Negative experience: The pool is shabby and cheap looking and definitely has seen better times. Rust everywhere and it didnt feel clean either. As usual in the UK people walk around in their outdoor shoes and jump into the pool without showering. Disgusting.
Positive experience: It's ok. Bit tired but was a no frills swim with the kid and she was happy enough. Reflective of the price so that's fair enough. Staff where nice enough.

Positive experience: Gym review. Lovely staff. Clean place. Good hygiene measures in place to keep everything sanitary. For weight lifting the equipment is severely lacking (no dumbells over 12kg, no bench press, nothing for pull ups, no squat rack, no barbells, few machines) BUT you can still get a good workout. Great for beginners looking for a no pressure, unintimidating gym to start lifting in.

Hi Alan, sorry you feel that way. £1.4 million was invested by Fife Council in our venue, please see list of works completed. A more spacious gym almost double the size, a new dedicated fitness studio space. Upgraded toilets, reception area and decoration to corridors, disabled access improvements, offering a fully compliant accessible changing room, and, refurbishment of wet and dry changing areas, including showers.
Positive experience: Needs updating as showing signs of age. 35years old now

Negative experience: It has happened to me three times. On Google, there is information that the Centre is open. I came from Kinross to find out that it was close. There is no information on the website and at the front of the centre about the correct opening hours.
Hi Marcin, sorry you had a wasted journey. We always close over the festive period. The opening information was on posters in the building from 1st of December, it was sent to all customers via email. Fantastic experience: It's a good pool. Fun water shoot and good wave session when on. The river section is small but the kids love it.

Negative experience: The pool itself was fine although cold, Decent changing room spaces & very clean with polite staff… The flume/slide/ shoot however was not nice.. Every join in the plastic is felt like being nipped in the back about 50 times.. Not fun…

Positive experience: Great prices, great staff this would of been 5 but got to say damn the water is a bit on the cooler side. The gym is fantastic, equipped with a machine for every need, the trainers are happy to help with getting a better technique.

Negative experience: As a family we have visited twice in the past 2 and a half weeks with my 2 year old daughter. On the first occasion my MIL and partner visited with my daughter. The next day my daughter had conjunctivitis so badly she could hardly open her eyes for the next 4 days. After treatment from doctor she got back to normal. We put it down to maybe someone at nursery gave her it. Fast forward 10 days later, and no symptoms, myself and my partner visited again with my daughter. Not only did my daughter get conjunctivitis again as did myself and my partner. In my whole life I have never experience any eye issues like this. After calling to inform the management, leaving my name and number for a call back I have had nothing returned. I am deeply concerned for the quality of the water in this establishment and will not be back. There are all types of people who visit this pool, vulnerable and not. I would think they would have taken an issue like this more seriously.

Positive experience: Went today and once again the steam room is out of order however stayed and had a swim with my kids, this in itself is a problem as there is only one hook to hang clothes on in a family cubicle.

Positive experience: Took our grandchildren . They loved it! They especially liked the wave machine and flume . Down side was the changing area had pools of muddy water on the floors. Nobody seemed to be mopping the floors! Not pleasant.
Hi Barbara, we pride ourselves on our high levels of hygine. On this occasion this does not seem to have been met, please accept our apologises for this. Our staff clean areas at regular intervals, however if you do sport anything that is not quite right again, please bring this to the attention of a member of staff and this will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Negative experience: The girl on reception was lovely and helpful. The swimming pool is becoming very old and run down. Whilst showering there was a worm crawling up the wall which really put us off. We told a member of staff who removed it, however we found a couple more in the changing room area on the floor. Not sure why or where they would be coming from but just ugh, super super gross!!!

Positive experience: Took the wee ones last week age 9,6,2 perfect for them! Great changing room and really good showers Kids want to go back, so a hit with them. It was a bit dated, but it's one of the old pools around. But we will go back for sure.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend this pool for those with little ones (especially if they can't swim yet). The hot tub waterfall warms the beach area and a great way to gradually introduce kids to the water. Staff are really friendly too and let my son borrow a toy now and again to take into the pool with him.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool for families and younger children, has a decent sized carpark Gym facilities, sports hall. Has disabled parking and access ramps for wheelchair users and prams. Swimming pool has wheelchair facilities for access and a hoist.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always super helpful and place is always clean. My only small complaint and it's quite trivial, but i wish the showers at the swimming stayed on for more than 4 seconds (yes i timed it lol) after pressing the button its quite frustrating!

Fantastic experience: So good to get back in the pool. Even with the Covid guidlance i felt quite comfortable being there. The receptionist is so nice, friendly and very helpful. It is lane swimming for the moment but im happy with that. The changing rooms and showers are spaced out as to keep social distant. It was quite busy in the early morning but eased of around 9am. Looking forward to my next swim.

This information was added to our website and our social media pages. This information highlighted that we would be closed 24th December to 4th January. May we ask where you saw information that said we were open during these periods?

Unfortunately like any other swimming pool, we are susceptible to unplanned closures from time to time, this is something that is out with out control. These closures periods are necessary to ensure safe and clean water levels. We put this information on our website and Facebook page as soon as we can to try to limit wasted customer journeys.

This included a gym extension, a new dedicated aerobics studio and improved disabled access. Unfortunately the budget required to redesign the swimming pool area would far surpass this investment. Although we will pass on your feedback and suggestion.
