Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This leisure center has gone completely downhill, and it's shocking how poorly it's run. Let’s start with the staff—most of them look like they just rolled out of bed, dressed like homeless tramps with no sense of professionalism whatsoever. It’s clear that management sets zero examples for the team. The lifeguards? They seem more interested in socializing with each other than actually doing their job. It’s like they’re in their own little social clubs, and it often takes three of them to mop a floor—one actually doing the work while the other two just stand around chatting. It’s beyond ridiculous. Then there’s the constant, loud flirting between staff members. They act like they're at a nightclub, not a place of work. It’s embarrassing to watch and makes the whole atmosphere feel unprofessional and chaotic. To top it off, people can be seen smoking right outside, and the managers are nowhere to be found when you actually need them. The place is dirty, too—especially the changing rooms, which are filthy and full of naked old men just wandering around. No staff to enforce any kind of order or cleanliness. The badminton nets? Forget it. They’re never set up, and if you want to play, you have to walk all the way to the front reception and ask them to do what should have already been done. It’s just laziness at every turn. It’s such a shame because my kids really enjoyed some of the classes, and my husband liked the gym and the manager in there. But with how things are now, we’ve been forced to go elsewhere. The whole place is a joke, and honestly, the entire staff—especially the so-called managers—should be sacked. Oh, and yes, they do have free Wi-Fi, but trust me, that’s about the only thing they’ve got going for them. The staff, however, are just that bad—like, really bad bad. Avoid this place at all costs. I ahve been going for 3+ years and have seen no apparent "changes" implemented through staff nor managment.

Positive experience: Expensive entrance fee. Shoes can be worn in the changing and shower areas, not very hygienic.

Positive experience: Really nice pool and friendly staff. Only down side is that the changing rooms could be a bit cleaner. Am being very picky though.

Fantastic experience: Gym is good, has everything I need. David is the gym manager and he’s absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend getting a membership here. Good value and can’t really go wrong.

Negative experience: I am fuming my daughter and her friend wanted to go roller skating and I tried to book online and ringing since,10am and I drove there it took me 30 minutes to get there and they said we are fully booked and I said that I been calling the phones and he said we are not answering the phones and I ask if they can squeeze 3 kids in and he said no I’m disgusted that he is sitting at a desk next to the phone letting it ring and not answering it I want be going back

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre and gym, loads of activities and a nice little cafe to stop for a snack or drink. Friendly professional staff that are keen to help if needed.

Positive experience: Good pool, standard 25 meters and water is of fairly good quality. I'd just make people change their street shoes before entering the changing room, otherwise it can get dirty at times.

Negative experience: Sigh, this place used to be so good, now there are unqualified people trying to run a leisure facility, staff gather in little social gangs, classes cancelled all the time, especially the gymnastics. The sooner all the management get relieved of their duties and new , competent people employeed the better.

Positive experience: Well appointed, quite modem, very helpful friendly approachable staff, good value and long opening times, very child and family friendly

Negative experience: Staff are always dressed like homeless tramps, management set zero examples, life guards go around in little social clubs, does it really take three people to mop a floor, one doing the work and two watching/chatting, staff flirting with other staff like they are at a night club openly/loudly chatting, people outside visibly smoking, managers not around when you need them, dirty, they should all be sacked especially the so called managers. Would give zero stars if I could, we ha e been forced to go elsewhere because of this, which is a shame as my children really loved some of the classes and my husband did like the gym and manager in there

Positive experience: Kings Centre are very good place to swim for my child. If would you like to enjoy the fitness, it is good place for people who like to swim, to do a cardio workout with beautiful view, for members there are many access to sport. The new Manager took into account my remark about the always dirty wet floor and a week later there were guys who washed the floor after every swimming lesson (I don’t see this now). If you would like to have a family Sportclub, that is for you.

Fantastic experience: My daughters go to swimming lessons to this place. There are very kind staff, clean environment, enough parking space.

Positive experience: Nice local leisure centre , friendly staff ,easy parking, would of been 5 stars but they no longer accept cash you have to pay for everything by card which I think you should still be given the choice of how you pay.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience here, staff are really helpful and equipment is more than adequate.

Negative experience: I had to rent badminton rackets; they didn't let me because they don't accept money. That is cash. They want some banking system to be used. This is illegal and should be reported. The exchange of goods/money has always taken place precisely through cash. They cannot refuse money. I hope the authorities condemn them soon. There are no signs inviting guests to shower before entering the pool. Unfortunately, most customers lack a sense of respect for others and join the enter-in collection sweaty and sometimes not very clean. There are no signs calling for a socially acceptable attitude, for example, warning not to shout like crazy, which often happens. Places like this should have more social conscience. I do not recommend it—shallow level.

