Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. I still can't log on after loads of attempts. Thinking of cancelling subscription

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, all of them are a credit. Perfect for swimming lessons

Fantastic experience: Gym swimming classes squash badminton table tennis and so much more. Great trainers especially tim the gentle bearded giant who is amazing .

Negative experience: Obviously don't need or want custom as a family member was refused admission as they wouldn't accept cash, no mention of this on the website. Place is ever likely be quieter than a library. Poor.

Positive experience: Could have a better viewing area. Very dangerous to access seats from the back of the seats, there is a small area to squeeze past the seat to sit down which if you lose balance, you fall forward. If one seat was removed from the centre, it would be safer. Plus more seating needed to be made for parents to view their children. Benches would be better, like Cheadle Swimming Centre.

Positive experience: Never seems to anyone to answer the telephone. I go there to play badminton.. The posts are never on the lines. I'm sure footballers would soon complain if their goal posts were off centre or not in the specified line. However, the staff are always pleasant

Positive experience: Squash courts are good, even if it gets a bit noisy from the spinning class next door. The biggest let down is the lack of changing room space

Negative experience: Pool is cold not brilliant for young children, never any changing rooms free, people leave their clothes in the changing rooms then going for their swimming lesson. Not all of the lifeguards we’re fully aware of the safety procedures when learning children to swim, we were shocked to learn this as child safety should be paramount, our situation was very poorly handled by the staff when we complained. This was very unprofessional from all involved.

Negative experience: The water in the pool is like getting into a cold bath, the showers are cold. This is causing me no end of problems especially with tummy chills and pain with my arthritis .

Negative experience: If your thinking of signing up for the gym here i wouldnt bother the worst and unmaintained gym equipment i have ever used , dirty and toilets stink of pi*s , needs a complete refurb

Positive experience: Visited for a kids birthday party. Lifeguards were brilliant and inflatable was fun. Pool water was rather cool especially with kids getting in and out but they were having so much fun they didnt notice!

Fantastic experience: Staff are awesome as usual, facilities for the most part are pretty good, the odd little thing can let the place down though. No mirror in the mens changing rooms under the gym is a little inconvient, they used to have one but since the refurb haven't had it replaced. There are also still areas of the facility that need a bit of attention or modernisation, like the gym lockers on both sides etc. but overall its pretty darn decent.

Fantastic experience: A large leisure centre with indoor and outdoor activities available. One large swimming pool with viewing balcony. Accessible entrance and lift to first floor for personnel with mobility issues. A number of fitness classes for people with all abilities and varying ages. Friendly staff always willing to help. Tuesday kids & Friday adult kickboxing.

Positive experience: The staff are fantastic all around. One of my children have swimming lessons and the instructors she's had moving through the stages have been amazing. We had a birthday party there recently and hired the pool and inflatable obstacle course for a very reasonable price and enjoyable for us all. Plenty of activities to do including amazing metafit and kettlebell classes taught by Louise Jenkins (my wife of course). Some facilities have been upgraded however the complex in the whole is dated and is in need of modernising.

Positive experience: The kids enjoyed it, however its very dated now , it is still the same as it was thirty years ago when i went with school. Edit. Still the same as when I literally 10 doing judo , 30 years later there been very very minimal upgrade, maybe a bit more parking and a coffee machine or two moreand that's about all your getting for decades of littleprovement don't get me wrong though as there is still fun to be had there for everyone. Happy experiences people.

Negative experience: This place has the filthiest squash courts in the developed world , have complained many times but they don't bother.

Positive experience: In dire need of some investment. Everything you need is there and the staff are great, but the place is seriously tired.

Positive experience: A great place to take your children, attention needed though for the table tennis table, as using a metal net that is also to high, and is destroying expensive balls. Also the height of the metal net, is way beyond ITTF Regs. Never get lets in your game, due to having a metal net. I take this sport seriously, as used to play for the county, and trying to teach my son the sport also. So please please please, fix a real net to the table. I have even offered to pay for this and to maintain it. So if it is that individuals are destroying them. Then fit camera's to keep an eye on it. Also some heating wouldn't go a miss as it's freezing down there, by the squash courts. Still, son loves playing but could be so much better. Also learned that the price will go up, only by pence. And if that's the case then the table tennis had better be sorted out. Otherwise will get everyone who uses this to boycott it. Its a joke who uses mesh metal netting for a net. It's a part that the leisure centre have just let go. And not maintained. But the price can go up???
