Positive experience: The food is nice but it can be pretty slow, the pool area is always a bit too cold to be a nice place to spend time in.

Fantastic experience: Country location, great facilities, plenty of classes. Still experiencing what is available.

Fantastic experience: Stayed at the hotel and thought the spa was very good. The changing rooms are clean, there are plenty of good sized towels, the pool is good, and clean. Both the sauna and the steam room were good. The best bit was a truly superb aromatherapy massage given by Veta. My wife was also very impressed with her reflexology but unfortunately didn't get the therapists name. We enjoy the hotel and the spa and hope to return.

Negative experience: AVOID – SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE! We booked the ‘Goodwood Spa Day’ for our best friends hen do. The spa day cost £170 – advertised that you can ‘enjoy the best of Goodwood Health & Wellbeing for THE DAY’ and ‘we've got everything you need to REST and RESTORE.’. We booked a Sunday spa day to finish off the hen weekend with a RELAXING day at a posh spa! We were told in advanced that children swimming lessons would be on that day from 10:00 – 12:00. Knowing this we were happy to book and we purposely booked our treatment for the morning session so we could then have lunch and enjoy the afternoon in the spa area to ‘rest and restore’.. 24 hours before the spa day and outside of their cancellation period (of course) we were told children swimming lessons were on from 9am – 5pm!! THE WHOLE DAY!! This meant that no matter what time you went into the pool area there were parents sat watching their children on the sunbeds, children shouting and running around, the pool was taken over by lessons only leaving a small area for lengths, parents sitting by the side of the pool in groups chatting or on their phones, and generally it was a very unrelaxing and uninviting atmosphere. When we got to the spa we were supposed to get free sparkling wine on arrival. This never happened. The package came with access to Goodwood Parkland, that was closed on the day of our visit. When we spoke to reception about the swimming lessons and what we had been told the lady was so rude, unbothered and said ‘well I don’t know why you were told they finished at 12:00 because they don’t’ no apology, no glass of wine to soften the blow NOTHING. She could not of cared less. The package included a ‘Wellbeing face & body infusion’ treatment valued at £110, which was lovely. The therapists were all SO lovely and thankfully for them each of us got to enjoy 1 hour of the horrific day. Effectively we paid £60pp to walk into the pool area and after 10 mins of not being able to enjoy the facilities or even hear each other speak we left. Having now emailed Goodwood to discuss the day we were offered a complimentary weekday visit to the pool facilities, one guest comes from Southampton and comes one from London so it wouldn’t work for us and the spa day was booked for our friends hen do – it was meant to be special, the spa knew this, so a weekday visit to the pool doesn’t change the terrible disappointing ending to the hen weekend. When we declined the weekday pool visit we were offered a £20pp refund – Im not sure how Goodwood think £40pp to sit for 10 mins in a crowed loud pool area is acceptable. We have no issue with children and it was not their fault at all, had we known lessons were all day we would not have booked. We would of booked a cheaper spa day, we pushed the boat out ad booked an expensive spa day to make it special for the bride to be! This was not the vibe we were sold by the spa nor the vibe I think most people would be after for a way to rest and restore! Its now 9 weeks later and we are yet to receive the £20pp refund.. Shocking customer care, shocking service on the day from some staff and very disappointing from Goodwood.

Fantastic experience: Staff are lovely and my mother absolutely adores the facilities here (she's the member )the only gripe I have is the outside for a posh place looks incredibly tired and really needs some decent maintenance, a bit of wood stain and new wooden panels wouldn't go a miss

Fantastic experience: Came to have a facial and pedicure today. Hannah was lovely the treatment was amazing my face looks so much better after it. Feet are pretty . Spa was peaceful and quiet, staff lovely great to see my friend Tara is a manager there now bonus !☺️ reception meet and greet always friendly love this place. Thank you everyone.

Negative experience: I joined in February this year, and I'm disappointed with the facility's general hygiene. The pool, sauna areas, and changing rooms are poorly maintained. The jacuzzi is one of the worst I've experienced—it's poor performing relative to modern standards, small and often overcrowded. Additionally, the child policy is poorly managed and overpriced. Many of my friends with kids have stopped attending, and we're choosing other venues instead. The recent membership price increase is unacceptable given the lack of value. If the money were reinvested into improving the facilities, such as maintaining a clean environment and upgrading the jacuzzi, it might be justified. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. The gym equipment is also inadequate, lacking essential items like a bench press and squat rack, forcing me to go elsewhere for a decent workout.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing place! We had an exceptional lunch which was great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

Positive experience: Recently joined the Goodwood health club as a member. Love the facilities and the classes. The only thing is the kids times in the pool - it can become a bit crowded with children and no swimming lane for everyone else. Can be a bit disappointing when you arrive to not be able to swim

Fantastic experience: The massage here is my partner’s favourite from any spa she has been to. The gym is nicely equipped and clean. The swimming pool provides a nice relaxing space and the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were all very good as well.

Negative experience: Main spa area less than relaxing, to loud, to busy, pool being used for classes. Expected more from goodwood….

Negative experience: Noisy air system in the pool. Makes relaxing there impossible. Unbearably hot in the pool with no air circulation

Negative experience: Today I handed back my membership. In the men’s changing room was a father with his 3 and appx 7 year old daughters. I asked him to move to the family section but he refused. I told him I was unhappy having to share the changing room with his daughters. Several other members in the changing room at the time sided with the father. I will not be a member of a club that allows this sort of behaviour.