Fantastic experience: Great pool and facilities. Standard 25 metre pool, clean and well kept, friendly and helpful staff.

Negative experience: The changing rooms are dirty, when I asked at the desk when it will be cleaned, he said they are aware of the problem and letting his manager knows… nothing changed. Cancelling my membership

Positive experience: Pool and changing areas clean. Since going cashless it prevents students from purchasing drinks & snacks.

Positive experience: I play Mah Jong here every week. Staff are shy but competent- it's a good space!

Fantastic experience: Lovely leisure centre, nice and clean with friendly staff. They have gone cashless now, which wasn't a problem just letting you know. Will the manager was very helpful with lots of information about the services and of the local area. We also witnessed him moping up a spill, good technique!

Fantastic experience: It is the best place to learn how to swim

Positive experience: Temperature of pool was quite cold but otherwise I had a good swim which helps me after breaking my ankle, so physically helping to move my left ankle and also improve my mental health.

Positive experience: The team at the reception needs to be more active. Most of the time they seem lacking energy and not willing to talk to people.

Negative experience: Awful communication and the main reason I won’t sign up for a membership. Perhaps if you don’t have enough lifeguards so can’t open the pools at the time you say you will, then add a note to the website. It surely can’t be that hard. Also closing the soft play when you have decided to open the training pool late with no notice isn’t helpful either when you’ve had to get a toddler dressed and ready for swimming! Useless communication.

Fantastic experience: Great community gym at affordable prices. Claire who runs Les Mills is phenomenal. Only criticism is not enough air con in the studio

Negative experience: The pool was very cold and the water of the shower part was very cold and hot water was not coming. .The absence of hot water in the showers has been going on for a long time, only one shower cabin has hot water. Even though we said the pool was cold today, they didn't care

Positive experience: If only they'd answer the phone

Negative experience: Went to play squash and ended up being heckled by a group of yobs from the viewing area. After ignoring them, they decided to throw a wet tampon down onto the court we were playing on. On the way out I reported this to reception who quite frankly couldn't care less. I was met with a "they've left the building now" rather than concern that a sanitary product had been thrown onto the court. I am rather upset about this whole experience.

Fantastic experience: Swimming lessons with Andy have been absolutely excellent. We also used the pool several times over the Christmas break and the kids love it, great price and great pool. Great leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: A nice and relaxed centre. Everything is clean and straightforward. There is a small cafe with free soft play for children. Put your car reg in when you arrive for 3 hrs parking. Excellent.

Positive experience: It's a bit old and tired but pretty decent leisure centre, pool is only 25m, tiny kids pool.

Negative experience: In the extreme temperatures that I understood that there is no pools in EG. Your schedule for "free swimming" is for retired people and stay at home mothers (I get it EG has a lot of those, but most of them have pools of their own). For working people that want to refresh themselves after work there is nothing. And of course on one of the hottest weekends of the year, you guys are closed.. shame.

Positive experience: It's our local pool so we use it, The changing area has never been very good hygiene wise. But its ok

Positive experience: Had a swim. Pool temperature was OK. Not too busy. You have to book though. Nice showers. Cubicles could be bigger.

Negative experience: Me and my family went to kings centre twice now and they have messed up the booking. We have paid and booked it ,but each time they have messed it up.

Positive experience: My daughter loves swimming at the Kings Centre. Lovely local pool and nice way to spend an hour. The water is much warmer than it used to be!

Positive experience: Frighteningly cold in the main sports hall when it is not warm outside. I assume it has the opposite problem in summer. Free parking for centre users although it can get busy at times.

Negative experience: i hate this place so much, ive spent the past 4 years being kicked out of this place. i try to come back in a new outfit, new makeup, DIFFERENT HAIRSTYLE and each time i still get kicked out. i flirted with the receptionist and i guess i was too full on and security came and took me away into the back of a police van. and also for hanging around there without buying anything, i feel as if i do not need to buy anything as i am already a snack.

Fantastic experience: I am a pensioner living on pension credit I suffer from PTSD depression and anxiety My gp and mental health therapist advise exercise I would love to do more but its so expensive at kings I have asked about OAP discount and was told I have to be a member which I also cannot afford

Positive experience: Visited here on Sunday for stay and play with my child. The price on entry was very reasonable and there was a good wide range of activities (football,table tennis, badmington and bouncy castle)

Positive experience: Clean, reasonable-ish membership prices, if slightly overpriced just for the swim membership. Well staffed. Only use the pool so can't say much for the gym but it looks well equipped and never too busy. Decent pool and a good size. Would make a big difference opening at 6am.

Negative experience: website is terrible, can never log on, no good when your looking to check timetables, when you phone staff say they know, lots of people tell them
