Negative experience: Temperature in the changing room is too low especially during cold days, swimming pool water is cold as well, they should learn from Blantyre swimming pool

Fantastic experience: Can never Get Access to the Swimming pool as i work Shifts and the Pool is always CLOSED FOR UP TO THREE HOURS FOR SWIMMING CLUBS,it is NOT A PRIVATE POOL ITS FUNDED BY TAX PAYERS

Negative experience: Pool, lockers and changing room really in need of refreshment. Water at the poolside pools in uneven tiles causing stagnant water and mold. All the machines in the gym look second hand and all different brands, generally 3 out of service. Only 3 or 4 kettlebells on offer and no slam balls. The gym is often full of kids pranking each other or stomping on the treadmills. If you attend a class later on and put stuff in changing room, expect them to be locked and you'll get moaned at for using them after 8pm. It's convenient but I must say the class and yoga instructors are fab, can't fault them its the environment and equipment that's poor.

Negative experience: Staff were unaware aquafit today 29/12 /23 was not going ahead. Class was fully booked and many turned up today . Website continued to accept bookings and staff assured yesterday that class was going ahead. Very disappointed

Negative experience: Visited today for a swim with my 3 kids. Changing rooms were filthy, and mould in places obviously from stagnant water. Used plasters on the floor in 2 of the cubicles and hair everywhere. Showers were so hot next to the pool that it was not safe to shower with the 2 youngest. The in cubical showers had a better temperature, but the water trickled out meaning it took ages to wash out shampoo. The place needs a deep clean and restrictions on numbers allowed in when over half the pool is shut off for lessons. Staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. Not a great venue with these points in mind.

Positive experience: Unaware ladies aquafit on this morning,absolutely no problem with that,however,would like to have been notified beforehand,as unable to complete any lengths! Is this now a regular booking?

Negative experience: Alright equipment but there's too many people in such a small area, far to many school kids. The gym needs air conditioning asap, it's just far too warm in the gym as well as how many people there is. Another downside to this place is the swimming, you are never able to get a slot to go swimming because of how many lessons there are. Personally if you can, you should go to the dollan baths in east Kilbride because how much better the place is.

Negative experience: Alright gym, needs new equipment and is in DESPRATE need in Air conditioning. Either to hot and unable to work out or really unbearabley stuffy

Positive experience: Great wee gym, but is a wee bit too small and some of the exercise bikes, rowing machines and treadmills are out of order. It really needs new modern exercise equipment, but councils are on a budget. The gym itself is clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and polite. In addition to the gym there is also a swimming pool, sauna and steam room and they are as good as anything I’ve used elsewhere. Very clean and tidy and of a decent size too. The whole centre is clean and tidy, staff are brilliant, extremely professional and I would highly recommend these facilities to anyone in the South Lanarkshire area. If they upgrade the equipment, which is constrained by budgets, then I would happily give the centre a full 5 stars.

Positive experience: Decent gym but the opening hours aren't great. The last hour open, pre CV-19, was always fairly relaxed but now it's pretty rammed - as one poster comments, more school kids hanging around the machines makes it a less enjoyable experience than before

Positive experience: Good community facility although can be restricted due to swimming lessons taking place etc. Been caught out a few times with this meaning no access to sauna or steam room despite paying for a full membership.

Fantastic experience: My oldest son attended swimming lessons here, and now my youngest does (10 year age gap). Staff are all absolutely fantastic, and the place is very clean and very well ran. My kids have loved their lessons here, and I have enjoyed taking them. The only issue I have had is parents reserving changing rooms!. Recently, to my surprise, some reserving showers also for their kids. Leaving parents with their kids standing cold and wet. This is very selfish, ridiculous behaviour. No excuse!. If you are a parent attending here or considering doing so, please have some consideration and take note of this. When the staff are notified, they are very quick and professional to stop this behaviour. The place is brilliant, and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Welcoming and accessible swimming pool. Liz on reception and Jaime, showed us accessible changing room. Made us feel very welcome.

Negative experience: The staff are really good but what let's the gym down is the amount of school kids that use this gym, sometimes there are so many you cannot get on any equipment. I've seen people walk into the gym, see it full of kids then walk out again, I also know a few people who have quit the gym due to this as well.

Fantastic experience: Had an induction for the gym this morning and I was shown round by Ross who was very helpful and explained everything clearly to understand and make it easy to remember the different ways on how to get the best out of your workout Lovely Reception staff also and there is a swimming pool, includes a steam room and sauna Would definitely recommend Overall a great experience

Positive experience: Been a been a member for years and overall an excellent facility. However the shower panels at pool need replaced as moldy, presume this will be undertaken soon as off putting. Staff very helpful.

Negative experience: its starting to fall apart , only one hot room open and the pool is absalut freezing , , south lanarkshire is falling apart in a big way , absalut shamefull , not to mention the other carparks are getting used for all the covid testars , a health center next to a covid center , opps , and a high school , not to mentiong hamilton water pallace , its only the big pool and the pirate ship thats open , the pirate ship is rally good , but the rest is shockingly falling apart, The staff are great ...

Negative experience: Took daughter to gym this morning at 9am and it is closed. Called up and answering machine does not give Xmas hours. Rubbish service, why would it be closed on Xmas Eve and why not communicate to customers?

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Gym has good equipment. I tend to go on a Sunday, my only concern is the amount of time the pool is closed for private lessons or parties. Apart from that this is a great place to work out
