in September. Swimming I would like to do after work but can't as from mid afternoon to 8:15pm you can't book lane swimming. Every day during week except Tuesday. Which is not helpful. Gym is always quite full in evenings. Need more equipment.

Negative experience: The pool itself is nice and clean however, missing tiles, broken tiles and showers not working all let it down. It’s in need of some TLC! The staff are polite, however, the changing rooms are gross… dirty floors with mud and grit and staff walking around aimlessly with no one cleaning. Some of the locks not working on changing room doors, lockers missing keys. The ladies loos within the pool area are disgusting. The aroma of urine in the changing rooms just tops it off. Such a shame as the rapids and slides make a good time when entertaining the children during summer holidays. I remember when this was the place to take them.

Negative experience: As always, so super busy(school hols so what did I expect) but it was full to capacity. Not the cleanest and also there didn't seem to be much chlorine in the water, dread to think how much pee was in there for the water to taste salty... Also a general sense of grime every where! Don't go swimming unless you are desperate!

Positive experience: Changing areas need updating, mould around the walls by the toilets, and on the roof tiles. Great pool area for young children, life grads could do with keeping the teens out of the toddler area, almost knocked my children flying. Costa/cafe area too hot to seat needs a cool air flow, would have stayed longer if they did.
