Negative experience: Worst gym in Bridgwater yet somehow one of the more expensive! It’s so small with limited equipment. The Taunton and Weston pure gyms are for better, at a lower cost and you get more for you money!

We are a small-box gym and therefore have utilised multi-purpose kit to help conserve space. With regards to price, the gym in competeitvely priced with other 24-hour gym facilities in the area. Positive experience: This is my home gym and bounce between here and the Weston-super-Mare branch weekly. When comparing the two locations the WsM is far superior in size and facilities unfortunately. Also considering Bridgwater is a smaller gym with way less equipment it's nearly £10 PM more than the membership for the WsM branch. This gym is very busy at peak times so I would suggest using the app to plan the best time to visit. When I have spoken to staff they are friendly also other gym members are friendly and respectful. This gym is in a convenient location for me and is great thay you can go 24/7. Overall happy with this gym, but like WsM slightly more, only reason for 4 star is due to the pricing structure based off the population of the town, I believe it should be based off the facilties available.

Positive experience: Only been once, so I still need a few sessions to give an overall review. Key code system was ok once downloaded app. No one to speak to on reception, seems all concerns are dealt with online. There was instructors but taking classes, so there was no induction, so familiar with gym systems, so I took myself on a personal tour. Found and used lockers, ample space for a full gym bag, bring your own padlock, fits a moderate sized lock.. When busy it's finding a slot to use gym equipment when someone else has finished, seeing a culture of using phones a lot whilst sitting and waiting, I'm more of a get in and get out person. I'd ban phones full stop...... Showers were OK people need to be mindful of cleaning up after themselves. There was either mangled hair or loose cotton on the entrance to the shower, and also phlegm in the middle so had to turn shower on and use the windowscreen blade utensil to scrape it down the drain.. not sure on the cleaning arrangements within the facility. There are signs for users to keep it clean and hygienic but maybe other users need training on manners and hygiene. Other than that I managed to finish my workout, On another note I'm about to inquire about my membership as when I signed up and the offer it gave me for this area was approx £5 cheaper back home for the same sort.of gym, so I can use other gyms etc and have my partner come with me x4 a month.. so check price comparison for your area to other areas..

Negative experience: Came here for a little workout. About 5 minutes in, some don comes up to me with a shaver. Yknow what he does? Messes up my trim. I liked the gym tho

Negative experience: This gym is going wrong lately. The temperature on the shower water is very low and there is no ventilation on the showers. is it legal in UK for a gym not have ventilation in showers and toilets?

Positive experience: Not great, small and always busy with limited equipment. Never has enough plates at the squat rack, only go here because its conveniently close to me. Also quite expensive and can get cheaper memberships in cities like London as opposed to the small town of Bridgwater

Positive experience: Okay gym, good to get a workout in. Smaller than my home PureGym so costs more & I have to upgrade my membership. Not sure why it’s more expensive here as it’s smaller and less equipment. I now pay £35.99 a month which as a student is quite the mark up.

Positive experience: It has a good selection of equipment unfortunately trying to get to anything Is a challenge as this place is extremely busy. I sometimes go at half 4 in the morning and it is still busy, around 6pm is a nightmare

Positive experience: It’s a fairly good gym. Only issues are: busy and doesn’t have a huge range of equipment. Everything else is nice. I’ve not experienced any staff, because they’re never there when I am, so I can’t say if they are any good. I wish they had a bigger space, as I’d love to go there more often, but I choose not to go some days because I know it will be packed.

Positive experience: This gym costs more than the PureGym I used to attend before i moved. This gym is also smaller, equipment is crowded and the showers are always filthy. This really puts me off, currently looking at alternative gyms. I fully understand the gym is busy at certain times but for that reason the showers/toilets need more regular cleaning.

Negative experience: 2/5 gym Minimum equipment which means it always feels crowded even when 20 people are in Furthermore, it gets smelly which makes me doubt the ventilation is even functioning. Disappointing and bad representation for the brand for which you pay the same price for all gyms but some are better than other.

Fantastic experience: I really liked the gym. And the staff were very polite and kind. The only thing that really annoyed me the most were some gym goers that would not only hog the equipment, but would litter the place. So I gave up going to the gym as it was causing me a lot of anxiety and anger

Negative experience: Too many junkies in there. Says its PUREgym... the only thing in there is the PURE amount of steroids being used and sold on site.

Negative experience: Equipments take long time to be repaired, leg extension/curl machine has been broken down for more than a month. Otherwise it’s a pretty good clean gym

Negative experience: Tiny space, no room to workout once there's more than 10/15 people in there. Limited amount of machines crammed in to a such a small unit. Wouldn't recommend.

Positive experience: Tidy gym with enough equipment to have a good session. It's pretty small so be prepared to wait for things or edit your workout if its busy. This gym isn't included on with the plus membership when I popped over from Weston to train with a friend so make sure to have a look if doing a similar thing

Positive experience: Nice but very small, not enough equipment and the changing rooms are like nothing I've seen before in any other Puregym so far, just two very, very small individual cabins separate from the showers which have the wc built in.

Positive experience: Good but small gym in comparison to other Pure Gyms it has a variety of equipment and machines, can be busy during peak times but quiet in the late evenings, basic but sufficient toilet and changing facilities and a studio and upstairs yoga / matted area A few more machines and the special water other pure gyms have would be great and a few bits of equipment but does everything you need it to on a budget

Negative experience: The place is tiny and always rammed full because of the nuclear power plants getting built near by

Fantastic experience: Smaller than most puregyms I'm used to go to but very well organised and members of staff are very friendly and helpful, a very clean and busy gym I find it to be a good choice for me, I'm not a fussy person and don't train as hard as many people do, with that being said if you are a well educated person in fitness, I think you will find that they have everything you need, you just need to plan ahead as is always busy, hope that helps. Positive experience: I’m here visiting family and found out they have a puregym I was so happy! It wasn’t too busy I was able to go on everything. The only thing is they don’t have any windows, sadly you can’t do anything about that but that’s the only downside!

Positive experience: I would rate 5* if it wasn't for how packed it is. It's a shame because I love PureGym in general, however this one is just too busy. I'm slightly restricted in the times I can go around work, but most days from around 4pm until 9pm it's very busy, and while the machines/weights are good quality and in decent nick, there aren't two of each machine or suitable alternatives so if a machine you need is being used, you have to wait ♂️ Besides that, staff are friendly and helpful and it being 24hr is a bonus.

Be aware that when the restrictions are lifted we will gradually be reducing the distancing between machines and those gyms which have had to have some equipment removed will be getting it placed back into the gym. Negative experience: The same old issue, downstairs toilet always flooded, smell by the lockers is unbearable. You almost never see any pt and it's always extremely busy. On a plus side equipment is good.
Staff do regular cleaning checks in the gym and we have dedicated cleaning teams who come each dayto carry out. Of course, during peak times it can be difficult for us to compete all cleaning routines, however as soon as it is possible our staff will complete all procedures and checks. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please speak with your Gym Manager.
Positive experience: Great place, great price, 24h opening time. the only thing that is missing up there is a punch bag for me ;)

Fantastic experience: 2 weeks in and wishing I discovered PureGym a long time ago. WOW, the team, the equipment, the classes and the App! The whole experience has been incredible and I can’t ever imagine not being part of this now that I’ve found it. Would recommend to anyone as however busy you are, with so many classes across the days and evenings and 24 hour access, anyone can find the time.
