Spindles Health & Leisure Club at the Europa Hotel

Negative experience: I've been going to this gym from few years on and off Everytime I have to face a rude lady sitting at the desk, I do not feel welcome and she acts very unprofessional and I get a racist vibe off her, never had any issue with the male staff

Negative experience: LADY AT RECEPTION IS VERY RUDE AND RACIST!! She has a very rude attitude as she did not want to explain why there is a price difference, she said take it or leave it? Management should take action as I will be telling all my friends to cancel their membership from this gym and move it to somewhere better where the staff treats you with respect

Fantastic experience: So lovely!!!! Not your typical up market gym but has everything you need, is super clean, great price and nice down to earth staff and people. Highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: No classes but a wonderful pool, jacuzzi, gym, and room. Very clean and very helpful staff.

Positive experience: Nice gym and pool. Pool is maybe 15m long but does not have a "deep" end. Usually fairly quiet and staff are pleasant and on hand for advice re workouts. The changing rooms are a bit dated but what can they do about that apart from an expensive remodel. Also a sauna, steam room, sun booth thing and hot tub. Beware of parking, you have to register your car number every visit! Parking is free though.

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and polite. Membership is good value for money. I really like the atmosphere, it’s a lot more chilled than other gyms. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Positive experience: Yes it's a bit tired and dated but I find the staff very pleasant and helpful, it suits me as I'm near to the venue, the machines do what they're supposed to... and its often uncrowded! And these things mean more to me! Have only used the gym so can't comment on the pool and other facilities.

Positive experience: Nice pool with & small gym, With a sauna and sun bed available for a small fee or membership card. relaxing atmosphere, hotel bar is accessible after 3pm. Beware of car park camera ! ( £100 fine if not registered)

Negative experience: It's not very clean.Has not had any improvement since 2011,lockers are broken and unusable, showers are dirty and are not cleaned.

Positive experience: I visited the hotel the club is situated in and had a look around the facilities of the health and leisure club, which seemed to have all the equipment and pools etc. Hot water tubs and sauna as well. Would like to revisit and take advantage of the facilities on offer

Fantastic experience: I love this swimming pool and the rest of facilities. If you are staying long time in hotel-best is to get membership. They ve got different ones. Now jacuzzi should be working.

Positive experience: Amazing staff, excellent pool, hot tub and saunas with clean wash rooms. Very less crowd compared to other gyms. The equipment is very good but a bit old. Excellent option for people who are interested in a no contact option for £26 a month. See it to believe it.

Negative experience: Used to go to this gym, recently moved back to the area the female staff are amazing 100% make you feel comfortable. The male staff I found very rude unprofessional and spoke down to you. I am now a member of oriel high school gym glad I made the change. There is also a charge for parking in their car park if you do not enter your cars reg every time you go to this gym.