Negative experience: Unprofessional and unorganised. Faffed around multiple times calling me to ask if the treatment can be moved. Saying the treatment specialist is not in and calling up to check on our appointment only to find the first time round it was not even booked in the calendar! Just had a call to cancel my wife's mother's day present because the therapist is sick. Don't bother with Goodwood Spa, totally useless.

Fantastic experience: My first time visiting Goodwood Health Club Spa as a guest was an excellent experience, thanks to Katie in the treatment rooms. I had a full body massage with hot stones which was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Katie is highly skilled and has a welcoming, warm personality. She’s a natural healer without a doubt. Huge thanks.

Positive experience: Unfortunately the swimming pool is dirty aound the edge with missing tiles. The new pool timetable includes very little adult only time during the day which means if you need some quiet time in the spa pool, sauna or steam room there is none. The classes at the sculpture park are excellent.

Fantastic experience: We’ve just joined and the club has had a very recent refurb. It’s beautiful in the restaurant bar. Friendly staff, everything accessible, spotlessly clean and you really feel like you’re having a special experience-even just going for a swim. I’d recommend anyone to ask to look around and see what you get for your money. The fact that Kennels membership comes within our health club membership is a plus. Beautiful dog walks, and stop for a drink afterwards. It really makes us so grateful to have facilities like this on our doorstep. Well done Goodwood we are so glad we’ve joined.

Positive experience: Spa treatments are lovely and staff are attentive however was disappointed with the rest of the trip. Treated for a joint birthday occasion expected a little more than what we got considering the reputation of Goodwood as a whole. During our time before the treatment we were allowed free reign of the facilities however were not expecting children swimming lessons to be all day on a Sunday when we had paid for full use of everything as part of the spa package meaning we couldn’t use the pool; and meant our time pre treatments was less than relaxing. After our spa treatments we went to the sports bar & grill which was more than disappointing. The food is outrageously average and £11 for a sandwich that could be knocked up at home in less than 5 minutes with a loaf of Hovis seems unfair and completely unlike Goodwood as a brand. Puddings were very obviously bought in from a wholesalers and burnt. Overall, if you are going for the location and spa treatments it can be recommended, but for food would absolutely avoid.

Positive experience: Part of Goodwood estate. Main health club has good sized pool with sauna, steam room, spa pool, small but well equipped gym, exercise rooms/space and treatment rooms (The Waterbeach) all attached to grill, hotel, and restaurant. In grounds are tennis courts and golf course. Separately at a different site there are further exercise rooms for classes. Good area for walks up onto the south downs

Positive experience: From checking out the website or pulling up and seeing the millions of pounds worth of motors in the car park you could be fooled into thinking the Goodwood Health Club holds a form of prestige over other similar facilities, You would be very much mistaken. Entering the reception area is pleasant and the staff on the desk are usually friendly and welcoming however, sadly this is where the line is drawn. Walking down to the changing room's if you take a look around you soon start to realise this place is in dire need of refurbishment. The walls are filthy to say the least from what I can only assume years of people running their hands and all sorts across them. Moving into the men's changing is no improvement. Many of the lockers are broken and simply dont lock, large patches of damp visible in various places and I cannot even understand how long it takes for the towel bins to be literally over flowing onto the floor every day I enter. Surely you would assume that this would be someone's job to maintain and clear this? Now onto the showers where this place really starts to show its deterioration. Every shower has a shelf and a tower rail. Some of which are hanging on for dear life and all which are so badly covered in rust I cannot see what use they would serve. The controls for the shower are poorly made plastic so the paint is peeling from them which matches the shower head nicely which is also in the same state. To top it off there has been a bulb out in one of the showers now for nearly two weeks but doesn't look like that's getting replaced any time soon. The gym facility itself isn't too bad, The equipment is very worn and tired and could do with replacing however it does the job. There is a good range of machines however it would be nice to have some bar weights. The pool and spa facility's on the couple of times I used them have been fine but nothing to justify the membership cost. And that is where I would summarise, for a health club charging £70+ a month the Goodwood Health Club offers awful value for money. Would I recommend? Definitely not. Seems like some may just come here to be able to say " I go to Goodwood Health Club " I however will be looking elsewhere. UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2022: After promises from the health club management the facility's have finally seen a revamp. The showers have been replaced and all the rusty fittings removed. The lockers have also had the lock replaced so you can now use your card to open and close them. The gym has also seen a improvement with some new and updated equipment. Steam room is also been revamped soon. Facilities are now more in line as what should be expected at Goodwood.

Fantastic experience: Great experience went for a brow wax and tint. Lady who did my appointment explained that my skin was drier than anything she had seen. Advised certain products to help me, didn't buy them on the day but brought them afterwards and have never looked back since.

Positive experience: Not quite as impressed as I had hoped to be. Had a guest pass for a week and so made the most of it. Changing rooms sometimes weren't up to standard....towel bins over flowing. On the Saturday it was busier with, presumably, hotel guests and children under 12 were using the steam room and jacuzzi, with no supervision. But the best bit....not only was I not asked what I had thought of my trial week (missed opportunity Goodwood) but on my last day when I swapped my guest pass for the key card, I was asked to leave my car keys so I didn't keep the key card and try to get in for another day!! Shocking.

Negative experience: Not a week goes past when something is not working properly
