Negative experience: Pool is still murky after telling staff 3 weeks ago!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for some years now! I only use the pool area due to ill health. I have never had any problems with staff ,I will continue for as long as I am able.

Fantastic experience: Great gym Lots of steady improvements . Friendly clients. Staff fantastic including pt . I dont really attend the classes but hear good remarks . Gareth manager and all his team do a great job of keeping it a pleasure to go . Felt I should leave a review as improvements are so noticeable and appreciated. .and give credit when it's due . I also think it's great value.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, now refurbished with new equipment. Excellent weights room separate to main gym. Really spacious and well equipped class gym upstairs separated for Classes. Nice swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room Personal trainers available as well. I wouldn’t go anywhere else locally. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Nice staff, up to date machines, weight room, plenty of workout machines, personal trainer, small pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, has everything you need all under one roof. Has classes too

Negative experience: Is the sauna already fixed? I don't know if you've noticed, but this sauna has never worked as it should. Please, management of this company, take care of your clients and provide us with a hot sauna....

Positive experience: Good range of equipment. Friendly staff, spacious. Only criticism is that the sauna and steam room are dirty and could do with a good clean.

Positive experience: I mainly use the pool and it can be a challenge finding space between people walking up and down the pool.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place ❤️, I've been coming for a long time now and it's such a cool place , it's makes you feel alive and it's great for your mind aswell as your body , the staff are lovely and I can't imagine a nicer gym to come and exercise and relax, I recommend this place to anyone who wants escapism and to better them selfs

Negative experience: Nice gym, good equipment, but some clientele leave a lot to be desired. Vaping in the changing rooms and effing and jeffing whilst I'm there with my 10 year old at his swimming lesson.

Negative experience: It's a good gym, great equipment and pool resources but they bend you over backwards with joining fee's and maintenance fee's + inflation prices.

Positive experience: Went for a trail, the pool was slightly small so I was unable to get a good swim. The staff was very polite and jolly.

Positive experience: Pool area lovely and dimly lit so calming area, felt it needs a good clean though, floors etc. Too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, everyone was saying same. Gym area really good

Negative experience: Why does it close at 8pm on a Friday and not open until 9am on a weekend? Absolutely rubbish. Some people don't want to go out on a Friday night and want to hit the gym. Some people want to get the gym done and dusted before the day begins at the weekend. Change your times please!! Also, fix the sauna. It's broke and the temperature doesn't rise.

Positive experience: Realy nice looking place. No pressure to join today, just a good walk n look round. Will probably join soon.

Positive experience: It's a nice gym just small compared to leyland. So if you're local and don't have any options, great. The pool is 1.2meters Very box room sauna (which wasn't hot ‍♀️) steam was on tho but didn't have an inside handle so ppl were giving tips of how to close it lol. Very typical, small, circle jacuzzi basically a confined space (I wasn't ready, and I don't mean the Coco Virus ready. No, just being on top of each other. Nice staff and it seems clean. Better showers than leyland AND controlled excess hair in this gyms floors in the ladies is way better, but I went at after 7pm

Positive experience: Decent gym people are nice in there staff are friendly and nice But the music they play is terrible Love songs and ballads on the speakers almost kills your workouts

Negative experience: Such a poorly run business. Stay clear of this place.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Gym Etc for many years. It is a great friendly environment and all Covid measures are in place. It has been a life saver over the last nine months!!

Negative experience: Cheap for what's on offer, could be a fantastic gym but something REALLY needs to be done about cleanliness, especially pool & changing rooms!!!! Sometimes a little too overcrowded too. Could also do with somewhere to get water from in gym!

Positive experience: just rejoined and staff still friendly and helpful. My only negative is that the pool looks dirty, not the water, just the tiling and windows which when going into the pool is a bit off putting. Is it ever cleaned? Also, noticed guy in jacuzzi with his phone. I don’t like that he could be taking pictures. It’s creepy. Do you have to play pool cam in refreshment area?

Negative experience: (January, 2019) Visited again the Gym etc in Poulton le Fylde at 9:30 am, pool empty (nice), but not nice, pool full of debris which I had to collect myself to swim. Contents hair plus fluff from floor and plastic bits. Staff came in to find out what I was doing, I said that I found in the pool and I had to clear to swim, no reaction from the 4 member of staff of reception desk, apparently doing nothing. Management don't seem to care about service in this gym. (November, 2018)The Gym etc in Poulton-le-Fylde provides a very poor customer service in my opinion. The pool is mostly occupied by classes, leaving the pool unavailable for those that just wish to swim during most daytime hours. Today was a very interesting experience, before the ladies class in the pool on Monday morning, most of the members arrived about 15/20 min before time, got into the pool and instead of swimming were standing and talking in the middle of the pool. If ladies wish to talk I strongly recommend a café, hairdresser or a shopping centre. Also I would like to find out why in the 21st century Gymect’s members must bring their own padlock? One of the employees explained that it was always like that in the 15 years she had been working there. Perhaps it is a time to change some bad habits and to fix the locker doors in the changing room as well. The last problem is poor hygiene. The smell of urine in the pool’s showers and general dirt make this place unrelaxing

Positive experience: Bit worn and ready for a refurb of the pool area, things are often out of service. Also needs a good scrub. The gym area is better. Not been to any classes. Pool is small and gets busy easily.
